00:00:01 It's Chicks in the Office with Rheanne Friend
00:00:03 giving you that Friday energy on a Friday.
00:00:07 This podcast is presented by Elf Cosmetics.
00:00:09 You guys know how much we're loving Elf.
00:00:11 It actually made me so happy.
00:00:13 Yesterday I was on the phone with my mom
00:00:14 and she was like, "I ran to the store
00:00:16 "because I heard you guys on the podcast talking about Elf."
00:00:19 And I ran right to the Elf section
00:00:20 and got myself some products.
00:00:22 And I was like, "Mom, that is, first of all,
00:00:23 "so freaking cute." - It's so cute.
00:00:25 - And I'm so happy that you did that.
00:00:26 And she loves them and she's so excited.
00:00:28 And we love the people that are tagging us,
00:00:30 showing us that you're getting the Elf products.
00:00:32 We've been loving our Elf products.
00:00:34 I've been raving about the couple of products
00:00:36 that I really love.
00:00:37 The brow lamination, so good if you're into that.
00:00:41 The brow gel that like-- - Brow lift.
00:00:43 - You know, you can lift your brows up
00:00:45 the way that I like to do.
00:00:47 Not right now, I told you I have to get them done.
00:00:49 Getting them done today.
00:00:50 And the lip liner, the primers, the cleansing balm,
00:00:53 the mascara, everything, all their products are amazing.
00:00:57 I have the-- - And their highlighter too.
00:00:58 I'm really loving the Halo Glow highlighter.
00:01:01 The little wand is excellent.
00:01:03 - And the size of everything is great.
00:01:06 I feel like it's easy to throw in your makeup bag
00:01:09 for whenever moments you need.
00:01:11 Everybody, I think, is familiar with Elf.
00:01:13 They've heard of Elf.
00:01:14 They've been using Elf for years and years and years.
00:01:17 And now, truly, it is better than ever, I think.
00:01:20 I put on the Lash & Roll mascara this morning.
00:01:23 It's great, great mascara.
00:01:26 So many great products.
00:01:29 The Halo Glow liquid filter is also amazing.
00:01:33 The Elf Skin products are great.
00:01:37 That's what you mentioned, the cleansing balm
00:01:38 is part of that.
00:01:40 But they also have a hydration mask
00:01:43 that I've talked about for your lips.
00:01:44 Amazing, fantastic.
00:01:46 Lips are always feeling good when I put that on,
00:01:49 morning, night.
00:01:50 That's the, honestly, it's like my favorite part
00:01:53 of my nighttime routine.
00:01:55 It's after you get everything done,
00:01:57 and the last step is you just slather it all on your lips,
00:02:00 and you're ready for, you hop into bed,
00:02:01 you're feeling good.
00:02:02 - And you wake up hydrated.
00:02:03 - That hydration mask is fantastic.
00:02:06 There's so many great Elf products.
00:02:08 You can check them out at elfcosmetics.com,

00:02:19 And we have something, we've been teasing it,
00:02:23 but we'll keep teasing it,
00:02:24 but we have something fun coming up with Elf
00:02:25 that hopefully we can reveal soon.
00:02:28 - Yes, we will.

00:02:36 Ready for the weekend, how are we feeling?
00:02:38 - Great, it's a beautiful day.
00:02:39 - It is gorgeous out.
00:02:42 Wow, I hit the sidewalk and was like,
00:02:44 "Hmm, this is a good day."
00:02:46 I wish it was staying, this temp is gonna get warmer,
00:02:48 but it's nice.
00:02:49 - Yeah, I was like, "This is the most perfect weather
00:02:51 "I've ever felt in my life," when I stepped outside.
00:02:53 That's why September, baby, it's the best month.
00:02:56 - It was beautiful, glorious, gorgeous.
00:02:58 - It just really is.
00:02:59 Like that 67 degrees, crisp,
00:03:02 little bit of a chilly breeze, but the sun's still hot.
00:03:06 - Don't need a jacket?
00:03:07 - No, I have my sweatshirt on my lap,
00:03:09 'cause I thought it was gonna be colder in here.
00:03:12 Yesterday it was Antarctica in here,
00:03:14 and it's not as bad in here today.
00:03:17 - So how are you feeling?
00:03:18 - Good.
00:03:19 - Good, having a good morning?
00:03:20 - Yeah.
00:03:21 - Weather's nice?
00:03:22 - Yeah, I'm having some issues with my refrigerator,
00:03:27 and it's just, is it running though?
00:03:31 My fridge is fine, the freezer's been broken,
00:03:38 and the earliest somebody can come fix it is next Friday.
00:03:42 It's just too long.
00:03:44 - That is way too long.
00:03:45 - Way too long, and I don't believe, like--
00:03:48 - I don't believe them.
00:03:49 - I just don't believe them when they say that.
00:03:51 And you know, that's, maybe it's true,
00:03:55 but when I say, ASAP, please, my freezer's unusable,
00:04:01 the alarm goes off at random,
00:04:06 and it just, I don't know what happened to it.
00:04:10 - Seems unfair.
00:04:11 - But now it's just, it doesn't close all the way.
00:04:14 It accumulated a lot of ice at a certain point.
00:04:18 We were away for a while, and just,
00:04:20 the whole thing built up in ice,
00:04:21 and then it wouldn't close, it was shut.
00:04:23 We had to yank it open,
00:04:25 now I'm trying to melt the inside of it,
00:04:27 but there's no way for me to turn my freezer off.
00:04:31 You know?
00:04:33 There's no off button.
00:04:34 Just stop freezing the freezer.
00:04:36 - You contacted the building?
00:04:38 - It's not the building.
00:04:39 They don't do anything for the freezer.
00:04:41 It's like, they have to come service the freezer.
00:04:44 So, I've been trying to think of a way
00:04:49 I've been trying to thaw it,
00:04:50 like I have the freezer on the highest temperature
00:04:52 that it'll go to, but it's still not,
00:04:54 it's not working, but anyway,
00:04:56 I've been waking up in the middle of the night
00:04:58 for the last three nights,
00:04:59 because the thing starts beeping,
00:05:01 and it wakes me up.
00:05:02 So, at 4 a.m. for the last three nights,
00:05:04 I hear, beep, beep, very high-pitched, annoying noise.
00:05:09 I have to get up, turn it off.
00:05:11 I'm gone this weekend, I feel bad for my neighbors.
00:05:13 If we're gone and it goes off,
00:05:14 there's nobody there to--
00:05:15 - Is beeping that loud?
00:05:16 - Yeah, it's loud.
00:05:17 - It's good practice for when you have a kid.
00:05:19 - There's nobody there to turn it off.
00:05:21 Thanks, Noah.
00:05:22 (laughing)
00:05:23 - It's like, show, tonight's your night, go.
00:05:25 - Yeah, nobody there to turn it off.
00:05:26 - Just turn the beeping off tonight.
00:05:28 - It is brutal.
00:05:29 - That sounds--
00:05:31 - It's always me, by the way,
00:05:31 'cause it doesn't wake him up.
00:05:33 - That doesn't sound fun.
00:05:34 - It wakes me up.
00:05:35 No, it's not, it's really not.
00:05:37 And I'm worried that the fridge and the freezer
00:05:40 are in tandem, because now my fridge,
00:05:41 I don't know if I'm just paranoid now,
00:05:44 but I feel like my fridge is getting warmer,
00:05:46 and that's making me nervous.
00:05:48 I'm like, I have food in here, you know?
00:05:50 - It could be.
00:05:51 - It's just a nagging issue I'm having,
00:05:55 where my freezer's unusable.
00:05:57 I'm really trying to get into cooking,
00:05:59 not into cooking, but at least prepare myself simple foods.
00:06:04 And I need my freezer to work.
00:06:05 I need my freezer to work, so.
00:06:08 Tough spot.
00:06:09 - That is a tough situation to be in.
00:06:11 - It's just the alarm, because really,
00:06:13 it's giving me a restless night's sleep.
00:06:17 - I'm so sorry, so you're not
00:06:17 waking up. - You're rested.
00:06:19 - No, 'cause when you wake up at four,
00:06:20 and then try and go back to bed,
00:06:22 then you're awake, it's an awkward time.
00:06:25 - It's an annoying issue to have.
00:06:27 - Yeah.
00:06:27 - I'm sorry.
00:06:28 - That's it, that's all I have going on in my life.
00:06:32 I have another wedding this weekend.
00:06:34 - I had a man walk into my apartment
00:06:36 that I didn't talk about the other day,
00:06:37 and I remembered when I left here yesterday,
00:06:39 I was like, oh, fuck, I didn't talk about
00:06:41 the man walking into my apartment.
00:06:42 But when I was home, so we have a keypad on our door,
00:06:47 I mean, we live in a building with a doorman, whatever,
00:06:49 but each individual apartment has a keypad
00:06:51 where you need to type in the code to open your door.
00:06:54 - So there's no keys?
00:06:58 - No keys, it's a keypad.
00:07:00 When you unlock it from the keypad,
00:07:03 it locks back up automatically.
00:07:05 But there's an app that we have on our phones
00:07:09 that's connected to our door,
00:07:10 and when you unlock it on the app,
00:07:13 it does not lock back up.
00:07:14 - When it closes.
00:07:15 - We realized the other day
00:07:17 when the man walked into our apartment,
00:07:20 I was sitting on the couch
00:07:22 watching the Southern Trot Marathon on cable,
00:07:24 and big T-shirt, no pants, sitting on the couch,
00:07:28 hair soaking wet, just got out of the shower,
00:07:31 and I hear the door open, and I'm like,
00:07:34 it's 11.30, so I'm like, okay, there's, what's going on?
00:07:38 And it was like a slow open, and then all of a sudden,
00:07:40 I see a dog walk in on a leash, and the man to follow,
00:07:44 and I was like, no, no, no,
00:07:46 that's what came out of my mouth when he opened the door.
00:07:48 I was like, no, no, no, which is actually not a good sign
00:07:51 for that's what I would do if there was an intruder,
00:07:53 no, no, no, in that moment, I was like,
00:07:55 wait, that's what came out of my mouth?
00:07:57 But I instinct-- - What else is there
00:07:59 really to say?
00:08:00 - My instinct was he has the wrong apartment,
00:08:03 so I was like, no, no, no.
00:08:04 - You're just like, oh, get out.
00:08:05 - And then he was like, oh, oh,
00:08:06 and he was really flustered.
00:08:08 He walked into the wrong apartment.
00:08:10 He didn't say anything, he just was like, oh, oh, oh,
00:08:12 and then walked out, and it kinda took too long,
00:08:16 awkwardly long, because the dog wouldn't leave,
00:08:19 and it was on a leash, so he had to yank the dog
00:08:21 out of the apartment.
00:08:22 - Irrelevant question, but what kind of dog was it?
00:08:25 - Like a Foo Foo Pomeranian type dog,
00:08:27 you know what I mean?
00:08:29 Not my style, but cute.
00:08:31 And it just took a little too long to get out,
00:08:36 and it was awkward, uncomfortable,
00:08:38 and I hysterically cried as soon as the door shut.
00:08:41 I don't know why, just part of me was so flustered.
00:08:43 I was like, (gasps)
00:08:45 and then I was laughing after that,
00:08:46 but tears instantly fell from my eyes,
00:08:48 like, oh my God, what if, what if?
00:08:52 And I was not prepared at all.
00:08:54 I gave a no, no, no, and I thought
00:08:57 there was no plan of action when that man
00:08:59 walked through the door.
00:09:00 Nothing, nothing went through my brain
00:09:01 of how am I gonna get out of this.
00:09:04 - Do you think that guy lives on your floor?
00:09:05 Like, have you ever seen him before?
00:09:07 - We think, no, we haven't.
00:09:09 - He might live on the floor.
00:09:10 Like, maybe he just got off the wrong floor.
00:09:12 - Right, the wrong floor.
00:09:13 - And just was like, sometimes you're just in a daze.
00:09:15 - That's what happened to me the other day.
00:09:17 And I went to open the door and then looked at the number
00:09:19 and realized it was the floor below me.
00:09:21 - I don't blame him.
00:09:23 Like, maybe there were other people, yeah, that's--
00:09:25 - My door is right off the elevator,
00:09:27 so I just get off the elevator and just--
00:09:28 - Right, and sometimes when the elevator opens to a floor
00:09:32 and you don't realize, you think you're going to your floor.
00:09:33 - Did you press the wrong number?
00:09:34 - I swear, I have no idea.
00:09:36 No one else was in the elevator.
00:09:37 I don't know how it went to six, I must've.
00:09:38 - Yeah, I mean, you must've pressed the wrong number.
00:09:40 - You were in a daze, sometimes you're in a daze.
00:09:42 And I guess that's what happened with this man.
00:09:44 And I realized in that moment that I wouldn't be good
00:09:49 when an intruder walks in.
00:09:50 I need to figure out a plan.
00:09:52 Well, now I'm gonna make--
00:09:52 - No, the plan is just to make sure your door is locked.
00:09:53 - Make sure my door is triple locked, yes.
00:09:55 - I think the plan from there would,
00:09:57 you should've run to your room and locked the door,
00:09:58 if it was an actual intruder.
00:10:00 - Right, but I don't know if you have time.
00:10:02 And like, I was actually thankful I was on the couch,
00:10:05 because if I was in my room and I heard the door open
00:10:08 and then heard it close, I would lock myself in the room
00:10:12 until I knew it was safe.
00:10:14 - That's like when that lady walked into the hotel room
00:10:18 I was at last year, remember?
00:10:20 They gave her the same key to my room.
00:10:22 - Right, just throws you off when someone's in your space.
00:10:25 And then right after that, I was like,
00:10:27 I wonder if he thought the decor was cute.
00:10:30 Like, I was like, if he didn't like,
00:10:32 I'll be embarrassed if he didn't like our decor.
00:10:34 - I'm sure that thought did not cross his mind all the time.
00:10:38 - This isn't my apartment.
00:10:39 - No, but when I see a peek into other people's apartments.
00:10:42 - Oh yeah, you get curious.
00:10:44 - I'm like, oh, I like that.
00:10:45 Like if they have their door open,
00:10:47 which doesn't happen often, but sometimes people have that,
00:10:49 I'm like, oh.
00:10:50 You know, I don't open the door, it's just.
00:10:52 - In a big apartment building,
00:10:53 a lot of the layouts are the same.
00:10:56 So yeah, it's like, oh, it's just interesting to see how,
00:11:00 what somebody else did with that space.
00:11:01 - Right, how did they decorate?
00:11:02 So immediately I was like, ah, what if he's judging?
00:11:06 You know, but glad everyone's safe, including myself.
00:11:09 - You just gotta get better with locking your door.
00:11:12 And now you know.
00:11:12 - I do lock my door, I thought.
00:11:14 - Yeah, well.
00:11:15 - Yeah.
00:11:17 - That was my first question,
00:11:19 'cause I feel like so many doors automatically lock.
00:11:23 - No, apparently not.
00:11:24 Yesterday I was walking on the street in the city
00:11:27 and a fight broke out amongst teens,
00:11:32 or I don't know, but I'm gonna say teens,
00:11:36 beating the ever living shit out of each other.
00:11:39 And someone was recording it.
00:11:41 And you know it's bad.
00:11:42 - Red star.
00:11:43 - You know it's bad when a homeless man on the street
00:11:46 was like, oh, geez, all right.
00:11:49 Like, you know this fight was bad.
00:11:52 - Where were you?
00:11:54 - On like 24th.
00:11:56 - Geez.
00:11:57 - I mean, it was intense.
00:12:01 And they were like laughing,
00:12:03 but being serious at the same time,
00:12:04 just beating the shit out of each other.
00:12:06 And someone was recording it.
00:12:08 And I stopped to look.
00:12:09 - Just to look.
00:12:10 - Because they were like semi walking in front of me,
00:12:12 and then all of a sudden the fight broke out.
00:12:14 And I like kind of got out of the way,
00:12:15 but then I was like, hmm.
00:12:17 - Well, I'm sure that the New York way
00:12:20 is just to ignore everything that's going on around you.
00:12:23 So I imagine everybody else just kept walking.
00:12:25 - Yeah, like people were stopping a little bit.
00:12:27 They were stopping a little bit,
00:12:28 'cause it sounded pretty intense.
00:12:31 But then you kept walking.
00:12:31 I was like, what the hell?
00:12:33 - I feel like that's what all New York people do
00:12:35 when they see any--
00:12:36 - New York teens.
00:12:37 - Any kind of issue or something happening.
00:12:39 It's just like you just keep--
00:12:41 - The cops will--
00:12:41 - You just keep walking.
00:12:43 - Yeah.
00:12:44 I saw this thing on TikTok,
00:12:47 or I think we've all seen it,
00:12:48 'cause we talked about the office.
00:12:49 But I have a question for you, Noah.
00:12:51 And don't lie.
00:12:53 How often do you think about the Roman Empire?
00:12:59 - Like never.
00:13:03 - Okay, great answer.
00:13:04 That's the answer I'm looking for.
00:13:06 I don't believe these people online,
00:13:11 there's this thing going viral
00:13:12 where girls will ask their guy friends,
00:13:15 boyfriends, husbands, whatever,
00:13:16 how often they think about the Roman Empire.
00:13:18 And their response is like every day,
00:13:21 a couple times a week, at least once a month.
00:13:24 I asked every guy in this office
00:13:26 if they ever think about the Roman Empire,
00:13:28 and it was a hard no, never, zero.
00:13:31 - Unless I'm watching a movie.
00:13:32 - Right, unless you watched a movie recently,
00:13:34 or a documentary, or whatever.
00:13:36 - What would there be to think about?
00:13:38 - Exactly, nobody in this office
00:13:40 thought about the Roman Empire.
00:13:42 I asked every guy, they were like, never.
00:13:44 - I saw Anna did it with Dylan,
00:13:46 and he was like, once a week.
00:13:48 No fucking way.
00:13:49 I think guys just think that's funny to be like, yeah.
00:13:53 - He was like, I don't know, gladiators?
00:13:54 - Yeah, people think about,
00:13:56 oh, girls think we think about girls all the time,
00:13:59 but really we're thinking about the Roman Empire.
00:14:01 - Why the Roman Empire to fuck with you guys?
00:14:03 - Right, I don't know, it was just a weird thing.
00:14:07 It was honestly just screenshots.
00:14:09 Someone did it on TikTok,
00:14:10 and it was just screenshots of messages,
00:14:12 and it went viral, and then other people started asking.
00:14:14 And then other people started asking,
00:14:15 and their people are like--
00:14:16 - That's not impressive to me.
00:14:18 - No, it's not, I find everyone to be lying.
00:14:21 - Even if you weren't lying, it's cool,
00:14:23 you think about the Roman Empire every day?
00:14:25 - I just find that to be so random
00:14:28 that I don't believe it at all.
00:14:30 - No, the people who say every day, just that's impossible.
00:14:33 - Or like, I don't know, a couple times a week.
00:14:36 Why, why would you be thinking about the Roman Empire
00:14:40 a couple times a week?
00:14:41 - I don't know.
00:14:42 - That doesn't make any sense to me.
00:14:45 - I don't know.
00:14:47 I think maybe like,
00:14:48 once a month.
00:14:52 - Once a month?
00:14:53 - I don't know, you only think about it
00:14:55 when something makes you think about it.
00:14:57 - I haven't thought about the Roman Empire
00:14:59 since high school.
00:15:00 - You're still thinking about it, though.
00:15:00 - Yeah, so maybe once a month,
00:15:02 like someone's like, I'm going to Rome,
00:15:04 and then you're like, oh.
00:15:05 - Right, that's what I'm saying.
00:15:06 I don't think it's like an out of the blue thought.
00:15:08 - No, exactly.
00:15:09 - Apparently to these guys, it's an out of the blue thing
00:15:11 where they're thinking about the Roman Empire.
00:15:12 - Which is like anything else in the world,
00:15:14 for the most part.
00:15:15 - But I feel like that's why
00:15:16 maybe it's getting interpreted differently.
00:15:18 'Cause I feel like, 'cause some guys are like,
00:15:21 oh, you know, like a movie or something,
00:15:23 it's like, oh, they're doing something
00:15:25 that makes them think of the Roman Empire.
00:15:28 - I just can't see it.
00:15:29 I just don't know why anybody would be thinking
00:15:31 about the Roman Empire.
00:15:33 Unless you're watching a movie about it.
00:15:34 - Yeah.
00:15:36 - Random, random thing that's going viral on TikTok.
00:15:38 - That was a very random thing.
00:15:39 - And then you see other guys tweeting,
00:15:41 like, I see this thing going on on TikTok.
00:15:45 And it's like, yeah, it's so true.
00:15:46 Like, I think about the Roman Empire
00:15:47 like a couple times a week.
00:15:49 - Yeah, you did ask a bunch of people here.
00:15:50 They all said no.
00:15:51 - Hard no's.
00:15:53 Even Francis I asked, 'cause I thought Francis
00:15:55 would be like, yeah, I think about it occasionally.
00:15:57 And he was like, never, zero.
00:16:00 - Yeah.
00:16:01 Maybe they're just doing it for the bit.
00:16:04 - But it's like, are there other moments in history
00:16:07 that, or periods in history that people think about
00:16:10 like a lot?
00:16:11 - Like a couple times a week?
00:16:13 - Yeah, like what?
00:16:14 - Maybe.
00:16:16 - There could be, I guess.
00:16:17 - Like, oh, I was just thinking
00:16:18 about the Great Depression earlier.
00:16:19 - I don't know, maybe.
00:16:20 - Every so often I just think about the Roaring Twenties.
00:16:24 - Yeah.
00:16:25 (laughing)
00:16:26 It's just, there's those--
00:16:28 - Couple, three to five times a week,
00:16:30 the Roaring Twenties just pop in my brain
00:16:32 and I say, damn.
00:16:33 - I was just thinking about Algebra.
00:16:34 - There's those history buffs out there.
00:16:36 - There are.
00:16:38 All right, well, there isn't much to--
00:16:40 - I thought maybe I would get a text,
00:16:42 I thought I chose that work,
00:16:44 so it's not gonna answer right away.
00:16:46 - He's probably thinking about the--
00:16:47 - Yeah.
00:16:48 - Sorry, he can't answer,
00:16:49 he's thinking about the Roman Empire.
00:16:50 (dramatic music)
00:16:52 - Straight Talk just introduced
00:16:53 the new Straight Talk multi-line plan

00:17:20 So once again, if you're paying too much
00:17:22 for your wireless plan,
00:17:24 Straight Talk just introduced
00:17:25 the new Straight Talk multi-line plan
00:17:28 where more lines mean more savings.
00:17:30 It's just $25 a line per month when you get four lines
00:17:34 with unlimited data, talk, and text,
00:17:37 all on nationwide 5G.
00:17:39 Plus, no contracts, no hidden fees, and no compromises.
00:17:44 That's the Straight Talk talkin'.
00:17:46 From Straight Talk Wireless.
00:17:48 Available at Walmart and Walmart.com.
00:17:50 - Anyways, not really much going on
00:17:54 besides when we talked to you guys yesterday
00:17:56 and we recorded not even really updates.
00:18:00 I will say the one thing is an update
00:18:02 from what we talked about is
00:18:04 Meg Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake
00:18:05 made a TikTok together after the VMAs.
00:18:08 And so that was very clear that nothing happened
00:18:10 between the two of them.
00:18:11 They were like laughing, but I think,
00:18:13 they had a song over, I don't know.
00:18:14 I don't know what was going on there,
00:18:15 but not much to update on,
00:18:16 but we do have an awesome interview with--
00:18:19 - My sister saw Justin Timberlake last night.
00:18:22 - She did?
00:18:23 - At Whitehorse Tavern in the city.
00:18:24 - I didn't know if we were allowed to say that.
00:18:26 - I think, unless she's saving it for something,
00:18:28 and if she is, sorry.
00:18:30 I mean, it's not like a,
00:18:32 there's not really a story attached to it,
00:18:33 it's just like she saw him there.
00:18:34 - She saw Justin Timberlake, it was just hanging.
00:18:36 - Didn't go up to him or anything?
00:18:37 - No.
00:18:38 - I wouldn't bother Justin Timberlake.
00:18:39 - No, I'd be way too afraid
00:18:41 to approach Justin Timberlake for sure.
00:18:43 - That nasty man.
00:18:44 - I feel like he's the kind of guy,
00:18:45 like if he had a hat on,
00:18:46 I probably wouldn't even notice.
00:18:48 He just kind of looks like a normal guy.
00:18:48 - Really?
00:18:49 He's Justin Timberlake.
00:18:50 - No, but like, if he just,
00:18:53 he has a beard, he has a hat on,
00:18:55 he's just in the Whitehorse,
00:18:57 I would just be like, that's a normal guy.
00:18:58 I wouldn't even think twice, that's normal.
00:19:00 Unless someone else is like, that's Justin Timberlake.
00:19:02 - I feel like famous people just have an allure to them.
00:19:04 Even if they look normal,
00:19:06 you pick up on the fact that it's Justin Timberlake.
00:19:08 - Justin Timberlake walks by, you know it's Justin Timberlake.
00:19:10 - Yeah, there's something that's--
00:19:11 - First, 100%.
00:19:12 - Like comes over your body, like,
00:19:14 and you're like, that's Justin Timberlake.
00:19:16 Even if he was wearing a black sweatshirt,
00:19:19 black hat, could barely see his face.
00:19:20 - Honestly, that's true, because remember in LA,
00:19:22 when we were at that theater,
00:19:23 and Logan Lerman walked by,
00:19:26 and I didn't really, I was like,
00:19:28 why do I know that guy?
00:19:29 - Right, you just can feel a famous person's presence.
00:19:31 - And that's Logan Lerman, not Justin Timberlake.
00:19:34 - You could just feel the presence of fame.
00:19:37 You feel it around me every day, I bet.
00:19:39 - Do you think he's, he's still A-list, Justin Timberlake.
00:19:43 - One million percent.
00:19:44 - I know, he's just like so not relevant.
00:19:47 I guess like--
00:19:49 - Jesus Christ.
00:19:50 - With the NSYNC coming back, but.
00:19:53 - Nobody laughed at my joke,
00:19:54 and now it seems like I was serious.
00:19:57 - I didn't hear it.
00:19:57 (laughing)
00:19:58 - I was too busy, I said,
00:20:01 I said, you feel the presence of fame around you,
00:20:03 like you feel it around me every day.
00:20:06 But I was kidding, and then it sounded like
00:20:07 I was being serious, 'cause no one heard me.
00:20:09 (laughing)
00:20:11 - It was more focused on Noah's, with the, I don't know.
00:20:16 - At what point, is he just A-list forever?
00:20:20 - Yes! - Yes!
00:20:21 - It's Justin Timberlake!
00:20:23 - But that is literally the allure
00:20:24 of being an A-list celebrity.
00:20:25 There are A-list celebrities that have done nothing.
00:20:28 - A-list celebrities, I think--
00:20:29 - For many years, and they just, they're just,
00:20:31 it's just name, they're A-list celebrities.
00:20:33 - So you think once you go A-list, you can never go back?
00:20:35 - Yep, kind of.
00:20:37 There's a special A-list tier, where once you go there,
00:20:40 you'll always be A-list.
00:20:42 Like Justin Timberlake will always be an A-list celebrity.
00:20:46 Justin Bieber will always be an A-list celebrity.
00:20:49 - Like, there's just people, you know,
00:20:52 Sandra Bullock, she's just recently,
00:20:55 sad reason why she was in the news again.
00:20:57 But she's been living a pretty quiet life recently,
00:21:02 for a while, I would say.
00:21:04 But if you were to say, like,
00:21:05 Sandra Bullock, like, yeah, 100%.
00:21:06 - Here's a good example. - A-list.
00:21:07 - Like, Ice Spice is A-list right now, but like,
00:21:09 in 10 years, you don't think Ice Spice is A,
00:21:11 everyone, like, she's like one of the most popular--
00:21:13 - I don't think she's an A-list celebrity.
00:21:14 - She's not an A-list celebrity.
00:21:16 In my eyes, A-lists are like the makings of Brad Pitt,
00:21:20 Angelina Jolie. - You have to have longevity
00:21:22 to be an A-list celebrity.
00:21:23 I, in my-- - I think she's A-list,
00:21:26 but like, not A-list. - I think this special
00:21:27 A-list tier-- - In my A-list criteria,
00:21:29 in my A-list criteria, there has to be
00:21:32 some sort of longevity.
00:21:33 You may be like an It Girl at the moment,
00:21:35 like, Ice Spice is an It Girl right now for sure,
00:21:38 but that doesn't make her an A-list celebrity, in my mind.
00:21:41 - Yeah, like, I think there's a special,
00:21:43 and I keep looking up when I say special.
00:21:45 - Up to the stars. - A-list, like,
00:21:46 I don't know why I keep looking up, like,
00:21:48 man, this special tier of celebrity,
00:21:50 but there is a special tier.
00:21:52 Like, you're not putting Ice Spice
00:21:53 and Justin Timberlake in the same tier.
00:21:55 - No, no, no. - No.
00:21:56 - But there are, I feel like there--
00:21:56 - So let's call-- - There have to be
00:21:57 different levels of A-list. - Well, let's call it
00:21:58 the S tier, then, where it's like, untouchable.
00:22:02 - Yeah. - Yeah.
00:22:03 'Cause she's not, you know, like,
00:22:05 you wanna call her B. - You're not gonna call her
00:22:06 a B-list celebrity.
00:22:08 I don't know, those lists are so confusing.
00:22:10 - I don't care, what does S count for?
00:22:11 - I don't think anything other than A
00:22:12 does not matter in my mind.
00:22:14 Like, you're either an A-list celebrity or you're not.
00:22:16 You know?
00:22:16 - Right, like, we're not gonna call her
00:22:19 a B-list celebrity. - Who's gonna debate
00:22:20 between, like, the difference between a B
00:22:22 and a C-list celebrity? - Right, right.
00:22:24 - I just think, like, you're famous--
00:22:25 - People always joke, like, Jesus.
00:22:26 - You're famous, or you're an A-list celeb.
00:22:29 Right, like, you're known, you're famous.
00:22:31 - Yes.
00:22:32 - I think there's, you're known,
00:22:33 and then you're famous. - Or you're, you know,
00:22:35 all the way at the bottom. - And then you're A-list
00:22:36 or you're S. - You're like a Z-list.
00:22:37 - Yeah, Z-list is like, you're a Z-list,
00:22:40 or you're just famous, or you're an A-list.
00:22:44 Like, certain TikTokers are, like, F-list.
00:22:47 - Yeah. - You know?
00:22:48 - Charli D'Amelio, is she, what is she?
00:22:50 - She's not A-list, but she's very famous.
00:22:52 - Yeah. - Yeah.
00:22:53 - But she's not, I wouldn't say she's an A-list.
00:22:54 - In longevity, she's been around for a little bit.
00:22:56 - I just find, like--
00:22:58 - I just don't know if that's an A-list celebrity.
00:22:59 - I don't know, I just, A-list, like,
00:23:02 A-list falls into the movie stars.
00:23:07 - Yeah.
00:23:09 - The musical stars, the movie stars.
00:23:11 - A-list to me are people who don't need to be
00:23:14 on social media that are incredibly famous.
00:23:16 - Yeah, I agree. - I think that would
00:23:17 probably be-- - They could never post
00:23:18 a day in their life and be famous.
00:23:20 - Most of these people don't have, like--
00:23:23 - Yeah.
00:23:24 - They never post.
00:23:25 - Totally, I agree.
00:23:27 - John Mayer?
00:23:28 - John Mayer is an A-list celebrity, I think.
00:23:32 - Yeah, John Mayer, and that rarely,
00:23:34 you know, I mean, he's active,
00:23:36 but it's not like he's posting.
00:23:36 - Right, but I'm not saying none of them post.
00:23:38 - No, no, I'm saying, like, is he A-list?
00:23:41 - Yeah. - Yeah.
00:23:42 - All right.
00:23:44 - That's-- - Just wanted to check.
00:23:46 - Noah's okay now that John Mayer is A-list.
00:23:49 Good, okay, let's get into the rest of our show.
00:23:53 We have a great interview with Christy Carlson Romano
00:23:55 and Annalise Vanderpool.
00:23:57 They are great, we had so much fun with them.
00:23:59 That is, it honestly was kind of a back and forth.
00:24:01 I don't know, you know, when we say interview,
00:24:04 like, we just had a lot of fun with them.
00:24:05 - Yeah, that was. - They are so great.
00:24:06 - It was a great chat.
00:24:08 - I just love them so much.
00:24:09 And we have-- - Great energy.

00:25:22 All right, let's get into the weekly watch report
00:25:24 where we talk about the things we watched this week.
00:25:25 Woo-hoo!
00:25:27 Weekly watch report, mm-mm.
00:25:28 Weekly watch report, yeah, yeah.
00:25:30 Weekly watch report, ooh-ooh.
00:25:32 Weekly watch report, hey, hey.
00:25:34 That was beautiful.
00:25:35 - Thanks.
00:25:36 I didn't even wanna chime in, you were on a roll,
00:25:38 I was just gonna let you have that one.
00:25:39 - Yeah, that one felt good.
00:25:40 - Yeah.
00:25:41 It's a good day.
00:25:43 - All right, what I watched, all Desperate Housewives.
00:25:46 I thought my list was gonna be really long
00:25:49 because, okay, well, I'll admit it.
00:25:51 I watched a movie and it was before I saw
00:25:55 everything happen with Mila and Ashton.
00:25:59 I watched Ted.
00:26:00 - You're allowed to watch--
00:26:02 - You can watch, you're allowed to watch Ted.
00:26:05 - I watched Ted and right after I watched Ted,
00:26:09 I saw everything that happened and I was like,
00:26:10 damn, come on, why'd you have to do that?
00:26:13 No, I was just like, why?
00:26:14 I was like, why?
00:26:15 You know what I mean?
00:26:17 But I watched Ted.
00:26:18 - What Happens in Vegas was on TV this weekend,
00:26:20 I put it on.
00:26:21 - Yeah, I just was like, damn.
00:26:23 I'm just disappointed, why?
00:26:26 So I watched Ted.
00:26:29 'Cause I just wanted a movie,
00:26:32 this is when I was really struggling.
00:26:34 I just wanted a movie where I could just
00:26:37 haven't seen in a while, laugh.
00:26:39 Ted is honestly hilarious movie.
00:26:44 - Very funny movie.
00:26:44 - That fucking teddy bear is so funny.
00:26:47 Genuinely--
00:26:49 - Very funny movie.
00:26:50 - Hilarious movie.
00:26:52 I also watched Real Housewives of New York City.
00:26:54 I caught up on that.
00:26:55 - Yeah.
00:26:56 - Like, it's fine.
00:26:59 Like, I'm not obsessed with it, but it's fine.
00:27:02 It did its trick, made me feel comfortable.
00:27:05 After watching that like hours of Desperate Housewives,
00:27:08 which could be creepy at times,
00:27:10 I then put on Real Housewives when I was alone
00:27:14 because I wanted to feel safe and sometimes--
00:27:16 - Yeah, that is a--
00:27:17 - Reality TV makes me feel like safe sometimes.
00:27:21 So I watched that.
00:27:23 I also watched Southern Charm on cable.
00:27:26 I didn't go out of my way to watch Southern Charm.
00:27:28 I was clicking around on cable and I saw Southern Charm.
00:27:31 I've never watched Southern Charm before
00:27:33 and I texted Craig after.
00:27:37 - I mean, it is kind of funny because I do think
00:27:40 that you have historically played it off.
00:27:44 If you have listened to our interviews with any of them,
00:27:47 you have played it off like you do watch the show.
00:27:49 - Yeah.
00:27:50 - And that's why.
00:27:50 - I'm like caught up on the drama and stuff,
00:27:53 but I've never actually watched an episode.
00:27:56 And I was like, I'm gonna put this on.
00:27:57 There's something else on cable.
00:27:58 I don't really feel like watching anything else.
00:28:00 And I watched like five or six episodes
00:28:02 and then the reunion.
00:28:03 - Southern Charm's great.
00:28:04 - And it really wrote me in.
00:28:05 - New season tonight.
00:28:06 - And I texted Craig in a group chat with you guys
00:28:09 and I wrote, Craig, I'm not gonna lie.
00:28:11 I'm watching Southern Charm for basically the first time
00:28:13 because there's a marathon on cable, wild.
00:28:15 And he just wrote, Rhea, what?
00:28:17 And he said, I mean, I don't care,
00:28:19 but you played that off for almost a decade,
00:28:21 which is true.
00:28:22 I was like, yeah, I mean, I wasn't shouting it
00:28:25 from the rooftops that I never watched Southern Charm,
00:28:28 but I didn't.
00:28:29 Wild though, I'm into it.
00:28:31 I may watch the new season.
00:28:32 - It's a great show.
00:28:33 - It is, I may watch the new season.
00:28:35 And then of course I watched Desperate Housewives.
00:28:37 I watched the entirety of season one.
00:28:39 And I also watched some episodes of season two last night.
00:28:42 And it's a fantastic show.
00:28:44 Love Desperate Housewives, give it an A.
00:28:46 Desperate Housewives gets an A.
00:28:48 I am getting better at not overkilling it.
00:28:53 Like last weekend I overkill
00:28:55 'cause I couldn't do anything else.
00:28:56 So I just watched the entirety of the first season.
00:28:59 The past couple nights,
00:29:02 I'm like, all right, let's play an episode or two.
00:29:05 Let's not get crazy.
00:29:07 'Cause you rarely make it to the end of a show
00:29:10 when you start one.
00:29:13 There is something with Desperate Housewives though.
00:29:15 I wanna make it to the end,
00:29:16 but I do know there's big changes that happen
00:29:18 and I don't know.
00:29:19 I don't know if I'll make it to the end of Desperate Housewives.
00:29:23 I don't know.
00:29:24 There's a change.
00:29:24 I don't know, I want to.
00:29:25 That's what I'm saying.
00:29:26 I can't commit to it
00:29:27 because I didn't make it to the end of Suits yet.
00:29:30 And so I know myself and it's like,
00:29:31 I want to make it to the end of Desperate Housewives.
00:29:34 - Are you gonna go back to Suits?
00:29:36 - So my parents were asking me this yesterday
00:29:39 because they loved Suits.
00:29:42 They watched all nine seasons in a scary amount of time.
00:29:45 And we had a little back and forth yesterday
00:29:49 where they were like, "Are you not gonna keep watching?"
00:29:50 And I was like, "Right now I'm watching Desperate Housewives
00:29:52 "and you guys need to respect that."
00:29:53 And they were like, "Well, why don't you finish Suits?"
00:29:55 And I said, "'Cause I got really sick
00:29:57 "of the same thing happening."
00:29:59 And I said, "Listen, it's my own fault.
00:30:02 "I know that I did it to myself
00:30:04 "and I'm about to do it to myself again with this show.
00:30:06 "That's why I'm taking it easy
00:30:07 "and I think eventually I will go back."
00:30:09 - I would love to sit and watch Suits with your dad.
00:30:12 - I mean--
00:30:13 - I would just love to hear his commentary on the show.
00:30:15 - He has commentary about everything, so.
00:30:18 - Yeah. - I'm sure it would be interesting.
00:30:19 - I just find, and I don't know what it is,
00:30:21 but I find it, and if it's something
00:30:24 that's getting really bad, I'll give up on it.
00:30:27 But I can obviously watch multiple shows at a time,
00:30:32 but I rarely will stop a show in the middle.
00:30:39 I just, I have to finish it.
00:30:41 - Yeah.
00:30:42 I think when there's so many seasons
00:30:45 is when I get like, all right, where,
00:30:47 like when it gets repetitive sometimes.
00:30:49 Like Suits, 90, Desperate Housewives,
00:30:51 like sometimes you just get, like I can,
00:30:54 two, three seasons, I'm definitely finishing a show.
00:30:56 - Right.
00:30:57 - When there's like 10 seasons of a show,
00:31:00 you're like, damn.
00:31:02 - Yeah.
00:31:03 But that's why you can like space it out.
00:31:05 - That's what I'm trying to do here.
00:31:06 I will, I'll probably eventually go back
00:31:09 and with Desperate Housewives,
00:31:11 that's why I'm trying to take it easy.
00:31:12 One, two episodes a night where I don't get tired of it.
00:31:16 - Yep.
00:31:17 - So that gets an A for me.
00:31:19 Southern Charm will get, I might get a great Southern Charm.
00:31:22 I was watching it on cable, and I don't even know
00:31:24 like what season it was. - I still think that counts.
00:31:26 - I'm gonna--
00:31:26 - Oh, you don't even know what season it is.
00:31:27 - Like I don't even know, it was old.
00:31:29 I was like, so I'm gonna give Southern Charm
00:31:35 and now I'm afraid Greg and Austin are gonna see this.
00:31:40 - People are also thinking, people are gonna think
00:31:43 that you're talking about the new episode
00:31:45 of the new season.
00:31:46 - Clarify, old Southern Charm episodes, not sure when.
00:31:52 - This is really tough for you.
00:31:57 - It is, it's tough.
00:31:59 I'm gonna give Southern Charm a B.
00:32:05 - Did you continue watching after the guy came in?
00:32:07 - The show, Southern Charm?
00:32:10 - Yeah.
00:32:11 - Yeah, I continued. - After the guy walked
00:32:12 into your, you just kept watching.
00:32:14 - Yeah, when we're supposed to--
00:32:15 - That would throw my whole day off.
00:32:17 I would just be like, I gotta like go to sleep
00:32:19 or something.
00:32:20 - No, I continued to watch.
00:32:21 It was 11.30 in the morning. - Go to sleep,
00:32:22 it was 11.30 in the morning.
00:32:23 - And--
00:32:25 - Taking a nap.
00:32:25 - I didn't know what else to do.
00:32:28 I said, I'm gonna continue watching.
00:32:29 - Yeah, I think you just gotta go on with your day.
00:32:31 You cannot let something like that derail you.
00:32:33 - Yeah, you know?
00:32:35 I got my cry out and I moved on.
00:32:37 - Exactly.
00:32:38 - I felt silly crying too, but I moved on.
00:32:41 So Southern Charm gets a B and
00:32:45 Ted.
00:32:48 Ted will get a B plus.
00:32:55 And Real Housewives of New York City will get a C minus.
00:33:02 - It's fair.
00:33:03 - It's fine.
00:33:04 Like I'm just, I'm not totally obsessed
00:33:06 and I think their fights are pretty stupid.
00:33:08 They're entertaining 'cause of how dumb they are.
00:33:11 But yeah, that's what I watched this week.
00:33:13 - I need some more like from certain characters,
00:33:17 characters, whatever you wanna call them.
00:33:20 Like I need,
00:33:25 I like
00:33:27 Psy a lot.
00:33:32 I just need there to be more than like,
00:33:36 she needs to be fed or she's hungry or she's critical.
00:33:39 Like it's been every single episode.
00:33:41 - I feel like she is very critical of everybody else.
00:33:44 - Yeah, she is.
00:33:44 - I like Jenna.
00:33:47 I feel like they're hard on her.
00:33:49 - Yeah, I think they're hard on her.
00:33:51 Like that is just also a very classic like jealousy thing.
00:33:56 Like I think they think that Jenna thinks
00:33:59 she's better than them.
00:34:00 - Yeah, and I think she's sweet.
00:34:02 - Yeah, I think Jenna's been great.
00:34:05 - And I think it's okay that she wanted to fly
00:34:08 whatever she wanted to fly.
00:34:09 - Yeah, and if she wanted,
00:34:11 and if also like, if she did wanna get a tan, also fine.
00:34:15 If she wanted to pay to fly business class.
00:34:19 - So let her do that.
00:34:20 - Exactly.
00:34:21 - I don't think she caused any harm to anybody.
00:34:24 - Yeah, I kind of feel bad for Jessel a little bit
00:34:27 because I feel like she gets an edit
00:34:32 that makes her look even more annoying than she is.
00:34:36 It's the way they frame things.
00:34:40 Like in this last episode,
00:34:41 I think it was the last episode I was watching,
00:34:44 but they're on this trip
00:34:45 and they're opening up about their past
00:34:47 and it's a serious conversation, they're talking about it.
00:34:52 And then Jessel starts to tell her story
00:34:54 about like her uncles.
00:34:56 Seems like a long winded story,
00:34:57 seems like she's just a long winded gal.
00:34:59 But the way they edit it,
00:35:01 where they were like cutting back and forth
00:35:03 and they're like really making it look
00:35:04 like she was just dragging it on and on and on.
00:35:08 And I'm like, oh, that sucks for her
00:35:10 'cause she thought she was telling her friends
00:35:12 her life story about her family
00:35:14 and they're making fun of her for doing it.
00:35:17 - Like it's, yeah.
00:35:18 - That it was just like a really long story.
00:35:20 But yeah, I like Uba a lot also.
00:35:25 - So do I.
00:35:26 - I think she's cool.
00:35:27 - She has such a fantastic body.
00:35:29 - Yes, yeah.
00:35:30 - Well, I'm saying that
00:35:31 because she was talking about her boobs
00:35:33 and I was like, oh my God, she does have great boobs.
00:35:36 - Yep.
00:35:38 - I've talked about my love for cooking on this show before.
00:35:42 I love making new things, I love mixing it up.
00:35:45 Last night, you know, made a little taco.
00:35:48 I love cooking and I love changing it up every week.
00:35:51 But the most important thing when you're cooking
00:35:54 is to make sure you have the good pans,
00:35:56 the good stuff to get you through the night.
00:35:59 You don't want a pan that isn't, you know,
00:36:02 it's just not gonna cook it right.
00:36:04 You know the difference between a good pan and a bad pan.
00:36:07 A bad pan, it doesn't come out as good.
00:36:09 Maybe if you're an excellent, fantastic cook,
00:36:12 you can cook up with anything,
00:36:13 but you really do need good pans
00:36:16 and kitchenware in your life.
00:36:18 Caraway's nonstick kitchenware makes cooking a breeze
00:36:20 and cleanup easier than ever.
00:36:22 And it's back to school made easy.
00:36:24 Nonstick is awesome.
00:36:27 That really is a lifesaver when it comes to so many things
00:36:30 that you're cooking.
00:36:31 With so many collections
00:36:32 of their internet famous kitchenware to explore,
00:36:34 there's Caraway for every kind of cook.

00:36:53 designed for chopping better.
00:36:55 Having good knives is also so important when you cook a lot.
00:36:59 There is nothing worse
00:37:00 than cutting something up with a bad knife.
00:37:02 It's seamless, it's easy with a good set of knives.
00:37:05 I think everybody should own a good set of knives
00:37:08 in their life.
00:37:09 And if you don't, get on that.
00:37:11 Get on that right now.

00:37:47 - So I caught up on New Jersey, not New York.
00:37:51 I'll give it a C.
00:37:53 I like it too.
00:37:54 Like I'm watching it but I'm not like,
00:37:56 I catch up on it when I have time.
00:37:58 I'm not, I don't even know what night it's on TV.
00:38:00 You know?
00:38:01 - Yeah.
00:38:02 - Like it's, I open--
00:38:03 - Throw it on when you, right.
00:38:04 - I open Peacock and I'm like,
00:38:05 oh I missed a couple episodes, I'm gonna catch up.
00:38:06 - Yep.
00:38:07 - Salt Lake City, I watched the new season, episode one.
00:38:12 Bravo Casting just really does their job, you know?
00:38:16 They brought in a woman,
00:38:19 and now I'm spacing on her name already.
00:38:22 I only watched the first episode.
00:38:23 I know that, I think there's two out now
00:38:24 or maybe, I guess maybe three now, I don't know.
00:38:27 A new cast member was a witness in the Jen Shah trial.
00:38:34 - Yep.
00:38:36 - So she's coming in, she's like,
00:38:38 I've heard a lot from Jen about these women
00:38:41 and Jen never had nice things to say about anybody.
00:38:44 So that's an interesting spin.
00:38:48 - Yeah, they know what they're doing.
00:38:49 - I like it, I like it.
00:38:50 There's a, I have a soft spot for Salt Lake City.
00:38:53 I don't know, sometimes it's just really so absurd
00:38:56 and funny that it's just,
00:38:59 once again, I just think those ladies
00:39:02 take themselves way too seriously.
00:39:04 It's just, not all of them, but a few of them,
00:39:08 like you just gotta lighten up.
00:39:10 - Yep.
00:39:11 - I think Meredith was really upset
00:39:12 that Whitney had said to Page Six
00:39:14 that she was making fun of her and her husband,
00:39:17 that they were in the tub together
00:39:19 and she was really fucking mad.
00:39:21 And Whitney's like, it was a joke,
00:39:25 it's just the little things that really pissed them all off.
00:39:29 I'll give that first season,
00:39:30 I guess it's season four, episode one
00:39:32 is the only one I watched, I'll give it a B.
00:39:35 I liked it, I'm ready to go, ready for a new season.
00:39:37 I'm more invested.
00:39:40 Mary's back, oh, God, just the weirdest,
00:39:45 truly the weirdest person I've ever seen,
00:39:47 one of the weirdest people I've ever seen on reality TV.
00:39:51 I don't know, I just, she is just bizarre
00:39:54 in a fascinating way, but also just like,
00:39:59 I would be terrified to be in the same room as her.
00:40:03 I watched all of the second season of Selling OC.
00:40:09 - Really?
00:40:10 - I watched the first one, this goes back to when I start,
00:40:14 I watched the first season, I was like,
00:40:15 I gotta watch the second.
00:40:17 I watched the second.
00:40:18 - Is this show good?
00:40:21 - I liked the first season better.
00:40:27 The second season felt, I don't know,
00:40:31 it was the same as Selling Sunset.
00:40:33 I watched Selling Sunset and I enjoy Selling Sunset
00:40:35 even though I know a lot of it is just fake, super fake.
00:40:40 And that's kind of how I watched Selling OC.
00:40:42 And I don't know, there was more of an interesting dynamic
00:40:44 with the Tyler guy who was married to Brittany Snow
00:40:46 and Alex Hall and what was happening.
00:40:48 And I like Alex Hall and it was just, I don't know,
00:40:52 maybe things have changed or they played up for the camera,
00:40:54 but Alex Hall is just that girl that you really like,
00:40:57 but she will play it up for the guy that she likes.
00:41:02 And you're like, oh, I kinda wish she didn't do that.
00:41:05 I like her as a friend to the rest of the girls,
00:41:08 but I'm like, this girl is so in love with Tyler
00:41:11 and will not admit, she's like, we're just best buds.
00:41:14 We're just best buds.
00:41:16 And then they share this moment at the end of the season,
00:41:18 but it meant nothing because they're doing interviews
00:41:21 and they're like, oh no, we're friends.
00:41:23 It just feels like, I'm like, okay,
00:41:25 you knew what you were doing.
00:41:26 It's like, ah, new storyline, whatever, I think.
00:41:30 But it was just a lot of the same fights.
00:41:36 They were arguing about the same thing the whole season.
00:41:39 Kayla came in with a real chip in her shoulder,
00:41:43 which was fine, but it was just kind of a lot.
00:41:46 I like Brandy a lot.
00:41:50 I think she's one of my favorites.
00:41:52 I think she did not wanna get involved in the drama at all
00:41:54 and then ended up getting involved in the drama
00:41:56 and is maybe like, wants to be on the show,
00:41:59 but is also like, this shit is really fake
00:42:01 and I don't like to be involved in all this fake shit,
00:42:05 but here I am involved in the fake shit
00:42:07 and then she gets frustrated.
00:42:08 They brought in a new woman who like,
00:42:15 oh, so organically she's gonna be a new agent,
00:42:18 but she doesn't even have a real estate license,
00:42:19 but she's gonna join the group.
00:42:23 And her name is also Alexandra.
00:42:26 There's nine million Alexandras, but she goes by Allie.
00:42:29 And they just said, give us another Chrishell.
00:42:34 Like copy paste Chrishell.
00:42:35 Southern girl getting into real estate, excited.
00:42:42 They look the same.
00:42:43 - Really?
00:42:44 - They literally look the same.
00:42:45 I gotta try and find a picture of her.
00:42:47 Like totally same look.
00:42:49 And she's like talking to,
00:42:52 she's talking to Jason
00:42:59 and I'm like, Jason's gonna love her
00:43:01 'cause she looks just fucking,
00:43:03 she looks just like Chrishell.
00:43:05 Look at this woman's Instagram
00:43:08 and tell me she does not look exactly like Chrishell.
00:43:10 - Even from like what you just showed me.
00:43:11 - Yeah.
00:43:12 - Yeah.
00:43:16 - It's just the same person.
00:43:18 - That is funny, wow.
00:43:19 - Like, and she lives in Nashville, she's Southern.
00:43:23 Like she's got the whole vibe of like,
00:43:25 you know, humble beginnings.
00:43:28 Now she's taking on real estate on the West Coast.
00:43:31 - Yeah.
00:43:32 - And I'm like, oh my God.
00:43:34 All right, casting, just deciding.
00:43:36 'Cause it's just, that stuff is never,
00:43:38 the real estate, and you know, I'm not,
00:43:41 these people work for sure,
00:43:43 but there are other agents that obviously work
00:43:46 at the group, the O group, that are working
00:43:51 and not on this TV show, you know?
00:43:55 So she comes on and she's like,
00:43:57 oh, you know, I'm interested in getting into real estate
00:44:00 but like I don't have my license
00:44:01 and I've never sold a house before.
00:44:03 And they're like, oh, let's put her--
00:44:04 - I'm really interested in getting into reality TV.
00:44:06 - Yeah, let's put her in OC where the real estate
00:44:09 is so fucking expensive, like they're selling
00:44:13 million, million, million, million, million dollar homes.
00:44:16 - I don't think that's legal.
00:44:17 - Like, no, well she's gotta get her license
00:44:20 before she can actually sell a home.
00:44:22 But yeah, I mean, you fly through this show also.
00:44:26 It's like eight episodes that are 30 minutes.
00:44:28 Like you can literally watch it in one night.
00:44:31 Like you just kind of, and it's on
00:44:32 and you're paying attention
00:44:33 but you're not really paying attention.
00:44:36 I'll give it a C.
00:44:39 It's just like, you know, it's fine.
00:44:41 - Yeah, it's there.
00:44:42 - Yeah, I do like to see that OC real estate though.
00:44:44 Those houses are stunning.
00:44:46 Which is a fun aspect.
00:44:51 But yeah, I don't know what's,
00:44:54 I can't get a read on this Tyler guy also.
00:44:57 Like good guy, married to Britney Snow, divorce.
00:45:00 He doesn't like wanna be in the drama
00:45:02 but I'm like, what are you doing
00:45:03 with this Alex Hall situation?
00:45:05 Because you're playing it up a little bit.
00:45:08 And he knows she loves him.
00:45:10 - Right.
00:45:11 - You know?
00:45:12 Like they're trying to act like he doesn't
00:45:15 or she's trying to act like, oh, I don't know
00:45:18 if we can take that next step.
00:45:20 But, so maybe it's just all fake
00:45:23 but the way it comes off on TV is that
00:45:25 if Tyler were to say let's fucking elope tomorrow
00:45:29 she'd be like, where do I sign?
00:45:31 That's the vibe it gives.
00:45:33 I don't know if that's real or not
00:45:35 but that's the vibe it gives.
00:45:36 Yeah, so that's really all the thoughts
00:45:40 I have on Selling OC.
00:45:42 What else did I watch?
00:45:45 I watched two episodes of Only Murders.
00:45:47 It's catching up.
00:45:48 I've missed a few episodes.
00:45:50 I watched four and five.
00:45:51 Great, give them a B plus.
00:45:54 I love this show.
00:45:55 I also love this potential Jesse Williams,
00:45:58 Selena Gomez romance they got going on for this season.
00:46:02 I don't know if there's gonna be any twists
00:46:03 or what's happening but there's a twist
00:46:05 around every corner.
00:46:07 You don't know what's gonna happen.
00:46:07 - The show is full of twists.
00:46:08 - It is.
00:46:09 Justice for Marjorie.
00:46:14 But, very funny.
00:46:15 Steve Martin's had some very funny moments
00:46:17 in those two episodes also.
00:46:19 They did this white room concept.
00:46:22 Did you watch that one?
00:46:23 - No, so I watched last week.
00:46:26 I watched a couple episodes.
00:46:27 I think I'm two behind now or maybe one behind.
00:46:30 - So then you definitely did watch
00:46:31 the white room episode.
00:46:33 It was episode four.
00:46:34 There's like seven episodes.
00:46:36 - Okay, no, no, I'm behind.
00:46:37 I'm more behind than I thought.
00:46:39 - I think seven just came out this week.
00:46:42 - I have to watch four, five, six, seven I think.
00:46:46 - I won't give anything away but they did this.
00:46:48 It's the idea that Steve Martin has to perform this song
00:46:54 but he has a mental block.
00:46:56 And it's like this actor's concept called the white room
00:46:58 where for stage performers you just go on stage,
00:47:01 you basically black out.
00:47:02 You have no idea what's happening.
00:47:04 And then it ends.
00:47:05 So it keeps happening to Steve Martin
00:47:07 while he's trying to practice this song.
00:47:10 And everyone's watching.
00:47:11 And he has no idea what he did.
00:47:14 The stage is ruined and everything's all over the place
00:47:19 and they're all average.
00:47:20 Very funny, funny bit, loved it, thought it was funny.

00:48:15 I watched the first episode of,
00:48:22 I believe it's called Welcome to Wrexham,
00:48:24 the docu-series on Wrexham, the football club
00:48:29 that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney,
00:48:33 I always say his name wrong, run in Wales.
00:48:38 To be honest, I didn't know
00:48:39 that there was a whole first season.
00:48:41 I thought that this was like a brand new show.
00:48:43 That's my B.
00:48:45 - Really?
00:48:46 - Yeah, I kind of--
00:48:47 - I feel like it was like a commercial,
00:48:48 so many commercials.
00:48:49 - I don't know, I just feel like I was just seeing
00:48:51 so much promotion for it now
00:48:54 that I thought that it was new, but it's the second season.
00:48:58 And I'm just jumping in at the second season.
00:49:01 So season two, episode one,
00:49:03 I very much liked it, I'll give it a B plus.
00:49:06 I love a good docu-series.
00:49:08 - Oh wait, so you watched season two, episode one.
00:49:11 - Yeah, I mean I don't need to go back to watch season one,
00:49:13 I know what happens.
00:49:15 I've heard about it, they did a whole recap
00:49:19 at the beginning of season two about all of season one.
00:49:21 I feel like I get the gist.
00:49:22 And when you watch a docu-series that is more dated,
00:49:28 it's just not as interesting.
00:49:30 You wanna be more up to date with what's going on.
00:49:32 So I'm just jumping in for season two.
00:49:36 Love me some Ryan Reynolds, just really do.
00:49:39 - Who doesn't?
00:49:40 I also watched
00:49:41 Lords of Dogtown for the first time.
00:49:46 - Really?
00:49:47 - Yeah, this was a Joe request.
00:49:49 He came home and was just really in the mood
00:49:51 to watch Lords of Dogtown.
00:49:52 He knows it's one I've never seen, watched it.
00:49:55 Fine, good movie.
00:49:58 Feels like boy vibes.
00:50:02 Not a lot of dialogue.
00:50:05 It was kinda hard for me to follow at times,
00:50:07 which I may have just not been fully paying attention.
00:50:10 But I'm jumping around, I'm like wait,
00:50:12 now these ones are famous, these ones aren't famous.
00:50:14 I'm like what's happening?
00:50:15 But like I said, not a lot of dialogue.
00:50:17 Good movie though, I'll give it a B.
00:50:20 - Yeah, that was a big one my brother loved
00:50:21 when we were younger.
00:50:22 - Yeah, yeah.
00:50:23 Do I think I'll ever watch it again?
00:50:26 No.
00:50:27 But it was a good movie.
00:50:30 And Suits, I finished the first season.
00:50:36 Good cliffhanger, love a good cliffhanger.
00:50:39 Good season one cliffhanger.
00:50:41 And now I'm on to season two.
00:50:44 So I really enjoyed, it got me at the beginning,
00:50:48 and then episodes like seven, eight, nine,
00:50:53 I was half asleep.
00:50:56 But 10, 11, 12 kinda like wrote me back in,
00:50:59 and the season one finale was really good.
00:51:01 - Yeah.
00:51:02 - So I'll give that a,
00:51:03 I'll give it a B minus.
00:51:08 - Good score.
00:51:09 - I never know like when I'm binging shows,
00:51:11 it's just all one season to me.
00:51:14 'Cause I don't know, I'm not like oh this is the finale,
00:51:18 I don't even know.
00:51:19 - You don't look at the screen?
00:51:19 - No, I don't look at the screen.
00:51:20 - You don't ever look at the screen?
00:51:21 Or when Netflix says like,
00:51:22 you're moving on to the next season.
00:51:24 Like when season one ended,
00:51:26 Netflix, the screen pops up and it's like,
00:51:29 time to move on to the next season.
00:51:30 - I don't think it says that.
00:51:31 - It definitely does.
00:51:33 - It just goes.
00:51:34 And I was like, oh look at Mike,
00:51:36 he has a whole new haircut.
00:51:37 - That's pretty much how you can tell
00:51:40 the seasons are changing.
00:51:40 - Yeah.
00:51:41 - Especially with friends.
00:51:42 - I just have to say, hate it.
00:51:44 Hate Mike's haircut.
00:51:45 I don't know, it's like the end of season,
00:51:47 or start of season five I guess.
00:51:49 It's like he's trying to do a Harvey now.
00:51:51 It's like slick back, I don't like it.
00:51:54 It's not you.
00:51:56 - Sorry to Mike and his haircut.
00:51:57 - Mike's pretending he's not.
00:51:58 - We have these great t-shirts on sale now also.
00:52:00 - We do.
00:52:00 - They're sitting right there.
00:52:01 - The Louis lit t-shirts.
00:52:02 - Yep.
00:52:03 Sarah can you toss me one?
00:52:05 Yeah, thank you.
00:52:06 You can buy them on the Barstool Sports store.
00:52:10 But here they are.
00:52:11 - There they are.
00:52:13 - It's a very funny shirt.
00:52:14 It says, you just got lit up.
00:52:17 - Yeah, I'm gonna give that to my dad when I go home.
00:52:19 - Oh, he's gonna love this.
00:52:20 - Yeah, he's gonna love it so much.
00:52:21 - Is he a Louis guy?
00:52:22 - Yeah.
00:52:23 - Well he like has a hate love relationship with him.
00:52:24 - Yeah, I mean, exactly, you have to.
00:52:26 - Yeah.
00:52:27 - Yeah.
00:52:28 - He brings some comedic energy as well, you know.
00:52:31 - Yeah.
00:52:32 - I, and that's,
00:52:33 that's everything I watched this week.
00:52:38 I don't think I'm missing anything.
00:52:40 - I don't have much.
00:52:42 I watched, I'm just watching Suits a lot.
00:52:45 I'm on season five now.
00:52:47 And it actually is like,
00:52:50 I'm enjoying this, the last like 10 episodes
00:52:53 way more than I was for like the last couple seasons.
00:52:56 I don't wanna spoil anything,
00:52:57 but there's some like big developments.
00:52:58 - Yeah, don't spoil it.
00:53:00 - Yeah, don't spoil it, I'm locked in.
00:53:02 I just finished season one.
00:53:03 - Now I'm like itching to get back into it.
00:53:05 - How do you feel about Donna, by the way?
00:53:06 I mean, it depends where you are, but,
00:53:08 like where you are in the show, but.
00:53:10 - I have no issues with Donna.
00:53:11 - Yeah, Donna or Rachel?
00:53:13 - I like them both.
00:53:16 I, they're so--
00:53:16 - How dare you pit two women against each other?
00:53:18 - No, no, I mean, I just don't have a preference on them.
00:53:21 - Yeah.
00:53:22 - Because they're both--
00:53:23 - And they do different things.
00:53:24 - Yeah, they like sometimes interact,
00:53:25 but like, you know what I mean?
00:53:27 From what I've seen, like.
00:53:28 - Rachel's kind of like starting to annoy me more
00:53:30 as the show goes on.
00:53:31 I'll give it a, I'll just keep, I'll give it a B.
00:53:36 I'll give it a B plus.
00:53:37 And then I just watched this movie,
00:53:41 this Vince Vaughn movie called "Brawl in Cell Block 99."
00:53:44 Not sure if you guys have heard of that.
00:53:47 - Nope. - No.
00:53:48 Nope.
00:53:50 - So remember when I told you,
00:53:51 I think it was on "Because We Got High"
00:53:52 to watch the movie "Shot Caller."
00:53:55 - Yes, yes. - And you never did.
00:53:56 - With Jamie Lannister.
00:53:57 - Yeah. - Yeah, no I didn't.
00:53:59 - And it's about like how a normal person can
00:54:02 basically go into prison and like he transforms.
00:54:07 It's very similar to that movie.
00:54:10 - But not as good.
00:54:11 - This one's not as good.
00:54:13 It's a different, this one's just like way more unrealistic.
00:54:16 And Vince Vaughn's like already kind of a criminal.
00:54:18 And then he goes in and yeah, it's just very unreal.
00:54:21 I mean, he's like, he's like killing
00:54:24 and beating up everyone in prison.
00:54:26 But it's honestly, it's a good watch.
00:54:28 I enjoyed it very much.
00:54:29 I'll give it a B plus.
00:54:32 It was a solid movie, I would recommend.
00:54:34 But yeah, you still, everyone still should watch
00:54:37 "Shot Caller" by the way.
00:54:38 Great movie, great movie.
00:54:41 - Maybe this weekend, maybe.
00:54:42 Honestly, maybe. - I don't think you will.
00:54:44 I think it'll scare you.
00:54:45 - Let me be scared then.
00:54:48 (laughing)
00:54:50 - But yeah, that's all I have.
00:54:51 I feel like I've been slacking lately.
00:54:53 - Oh damn, yeah, you have been.
00:54:54 Not a lot of random movies during the night.
00:54:56 - Yeah, that's-- - I guess I'm just so cool now
00:54:58 in my real life that I don't have time for--
00:55:00 - Right, he doesn't have time
00:55:01 to watch all these random movies.
00:55:02 - Once he dyed his hair, he stopped watching bad movies.
00:55:04 - Yeah, that's exactly what happened.
00:55:08 All right, those are the things we watched this week.
00:55:10 - Update on, I texted Joe,
00:55:14 how often do you think about the Roman Empire?
00:55:16 He said, "Why are you also asking me this?"
00:55:18 And then he said, "All the time."
00:55:20 - He said all the time? - What?
00:55:23 - Yeah, but he's like, he says stoicism is built
00:55:26 on the ideas of the Roman emperors.
00:55:28 Like he reads like the "Daily Stoic" like every day.
00:55:31 And he has the book and that's just, that's very Joe.
00:55:34 So I guess that checks out.
00:55:36 - I'm kind of shocked.
00:55:38 - But if he's reading a book, that's awesome.
00:55:41 - I guess that, like if he's--
00:55:41 - I'm also like, who else is asking him this?
00:55:43 - Right, he said, "Why are you also asking me this?"
00:55:45 - Who's asking you this?
00:55:46 - Yeah, who also asked him that?
00:55:48 That would have been the first.
00:55:49 Maybe somebody at work.
00:55:53 That is more like if he's reading something
00:55:59 that has to do with it, then yeah.
00:56:01 Then yeah, I guess that makes sense.
00:56:03 But like I'm saying, are all of these guys
00:56:06 reading something that has to do with the Roman Empire?
00:56:09 - Definitely not. - Definitely not.
00:56:11 I'm onto them.
00:56:13 But we'll accept that answer from Joe.
00:56:15 All right.
00:56:16 All right, we have a great interview coming up
00:56:19 and it's time to crack open a nice cold Coors Light.
00:56:22 You can see the mountains are blue.
00:56:25 This is crisp and cold
00:56:27 because fall is right around the corner, guys.
00:56:30 But fall does not have to be the buzzkill
00:56:33 to your summer chill.
00:56:34 Coors Light helps you find moments to unwind.
00:56:36 Maybe you have a big work presentation.
00:56:39 Follow it up with a happy hour,
00:56:40 some friends, and a cold Coors Light.
00:56:42 Decompress with a relaxing day on the trail
00:56:45 that ends with a well-earned Coors Light.
00:56:48 Whenever you need to hit reset,
00:56:50 reach for a Coors Light, it's made to chill.
00:56:53 There's only one beer out there
00:56:54 that's literally made to chill and it's Coors Light.
00:56:56 Like I said, the mountains on the bottles and cans
00:56:58 even turn blue when your beer is cold, ready to go.
00:57:01 That way you always know when it's time to chill.
00:57:03 So when you need to hit reset, just open a Coors Light.
00:57:06 It's a mountain cold refreshment made to chill.
00:57:08 It's fall times right around the corner.
00:57:09 Maybe there's a crisp little breeze,
00:57:11 crack open a Coors Light at home.
00:57:13 Or it's a football Sunday, you're sitting at home,
00:57:17 you got your Coors Light in the fridge,
00:57:18 or you're headed to the bar.
00:57:19 You're getting Coors Light at the bar
00:57:21 while you're watching the games.
00:57:23 Coors Light is the one we choose when we need to unwind.
00:57:25 So when you wanna hit reset,
00:57:27 reach for the beer that's made to chill.
00:57:29 Get Coors Light delivered straight to your door
00:57:30 with Drizzly or Instacart
00:57:32 by going to coorslight.com/chicks
00:57:34 and always sell a bit responsibly
00:57:35 from Coors Brewing Company, Golden, Colorado.
00:57:38 All right, everyone, we are here with two very special guests
00:57:42 we are joined by the lovely Christy Carlson Romano
00:57:45 and Annalise Vanderpoel.
00:57:47 They're here to talk about their new podcast,
00:57:50 Big Name Bitches, which I now understand
00:57:53 is because you guys have long names.
00:57:57 - After saying the names, right?
00:57:59 - Well, before we started, I was like,
00:58:01 you know, both of them have long names.
00:58:04 And Fran was like, yeah, Big Name Bitches.
00:58:06 She was like, okay, yeah.
00:58:11 - Now it makes sense.
00:58:12 - Totally get it.
00:58:14 But you guys look fantastic.
00:58:15 You guys look beautiful.
00:58:17 I love the setup right now.
00:58:18 Oh, thanks.
00:58:19 - Thank you.
00:58:20 - Thank you guys so much for joining us.
00:58:21 We're so excited to talk to you guys.
00:58:23 - I was jealous that we had another podco group
00:58:26 come through you guys with the Wizards pod.
00:58:30 And I was like, no, no, we have to get them on.
00:58:33 And so I totally bought your merch
00:58:35 and tagged you in your socials.
00:58:37 - Aw.
00:58:38 - Now we're on, we've manifested it.
00:58:41 - We were gonna have you on
00:58:42 regardless if you bought our merch or not.
00:58:45 It was Kim Possible merch, I will say.
00:58:48 - Yes.
00:58:50 - I had to do it.
00:58:51 - No, it was very cool to see that
00:58:56 because that's also how we connected
00:58:58 with the Wizards pod also.
00:58:59 They were like, oh my God, the same kind of,
00:59:02 they saw the merch.
00:59:02 - Merch?
00:59:03 - The merch, yeah, yeah.
00:59:04 - And we told the story at first
00:59:05 when David reached out to us,
00:59:08 we were like, oh fuck,
00:59:09 are we about to get sued for these shirts?
00:59:11 And he was like, no, I just want one.
00:59:13 Like he was like, I want shirts.
00:59:15 - Well, I think y'all were smart
00:59:17 with the way that you titled it.
00:59:18 Do you guys go through Fanjoy too?
00:59:20 Do you guys use Fanjoy?
00:59:21 - Yeah, we have all, it's all in-house.
00:59:24 - That's so cool.
00:59:25 - Oh yeah, with Barstool.
00:59:26 - You guys are, yeah, Barstool's very cool.
00:59:28 - Yeah, they're very cool.
00:59:29 - Well guys, thanks for jumping on.
00:59:32 You just have a new podcast that came out
00:59:34 in the last month or so, which is super exciting.
00:59:37 Last couple of weeks, end of August.
00:59:39 Jumping right into it, like, well,
00:59:42 Christy, you kind of feel like you're,
00:59:45 I feel like you've become a podcast queen now.
00:59:47 Like you're just like, exactly.
00:59:49 You have all these little--
00:59:50 - I'm a mama.
00:59:51 - A podcast mother.
00:59:52 - Right, you have all these, you know,
00:59:53 podcast network and now your own podcast.
00:59:55 How did you guys come together
00:59:57 for specifically this podcast?
00:59:59 Yes.
01:00:00 - Okay, fantastic.
01:00:02 Look at them with their directed questions.
01:00:03 We are literally like squirrel.
01:00:05 (laughing)
01:00:06 You guys are, you're mentoring us right now.
01:00:08 Just so you know.
01:00:09 Look, I mean, I think it was such a gift.
01:00:13 Social media in general, new media in general,
01:00:16 it's very different than, you know, traditional media.
01:00:21 And so when I like delved into it,
01:00:23 I want to say like, oh my God,
01:00:24 like eight or nine years ago now,
01:00:26 I never saw myself, you know,
01:00:28 having podcasts for other folks, certainly.
01:00:31 And I didn't even know what a podcast was.
01:00:33 So it was my husband and CEO of Podco who was like,
01:00:37 yeah, podcasts are the future.
01:00:39 And I was like, for real?
01:00:41 And then I did a little bit more digging.
01:00:42 I was like, okay, so I could actually stop
01:00:45 walking in the woods on YouTube
01:00:47 and talking about my deepest traumas.
01:00:49 (laughing)
01:00:50 - Those were great videos though.
01:00:51 I love those.
01:00:52 - They were pretty viral.
01:00:54 - Come on.
01:00:55 - Yeah, so basically it's been great.
01:00:58 And then like also just like ringing up my friends
01:01:00 who I know are super interesting
01:01:02 and even getting closer with folks that like,
01:01:04 you know, Annalise and I didn't get to be close.
01:01:07 We were like, what'd you say?
01:01:09 We were parallel.
01:01:10 - We had parallel paths, parallel careers.
01:01:12 Yeah, we were kind of doing the same work.
01:01:13 So we were playing the same characters so often.
01:01:16 We were both in Beauty and the Beast.
01:01:17 - On Broadway.
01:01:18 - Yeah.
01:01:19 - And Broadway.
01:01:20 - I should, I'm just kidding.
01:01:22 - Start singing.
01:01:23 - I'm gonna start singing right now.
01:01:24 - Not that there's anything wrong with community theater,
01:01:26 but yeah.
01:01:28 - And we just were on the Disney channel
01:01:29 and like, I don't know, we were sort of always,
01:01:31 I wouldn't say like the right kind of jealousy
01:01:34 and envy of each other.
01:01:36 Like, oh, I really want to know that girl,
01:01:37 but I can't know her.
01:01:38 - Or the right kind of, I like that.
01:01:39 - The right kind, yeah, yeah.
01:01:41 Like, you know that like, oh, I wish it was in her life,
01:01:43 but I kind of hate her 'cause of it,
01:01:44 but I kind of hate her 'cause I really want to know her.
01:01:46 - I kind of love that.
01:01:47 - Like how many people do we have in our lives like that?
01:01:49 Like, you know what I'm saying?
01:01:50 - Definitely.
01:01:52 - So we wanted to be friends.
01:01:54 And then I did her podcast, I did Vulnerable,
01:01:57 and it just went off so well.
01:01:59 And we just wanted to keep going
01:02:01 and just have a fun podcast together.
01:02:04 - Yes. - That's it.
01:02:05 - 100%.
01:02:06 - Yeah, she's regretting every day of it.
01:02:07 - Every day, y'all.
01:02:08 I mean, do you regret it?
01:02:10 Do you both regret working with each other?
01:02:10 - Yeah, how do you guys do it?
01:02:12 - How?
01:02:13 - Oh, we've been doing it for a long time.
01:02:14 - We've just been doing it for so long.
01:02:15 You know, I actually thought about that yesterday.
01:02:17 I was like, man, like, good for us.
01:02:20 You know, like just the fact that like it's-
01:02:22 - Stuck together.
01:02:22 - We're stuck together for this many years
01:02:25 and like not everyone can say that
01:02:27 because people butt heads when they work together.
01:02:29 And that doesn't really help.
01:02:30 - You know that, don't we ladies?
01:02:32 - You just push through like the early stages
01:02:35 when you're like, oh, if there's ever any clash,
01:02:38 you just kind of push through it.
01:02:39 Then when you get past that point,
01:02:41 female friendship becomes like sisterhood
01:02:44 and you let the little things go.
01:02:48 - Totally. - And then it's-
01:02:49 - That's Christy's, yeah.
01:02:50 - Cohesive, I think.
01:02:52 - It's interesting.
01:02:53 - That's very interesting.
01:02:54 - We're talking about female friendship.
01:02:55 I've had some friend breakups in the past
01:02:58 'cause I've been a really bad communicator in the past.
01:03:00 So now I think Annalisa can attest that I'm like,
01:03:03 I try really hard to communicate at every turn.
01:03:06 I'm like, are you okay?
01:03:07 - Yes.
01:03:08 - How are you feeling?
01:03:09 'Cause like, I just can't go through another friend breakup.
01:03:11 Like it was really hard.
01:03:12 - I know.
01:03:13 - After we filmed some episodes yesterday
01:03:15 and I was like telling her, you know,
01:03:17 what my concerns and what I thought went well,
01:03:20 my micro and my macro notes.
01:03:22 And she was like, okay, well, are you okay?
01:03:24 And I was like, yeah, I think so.
01:03:25 She's like, are you sure?
01:03:26 I was like, yeah, yeah.
01:03:26 And she's like, are you sure?
01:03:27 And I was like, well, no, I'm not, girl.
01:03:29 I'm like, I don't know, should I be?
01:03:31 But I think she was just being a mama.
01:03:33 - Yes, that's the thing.
01:03:34 It's like, are you a friend or are you like maternal?
01:03:36 And so I get those wires crossed.
01:03:38 And yes, like I think like with creating all those pods,
01:03:42 like for me, a part of that felt like
01:03:44 I was growing my family.
01:03:45 So that's how it feels.
01:03:46 - Right, and at that point you're like, I was okay,
01:03:49 but now you've asked me so many times
01:03:50 that I feel like maybe I shouldn't be.
01:03:52 Like, are you telling me that I said something wrong?
01:03:53 - Yeah, no, you shouldn't be.
01:03:54 You should be very nervous.
01:03:55 - I know, she's like, and then I was like,
01:03:57 I could also be confusing.
01:03:58 I mean, we're not fixed properties, right?
01:04:00 We can change our minds.
01:04:01 We change our minds all the time.
01:04:02 Like starting this podcast, I'm learning a lot.
01:04:04 Like what can I talk about?
01:04:06 You know, you can be, I mean, you,
01:04:09 both of you must have such experience with this.
01:04:11 Like, you know, starting a podcast
01:04:13 and just being concerned always about being canceled.
01:04:16 And it's like, well, I'm a good person.
01:04:17 How could I be canceled?
01:04:18 But every little tidbit, every word is being,
01:04:21 you know, is on a microscope and dissected.
01:04:26 And of course, if a little snippet of it
01:04:28 is taken out of context, you know,
01:04:29 then you're really screwed.
01:04:30 Can I say screwed?
01:04:31 I mean, you guys, I'm freaking out.
01:04:33 - No, I'm just kidding.
01:04:33 I'm just kidding.
01:04:34 - But it's different.
01:04:36 - Yeah, it is different.
01:04:37 It's different because you guys lived,
01:04:39 you lived that life.
01:04:41 So the stories are from your own firsthand experience
01:04:45 and you've seen things and you've heard things,
01:04:48 which is what people are always so interested in.
01:04:50 We live on the outside of it.
01:04:52 So we team up with the people who like to speculate
01:04:56 on other things because we don't have the firsthand stories
01:05:01 to share where it's like, ooh, if we share,
01:05:03 if we tell this story,
01:05:04 is this gonna put us in a tough spot?
01:05:06 It's more like, hey, is somebody in our personal life
01:05:08 gonna get mad at us if we share something
01:05:10 that we shouldn't?
01:05:11 - Yeah.
01:05:12 - Yeah.
01:05:13 - That too, we were talking the other day
01:05:15 about, no, no, no.
01:05:16 We were just talking the other day about
01:05:19 just like our first time, being young.
01:05:22 And I was just like, I started to tell the story
01:05:24 and I was like, oh, my dad might be listening.
01:05:26 Like this is really, you know what I'm saying?
01:05:29 It's crazy.
01:05:30 So, but then it's also thinking like,
01:05:31 wait, I've done nothing wrong.
01:05:33 I should be able to tell the story.
01:05:34 And also I wanna be an open book,
01:05:36 but I don't know, I'm really figuring it out.
01:05:38 You know, when I'm under the helm of Christie
01:05:41 and it's, and a female,
01:05:44 sometimes I wonder for you ladies,
01:05:45 what it's like with Barstool Sports
01:05:47 under sort of male leadership.
01:05:49 - Barstool, I didn't realize it initially,
01:05:50 but it does have a female creator, right?
01:05:53 Like your founder is a female.
01:05:54 - Our founder is male.
01:05:56 - But our CEO is female.
01:05:59 - I mean, we're really like allowed to say
01:06:01 and do whatever we want.
01:06:02 It's kind of just up to us.
01:06:04 Everyone can really be themselves.
01:06:05 - We're self-orchestrated and our show is our show.
01:06:08 So we can kind of run our show
01:06:11 the way we want to run our show,
01:06:13 which is fantastic.
01:06:16 - Yeah.
01:06:17 - Yeah.
01:06:18 - Totally, totally.
01:06:19 - It's the same kind of thing.
01:06:20 Like, you know, Christie, I'm sure you're,
01:06:23 you guys are running all these other podcasts,
01:06:26 but you want them to creatively do whatever they wanna do.
01:06:29 - Well, we just sat down with our NEDS folks.
01:06:32 They came on and the chaos was wild.
01:06:35 Y'all need to have that NEDS to classified people, please.
01:06:37 Have them on your show.
01:06:39 They are chaos and a good time all the time.
01:06:42 I mean, we were talking about how Lindsay Shaw
01:06:44 like has consented to getting dick pics
01:06:47 and I'll let you tell her about it, but yeah, it's wild.
01:06:51 Like they are a different kind of chaos.
01:06:53 And like our chaos of big name bitches is really,
01:06:56 we drink mocktails, which I thought was really fun
01:06:58 to kind of introduce people and interactive element.
01:07:01 People started asking after our first couple episodes,
01:07:04 like, hey, we want these recipes for these mocktails.
01:07:06 And, you know, us being alcoholics
01:07:08 is just a part of our story.
01:07:10 And it kind of like is very inclusive
01:07:12 to anyone who wants to come and listen
01:07:14 and know that like we've been through some shit,
01:07:16 but like here we are with each other
01:07:18 kind of laughing and being joyful.
01:07:20 And like, that's the takeaway, I guess, with our pod,
01:07:22 you know? - And getting
01:07:23 to the other side and yeah, being women now,
01:07:26 not young girls and yeah.
01:07:28 - Yeah, so if you're saying you guys didn't really know
01:07:31 each other through those early dizzy days,
01:07:35 at what point did you like reconnect
01:07:38 and have these conversations?
01:07:39 Was it when you were doing podcasts?
01:07:41 Not this podcast, but other ones?
01:07:44 - Well, Brendan knew after,
01:07:46 so she did my YouTube cooking show.
01:07:48 - Okay. - That's right.
01:07:49 - Yeah, and then Brendan, my husband's CEO guy,
01:07:52 CEO guy, dude.
01:07:53 (all laughing)
01:07:54 - Yeah. - I know, that guy.
01:07:55 - Man. - Brendan Rooney.
01:07:55 - Brendan Rooney, he's not here, I miss him.
01:07:58 But he was like, you and Annalisa need to do something.
01:08:01 I don't know what it is, but you have something.
01:08:03 And I was like, oh, stop it, she doesn't like me like that.
01:08:05 It was. (all laughing)
01:08:07 - Well, not like that, but she's not like me.
01:08:09 - She's not like that.
01:08:10 - Like what?
01:08:10 - She's not gonna commit to me doing something.
01:08:13 (all laughing)
01:08:15 - That's our thumbnail.
01:08:16 - Yes, I do, I love it.
01:08:17 - I love it.
01:08:17 So I was shy about her, and I thought she was really cool.
01:08:21 And then basically when she came on Vulnerable,
01:08:24 she was just in such a great place,
01:08:25 and Brendan really, he just happened to be there.
01:08:27 - Yeah. - We have two kids in Austin,
01:08:29 we live, and so it's like, we're never in the same place.
01:08:32 But he just happened to be there,
01:08:33 and he was like, you know what, Annalisa, let's talk.
01:08:35 And that's where it kinda came up.
01:08:37 - Yeah, it was just those things
01:08:38 where we couldn't stop talking.
01:08:39 And isn't that the number one thing for a podcast?
01:08:41 You know? - Yes, definitely is.
01:08:43 - There was a lot that wasn't said.
01:08:46 There was a lot that wasn't said, yeah.
01:08:47 It's so funny, there were no ums even,
01:08:50 hums or hims or has or ums.
01:08:51 I mean, now we've got a couple ums.
01:08:54 Now we've run through the hammock.
01:08:55 Now we're searching for things to happen.
01:08:57 - Can you guys teach us, like,
01:08:58 what's the key to sustaining?
01:09:01 How do you guys do it?
01:09:02 Even with all the haters out there and all the bullshit.
01:09:04 - Yeah. - All the noise.
01:09:05 - I mean, I think it's just about being consistent,
01:09:07 and then I think the fact that we have
01:09:12 a very strong fan base that we wanna continue
01:09:14 to show up for, and they support us all the time.
01:09:17 And as many people that can give hate and say whatever,
01:09:21 there are the people that enjoy listening to us,
01:09:23 and I think that we just wanna entertain them.
01:09:25 And I think-- - Uh-huh.
01:09:26 - See, that's where it is. - And we genuinely
01:09:28 enjoy doing it, and it's our jobs.
01:09:31 But I just love the fact that I get to entertain people,
01:09:36 and they genuinely wanna hear from us.
01:09:39 - Right. - Of course.
01:09:40 - So then how do you guys show up for them?
01:09:43 Like, is it just that you ask the questions
01:09:45 that you know they wanna ask, kinda thing?
01:09:48 - I think it's more just like we,
01:09:50 when we started off, we knew that it was gonna be
01:09:53 like a pop culture-based show,
01:09:55 and we were just two people who loved talking
01:09:57 about pop culture, and there, I mean,
01:10:01 when we started, I guess, like,
01:10:03 podcasts really did pick up.
01:10:04 We started this in 2017.
01:10:05 They were picking up at that time.
01:10:07 But still, a lot of pop culture and celebrity news
01:10:10 and all of that was reported, very news-based,
01:10:13 you know, like E! News, straight to the point.
01:10:16 And I think what resonated with people
01:10:18 was the fact that we just talk about pop culture
01:10:20 like you would talk about it with your friends offline,
01:10:23 like, you know, texting or just in a regular conversation.
01:10:26 And so I think-- - Yeah, it's an authenticity.
01:10:29 - Right, and it's just like, just starting off that way,
01:10:32 that's how people got to know us,
01:10:33 and then continuing to stay true to that
01:10:36 and just always do that and just talk about pop culture
01:10:38 and then also talk about our lives
01:10:40 'cause people get to know us through talking
01:10:42 about pop culture and then they want to get to know
01:10:44 about you and it's just fun.
01:10:46 - And honesty, you know, we do three episodes a week,
01:10:48 so there are days where we come in
01:10:51 and you just have to be honest.
01:10:54 Everyone can tell if you're having a down day
01:10:58 or if maybe you're not feeling it,
01:10:59 but to put that forward and say, you know what,
01:11:02 guys, I know some people who are listening to this
01:11:05 can relate to this, just not having that day.
01:11:08 Today is just not the day.
01:11:09 - And I think a lot of people can relate to that
01:11:11 where they listen and they're like, you know what,
01:11:13 me fucking too, like I'm also not feeling well
01:11:16 or I'm tired or I'm in a bad mood.
01:11:18 Or you're having a great day where you're excited
01:11:21 and like Fran said, it's just about being honest
01:11:23 and authentic and then people can relate to that.
01:11:26 - I like that. - Yeah.
01:11:29 - Like speak on your truth,
01:11:31 but in a way that's kind of joyful
01:11:33 so you don't lose your audience.
01:11:35 - Exactly, right?
01:11:36 - I know, I know.
01:11:37 - It's so cheesy, but it's really like just be,
01:11:39 like people can tell when you're not being yourself,
01:11:42 I think, like I think people can really--
01:11:43 - And authentic. - Yeah, I think people can--
01:11:45 - It's like a human experience.
01:11:47 - People can pick up when someone's being themselves
01:11:50 and it's like, you guys just be yourself
01:11:51 and people love you guys.
01:11:53 And I also think what's so interesting for you two
01:11:56 is that, you know, you mentioned that
01:11:58 you guys live this parallel lives and paths
01:12:01 and you knew of each other, but like a little jealousy
01:12:05 and now you guys are doing this show.
01:12:07 There are so many stories that you probably both have
01:12:10 that you have told before, but each other has not heard.
01:12:13 So I think that's really cool
01:12:14 that you guys can be telling each other stories.
01:12:17 And it's the first time that other people are hearing it
01:12:19 and you're also getting the genuine reaction
01:12:21 from the other person as well.
01:12:23 - Yeah, that's true. - Yeah, yeah.
01:12:25 We've definitely, we've started doing that
01:12:26 and I think we could do that more.
01:12:28 It's so interesting.
01:12:29 It's so hard though.
01:12:30 You start telling a story and then like,
01:12:33 oh my gosh, remember when we were doing Beauty and the Beast?
01:12:34 Oh my God, who was your beast?
01:12:35 Oh, this guy who was terrible.
01:12:37 And it's like, oh.
01:12:38 - Stuck his tongue down my throat.
01:12:39 - Oh no, like, okay, oh, and then we said his name
01:12:42 and was he terrible to me and am I still working with him?
01:12:45 And you know what I mean?
01:12:46 It's really hard, but again,
01:12:49 you just have to speak your truth
01:12:50 and then truly nobody, nobody, no job, no money,
01:12:54 no person can say to you,
01:12:56 if you know you're speaking your truth and a good person,
01:12:59 I mean, yes, money makes the world go round
01:13:01 and we all want jobs and podcasts and to work for Disney.
01:13:03 I mean, I still work for Disney, you know?
01:13:06 So I don't know, it's interesting.
01:13:08 It's a fine line.
01:13:09 - She's navigating it.
01:13:10 - I'm not navigating it.
01:13:12 - But she's in good hands kind of thing, you know?
01:13:14 It's like, I've been doing this for a while
01:13:15 and she's just killing it.
01:13:17 - Thank you. - You're welcome.
01:13:18 - What is that dynamic like,
01:13:20 like you still working for Disney,
01:13:22 but you wanna tell stories about being on Disney?
01:13:25 - It's really, really, really hard.
01:13:29 It's really hard.
01:13:30 It's eye-opening, it's sad, it's depressing.
01:13:35 It's hard to even, you know,
01:13:40 we did this podcast 'cause we wanted to have fun,
01:13:42 but we, and also she's doing vulnerable
01:13:43 and she wanted a departure from that.
01:13:45 She was coming home really quite depressed
01:13:46 all the time from doing it, not all the time, but often.
01:13:48 - Yeah, yeah. - I mean, it's serious stuff.
01:13:50 - Yeah. - But it's so funny.
01:13:51 It's like, no one's, you know, we're multifaceted.
01:13:54 We have different feelings all the time
01:13:55 and we're gonna have bad days, like you said,
01:13:59 we're honest days, days where I'm around a period,
01:14:00 days where- - I'm on my period right now.
01:14:03 - Yeah. (all laughing)
01:14:04 - You're welcome.
01:14:05 That exclusive. (all laughing)
01:14:08 I think I'm getting mine soon.
01:14:10 - Great, we're gonna sync up on that.
01:14:11 - Yeah, of course, of course.
01:14:12 - Which is so cool, I love how women sync up, I love that.
01:14:16 - The coolest shit.
01:14:17 - It's actually insane how much that works.
01:14:20 It blows my mind.
01:14:22 - It's your underarm pheromones that makes you sync up.
01:14:26 - Really? - That's so, yeah.
01:14:27 And it's tribal so that everyone would like, you know,
01:14:30 be able to raise their kids at the same time or some shit.
01:14:32 Like, I don't know, it's really wild, it's very cool.
01:14:34 - Interesting, like, yeah, it takes a village.
01:14:36 It takes a village. (all laughing)
01:14:37 - It really, truly, I wish I had a fucking village.
01:14:39 - Yeah. - But yeah.
01:14:40 - But anyway, it's hard. - By the way,
01:14:42 there's always been chats and talks
01:14:44 about Kim Possible coming back.
01:14:46 So in the back of my mind, I'm always like trying
01:14:48 to negotiate how I feel about Disney as well.
01:14:51 And what I will say is that, at least on my end
01:14:54 and the times that we've talked about it on the pod,
01:14:56 it's always been through a very neutral lens
01:14:59 where it's like, look, we have had experiences
01:15:02 that are unrelated to the big D, oh God.
01:15:05 (all laughing)
01:15:06 To the big D. - Yeah.
01:15:08 - But the truth is, is like, it might have been a time
01:15:12 that was related to the big D, but at the same time,
01:15:14 it's like, we're independent of them too.
01:15:16 Like our human experience, I think,
01:15:17 usurps the politicization or the politicizing
01:15:21 of the company, right? - Yeah.
01:15:23 - When she said it's like, it's not always just
01:15:25 about the big D and like making that the search title,
01:15:28 although we do use it a lot.
01:15:30 - Dude, are you talking about Disney?
01:15:31 - The big D. - Okay, honestly.
01:15:33 I feel like we should call it like that.
01:15:35 (all laughing)
01:15:36 - It's like, I don't, either way, this is working.
01:15:38 I don't know if this conversation makes sense.
01:15:39 - It really does, it tracks both ways.
01:15:42 - But also too, I personally really do believe
01:15:44 in Disney magic and like, when I see her,
01:15:46 like she just did a cruise ship.
01:15:47 She did Disney cruises with Disney princesses.
01:15:49 It's so beautiful to see her perform
01:15:52 and to either be like, you know,
01:15:53 like singing her beautiful songs and she'll post about it.
01:15:56 And I'm just like, go, I'm like Lightning McQueen,
01:15:59 I wanna be a princess. - You're so sweet.
01:16:01 - So it's still very much a part of who we are.
01:16:03 Like we can't walk away from it completely.
01:16:04 - But it is hard and like, there's some editing.
01:16:06 We, you know, we filmed such an episode yesterday
01:16:08 and we'll be doing some editing, I mean,
01:16:11 which is like- - You control the narrative.
01:16:13 - Yeah, we control the narrative, but it is crazy.
01:16:15 It is like, and then also people saying, you know,
01:16:19 like that's why I wanted to ask you ladies,
01:16:21 like people saying that one thing,
01:16:24 like who do you listen to?
01:16:25 A lot of people said we're bitter and it's like,
01:16:28 I'm allowed to be bitter.
01:16:28 I'm 40 years old, I'm bitter about a lot of things.
01:16:31 And I'm not just bitter about myself
01:16:32 and, you know, egotistical things.
01:16:34 I'm bitter about global warming
01:16:35 and what the world's coming to and loads of things.
01:16:37 And I'm allowed to be, but not for too long.
01:16:40 (laughing)
01:16:41 - Listen, people have a lot to say all the time.
01:16:45 Everybody has an opinion on the internet.
01:16:48 Everybody has a comment.
01:16:49 It is nonstop.
01:16:51 At the end of the day, like,
01:16:54 and this is what I have to tell myself sometimes too.
01:16:57 There's a couple of things I have to tell myself,
01:16:58 but one of them is being like,
01:17:01 the comment that you see that like sticks with you all day,
01:17:04 that person is like commenting
01:17:06 and moving on with their life.
01:17:07 Like they commented that
01:17:08 and it took up one second of their day
01:17:10 and then they moved on with their lives
01:17:12 and they're enjoying their day
01:17:14 or they're not enjoying their day.
01:17:15 I don't know, probably not,
01:17:17 if they're like commenting mean things,
01:17:18 but--
01:17:20 - They're not thinking about the comment again.
01:17:21 - They're not thinking about you or that comment.
01:17:23 So it's like, why should I think about this all day long
01:17:27 when it didn't take up much of their day?
01:17:29 And that's just one thing that I think about.
01:17:30 I mean, obviously it's so much easier said than done
01:17:34 when people are like, don't listen to the comments,
01:17:36 like whatever.
01:17:36 Obviously you're gonna see feedback
01:17:40 and you want feedback on your show.
01:17:42 Like you're putting something out there.
01:17:44 But there's a difference between constructive criticism,
01:17:46 I think, and like people genuinely being mean.
01:17:49 And I think what you said is true.
01:17:50 Like you're allowed to be bitter about some things.
01:17:52 You're allowed to feel all kinds of emotions
01:17:55 on every single scale about different things in life.
01:17:58 - Yeah, like have you ever said publicly anything
01:18:02 about each other that you wish you hadn't said?
01:18:04 - No, I don't think so. - Probably not.
01:18:07 - Or like about someone--
01:18:09 - Say it to your face.
01:18:10 Like somebody you've worked with that you're like,
01:18:12 oh, I may not have should have said that.
01:18:13 - Yeah. - Yeah.
01:18:14 - Yeah.
01:18:15 (laughing)
01:18:17 - Maybe somebody-- - See how it does not
01:18:19 phrase it at all?
01:18:20 - Or maybe probably, like I would think somebody that we--
01:18:22 - Or somebody that we've like interviewed or had on--
01:18:25 - More common.
01:18:26 - Before or we've had where we've said something
01:18:30 about somebody and then they come on our show
01:18:33 and we're like, ooh, we've talked about you before
01:18:36 and we had this assumption.
01:18:39 And it's, you know, normally we're proven wrong
01:18:41 because everybody is normally very, very nice.
01:18:44 - Right, once you get to know people, then you get,
01:18:46 it's like, oh, now we're on a human level
01:18:48 and you stop like thinking about them a certain way
01:18:51 or they are exactly who you thought, it really depends.
01:18:53 But I like to like usually joke around if that happens.
01:18:57 There have been cases where we've talked
01:18:59 about somebody publicly and then they come on our show
01:19:01 and I will jokingly be like, I said this about you
01:19:04 because for me-- - Girl, it's content.
01:19:06 - That makes it more comfortable than just acting
01:19:08 like I know, and I also know our listeners know
01:19:11 what I said about them.
01:19:12 So like, I don't wanna be fake to our listeners
01:19:14 when they know what I've said and then they're like,
01:19:16 wait, you're interviewing this person
01:19:17 that you've said this about,
01:19:18 like it's better to just like lay it all out there.
01:19:21 And then like you said, like their response
01:19:23 is always gonna be content.
01:19:25 Like whatever they say, whether they hate us
01:19:28 or they like enjoy it.
01:19:30 But I have a question for you guys
01:19:32 because you know, Disney kind of sensitive
01:19:34 because you guys still have ties to it
01:19:37 and you wanna work with them.
01:19:38 But Nickelodeon, you know, you talked about the Neds people
01:19:42 and you've had people on your show--
01:19:46 - Talking about the two different experiences.
01:19:47 - Talking about the two different experiences.
01:19:49 And I find it so interesting, just Nickelodeon as a whole
01:19:54 and also the difference between kids being on Nickelodeon
01:20:00 and being on Disney.
01:20:03 - Why?
01:20:04 I actually had to ask, why do you find that interesting?
01:20:06 - Because I saw a clip--
01:20:08 - But don't test her, she's like, no, no, no.
01:20:10 - I saw a clip--
01:20:11 - It's just written on my cue card.
01:20:13 (all laughing)
01:20:15 - No, no writers, no writers here.
01:20:17 - No writers, I have to ask you this.
01:20:19 - We don't have writers either.
01:20:20 - Yeah.
01:20:21 - I'm just gonna make that very clear.
01:20:22 - Yes.
01:20:23 - Well, I--
01:20:24 - It's very more scary.
01:20:25 - We're joking 'cause I made a joke on our show today
01:20:26 where I was like, we were talking about the VMAs
01:20:28 and Fran was like, you know, the lack of writers
01:20:30 is showing like people don't know what to say
01:20:32 when they get on stage.
01:20:33 And I was like, yeah, you know, like I was like,
01:20:35 these people don't know how to make jokes themselves.
01:20:36 Like we don't have writers.
01:20:38 And Fran was like, you didn't need
01:20:39 to make that clarification.
01:20:40 Nobody thought this show had writers.
01:20:42 (all laughing)
01:20:43 - So, same, same.
01:20:45 - Like--
01:20:45 - Not only are we the writers, we're the,
01:20:47 I'm the art designer, director, housekeeper.
01:20:50 - Exactly.
01:20:51 - Drink maker, like you name it.
01:20:52 - Right, it's the best part about having a podcast.
01:20:54 - Yeah, very smart.
01:20:55 - But I saw a clip of you talking
01:20:58 and I'm blanking on who it was,
01:21:00 but you were talking about how like Disney kids
01:21:05 maybe like couldn't hang out with Nickelodeon kids.
01:21:08 And there were like weird--
01:21:11 - I actually don't know if Annalisa had the same experience
01:21:13 because I think like they started kind of like jumping over
01:21:16 to like different, like they would guest star
01:21:19 on certain like "Zoey 101s"
01:21:20 and then they would come back to their show on Disney.
01:21:23 So I think like the later kids,
01:21:26 but initially, you know, 'cause even Stevens
01:21:30 and stuff were like the OG content, okay?
01:21:34 Like before that round of stuff,
01:21:36 there was like no original programming.
01:21:37 There was, I don't know, like they had like
01:21:39 in sync concerts and shit, like in the parks.
01:21:42 And so like when we were coming up,
01:21:44 there was a very big friction between Nickelodeon
01:21:47 starting to do single camera stuff and Disney doing it.
01:21:52 So they were like, you know, very competitive off the bat,
01:21:56 which makes sense, you know?
01:21:57 I think there was like some competition there for sure
01:22:00 that kind of trickled down from the executives
01:22:03 down to the talent.
01:22:05 - Ain't it all the same?
01:22:07 - It's all the same.
01:22:09 I still get confused.
01:22:10 I don't even know.
01:22:11 I mean, honestly, Nickelodeon and Disney,
01:22:13 I mean, Disney Channel, it's the same thing.
01:22:15 I thought "Zoey 101" was on the Disney Channel
01:22:18 for a long time.
01:22:19 - Did you really?
01:22:20 - Yes, like Kyle Massey was on--
01:22:24 - Oh, his brother.
01:22:24 - His brother was on it.
01:22:25 - I was like, it's so cool that you guys are both
01:22:27 on the Disney Channel at the same time.
01:22:29 And he's like, "What are you talking about, girl?
01:22:30 "It's Nickelodeon."
01:22:31 I was like, "What?
01:22:31 "Did I come again?"
01:22:32 I didn't have cable growing up, you know what I mean?
01:22:35 Like, I don't know.
01:22:36 - I think we're kind of more in a bubble.
01:22:38 It does seem like the Nickelodeon kids
01:22:40 got to go to like the VMAs and like all--
01:22:41 - Oh, that's right.
01:22:43 - Because Viacom owns MTV and Nickelodeon.
01:22:45 So they kind of always were really smart about that synergy.
01:22:49 And they would like, not groom,
01:22:51 but they would like take the kids
01:22:52 and they would make them superstars.
01:22:54 Like, keep it calmer. - Nickelodeon was like
01:22:55 a little bit more edgy.
01:22:57 Like, it was like, they had like--
01:22:59 - Always edgy.
01:22:59 - Yeah, like you almost felt like they were gonna--
01:23:01 - The jokes were always a little riskier.
01:23:02 - Right, they were like a little dirty.
01:23:04 - Smarter, smarter.
01:23:05 - But guys, no.
01:23:06 - But also for not a good way.
01:23:07 So for like the best reasons.
01:23:08 - That's what I'm trying to say.
01:23:09 When we talk about the advocacy,
01:23:10 I do think that Nickelodeon had a lot less.
01:23:13 Here's the example I like to give.
01:23:15 With like Disney stuff and the Disney kids
01:23:20 and a lot of the ways that Disney kids were handled,
01:23:22 I feel like it was always like there was an adult
01:23:24 in the other room or an adult in the room.
01:23:26 Like there was adult somewhere,
01:23:28 there was some sort of supervision
01:23:30 and you had to answer to somebody.
01:23:32 Whereas I feel like with the Nickelodeon,
01:23:33 it was like, you had a really drunk uncle
01:23:36 that was like in the house
01:23:37 and like you could just throw the parties
01:23:39 or you could jump off the fucking roof.
01:23:40 Like, they are chaotic.
01:23:42 And I know this from the Ned's chaos.
01:23:45 They are just chaos versus like the wizard's cast,
01:23:48 who's like really buttoned up.
01:23:49 And like when they say something,
01:23:51 potentially problematic, they're like,
01:23:52 oh my God, like we can't have that.
01:23:54 They're very like, it's just different.
01:23:57 - Yeah, it's just different.
01:23:58 - Were you aware, like while you were on your show
01:24:01 and even after all of the stories
01:24:04 that people have now about Nickelodeon and-
01:24:06 - I was not.
01:24:07 - Dan Schneider.
01:24:08 - No, no, I was not.
01:24:09 I had no idea that was going on.
01:24:11 - Who's Dan Schneider?
01:24:12 - Don't worry about it.
01:24:13 - Yeah, he's an executive producer that fucked up a lot.
01:24:15 - It was not good.
01:24:16 Not a good guy, that's it.
01:24:18 - No.
01:24:19 - Yeah.
01:24:20 - Right.
01:24:20 - And now he's like, now he's,

01:36:46 - I really-- - I'm trying not
01:36:47 to pay an affraint.
01:36:48 - I love your dynamic, though, I have to say.
01:36:52 Like, you guys have a really fantastic dynamic.
01:36:53 - You guys do have a, I have a--
01:36:54 (laughing)
01:36:56 - No, I told you, please, we need that for the thumbnail.
01:36:58 - She works a lot, by the way, like, what is that?
01:37:01 - No, it's beautiful.
01:37:03 - Y'all need to sit closer together,
01:37:06 you're giving me anxiety.
01:37:07 - I know, I know, we used to sit way closer,
01:37:10 now we got these-- - Our studio's different now,
01:37:12 and these chairs are so big.
01:37:13 - We thought we'd be cool, like, you know,
01:37:15 all the cool podcasts have, like, these big, comfy chairs,
01:37:17 and they look comfy.
01:37:19 - Are you talking about Call Her Daddy?
01:37:20 - Yeah, like, they look-- - The chairs are fucking massive.
01:37:22 - They look comfy on video, and then you get them,
01:37:24 and then you sit, and you're like,
01:37:25 there's no comfortable way to sit in these.
01:37:27 - There's no comfortable way to sit in them.
01:37:28 - There's no, like, flattering way,
01:37:29 that you're, like, lounging. - It's not flattering
01:37:31 whatsoever, 'cause you're always, like--
01:37:32 - Guys, I love Call Her Daddy, I love Chicks in the Office,
01:37:35 I love Berner, Hannah Berner.
01:37:37 - Oh, you love Hannah Berner. - I love all the girlies,
01:37:39 I love you all, I think there's space for all of us,
01:37:41 all of us to be supporting each other.
01:37:43 But I gotta be honest, like, those chairs,
01:37:46 that Call Her Daddy has, look,
01:37:48 did you ever see that show growing up?
01:37:50 We're millennials, but, like--
01:37:51 - No, Big Comfy Couch. - It was, like, the big couch.
01:37:53 - Yeah, the big, comfy couch,
01:37:53 with the freaking, the clown, the lady with the little nose,
01:37:56 did you not see it?
01:37:57 I saw somebody do a Halloween outfit,
01:37:59 like, a hot Halloween outfit of that.
01:38:01 - With a couch attached to the body?
01:38:03 - No, it was the clown lady, and I was like,
01:38:05 now I wanna be that, like, sexy version of that.
01:38:07 - Oh, man. - It's a good costume.
01:38:08 - I digress, I digress.
01:38:09 - No, but yeah, these chairs suck, honestly.
01:38:11 They don't, like, they're, like,
01:38:13 for everything, there's, they're,
01:38:14 yeah, they look great, but there's no flattering way
01:38:16 to sit in them, because, like, a comfortable human being
01:38:19 would sit in these like this, right?
01:38:21 Like, like, sit back. - Oh, you need a pillow.
01:38:23 - Right, but, like, nobody, like,
01:38:25 if you're sitting like this, like, in any outfit,
01:38:27 besides a sweatshirt, is just not great.
01:38:30 - See, they're very good at keeping the mics
01:38:32 right up to their face.
01:38:33 - Yeah, you know, I do that to hide my double chin.
01:38:35 - Can I just be honest about these chairs, though?
01:38:37 Everyone's obsessed with these chairs.
01:38:40 Like, we have them, too.
01:38:41 Can you see?
01:38:41 - They're, they're, they're Buclay.
01:38:43 - Yeah, the Buclay. - But who started Buclay?
01:38:44 'Cause the Kardashians started it, right?
01:38:46 Like, everybody has a furry-ass couch in their homes now.
01:38:49 Everybody, everybody, every famous person,
01:38:51 I think it's 'cause of the Kardashians.
01:38:53 And truly, everybody has those neon signs.
01:38:55 They got the neon sign saying whatever, you know,
01:38:57 my, I went to school today, I've got a toilet or something.
01:39:00 It says something so random.
01:39:01 - Lint, laugh, love.
01:39:02 - Partying with me. - Yep, yep, totally.
01:39:04 - Exactly.
01:39:05 And, and we were talking about that,
01:39:07 and it's like, I kinda can't wait 'til this stuff goes out.
01:39:10 - What do you want? - I feel like it's all
01:39:11 a trend and a trend.
01:39:12 What do I want?
01:39:13 - All red, with couches. - You can do whatever you want.
01:39:14 - I love this.
01:39:14 (laughing)
01:39:15 - Yeah, we can do whatever we want.
01:39:16 It's just so funny, like, talking about that.
01:39:18 And then it's like, but you know,
01:39:19 that trend's gonna go, too,
01:39:20 and we're all gonna do something else.
01:39:21 It's smart to go with the trends.
01:39:22 That's what we have to do. - Pivot.
01:39:23 - We have to keep, keep it current.
01:39:25 But I just think it's so funny.
01:39:26 Everyone got obsessed with these.
01:39:27 What are they called? - Buclay.
01:39:29 - Yeah, but aren't they like,
01:39:30 they're like cloud chairs,
01:39:31 or they call them cloud chairs.
01:39:32 - Yeah, yeah, like a cloud couch, yeah.
01:39:34 - I actually do like the feeling of this one.
01:39:37 Like, if this was straight up fuzzy, I wouldn't like it.
01:39:39 Like, if it was like, actually like, you know.
01:39:41 - Like velvet, or, yeah.
01:39:43 - Ooh, I don't like, yeah.
01:39:43 - Yeah, it's just like, kinda like carpet material.
01:39:46 - Yep. - You know?
01:39:47 But, but it's nice.
01:39:48 - It's like sitting, but on the ground, but in a chair.
01:39:50 - Exactly, exactly.
01:39:51 And then everybody's got 'em, so.
01:39:53 - They must be, they must be great.
01:39:55 - I love it.
01:39:57 - Wait, so I had one,
01:39:58 oh, I had one other Disney thing
01:40:01 that I wanted to ask you guys,
01:40:02 because I think-- - Who?
01:40:03 - Yeah, what?
01:40:04 The big D, one last big D. - The big D!
01:40:06 - The final big D.
01:40:07 (all laughing)
01:40:08 - I love that.
01:40:09 - Sounds like a bachelorette trick hashtag.
01:40:13 - I know, exactly, exactly.
01:40:15 Was there a young Disney star
01:40:20 that you guys either met or interacted with
01:40:24 when they first started,
01:40:27 and now they've become big stars or whatever,
01:40:30 that you were like, "This person, they have it.
01:40:33 "They're gonna be incredible."
01:40:34 - I knew that with Shia, I totally knew that.
01:40:37 - Oh, really? - Oh, fuck yeah.
01:40:38 I knew Shia was gonna be a huge star.
01:40:40 - Did you know he was gonna be a huge--
01:40:42 - Yes, I also knew he was, I did, yeah.
01:40:44 I knew he was gonna be troubled
01:40:46 because of his upbringing, sadly,
01:40:50 you know what I'm saying?
01:40:50 - Right here in River City.
01:40:52 With a capital T, he's troubled, yeah, sorry.
01:40:55 - She had a crush on him.
01:40:56 - I did, I had such a crush.
01:40:57 - I mean, who didn't?
01:40:58 I feel like you.
01:40:59 - I know, he had a sexy face.
01:41:01 - Yeah, he was Jewish, and I'm a Jew,
01:41:03 and I was like, "Mom, he's Jewish.
01:41:05 "Mama, he's a Jew."
01:41:07 - I like the way you say Jewish.
01:41:10 - Jewish. - He's a Jewish girl.
01:41:12 - He celebrates the Judah-ism.
01:41:14 No, honestly, when we went to Tiger Cruise,
01:41:16 I was like, "Oh my God, he's such a--"
01:41:17 - Was he there? - Yes.
01:41:19 - Oh, God, I think that was one of the last times I saw him.
01:41:21 - Am I allowed to ask, did you kiss him ever?
01:41:24 - Did you kiss him?
01:41:25 - Oh my God, did you kiss him?
01:41:26 - Was it at my party?
01:41:27 - No, he was-- - Was it the week?
01:41:28 - He was already kind of,
01:41:29 I think kind of conceited then, already.
01:41:33 He was already up himself.
01:41:34 I had no shot, I felt so inferior at the time,
01:41:37 and now looking back on it, it's like, "Wow."
01:41:40 I mean, yeah.
01:41:41 - I mean, you guys, and there's all the Disney,
01:41:44 there's all the Disney Channel,
01:41:46 they loved putting everybody together for things,
01:41:48 like, to a certain point, right?
01:41:50 Occasionally, not, but the big, you know,
01:41:52 the Disney Channel games,
01:41:53 like all those kinds of things.
01:41:54 - Games. - I feel like those
01:41:55 afterwards, did you do Disney Channel?
01:41:57 - No, I know Annalise did Deadline.
01:41:58 - Annalise, you definitely did Disney Channel.
01:41:59 - Annalise definitely did Deadline.
01:42:00 - Were you on the green team?
01:42:02 - I was the red. - I was gonna say red.
01:42:03 I think Zac Efron was on her team.
01:42:05 - Yeah. - Oh my God.
01:42:06 - Yeah, that's why people know about it,
01:42:08 that's the only reason people know about it.
01:42:09 - You met Zac Efron, we need to talk about that.
01:42:11 - People ask me about those things that day all the time,
01:42:13 and I, people, yeah, I don't, it was one day
01:42:16 in so many days, and it was work.
01:42:19 We weren't actually playing games.
01:42:21 Also, I hate games, I like watching TV.
01:42:24 - I'm sorry.
01:42:24 - Talk about authenticity.
01:42:26 - Yeah. - I love it.
01:42:27 - No, I love it. - But that's so interesting,
01:42:29 like I'm trying to think of--
01:42:29 - Do you actually compete against each other?
01:42:32 - No. - No.
01:42:34 - In more ways than one.
01:42:35 - Well, not in those games, but I remember growing up,
01:42:37 and I remember Miley Cyrus, I don't remember thinking
01:42:40 about Selena Gomez or Ariana Grande.
01:42:44 I remember I was doing a musical in Texas,
01:42:49 and she was, I was doing Meet Me in St. Louis
01:42:50 in Texas, and she came to see me in the show
01:42:52 because she was rehearsing 13 on Broadway.
01:42:54 - Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:42:55 - And she came up to me, she was like obsessed.
01:42:57 She was like, "Oh my God, you're so amazing,
01:42:58 "you're so amazing."
01:42:59 And I think back on it now, and it's like,
01:43:01 oh my gosh, look where she's--
01:43:02 You know what I mean?
01:43:03 - That's cool. - Yeah, that is cool.
01:43:05 But I do remember auditioning people,
01:43:07 sorry, people were auditioning for Hannah Montana,
01:43:09 and I was already on that, so Raven,
01:43:11 so I had young kids, parents asking me to coach their kids.
01:43:14 And I was coaching their kids, coaching their kids,
01:43:16 and then I heard Miley Cyrus was auditioning,
01:43:18 and I told those kids' parents, "Don't pay me,
01:43:20 "that kid's never gonna get it."
01:43:22 You know, there's no reason for me to coach them.
01:43:25 Miley Cyrus is here, it's over, nepotism, nepotism.
01:43:28 But also, she's incredibly talented.
01:43:30 You know.
01:43:33 - Yeah, oh man, that's--
01:43:34 (laughing)
01:43:36 - I could really listen to you guys talk all day,
01:43:38 I'm not gonna lie.
01:43:38 - I know.
01:43:39 - I know, it was very enjoyable.
01:43:40 - Well, I love you guys, and I was just so excited
01:43:43 that we got to be able to connect in this way.
01:43:47 And I'm really just proud of everything
01:43:50 that you guys are doing.
01:43:51 Seven years is like insane, I can't even imagine.
01:43:54 - Thank you, yes.
01:43:54 - It's amazing, it's a long time.
01:43:57 Do you feel old?
01:43:58 Just kidding, I'm just kidding.
01:44:00 - No, it's funny, we always joke about,
01:44:03 and I know, you just grow up,
01:44:05 you just not even grow up fast,
01:44:07 but it's just you're working a lot.
01:44:09 So you have to remind yourself,
01:44:11 I am young.
01:44:14 People, you know, gets--
01:44:16 - They get confused how old I am all the time,
01:44:18 because I started when I was 19.
01:44:21 So it was like, I had like one year
01:44:23 in between, basically between high school
01:44:25 and like working here.
01:44:27 And so at first I was always like,
01:44:30 oh my God, she's so young, she's so young.
01:44:32 And now that I've been working here for seven years,
01:44:34 now it's like, oh my God, she's like 40,
01:44:37 but I'm 26.
01:44:38 So it's like, I think people either think--
01:44:41 - In internet years, you're 40.
01:44:43 - Right, so people either think that I'm like,
01:44:47 way older than I am, or like still really young.
01:44:51 Like, you know, like it's like,
01:44:52 because I guess like I start,
01:44:53 like it's weird, like we did a serious XM show,
01:44:57 like a radio show, and I was 19.
01:44:59 - Yeah, yeah, wow.
01:45:00 - It's like bizarre.
01:45:01 - I know.
01:45:02 - That's so great, so you're a child star too.
01:45:04 - Right, listen, I wish.
01:45:05 - She always, she tried.
01:45:08 - Listen, we'll start this up again,
01:45:09 I talk about it all the time.
01:45:10 - Guys, that's a whole nother episode.
01:45:11 - I was a child actress and model,
01:45:13 and I auditioned for many Disney shows,
01:45:16 but you know, I didn't make it, I didn't make it.
01:45:19 I did not make it.
01:45:20 - Wait, what?
01:45:21 She auditioned for many Disney shows.
01:45:22 - I auditioned for many Disney shows.
01:45:23 - Which, tell us, give it to us.
01:45:24 - Shake It Up, Ant Farm, you know.
01:45:27 - See?
01:45:28 - But like--
01:45:29 - Shake It Up, interesting, did you get,
01:45:30 how was that process, did you get callbacks?
01:45:32 - No, not for those shows.
01:45:33 (laughing)
01:45:35 - No worries, I think you would have been great.
01:45:37 - Especially on Shake It Up.
01:45:38 I was on Shake It Up, and I gotta tell ya.
01:45:41 - It was shake and not stir.
01:45:42 - Yeah, it was, not shake.
01:45:45 (laughing)
01:45:47 - Yeah, no, those are not the path.
01:45:48 - Everything happens for a reason,
01:45:49 'cause honestly, look at the path that you've,
01:45:51 it's all led all of us to.
01:45:53 I mean, I just think this is a great empowering vehicle
01:45:55 for women to be able to like sit down and find community,
01:45:59 sometimes with each other, collaborating,
01:46:01 and stuff like that.
01:46:02 I personally just really love what we're doing,
01:46:04 and you know, we do have merch, it's coming.
01:46:08 - Love it.
01:46:09 - So we haven't launched it yet, but like--
01:46:10 - Send it our way, please.
01:46:12 - We'll buy it, you bought ours.
01:46:13 - Please, oh my God, no.
01:46:14 - No, we have to buy it in return.
01:46:16 Yeah, that is true.
01:46:17 - Yes, okay, I need to buy more merch then.
01:46:20 Okay, what can we put you down for?
01:46:21 - Yeah, yeah.
01:46:22 (laughing)
01:46:23 - It's like Girl Scout cookies, right?
01:46:24 - Yeah, yeah.
01:46:25 - Girl Scout cookies.
01:46:26 - A sweatshirt, a T-shirt, a hat.
01:46:27 - And next time, next time when we're in New York,
01:46:30 we do have to hang out in person.
01:46:32 - Yes, we do have to do it in person.
01:46:33 - Absolutely.
01:46:34 - I love your New York vibe.
01:46:35 - Stop going to the Hamptons, y'all are fanganging it.
01:46:37 - I've never been to the Hamptons,
01:46:39 I go to the Jersey Shore.
01:46:40 - Where were you, were in Fire Island?
01:46:41 I listened to your pod, you were like somewhere
01:46:43 for like the summer.
01:46:46 - She was--
01:46:46 - I went to Montauk for one weekend, okay?
01:46:48 - She went to that one weekend.
01:46:49 - Montauk, you--
01:46:50 - I went to Montauk for one weekend.
01:46:51 Normally I'm not there, it was one time.
01:46:54 - I went to the Jersey Shore, that's way opposite of that.
01:46:57 - I love it.
01:46:58 - That's it, Jersey, I don't,
01:46:59 any place is more like fancy than like
01:47:02 me in the pickup line of like the school.
01:47:04 - Aw.
01:47:05 - Come on, guys.
01:47:06 - That's true, that's true.
01:47:07 Did you see Summer House in Montauk?
01:47:09 Did you visit with anybody from Summer House?
01:47:11 - Like Hannah.
01:47:12 - Oh.
01:47:13 - We love Hannah.
01:47:14 - We do love, we do love Hannah.
01:47:16 I did not see anybody in my outing.
01:47:19 - Do you guys watch?
01:47:20 - Just the--
01:47:21 - She does, she watches everything.
01:47:23 - The TikTok girlies, the TikTok girlies
01:47:24 were out and about at Surf Lodge.
01:47:27 - They're everywhere.
01:47:28 - But--
01:47:29 - They're everywhere now.
01:47:30 - No, and all the Bravo shows are--
01:47:31 - It's intimidating.
01:47:32 - The Bravo shows are great.
01:47:34 - Oh, honestly, you watch all of them?
01:47:36 - Yes, I love them, I'm obsessed.
01:47:38 - What's your favorite one?
01:47:40 - Oh, honestly--
01:47:41 - These are your people.
01:47:43 - Below Deck.
01:47:44 - Below Deck.
01:47:45 - Really?
01:47:46 - Well, because, you know, it's everyone's favorite,
01:47:48 it's their highest rated.
01:47:49 And it's because so much happens, so much goes on,
01:47:52 there's so much conflict, so many characters.
01:47:54 - It's a small vessel.
01:47:56 - There's danger, there's obviously relationships, gossip,
01:47:59 but people hurt themselves and yeah,
01:48:02 I mean, I love all the Real Housewives,
01:48:04 but right now, just 'cause Below Deck's on
01:48:05 and I watched it last night,
01:48:07 which I wanna talk to you about.
01:48:09 - I tried to watch Selling O.C. and it was fucking awful.
01:48:12 - That one's cool.
01:48:13 - Oh, I just finished the whole second season.
01:48:16 - You can't do that, you gotta watch Vanderpump,
01:48:18 you gotta watch Summer House, Southern Charm,
01:48:22 the Housewives.
01:48:23 - Selling Sunset and Selling O.C.,
01:48:25 they bring people in because, you know,
01:48:27 you love to see those beautiful houses
01:48:28 and like, what not, all that stuff.
