00:00We haven't made any announcement on the deployment of UK troops but we obviously
00:04take very seriously our obligations to deal with the threat that Russia poses
00:10and to support the people of Ukraine. That's why the Prime Minister is in Poland,
00:14it's why we're seeking the widest and broadest possible alliances and why our Defence Secretary
00:20is working hard to make sure that after inheriting the smallest armed forces for hundreds of years
00:28that we're building back up our defence capability in order to play our full part.
00:32We work very closely with President Zelensky and when he makes requests of the UK we always
00:38consider them seriously. That's not something as far as I'm aware that he's requested so far but
00:44we work with our allies to make sure that Ukraine's requests are met. We're determined
00:49to stand with Ukraine so that they win not just the war but the peace as well.
