00:00 What's up GQ? I'm Reggie Bush and these are my 10 essential items that I must have.
00:06 First thing is a nice pair of sunglasses. So important, it can accentuate the way your face looks.
00:20 My sunglasses have a little bit of details on the sides. That's obviously by design.
00:24 But also, most importantly, make sure you always know where you put your sunglasses.
00:29 If you're like me, I always lose my sunglasses so I'm always buying new pairs.
00:34 Make sure you have a specific place where you put them.
00:37 Next essential item I'm talking about is a football. Very near and dear to me.
00:43 Through this sport, I've become a man. I've learned so much about myself.
00:46 Who I am, what I am, what I stand for. Hard work, dedication, being someone who's dependable, who's going to show up, being a leader.
00:54 I learned a lot about myself in this sport but I've also been able to successfully build a family through this sport.
01:01 Just through the different things that I've learned about having proper foundation as a person, as a man.
01:06 Forever grateful for this sport, for the things that it's brought to me. It will always have a place in my heart.
01:11 The next essential are my golf clubs. But more specifically, the driver.
01:20 It's one of the sexiest clubs because it's the one that makes the most noise. It's the one that you can hit it the farthest.
01:26 It's the one swing in golf where you can really kind of like flex your muscle.
01:30 Everything else after you hit the driver is really about just accuracy and hitting it perfect.
01:35 But swinging this driver is about testosterone.
01:40 It's the new Strixon ZX5 MK2. It's a beast.
01:45 Strixon has been great. I've really enjoyed all the equipment. They have the number one irons on tour right now.
01:49 Some of their top players, Shane Lowry, Hideki Matsuyama, Brooks Koepka.
01:54 Some of the best golfers in the world play this equipment. I want my game to pattern after theirs and that's why I'm with Strixon.
01:59 The next essential is a L'Occitane hand lotion. This thing's been used up.
02:07 You put some Mirkin on this lotion right here. A lot of natural shea butter in it.
02:10 Very important when you're talking about lotions and hand creams that actually last.
02:14 You're always using your hands, shaking hands, picking up stuff.
02:19 If you've got kids, you're always just having to wash and clean stuff.
02:23 Your skin deserves it and it needs it. It just keeps your hands and your body nice and smooth.
02:27 My Tom Ford bag. I don't like having a bunch of stuff in my pockets.
02:34 Keys, phones, wallets, all kinds of things that I've got to carry with me throughout the day.
02:38 One, I'm just a huge Tom Ford fan. I have a number of Tom Ford ties, a few suits.
02:43 I went in there one time and I saw this bag, fell in love with it.
02:46 I got little pockets inside here. Then I have a zipper pouch in the front.
02:49 I got a whole other pocket back here.
02:52 I got kids. I always got to carry things for them. This bag really comes in handy.
02:57 I think the thing that helped me land on this bag was one that I could just wear it over my chest like this.
03:01 This is kind of how I wear it and it's adjustable. If I ever need to put something in it, I just flip it around.
03:06 Right here, the pocket's right here. Open it. Everything's right there for me to grab.
03:11 The next essential item that's near and dear to me is my family.
03:16 So many things about myself I've learned through family.
03:20 My wife and my kids give me just a strong foundation and all the right family support that I need to be the man I am out in the work field.
03:28 Here's the first picture that I have. It's from one of our football games that we did last year.
03:33 I used to be a cost for my analyst for Fox and my family would come to some games.
03:38 I believe this was one of the bowl games. You see my wife, Lili, our daughter, Briseis, my son, Uriah, and the crazy one at the bottom.
03:47 My amazing, beautiful son, Ajaman. This is who I do it for.
03:53 Everything that I encompass comes from them right here. They give me so much stability, strength, love, all the craziness, the right amount of craziness that I need in my life.
04:03 The right amount of love, the right amount of everything. As I've grown and as I've become a man and a father and a husband,
04:09 I've learned so much about myself and I'm still learning every single day.
04:13 Every time I go home, I feel like I'm learning something new from my family.
04:17 Next essential item, Beats by Dre headphones. The power beats, whenever I need to have a phone call, I'm on a Zoom call.
04:26 If I'm just listening to music, working out in the gym, if I need to have a FaceTime with my wife and my kids.
04:31 I found these headphones to be so useful. One of the things that I love about this design is that it has this little piece that sticks out right here.
04:38 And for the longest, I didn't know what it was for. When you put these in your ear, cuff them in between that little small area.
04:46 It hooks into your ear and it stays there and it doesn't move. And I didn't know that for the longest time.
04:51 And so these headphones will fall out of my ears sometimes. But now that I know the proper usage of them, I love them so much.
04:58 They just give me a lot of freedom. Audiobooks. I like to listen to motivational speaking.
05:02 One guy I like to listen to is a pastor named Miles Monroe. I listen to a lot of his motivational speaking about leadership, about family.
05:09 All these different things I think are so important. So I just think having a pair of headsets is universal. You need it. Go get it.
05:15 The next essential item, Chapstick. There's so many times I've been talking to somebody and their lips are chapped as hell.
05:27 And I just want to pull my Tom Ford bag around and just hand them this chapstick. You don't want to have chapped lips.
05:32 Chapped lips is just not a good look. Also, if you smile too hard, they might start bleeding.
05:36 For my kids, before they go to school every morning, they got to put on a chapstick.
05:40 We have a little list. Washing your face, brushing your teeth, putting on deodorant, putting on lotion, but also putting on chapstick.
05:48 Because a lot of times kids' lips are very chapped. My kids' lips are chapped all the time because they talk a lot.
05:54 Chatterboxes. You know when you put chapstick on, you don't want to put too much chapstick on.
05:59 Just a little bit on the mouth, right here. Just rub it in.
06:05 I golf all the time, a few times a week. Me and my boys golf all the time.
06:17 I play in a lot of pro-ams where I compete against other celebrity athletes.
06:20 And so one of the things for me is looking good while on the golf course.
06:23 When I played football, I always had to look good.
06:26 I come from the school of, you got to look good to play good.
06:29 And I carry that same narrative with me on the golf course.
06:32 One of the things I love about being with Travis Matthews is that we get a chance to tap into a sport and into a community that's encompassing of everyone.
06:41 We're going to design clothes for men and for women.
06:43 And I'm very excited about it. We're going to use a lot of different colors, a lot of different tones and different designs.
06:50 But I think I'm really excited about it and I can't wait.
06:53 Every man should have a great watch.
07:00 This actually watch was a gift from my wife for my birthday.
07:04 She knows how much I love watches. I'm a watch collector.
07:07 I love the red band. I put the red band on there because I just think the red band is just dope.
07:12 This is kind of like my ride or die watch right here. I wear this, you know, kind of with everything.
07:16 I think you can dress it up. You can dress it down. It looks good no matter what you're wearing it with.
07:21 And it's always got to be on the left wrist, on the same wrist as where I have my wedding ring.
07:25 Now that's where the natural jewelry was at. My wife wears it on her left wrist.
07:30 She has a couple of watches. I bought her. She has the AP watch.
07:33 She has a dope Richard Mille watch that I bought her.
07:36 We have Hublot's. I have a couple of Hublot watches.
07:38 But I think right now my favorite is the AP for sure.
07:41 All right, guys, that's it for me.
07:43 You saw my 10 essential items. These are things that are near and dear to my heart.
07:47 Things I use every day. Hopefully these are some things as well that you can use every day.
07:51 But that's it for me. Hope you guys loved it. See you later.
