00:13 disgusting and saddening.
00:16 The allegations, of course, need to be followed up further.
00:19 And we, and the BBC, and Banerjee are busy investigating.
00:24 And Channel 4 has invited anyone who knows about this behavior
00:27 to come to us.
00:28 We've written to all our suppliers to say the same.
00:31 And we've set up a process for people to contact us anonymously
00:35 if they need to.
00:37 They're not empty words or gestures from all of us.
00:40 They are what is meant by our duty of care.
00:45 We will seek to find out who knew, who was told what,
00:49 and what was or wasn't referred up.
00:53 But what is clear to me is that terrible behavior
00:56 towards women was historically tolerated in our industry.
01:01 And the clips we've seen as well provide a rather shocking jolt
01:05 when one realizes what appeared on air not that long ago.
01:10 The behavior is less prevalent now, but it's still a problem.
01:14 And it's something that we must all confront.
