00:57 So her app, Kimoji, it came out in December of 2015 and it has pictures related to Kim

01:20 But the guy who says that he came up with the app was completely left out.
01:29 And when you look online, there are pictures and videos of this man, David Liebenson, and
01:34 he's putting up signs in LA saying Kim Kardashian ruined my life dot com.
01:47 And according to the website, David is living in his car and after his lawsuit against the
01:53 Kardashian family, that didn't work out.
01:55 Well he was left without any money.
01:59 And back in 2019, he actually dropped the lawsuit and here's what specifically happened.
02:08 David had first met Kim Kardashian in 2014 when she wanted to invest in his other app
02:13 called Sensogram.
02:15 Now he's even shown messages from Kim Kardashian's friend, Jonathan Chabin, who talked about
02:21 a possible deal with him.
02:23 And he says that he and his partners met with Kim Kardashian as well as her mom, Kris Jenner,
02:29 in Calabasas and they talked about creating Kimojis, which are animated emojis and gifs
02:35 of the Kardashian family.
02:36 So not just Kim Kardashian, they were kind of trying to involve more of the family in
02:41 it.
02:42 And in 2019, in the lawsuit, he claimed that Kim Kardashian really liked the idea and promised
02:49 to work together as a team.
02:51 They'd split the profit 60/40, but she wanted to handle the trademark stuff on her own.

02:59 So David Liebenson, he had this to say specifically.

03:05 She stole my life's work.
03:07 No one should have to go through what I have in the past four and a half years."
03:11 Now when it comes to this Kim Kardashian's team, they say that David's other partners
03:16 actually signed a settlement agreement back in 2014 that was meant to resolve their legal
03:22 issues.
03:23 But he didn't actually agree with it and he refused to settle.
03:27 Now there are signs all over LA that are directing fans to his website where he talks about how
03:33 the fallout from Kimoji has caused him financial hardship.
