00:00:00 What's up everyone it's Chicks in the Office with Rhea and Fran giving you
00:00:04 that Friday energy on a Wednesday. It also feels like Friday I do have a lot
00:00:08 of Friday energy inside my soul right now. We don't have an episode on Friday.
00:00:11 That is true. So we're like putting both energies Wednesday and Friday into one.
00:00:15 We have a very special special guest today. We are joined by Murray the
00:00:20 Swissy aka Noah's beautiful dog. Yeah. Who is taking up our couch in the best way.
00:00:26 He's a king. Now he's being cute. He's being so cute and polite. He is ruling
00:00:31 this office right now and we just can't get enough of him. Honestly we have been
00:00:35 blessed with his presence today. We have. We absolutely have. Everybody's excited
00:00:38 and honestly it's been so great to have him because today our episode is brought
00:00:42 to you by Milkbone a brand that believes that everything could use more dog. Even
00:00:47 this podcast. Look I would love to have our dogs here all the time. Listen I
00:00:49 would love if Norman was here right with us with Murray. Imagine Norman and
00:00:54 Murray sitting next to each other. Hilarious visual. Norman is like the size of his leg. It's so funny. I think Murray's head is bigger than Norman's whole body. It's very close.
00:01:05 It's very close but Murray's adorable so Noah thanks for having him. Thanks for sharing.
00:01:10 Shut up. My mom is really the one who. Yes. Murray. He hears you talking. Your mom's the best.
00:01:15 She drove Murray here today and Murray's also obsessed with your mom and so
00:01:21 we've had to have her sit next to him the whole time and she's trying to hide
00:01:25 from the camera although her hands will be popping in the shot. Yeah I'm gonna
00:01:28 I'm Ria I'm gonna give him a little Milkbone. As you should. He deserves it.
00:01:33 All of our dogs deserve it to be quite honest. I wish I can give Norman one right
00:01:38 now but Murray's gonna get one. Oh good boy. Everybody loves the Milkbone treats. He's really enjoying that. He really is. He's honestly making me want one.
00:01:49 We got them all over. He's keeping his cool though you know there's a lot of
00:01:55 treat boxes laying around here so every time you give a dog a Milkbone
00:02:00 treat it's great. They enjoy it. They love it. What you know. Something about
00:02:05 giving a dog a treat is like giving yourself a treat you know because they're
00:02:08 so happy it makes you feel happy. Right and you like make them like fight for a
00:02:11 little bit like sit paw but at the same time you know you're gonna give it to
00:02:14 them anyway. Look he's so excited because the little crumb got into the crevice
00:02:17 of the couch. He's really diving in there to find that. And now he gets more and maybe if he's a good boy he'll get
00:02:21 another one soon. Exactly. This is not the last time you'll hear
00:02:25 about Milkbone today because that's just how excited we are to have Murray here
00:02:29 with us and give him some treats and shower him with love. That couch is gonna
00:02:33 be like black with just all his shedding. Yeah it's alright. We can figure that out
00:02:38 afterwards so everyone guys go to Milkbone.com and bring more dog to
00:02:45 your life. That's Milkbone.com and bring more dog to your life. Ria how you doing?
00:02:51 I'm great. He's bringing such a smile to my face. I know I'm beaming right now. Look I don't know how much more we can talk about it
00:02:57 because truly it's like we'll talk about it even more as the show goes on. Dogs
00:03:02 make people happy. Yeah it's a YouTube episode for sure. Yeah if you're not
00:03:05 watching on YouTube you're not getting the full effect. And he's got his little chicks in the office bandana on.
00:03:09 Just a brand sponsor. I'm doing good today. Yeah we have talked ad nauseum
00:03:17 about the week ahead. We are headed to Boston. When people listen to this we'll be headed to
00:03:21 Boston. The 20th anniversary Barstool Awards are tonight when you're listening
00:03:25 so you can tune into the live stream. Oh my god this is such a beautiful picture
00:03:29 right now. I'm laying next to the Milkbone box. I can't get enough of it. I love you. I love you so much. But as you're listening to this you can watch tonight the live
00:03:39 stream. We'll be hosting red carpet and we're also gonna be presenting which I
00:03:43 am very very very nervous about. Very very very very nervous. We're kind of just trying to like blank that out you know. We're already thinking about the day
00:03:51 after. Right well so I was in the office talking about us presenting with
00:03:56 people and Francis mentioned how he is gonna do a quick little thing before he
00:04:00 like says the award. I was thinking about that. I don't want to do a bit. Neither do I. He was
00:04:04 like why don't you and Frank do a little Tina Fey Amy Poehler. I said no no I think
00:04:08 we're just gonna get up there and say this is the award and here's the winner.
00:04:12 Because look at the end of the day we are avid viewers of award shows. Yeah. And
00:04:16 those things go long and sometimes you just appreciate the people that get on
00:04:20 stage and say the award and then get off stage. Right and we can even say that. We
00:04:24 could be like listen we watch a lot of award shows we're not gonna bore you
00:04:27 with a little bit. We're not gonna do a bit. We're gonna cut. This may sound like a
00:04:30 bit but it's not a bit. It's not a bit. We're gonna cut to the chase. Yep. Here's the award for
00:04:35 blah blah blah. Exactly. We have to get our timing right. We need to say the person at the same time.
00:04:39 Yep. There's a whole lot of stuff that goes into this. We gotta not trip on stage. I'm
00:04:43 very nervous about that. I know. But it's gonna be okay. It's gonna be great. I am
00:04:48 just so ecstatic for the Bachelorette party that I have this weekend. I cannot
00:04:51 wait for that. I have written like in multiple different spots for me not to
00:04:54 forget my passport. That's very important. I got a hair in my mouth. Sorry. Very
00:05:01 important. Yep. You should just make sure that that's packed first you know.
00:05:05 The good pocket of the bag or the backpack. As soon as I get home that
00:05:08 passport is the first thing that's going into my bag because oh my gosh the
00:05:13 scare the fright that would give me if I showed up with no passport. Yeah. But I'm
00:05:17 freaking excited. I'm just looking at this camera. It literally looks like Murray
00:05:20 could eat Rhea. Oh my gosh. I mean look Murray's no no tiny and tiny lapdog. He's
00:05:29 120 pounds. He's pure muscle over here. He's so cute and lovable. I just want to like
00:05:34 squeeze him and cuddle up to him. He's just too freaking cute. You know what I mean like give a big
00:05:38 bear hug. Yeah. So yeah you're headed to your Bachelorette party which is very
00:05:43 exciting. Mm-hmm. I'll be back on Martha's Vineyard. Very exciting about excited
00:05:48 about that. Festival. Yeah. We got the whole itinerary you know like I've been
00:05:52 talking about this but I just I told my friends that I want to like film us like
00:05:55 we're back in high school. Like how we acted when we were in high school. We
00:06:00 would all hang out. Make some like dance videos. Yeah like whatever happens happens. You know what I mean like I
00:06:04 just can't wait. It's gonna be really exciting. We have a great show. Long show.
00:06:08 I feel like already on this episode because we have Trent. Yes we do. We have
00:06:15 Charity and Daughton. Yes we do. They graced us with their presence. And we have some topics. And we have Murray. And we have Murray. It can't get
00:06:22 better than today's episode. It really can't. And it'll hold you over until
00:06:25 freaking Monday. Yeah. Because we don't have an episode on Friday. We apologize. Might take you three days to listen to this one. It might.
00:06:28 Actually might. So let's get into the topics. So a lot has been happening this
00:06:35 week with Scooter Braun. Clients are dropping like flies. Something's happening.
00:06:41 Something must be happening. Everybody's wondering what did he do? What what is
00:06:45 everybody hearing? Because the first report came out that Justin Bieber had
00:06:50 dropped him. And now Justin Bieber's people they were like no that's not
00:06:54 happening. But there's been multiple different hearsay about that. Yeah. It was
00:06:59 originally like virtually came from somewhere called Puck News. Which is why
00:07:02 people raised an eyebrow. But the guy that started Puck News was apparently I
00:07:07 don't know he worked for the Hollywood Report or something. He's had a long
00:07:11 history in the... Come here buddy. He's had a long history in the entertainment news
00:07:17 world. Yeah. So he was like he posted this he's like this is what I'm hearing.
00:07:22 Nobody else had really shared it. All the other outlets were basically saying that
00:07:25 it isn't true because like you know their management had had said that
00:07:31 that's not what's happening. So I don't know it's just you have to wait and see
00:07:35 really with that. And there wasn't really too many other things that had come out
00:07:38 of the Justin Bieber part. But what did start to happen was his other clients
00:07:43 started dropping him. Demi Lovato first. Yeah. Then right after Demi Lovato was
00:07:47 Ariana Grande. Yeah. And then right after Ariana Grande was Idina Menzel. Yeah. All
00:07:51 of these... Who I did not know was represented by Scooter Braun. And now all of these top stars are
00:07:56 dropping Big Bad Scooter. Something must have happened. And now there are reports
00:08:01 that maybe Scooter is not a manager anymore. Maybe he's moving on wants to do
00:08:05 something different. You don't stop being a manager unless people don't want you
00:08:09 as a manager anymore. That's I think how that happens. Oh really? I
00:08:13 don't know I could kind of see him like I feel like he's a master...
00:08:19 Manipulator is not the word I'm looking for but I guess it kind of works
00:08:24 like manipulates the situation in favor of him you know. So it's like where he
00:08:30 thinks that hey I've had this massive business, created SB management, the whole
00:08:36 thing and now like I just think guys with massive egos also can just be like
00:08:41 you know what I'm I'm tired of that I want to move on to something else I want
00:08:45 to run this business. Yeah. I want to I want to create something totally
00:08:48 different I want to do something else. So I feel like that... Scooter Braun's like I need a
00:08:51 manager. Yeah it's just also crazy to me too that this could all be happening and
00:08:56 he posts on Instagram from like a vacation he's like on some trip. Look
00:09:01 wherever he is looks beautiful but it's mountains, hiking, all these people and
00:09:04 the capture just carpe diem. So I'm like all right. He seems unbothered. Right. So I
00:09:10 mean clearly we know Scooter Braun is not the cleanest of guys with this
00:09:14 reputation okay. Yeah. He's got a sketchy past we know everything that happened
00:09:18 with Taylor Swift he was a dick to her. Yeah. And then you know he cheated on his wife.
00:09:23 I really do feel like pre-Taylor Swift though he had a great
00:09:28 reputation. He had a great reputation until you uncover things about people.
00:09:32 And the real them is unveiled. Yeah. And that's what happens a lot of times.
00:09:36 Yep. And this so-called good guy Scooter Braun gets a massive head and he has
00:09:41 skeletons in his closet that come to light. And I think that maybe that might
00:09:45 be what we're seeing or maybe like you said maybe it's as simple as he's not
00:09:50 gonna be a manager anymore and he's doing some other business. But I will say
00:09:53 it does not look good for him at all that every single client of his is
00:09:57 dropping him in the same week. Yeah. No matter if you did something bad or you
00:10:00 didn't it looks like something very bad is about to come out about you. And even
00:10:03 if it's like even if he spins it of like oh my company is is ending or like this
00:10:10 is not I'm no longer a manager contracts are ending all happening at one time is
00:10:14 extremely suspicious for sure. So there's no way that there isn't something crazy
00:10:19 happening. We're doing a little tease. Okay we're gonna jump in here for quick
00:10:24 for quick treat break. Treat break song. You see a milk bone. Treat break. Treat break. He's literally breathing into the mic. He is breathing into the microphone. Everybody stop for a treat break. Oh my god I gotta wait.
00:10:32 Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Everybody stop. Hold the treat break. Treat break. He's got a lot to say.
00:10:38 Okay. Yeah he does. Guys milk bone like we said absolutely delicious. Your dog will
00:10:43 love him. Murray's loves him. Look at him. He's just too cute. I mean truly milk
00:10:50 bone. Milk bone believes it. We believe it. I'm gonna wipe my hand on this piece of paper. Yeah that's totally fine. Milk bone believes it. We believe it. Life is better when you have
00:10:58 dogs. More dog always. I think even like you could think of crazy moments that
00:11:04 have happened recently where you think wouldn't it be better if a dog was
00:11:08 involved in that. That person would probably be happier if they had a dog
00:11:10 next to them. That divorce just happened. Maybe they would be happier if they had
00:11:13 a dog. Maybe they should go get a dog. Exactly. Happy moments are happening.
00:11:18 Babies are being born. Marriages are happening. Throw a dog in the mix.
00:11:22 Everything's better with a dog. Exactly. Make sure you are stocked up on your
00:11:26 milk bone treats. You can go to milkbone.com and bring more dog to your
00:11:31 life. Now with the with the Justin Bieber thing with part of this with the
00:11:37 scooter situation like do you think they're just gonna wait this out and
00:11:42 have scooter say something before anything happens happens with Justin?
00:11:46 I'm not. He is digging for this milk bone treat. Get it. He got it. I feel like when it comes to
00:11:55 Justin and scooter they have a very long history. Family bond. I think they
00:12:01 will go about this respectfully and maybe that's why Justin's team stepped
00:12:06 in and was like oh no he's not leaving yet because they need to go about it the
00:12:11 right way because there's a very long relationship there. Yeah yeah.
00:12:14 Ariana Grande had a bad past with scooter as well.
00:12:20 I mean they worked together since 2013. They were together but they stopped
00:12:23 working together and then she went back to him. Remember they had to make up. They
00:12:26 had a really bad like fight. They stopped working together and then they started
00:12:30 working together again. Look with Demi Lovato too that always was a red flag to
00:12:34 me like when Demi Lovato was like this is the guy I want scooter Braun. I was
00:12:39 like oh no oh no you know. I had that kind of I didn't love that move either
00:12:43 because she's had a very tough go with her management. We see how the management
00:12:46 has been. She's had a lot of stories to share from that and it was very like
00:12:53 publicized like I found my my perfect fit it's gonna be this but I mean I
00:12:58 don't know. Yeah I also think it's kind of funny now how obviously everyone
00:13:05 knows what happened between Scooter and Taylor yeah but everything's coming back
00:13:08 up now where they're they're showing what Demi said what Ariana said when
00:13:13 everything came out about Scooter and Taylor what Justin said and they were
00:13:16 like oh this is the guy you were defending and now it could be that
00:13:20 nothing happened. Yeah but I don't think that's the case when all of your clients
00:13:24 are dropping you in the same week. Maybe their contracts are up all at
00:13:27 around the same time they're deciding to move on and he's doing something else
00:13:30 but it's fishy to me. It's very very fishy. There has to be something going on.
00:13:35 I don't think stuff like this happens normally. No and and you know I mean
00:13:40 obviously the Swifties are having a field day because it just feels like
00:13:43 everything is crumbling for him which is totally what it does seem like but
00:13:49 that's what I'm saying like I'm very confused on this spin he's a spin guy
00:13:53 he'll put a spin on this I think my prediction is that like this Scooter
00:13:59 Braun management company or whatever is just like coming to an end and he's
00:14:02 starting something new that maybe isn't music management. Maybe we'll have to see.
00:14:07 I think like Taylor may have ended his time in the music industry. She could have.
00:14:10 Like maybe he just fully has to switch fields. Maybe some kind of like
00:14:14 ownership of some kind of company but maybe it's not in music. Yeah maybe
00:14:18 nobody respects him anymore maybe they're like listen Taylor is clearly at
00:14:21 the top right now yeah and she's destroying you every night on stage so
00:14:26 yeah maybe it's time you move on. That's what you made her do.
00:14:31 Nailed that one. Totally nailed it. Last topic. Congrats to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.
00:14:38 They had their second child. Seems to be a boy. There were reports that
00:14:42 they were having a girl but now they're saying boy. Yeah so I don't know which
00:14:46 one I believe yet. I want to I will wait to see until the couple announces but
00:14:50 either way. Family of four. I can't get enough of these two being in love and having
00:14:54 children and multiple children just finding love with each other I just can't
00:14:58 get over it. I'm like I couldn't be happier for A$AP Rocky and Rihanna.
00:15:01 I just want them to keep that love alive and I think they will. So
00:15:05 Murray might put a hole in this couch. He might and that's okay he's our king.
00:15:09 He's digging for his milk bones. So congrats to Rihanna and A$AP. We're so happy for you.
00:15:14 But yeah why don't you mention some things you watched this week. I will. I will. Also
00:15:16 wait quickly again Jesse James Decker is having another baby as well. Big
00:15:22 pregnancy news but that's um I just saw them joking that like she wanted him to
00:15:29 have a vasectomy and he said no. Now they're having another baby.
00:15:32 Oh that's tough. Yeah. I kind of think if I was like I need my husband to get a
00:15:37 vasectomy and he didn't I'd be pretty pissed. I'm sure like I'm sure it wasn't
00:15:42 totally unplanned or who knows but like if you say I think I'm done having kids
00:15:47 and he's like I don't know I'd be like that's not your decision pal. I mean it
00:15:52 is his decision to get a vasectomy though. No but if I'm yeah but if I am
00:15:57 like I really don't want to have any more kids. Then you can get your tubes
00:16:01 tied. Yeah but it's a lot easier for him to get a vasectomy. Right but the way I
00:16:06 understand what you're saying 100% but the way that you're wording it being
00:16:10 like it's not his decision it's 100% his decision to get a vasectomy or not.
00:16:14 Yeah but it would be a very selfless thing to do. It would be a very
00:16:19 selfless thing to do for your for your it would be wife. It would be it would be
00:16:23 it would be nice you know but he didn't do it. I just think that that's like not
00:16:27 a crazy ask. It's not a crazy it's not a crazy surgery. I don't know you know what
00:16:32 I mean. I don't think I am to say if it's a crazy surgery or not I'm not a guy.
00:16:36 You know all I know is that getting your tubes tied is way crazier than doing getting a
00:16:42 vasectomy. So right if you're like hey that this is what I want at least maybe
00:16:46 be open to it. Maybe it was open to it maybe he was like I don't know. Yeah maybe.
00:16:52 Yeah I mean look there's obviously other ways to not have kids. Right you can't
00:16:56 force the guy to get a vasectomy if he doesn't want to. Yeah. But I get what
00:17:00 you're saying it would be nice. Yeah. But you can't be like you must you must do
00:17:04 it. Yeah. You know that's you're right. But I also think you could certainly push
00:17:10 him in the direction that you want him to go. Oh whatever you say. I think when
00:17:15 it comes to like having more kids. It's a big decision. Yeah. But they're having
00:17:19 now they're having their fourth kid. Murray is dying for these milk bones. He's
00:17:24 going crazy for that. He's just staring at the box. Murray you have to be a good
00:17:29 boy to get them. I know. OK. So yes I did have some things I wanted to
00:17:33 mention. Watch wise. I started suits. You did. Yeah. Watch the first three
00:17:41 episodes.
00:17:41 You like it. Yeah. Wow. Like I'm into it. I don't know. It just it didn't fully
00:17:51 as it fully pulled me in. Interesting. I don't know what it was. Not going to get
00:17:56 mad at you. No I know I know. I just like how many. I just was waiting for
00:18:04 something a little juicy to happen you know like a big pull in for the. More
00:18:09 stuff in or. Yeah. Happens. I also I was from the only watch three episodes. So
00:18:16 yeah. But I think I was like hooked within the first three. Yeah. Yeah. I
00:18:21 don't know. This sounds like silly but I do sometimes think like scripted shows
00:18:27 that came out. A long time ago ish a long time ago not that long ago but a
00:18:34 long time ago that the production value is like so different that I'm just like
00:18:40 man this doesn't look doesn't visually look that good. You know I get what
00:18:45 you're saying. You're like this is so fake. Yeah. Yeah. But it was definitely
00:18:50 a show that I was like oh I got to throw something on. I've been I want was like
00:18:54 I'll give it a try. I've truly I've watched a lot. I've exhausted a lot of
00:18:58 my shows in the last over the weekend too. I had a lot of free time. I did. I
00:19:06 talked about I finished at home with the Furies which I really liked and I
00:19:12 finished Sweet Magnolias which I did post on my Instagram story and I was
00:19:15 very happy to see that a lot more people and I thought were still watching this
00:19:19 show. I kind of felt like I was the only one. Mm hmm. So is anybody still talking
00:19:23 about this? I don't see a lot of people talking about it. People aren't posting
00:19:26 about it as much but I did see like I did get a lot of DMs from girls being
00:19:29 like oh my god I watched it already and I think people just didn't really love
00:19:33 this season which is fair. I will say that I don't know if it's going to
00:19:38 continue for another season if they'll keep doing it. It felt like they kind of
00:19:42 wrapped it up a little bit because the first and second seasons the way it
00:19:46 ended massive cliffhanger like that is what roped you into the next season
00:19:51 because you were like oh my you remember what happened at the end and this one
00:19:55 did not have a big cliffhanger. Might be donezo. You know so it kind of felt like
00:20:00 oh maybe they're expecting not to get renewed or I don't know I don't know
00:20:05 what it was there wasn't it there wasn't one but that there's a it's like the
00:20:10 storylines with the adults and there's the storylines with the kids. The
00:20:14 storylines with the adults were getting a little stale I thought like something
00:20:19 big needed to happen and then with the kids they're just dragging out the one
00:20:25 couple that everybody wants to get together the kids of the best friends
00:20:30 and it's like she had a different boyfriend then they broke up and he's
00:20:34 Tyler's looking at her a certain type of ways I'll always be there for you I'm
00:20:39 your friend like they're just getting close again and then they still didn't
00:20:44 really give us the moment that we were all hoping for still in that season even
00:20:48 at the end it was like maybe a little tease there's like a long hug. Maybe
00:20:51 that's what will be if they do a third season they'll go back to that. I would
00:20:56 think that that's where that that's what they would do. Have you been
00:20:59 keeping up with New York housewives? No I have to watch New York. I recommend I
00:21:06 really like the episode they did this this past week was Aaron's 10th
00:21:13 anniversary party and the girls were just like kind of ruthless in a very
00:21:17 silly way like they're just mean about like little things that you're like damn
00:21:20 why you guys why you gotta be so rude. Like one of the girls one of the
00:21:25 girls left her party because she said there wasn't enough food and she's she's
00:21:31 like who wants to go to Nobu who wants to go to Nobu it's right down the
00:21:34 street who wants to go to she's she apparently left and went to Nobu by
00:21:37 herself and Aaron was like did Sai leave? They were like yeah. All good parties
00:21:41 need a plethora of food. You can't run out of food. He's like Sai's like
00:21:46 yeah I'm out. But that's like been their biggest thing they're Sai and Aaron like
00:21:50 don't get along because Sai says Aaron doesn't feed the feed them enough. A lot
00:21:53 of restaurant judging and food shaming. A lot of a lot.
00:21:57 It needs to hit the standards. And Brynn shamelessly flirting with
00:22:03 Aaron's husband where it was like maybe a little too far. Like not not really a
00:22:08 joke. Yeah. At the 10th anniversary party being like so when are you getting
00:22:11 divorced? I don't know. A little uncomfortable. Yeah. Maybe don't do that. I gotta catch up. But it has been good so I
00:22:18 have been liking I have been liking that. And so wait what have you did what did
00:22:22 you think of Love Island? You started watching right? So I started watching Love
00:22:25 Island USA. I skipped Takasa more. I'm into it. I've watched like maybe four or
00:22:29 five episodes at this point. I'm definitely gonna continue watching. I am
00:22:33 very interested. I've been locked in. I think it's really good. I think it's
00:22:36 starting to finally meet the UK standards in my opinion. I don't know
00:22:42 what the fuck happened with Sarah Hyland on that episode. She did nothing wrong. I
00:22:47 know. Absolutely nothing wrong. And the fact that she was called out for being
00:22:50 disrespectful I was like she's the host. She has to make sure if somebody said
00:22:54 they're leaving the host has to go are you sure about that? And it's not in a
00:22:57 condescending way. It's like I'm the host and I need to make sure this is your
00:23:00 decision or else you know you don't want to regret this decision. I don't think
00:23:03 she was disrespectful at all. I thought that was wild but also made for great TV.
00:23:07 Yeah. And then besides that I watched. I'm gonna pause. I'm gonna hit pause so we
00:23:12 can do one more tree cam. He needs it. Tree cam. Murry needs a tree. I actually think you should come in for this one.
00:23:17 Murry. Take the mic. Murry. Milk bone moment. You're not out of here yet Murry. Oh Murry
00:23:23 gets his final treat. He gets his final milk bone. You gotta be a good boy Murry.
00:23:28 Does he do any tricks Noah? Does he do sit? Does he do paw? Oh good boy. He did paw
00:23:36 everybody. I know if you're listening you couldn't. Come on clean it up. Today's
00:23:42 episode once again is brought to you by Milk Bone. A brand that believes that
00:23:46 more dog makes everything better. It really does. I will say you know having a
00:23:51 dog while you record is it is an absolute treat in itself. I'm not gonna lie it
00:23:55 really made me want to bring Norman in. I was like you know what why not bring him
00:23:59 in next time. What if we just brought them all in together. I'll make my mom bring Flo and Lola.
00:24:03 I was nervous about that. That would be funny if you had them all sitting like. But like I really think Norman would just sit here and like just cuddle.
00:24:09 There's an initial freak out of like being excited you're in a new place but
00:24:14 I think if we waited like an hour to record and then have him plus if we had
00:24:18 the whole place stock with Milk Bone. I think I think we would be very excited. We would be
00:24:22 totally fine. Murray you've been in good hands this whole episode. You're a dog that makes doing a
00:24:27 podcast better. Such a handsome dog. He is very handsome. What a gentleman. He has a big head.
00:24:32 Beautiful. You know. Beautiful dog. Truly. I also love when the Swiss Mountain Dogs
00:24:37 because they have that light brown coloring so it gives them eyebrows. Mm-hmm.
00:24:41 And they can be very expressive. He's so beautiful. He is so handsome and honestly
00:24:46 we love having him come in and we loved just giving him as many Milk Bone treats as we possibly could.
00:24:52 And I think he enjoyed it too. Yeah I think he's been told that perhaps this is his meal for the
00:24:57 day because we have been giving him so many Milk Bone treats. They are absolutely amazing. Make
00:25:02 sure you are getting your Milk Bone treats for your dogs at MilkBone.com and bring more dog
00:25:08 to your life. Thanks Murray. Thank you Murray for coming in. Okay unpause. I can't stop
00:25:15 he's majestic. I know. What else did you watch? Cutthroat Kitchen. Yeah. One of my favorites and
00:25:20 I haven't watched a cooking show in a while. Before bed I was like you know what I really
00:25:25 want to just focus in on a competition. I want to get locked in. I want to root for people. Cutthroat
00:25:31 Kitchen has so many episodes. It's impossible. Like I have not seen all of them. I've seen a
00:25:34 ton of them. I haven't seen all of them. Locked into Cutthroat Kitchen now at night before bed
00:25:38 because I really try to get off my phone in bed now ever since I deleted TikTok a while ago. But
00:25:44 I do have TikTok again now. You know that's a really good rule to have and I've been so bad
00:25:48 with it recently too. Scrolling in bed. So ever since I deleted TikTok I got better at it and now
00:25:54 that I have TikTok again I am really trying to stay with that rule and I've been pretty good.
00:25:58 Actually I'm impressed with myself. I am not clicking TikTok whenever I open my phone. I
00:26:04 think I'm doing good. I'm trying to keep it that way and that really means at night when you get
00:26:08 into bed to just you know sit back, relax, put on a show. You know. You mentioned on Monday that
00:26:16 you watched the you also watched it the Jake Paul problem child. I did. I didn't mind it. Listen I
00:26:23 think. I wouldn't consider myself a fan. I'm fascinated by it. But it is fascinating. I'm
00:26:29 fascinated by the Pauls. I agree. I think there's listen as much of a troublemaker both were or
00:26:39 could have been and still are. The mistakes they have made. Yeah. You do have to consider the
00:26:48 gaining of fame and large large large amounts of money at a young age. Yeah. It's not even the
00:26:55 fame. It's the money. Millions and millions and millions of dollars. By the time you're 18. Yeah.
00:27:02 That you can do anything you want. And that is going to make you feel invincible. Money can make
00:27:07 an asshole out of anyone. Right. And I think that you don't feel bad for them. Right. Because you're
00:27:13 like they have so much money. But you can kind of go OK. They probably have had some dark times.
00:27:19 And I think that was talked about where like Logan and and their dad were nervous about Jake.
00:27:24 You know they thought he was going to like take his life. Yeah. Because of some dark times. And
00:27:30 I think a lot of people that have been put in the spotlight and and all of that have dealt with sort
00:27:36 of the same thing. And that always makes me feel awful. Yeah. Interesting dynamic with their dad
00:27:41 also. Right. I didn't really know too much about that relationship. So it's very it's fascinating.
00:27:46 I think whether you like them or you don't like them I think their lives have been fascinating
00:27:51 to watch unfold. And I watch unfold. I do like that Jake and Logan have seemed to figure their shit
00:27:57 out. You know because you never like to see family and brothers like fight. They said they hated each
00:28:01 other which was obvious. Well sometimes you think was this for show. They were like no we straight
00:28:06 up hated each other. Yeah. And they admitted to doing a lot of like the times when we would talk
00:28:11 about Jake Paul and Tana. We're like at least you fake it or they're not fake fake which we all
00:28:15 assume was fake. But yeah I get roped into that world. And so I think the whole thing is just
00:28:20 fascinating. A fascinating look into influencer lifestyle. YouTubers from a young age of Vine
00:28:26 stars all of those people that just like took a shot at making videos and became huge from it.
00:28:33 And now they have to go. What do we do with our lives. Do we continue to go down this path of
00:28:39 making videos or do we channel all of this energy into something else. And it seems like Jake is
00:28:44 channeling everything into boxing. But I think it's a good outlet. Yeah. For somebody who I think
00:28:49 seems to be dealing with a lot. Channeling it into boxing. In a way to make a lot of money.
00:28:52 Right. Make a lot of money. You're still an entertainer. A lot of eyeballs. Yeah. And yeah
00:28:58 I think we're gonna see that with a lot of not boxing in general but just like I'm thinking
00:29:03 about David Dobrik right. Like David Dobrik's been hush ever since everything happened with him. Yeah.
00:29:08 Where does David Dobrik go. He's got the pizza place. But you have to like these people that
00:29:12 start so young they almost go where do we venture out. What are you laughing at. Just the pizza.
00:29:16 He got the pizza place. It's just like well you know he's got Dobrik. Well that's what he made.
00:29:21 That was his venture. I don't know. He's got other. I don't know. I know. I know. But they
00:29:25 have to. They're still so young. Yeah. They have to figure out a path that works for them. Whether
00:29:30 it's still to create videos and entertain or channel that into something else. Definitely.
00:29:34 I agree. And so it's interesting that those Netflix ones have been they've been good. I will
00:29:40 say I've liked watching. I've liked watching them. And yeah. Oh. Going to see Barbie tonight
00:29:50 about three weeks to. Wow. Finally I totally forgot you haven't seen it yet. I haven't
00:29:54 gotten the movies in so long and I just we've just been really busy. I just and I don't know
00:30:00 there's been a few times I've contemplated going alone to see Barbie because I was like damn I feel
00:30:05 like everybody I know has seen it already. But then I also was like I feel like this isn't a
00:30:10 movie I want to see by myself. You know like I was like oh it's a fun thing to go with my sister
00:30:14 like a friend or like some things you know. So I was like I don't know maybe I'll just wait and I
00:30:20 won't see at this point like you know I'm I've had it's over. It is coming out on HBO Max very
00:30:27 soon. I miss the wait. All right. I missed it. But my friend texted me was like do you want to see
00:30:33 Barbie Tuesday. I was like I would love to. I would love nothing more than that. I've been
00:30:37 dying to go see it. I want to know everyone's already seen it. Thoughts right away right after
00:30:41 I will text you because it's been a while and I totally forgot that you haven't seen it at this
00:30:45 point. I know I haven't seen it. I also haven't seen Oppenheimer either. Really. You'll be asleep
00:30:50 by like 10 30 11. Yeah I'm in the hay early these days. Really. I told you it's part of the. Well I
00:30:55 don't know if it's that I'm falling as I don't know what time I'm asleep. I have no idea.
00:31:03 But it's like put out put everything down. I put my phone down at 10 p.m. Sunday night.
00:31:07 Fall asleep to the TV. Yes. Yeah. You do. Sometimes sometimes not. Depends on the night.
00:31:13 But I put my phone down at 10 p.m. Sunday night. I don't know what time I fell asleep. But I just
00:31:18 gave myself like yeah. All right. You got five more minutes left and then you're done. Whatever
00:31:23 really you have to like teach yourself or like we should make that a rule. I'm saying that like not
00:31:28 just to you like no general like we have to teach ourselves that if something happens at a certain
00:31:35 time it's OK if you miss it. That's what I've been trying to tell myself if something happens after
00:31:41 10 p.m. if we make a group rule it's all right. See here's the thing. I won't even follow that
00:31:47 because something will hit me at 11 30 at one time and I'll text it. You know like it sounds
00:31:53 nice in theory. Yeah. Until you actually implement it. Well because the only like the only reason I
00:32:00 would ever feel inclined to answer a text that late would be something work related is what I'm
00:32:07 saying. So I'm like if you just know I'm not answering a work related text past 10 p.m. I just
00:32:13 don't think that works for our job. You know what I mean. But it could. No I don't think it works
00:32:17 for our job. I talk about how do you. But then how do you. Yeah. And how do you put your phone
00:32:22 down at 10 p.m. and I look at it. Well no a text is 11 that he needs a stance right now I'm actually
00:32:27 being hypocritical. Yes. Because I'm saying that's why I was a rule. I don't like it's like a hard
00:32:36 rule. It's just as I'm saying the word rule. That's it. It's only because I'm saying the word
00:32:41 rule. You just completely flip flop. You said actually I need to have my phone on me all the
00:32:45 time. You threw the word rule out there and I'm like oh now we're married to it. You know what I
00:32:50 mean. Yes. I just meant if we could refrain from the late night work conversations we'd all probably
00:32:57 be a little better off. We write but I don't think we do that often. We don't. But it's like it's
00:33:02 not if one of us doesn't answer it 1045. I don't think it would be understandable. Right. I don't
00:33:07 think any of us get like upset though. No we definitely don't. Yeah I kind of like what I'm
00:33:13 saying. Yeah. It was more just like about like I don't want to be scrolling social media past a
00:33:17 certain point like if I don't. Yeah but if my phone is next to me like it's got to be not next to me
00:33:23 completely. Like there's no like me looking at my text messages and not opening Instagram. Yeah.
00:33:28 They all go hand in hand. It all goes hand in hand. They've trapped us. Completely trapped. They
00:33:32 know what they're doing. Yep. And all right so maybe we'll have we'll have a discussion at a
00:33:38 different. It'll probably it'll probably change weekly on whether I put my phone down or not.
00:33:42 Murray down there. It did a lot. A lot came off. All right. OK. Oh my gosh. Going to miss everybody.
00:33:49 Not going to talk to them till Monday. Yeah. Gonna miss you guys. Love you guys. Thank you
00:33:52 so much for watching. We've got like four more segments. Yeah we should talk to you at the end.

00:34:17 the days that she's going to get to retire and all the freedom that comes with that. But who
00:34:23 says you have to wait decades before you get to kick back and chill out. You can take advantage
00:34:26 of that free will and spend the summer chilling like a retiree and pair those moments with Coors
00:34:31 Light the beer that's made to chill. You know we saw in the finale they just got a whole vacation
00:34:36 paid for. They're looking to relax chill out maybe have some nice ice cold Coors Light. I
00:34:40 got to hold it this way away from my mouth so you can see those that nice blue mountain ready to go.

00:35:12 celebrate responsibly from Coors Brewing Company in Golden, Colorado. All right everyone we are
00:35:18 here with Trent and a very special guest that's running away. Murray Noah's dog has joined us as
00:35:25 you know because we talked about that at the beginning of the episode. He's been here the
00:35:28 whole time. He's been here the whole time and you know what he just does what he pleases and that's
00:35:31 okay. Free roamer. You know he's in charge but Trent we are here with you. How you doing? I'm
00:35:38 doing great. I mean there's a dog in the office that always makes me happy. That's the only reason
00:35:41 you showed up today. Pretty much yeah. Yeah. That's how we got you to do this segment really.
00:35:46 It said Murray in the office and I was like I got to be in the city for that and I'm very excited
00:35:51 that I'm here because Murray is a sweetheart. Yeah you're a big cloud chaser that's what that's
00:35:54 about. No I'm not. Well maybe but I'm also a big dog guy. Yeah a little bit of both. We are gonna
00:36:00 chat a little bit about the Bachelorette finale here since we do have you. Yeah. And it's a very
00:36:06 bachelor. We have this. We've got charity and Dotton coming on the show as well. So very bachelor
00:36:13 heavy. Bachelorette heavy I guess I should say. Good dive there Murray. Hey buddy. He's ready to
00:36:20 go. Hey big boy. He is a big dog. 120 pounds I think I heard. Yeah. Majestic. There we go. Yeah.
00:36:28 Look at that. What do we guys want to talk about first. My first thing I want to touch on is we are
00:36:37 doing a bachelor recap. Yeah. We could not put a cutting stems into this episode. Why is that
00:36:43 Maria. One of the main reasons being I was foolish. I was I was being foolish last night during the
00:36:50 live stream. Yeah. The chatters of YouTube the YouTube live chat were telling me to do things
00:36:58 and I was acting upon them and I was listening to them. Chicks in the office fans you own me you
00:37:03 command me and I listen and that's what happened. Yes. We picked up on it pretty quickly. You sniffed
00:37:08 it out fast Fran. Yeah. I mean she she can't keep like she's got to tell like she's like she's
00:37:15 giggling to herself. She's like going to touch your foot. She's like laughing to herself. I'm
00:37:18 like she's not doing this on her own. I just like being interactive with them and that's what it
00:37:22 was all about. They were telling me what to do and I was listening and some may call that immature.
00:37:27 I call it fun and I call it interacting with the chicks in the office listeners and we had do now
00:37:33 have to completely redo. That's why we're doing this. No but that's what the fun is all about.
00:37:38 I thought it was fun. We're happy to have you here today. You lazy son of a bitch. I'm happy to be
00:37:43 here. You do owe us money. I know. Pay up big boy. I just never have cash. Pay up. I just I'm
00:37:51 living in a so I live a cashless life. It is so lame and unattractive of you to not have cash. I don't care. I'm
00:37:57 trying. I live a cashless lifestyle. As a lot of people do. The jar needs like 15 more dollars I
00:38:04 think. A lot of people have gone cashless because a lot of places are just card no cash these days.
00:38:12 It used to be cash only now they're doing card only. Yeah. Times are changing. It's all digital.
00:38:17 It is just digital money. A couple of 20 here 20 there. Carry at least a 20 on you. An emergency 20 will always do you well. You know when I take out my emergency
00:38:27 emergency 20 which won't suit you but whenever I get my nails done I hit that ATM in the place
00:38:34 because I like to leave a hefty tip. You like that? That's good. See I like to throw in that I leave a large tip and I always take out an extra 20 or two
00:38:44 something because I'm like you know what I may need that and I always end up needing it. I will say I got cash recently and it was because of you because I went to a massage place that you recommended. Oh my god we didn't talk about that. We did not. It's a great place and I took cash with me there to tip. I was we didn't talk about this. I didn't even talk about it with you in person but I was so happy you took my advice. Trent was looking for a massage. You know no funny business. You just wanted a straight up massage. No anytime a guy asks for like a massage recommendation
00:39:13 like is this guy trying to get a hand job or what? No and I was like I have a straight up massage place for you. Yeah. Near my home on Long Island and I didn't think he was actually gonna listen to me. Next day he text me this place is legit and I was like yes he went. I have been looking for a place on Long Island and I can't find one around me. They're always booked. Maybe I'm not looking the right places. So then you recommended a spot to me and I looked it up and it was like 20 minutes from me. So I went there I got a I got an hour long massage. Deep tissue. Swedish. Oh Swedish. Interesting. No deep tissue.
00:39:44 Deep tissue. I'm afraid it's gonna hurt. Oh I'm I have to go deep tissue. Swedish for me. Might as well not even get one. It's like barely touch. I need them to fucking beat the shit out of my back. No I see I don't want that. I just I'm fine with just like light. I went medium pressure. She asked me right before she started. She's like what type of pressure. I said medium. She's like great. So then we did. Swedish to me is just a lot of rubbing and not a lot of massaging. See but I'm not going to like any of those.
00:40:13 Are you going to have something healed or are you going to just get massaged like people go there because they have like tense muscles. Like usually it's my neck and my upper back. And I need like I have knots that need to be like needed. See I don't think I have that. Maybe I do. You probably do. Maybe I'll get one next time. But I won the first time I wanted to be Swedish. Regardless you had a great experience. Amazing. Yeah. Amazing. So that's cash. I had cash then because I wanted to tip. At the end of the day trying to your life I don't care what you do with it. If you have cash you have you don't want to.
00:40:42 Who am I to judge. The jar just is you know it's needs some more cash next time. But we can just quickly. You know we could just talk about some stuff quickly because we have charity on also. So we'll be talking to her about it.
00:40:59 Finale was three hours as always. Yeah. And right off the bat it started off with Aaron having no shot at staying which was a conversation that we had because we all watched together obviously. And it jumped right into the rose ceremony. Well basically it was like oh Aaron come have dinner with me and like we'll talk. Yeah. And that's really all I got. And then it went right into a rose ceremony. And it was just she just couldn't keep him.
00:41:26 They they made out a lot on the beach and it confused me. I thought there was no way she's going to let him come back bring him to the rose ceremony and then send him right home. Yeah. But boy is that what she did.
00:41:37 Yeah. You know I guess maybe they told her like the rose centers. At least she did. At least she did pull him aside. You know. Yeah. It wasn't like she really just gave the roses to Joey and Don and left him sitting there again.
00:41:52 True. Like doing that whole process again. It was like all right I am going to send you home but let's at least do it. Do it privately. Yeah I think maybe the whole making out thing that you're referring to maybe she just wanted to see like one more time she felt something and she clearly didn't. She had to double check.
00:42:08 You're confident in your decision until the guy comes back and is like begging for you to take it back and then you're like oh maybe I should think about this again.
00:42:16 And Kelly mentioned this on Cutting Stems. Well he wasn't even third place. He was fourth place. So he had to go. And I see like it was kind of ruthless but at the same time we needed something to add to the finale because it was beautiful.
00:42:30 The whole thing the finale was great. It was standard finale which we haven't gotten in a while but they got to throw in a little extra a little extra drama. I think they needed a little. The producers I think had a lot to do with the whole Aaron coming back situation.
00:42:43 I think the way that this lined up though is like perfect like bachelorette scenario right. Yeah. You get the love story and you get the bachelor that everybody wants. Yeah. Yeah. 100 percent. It really was.
00:42:55 They had all the right people. They did a great job casting this season. It was just speaking with her hands. Very much right now. Do you normally speak with your eyes.
00:43:05 It's been a lot more like Jen lot more gentler. The gesture a lot. Yeah. And I've been gripping this like I'm on a ride at Universal. Why.
00:43:15 It's it's just certain outfits. I have to adjust the way I'm sitting sometimes. OK. Even though if I just sat normally it would be fine. But sometimes I just these chairs screw me up. OK. Fair.
00:43:31 But I've gotten better since we've moved into the studio at first. Like when we first moved into the studio I basically cry about like the setup of of this situation just because we couldn't.
00:43:41 It was we were not used to it. We had a table in front of us. And then we changed to these big chairs. I wouldn't actually cry but like it was it was stressful trying to figure out how to sit in them because when we have guests come in you see how right now my chair is facing this way.
00:43:54 But you are this way. True. And so it's hard to navigate. I'm trying to talk to both of you at the same time. It's just what I mean. I do. I absolutely get what you mean. Sorry. Back to the bachelorette.
00:44:04 No you're so fine. The you're so fine. Murray burped earlier and I was fired up about that. Yeah. Well he's she's chillin now. We're good.
00:44:19 It was the perfect ending because they had the perfect bachelor come in second. Like it's like they just you know when you have that right there ready to go. Yeah. When it did it did kind of seem like maybe a little fake out.
00:44:34 I don't know. It really felt like she was going to pick Joey. It was just felt like she was saying a lot of very positive things about Joey. Her family seemed to lean a little bit toward Joey even though they refused to tell her what to do.
00:44:47 Which I like. I liked as well but she was upset about it. It was the right move though. Like because look what happened. She picked on it right. Yeah. And if like Charity's mom was like hey you know Don's great and all I think you guys are gonna have a great future if you do pick him.
00:45:02 But like I don't know we felt like there was more of a connection with Joey. That's all. Charity would always have that in her mind. And instead Charity's mom said we're not telling you. Well the family clearly liked Joey more. Yeah.
00:45:13 So I think if she had gotten the charity got the answer from them that she wanted they would have said Joey and then then she picks Joey and who knows what happens. Then it's the family's fault if it doesn't work out.
00:45:23 Yeah. Even if she doesn't say that it's in the back of her mind like you told me that you thought Joe was better but I want to. And then it's a whole mess.
00:45:31 In some venting sessions later on in life she would be like I listen to my parents instead of my own heart. So I think it was good that her mom was like just just you need to figure out what you want. She was like Charity was like well I don't know what I want.
00:45:44 And then her mom's like then that's the answer. And Charity was like I guess that's the answer. I was like all righty. It got contentious. But I mean Charity's sister straight up was like I see it more with Joey.
00:45:56 Right. So I'm sure now they've spent a lot of time together and the family has gotten to see Don and Charity and really at the end of the day it's up to Charity.
00:46:04 Yeah. No. Charity seems to be very happy with her decision and we can obviously talk about we'll talk about that more with her because it's like she you know that's it. She seems very happy. Beautiful proposal. Fiji's stunning.
00:46:17 Stunning. One of the most. Trent learned that's far too far for him to travel to. Yeah. You don't think you'll ever go.
00:46:24 I didn't realize it was right off the coast of Australia. Where's the farthest you'll go these days.
00:46:28 Depends on what it's for. Yeah. But I'll almost anywhere but Australia. OK. Australia is too much. Yeah. You got it. Especially when you fly from New York you fly six hours to New York.
00:46:40 What about like Tokyo. How far is Tokyo. Far. I think it's like flying to Australia. Dang. I don't want to cross it off my list but it's almost too far.
00:46:48 Yeah. I want to cross that off my list either. It seems like a really cool. I'll tell you what the mistake that we made when we went to Australia is we flew from New York to L.A. and our flights were so close.
00:46:58 We literally walked off in L.A. on and then on to our Australia flight. So we were on a flight for 24 hours straight. Yeah. We. How long is the flight from L.A. to Australia.
00:47:10 16 hour. Holy shit. Yeah dude. Economy. I don't remember. Probably. At that time probably. I. Yeah. I remember I was able to fall asleep on the plane which I can't sleep on planes.
00:47:24 But my body was like we simply have to. Yeah. You must. There's no choice. Yeah. So I slept for a few hours which was nice man. Dude I don't know if I asked you now or fly when you're leaving Australia at the airport like the customs agent or whatever they ask you.
00:47:37 They're like do you think you'll ever come back to Australia. And I said no. I had a lovely time. Thank you for having me. I will not be coming back. And did you see a kangaroo. I saw a bunch of kangaroos because we were like in pouches.
00:47:49 Yes we wanted to find them. We're like we're going to show you we have to find them. You just have to drive into the country and then just like walk around and you find them. They're actually like hopping around.
00:47:59 They are. But then there's like all there's a giant one. They're like Jack. They're like what are you doing here. Don't fuck with my people. Yeah. So then. But I like Australia. The only thing I'll say about Australia is it's very much like America.
00:48:10 Yeah it's very Americanized. You don't feel that different when you're over there. Like what. First place I ate when we got in because we got in like late or early I don't know the time change. I just went to Domino's across the street. So it's like I could do that on Long Island.
00:48:24 You know I realize that's like a lot of places really though. Like when I went to London like I don't know what I was expecting. But when we got on the parkway or the highway it looked like the southern state. Like I was like I was like this just looks like I'm on like yeah. Every single like park or a highway insert like looks the same.
00:48:43 In certain places. What is your European highway. I just thought I was going to be like you know like the highway in the UK and I thought it was going to be like magical. I was like expecting I don't know what I was expecting but I was expecting like dinosaurs on the side of the road.
00:48:59 Like I just was expecting something. And I looked around I was like huh. Looks like I'm on Long Island. Now I think if you went to Tokyo I think a place like that would be much different. Yes. But we went to places that are largely Americanized or they feel like America.
00:49:13 Yeah. So I don't want to go to Australia because it's like you've been there done that. You just walk outside my apartment. I feel like I'm you can check so many places off your list. Yeah. I want to go to Europe. That's what I want to do. I do more Europe.
00:49:24 London a little bit. It looks just like Long Island. No no. And once you get into like the city Spain England the English side it's really you need a bat. You need a luggage pole and like Paris or that would be great. Italy or something.
00:49:40 Paris you know. Yes. I would definitely go there. Yeah. But anything over like 10 hours. Yeah. What if we booked an entire trip. Right. Yeah. All of us together. And we booked everything for you. You would just come.
00:49:51 Or would you debate like the group of people you're going with. Like would there be some factors. Who is the group of people like us. I get in this room. Yeah. And then we're going to Europe. If we were it's a hypothetical if we were to go to Europe as a group and we were like Trent you're all booked. You're done. You just got to hop on the plane and come.
00:50:09 Yes I would actually say yes. I would say yes to that because when I went to Hawaii and I've talked about this on the golf show but the only thing that was missing from that trip is I just people more specifically and more specifically you know people I know more specifically just people to go to dinner with.
00:50:25 Yeah yeah. Yeah. Dinners were the weirdest part. No it's only that when I went to Puerto Rico because you're like you can't do your own thing during the day which I'm fine. Like if I if I went with people. Yeah.
00:50:36 To Maui or whatever. You could do something. Everybody go do whatever. I think everybody if you go on a group vacation some days you just got to do what you want.
00:50:42 That's me every day. If you want to go whale watching or you want to go to a zip line I want to lay at the pool. Let's all do different things. But dinner I think big dinners every night would be nice. Yeah. That was the part that I was missing. So in this hypothetical Europe trip that feels like something we could do.
00:50:56 I would do it. Yeah. I would do it. All right. I won't cut my hopes up.
00:51:02 Moving on. That's the right. Why the live show. Jesse Palmer was we had just Palmer hosting. I feel like we don't even have too much to say about about the actual show you know because the live show is always the dramatic parts but there's Barb and her and
00:51:18 what Peter Webber's father also Peter Webber I believe so.
00:51:22 Or I guess that's the bowler. Yeah. Also Peter Webber bowler.
00:51:27 So Barb was there. I just seemed like for show really no other reason. They locked us in. Smile and waved to the camera. Ria said it like as soon as you see Barb and we were going to watch anyway. But as soon as you see Barb I'm like well now I guess that's why they did it right.
00:51:41 Yeah they kept showing us why they're smart. They probably all sat around there like who do we need to invite to the finale. They're like let's invite Barb. They showed our gal and they see her.
00:51:49 They showed Barb's reaction more than they show charities families reaction. Speaking of charities family her brother was there the first episode. Yeah right. But then never to be shown under cover.
00:52:01 He was there on the cover. People were like oh we were expecting to see Charity's brother again. But maybe since he was at the beginning. Yeah. And I think maybe he is far Fiji to like me. He's like I'm not going there. Yeah. Yeah.
00:52:13 I'm not going to Fiji. Well well that's another question we can ask. You know that is very true. But yeah Barb being there really locked me in for the three hours because I was like Peter's up to something. Yeah. We started tossing around. We're like Pete's the next bachelor.
00:52:25 Now I know people around a lot of ideas. I would love it. I would. Yeah. If they announced I said this last night if they announced Peter's next bachelor I would have jumped out of my chair with joy. Yeah I think if we're talking whatever you would have lost it.
00:52:39 I would have gone crazy if we're talking power rankings for who I want to be a bachelor. It's Tyler Cameron and then it's Pete again. Yeah I think it's like one A one B for me. It's because it was so chaotic. And yes you cannot remake that kind of magic.
00:52:52 But I think something tells me he would like something about Peter just tells me he's the same person he was when he went on that show and he would make the same mistakes again. Yeah. And I'd be willing to watch it every time. I agree.
00:53:07 They did a little bachelor in paradise promo that's coming on Thursdays now. Is that a fit. That's a fit. Yeah. Everybody up every season. Oh this season first it was from from 9 to 11. And now we're getting back.
00:53:22 I know paradise. Golden bachelor on Thursdays whenever we ever watch a bachelor show on Thursdays. The strikes fault. It is. Yeah because they don't normally ABC on Thursdays they play Grey's Anatomy and Station 19 and the fall.
00:53:36 But they can't play it this year because there's no there's no program programming. There's no no new seasons being made no writings being in no writings happening no actors are acting written. Yeah.
00:53:47 Sarah just told me they might go into the new year. Yeah that's a problem. That's a no way past. That's a major problem. So that's what I'm saying like ABC. That's why they're like hey let's throw on golden.
00:53:59 Because this was a shift. It was supposed. This is not how it was. Right. Like the original Golden Bachelor announcement it was like oh this will air on Tuesdays like whatever. Now all of a sudden we're on Thursdays is because they have to. Now we're going to get a lot of reality program. What was that show. A lot of reality program. They had during covid. The music one.
00:54:20 Something your heart something in your heart. Listen to your heart. Listen to your heart. I was listening to your heart. Is that right. Listen listen to your heart. Listen to your heart. Wow. Wow. That's a weird.
00:54:32 And the people from that didn't really translate into the into the universe. No. I don't I don't even remember one of them.
00:54:40 One of the girls names was Rudy. Yes. Yeah. Somebody and also somebody fell in love in a good time for you. Yeah.
00:54:51 I remember love being made not made but love being made was made.
00:54:54 Where is your head. They made love in the guitar. Did they make love in the guitar. No they found love in the guitar center.
00:55:01 No that was a show that they made. But honestly we could have more shows like that. And then they cooked it up. They are there. I think everybody is. It's a scramble now. Do you think we can make a show.
00:55:12 Listen. Well now we're touching sensitive subjects because if we start making a show people are going to say oh you're not in on the strike. We are.
00:55:18 But if we need to fill a void for other people a reality show because we can't make it. We can't make a fiction show. It's not happening.
00:55:27 We make a reality show. Dead serious with me. We can't make a fiction. We can't make a lot of can we make a fiction. Why can't we make it because everyone's on strike.
00:55:39 Right. Because then we can act. We can write. We can direct. No that's disrespectful. Okay. That's what I was saying. That's where you reach sensitive.
00:55:47 Yeah. Like territory where people go. That's disrespectful. But we in a hypothetical world we could write act and direct in a world if we want to be a
00:55:58 ABC. But sure. I don't know really what's going on with the right to strike. Yeah. Let's just give those people what they want. Let's give everybody what they want so we can have I think normal bachelor
00:56:08 program. I think that's the general consensus besides the people that are like higher up there that don't want to give it to them. Well those people stink.
00:56:14 Give the people give the people they want to give people they deserve down trees so they didn't have shade. What in the strike. No they didn't. That's petty.
00:56:23 That's so petty. You haven't seen any of this. No I you know I've. It's so bad like it's not funny. It's like so taken aback by that they're doing that is so petty.
00:56:33 I'll look more. He's just always makes you think of the quote that there is a there was an anonymous exec that said that they will wait it out until people start to lose their homes.
00:56:43 What. Yeah. You were missing this. I see. I see headlines. Yeah. I'm busy with the golf. I know you are. We're very proud. If you're in Atlanta not to plug our own merch. If you're on the tour
00:56:54 championship go ahead and buy this. It's in the merch. No we're very proud of you. It's very cool. No they're leaving that all out. Yeah.
00:57:01 You can't. We're big fans of you. I'm big fans of you guys. Yeah. Huge. I was doing good here. Was there anything else from the paradise. That's what I was saying about
00:57:09 paradise thing. You know a little teaser. A lot of people we didn't recognize. We'll see what happens. I haven't heard. I kind of like I'm flying blind into this
00:57:17 season of paradise. Yeah I haven't seen a single spoiler. I haven't seen a single thing. Some flying by which I like. So I guess Sean isn't in it right
00:57:24 because they don't know. Maybe he comes in later. You know they were showing the preview and I was like I don't recognize like a single face or Blake
00:57:32 Morton's popped up. I was excited about that. Katie Thurston Katie Thurston Hannah Brown. Hannah Brown's obviously going to like host a date of some
00:57:38 yeah right. I mean she's in a committed relationship but it's Katie Thurston. No. Coming on to this show. Who has like a contestant. I doubt it. I highly doubt it.
00:57:48 I think she'd be doing something else but but who knows. I feel like that's like a let's scare Blake and then she leaves kind of like he's like my ex is here.
00:57:56 Right. That's that's what happens when Blake like finds a connection and like it's going well and the producers are like let's fucking have Katie show up. Remember
00:58:03 true fucked up. It was that Joe and Serena were like having this great connection and then yeah. They just blew Kendall down on real ruthless. And you know what
00:58:12 he stood his ground. Yeah I feel like it's the same kind of vibe you know. Same. So we'll see what happens there. There was it seemed to be a medical emergency for
00:58:21 one contestant who I did look up when I got home because I was like who is this. She was sent home on the first night of Clayton season. Oh come on.
00:58:30 Exactly. Come on. Exactly. Why are we the one that showed up. I showed up in like a bikini out of the rose out of the limo. My memory is. Yeah. I mean I only have it in my
00:58:41 brain now because I saw the photo. You know or else I would not have remembered. There's the thing about how long we've been watching the show. How many contestants
00:58:48 there are. I'm surprised I can remember anybody. Yeah I know. I'll like if there's like if I'll see somebody maybe I'll recognize him. But night one no way.
00:58:55 Yeah. No way. Yeah. So that's happening. Joey is the bachelor which I think everybody's very excited about. He's going to be a great bachelor. He got a haircut.
00:59:04 He looked fantastic. Everybody's freaking out over. Yeah I would because I was saying while we were watching the show last night when he was still on charity season he looks like that episode of Seinfeld where like the water pressure isn't right.
00:59:15 Kramer's house and Jerry's apartment and it just looked matted down. Yeah. But if you cut like part of it off and it looks way better volume was back the volume was the volume was back. Yeah. Joey's gonna be a good bachelor.
00:59:26 I think he is also. They did a weird thing with like girls in the crowd that were maybe going to be in his next season. That's always uncomfortable. I wish I would stop doing that. Just got to stop doing that. Yeah. Don't do it.
00:59:37 Make the show a half hour shorter. You know like there's no need to add that filler to hours with the amount of commercials they had. I know it's just it's just like you just don't need that filler in those moments.
00:59:50 Who is that. Like you got to think if you're ABC like is that grabbing people is that bringing people in. What's it doing. Because what's it doing. What's what it's doing to us for people who watch it. It's making us cringe.
01:00:00 I know. And it just makes us more tired to like it's like oh we're waiting for this whole big tease because they always say it's something so crazy. And at the end it's like hey here's an envelope. You can't open it.
01:00:10 That was it. Which by the way she should definitely open and say she lost. I don't know how you're going to keep that until totally you keep it open the whole time. Yeah.
01:00:19 I would open it immediately. Yeah. Or go in and be like up to a light. Yeah exactly. There's ways to open and reseal. What's in there. Right. Can't be anything that he said it wasn't a day car.
01:00:31 Automatically make it to the end. That's the only thing that would be like to work at something. Skip 10 spaces. Yeah. What do we think's in there.
01:00:39 No not a day card. What would. What stupid thing would they do.
01:00:45 Oh I say you know what I say from the first rose there. No I bet out of jail free. I bet it's I bet it's like a kiss card like oh I trade this in for one kiss. It's like
01:00:55 that would be so lame to do that. Yeah. Like what is that. He's got it. You've got to force a kiss on him. You have to kiss me. I have the kiss. I have a ticket. I have a kiss ticket.
01:01:06 All right. Maybe not. Maybe it's not that it says I get one kiss. But it's probably. Yeah. No it's probably not that.
01:01:14 No I kind of feel like maybe it's like a you're safe for the first first rose ceremony or something. That's a lot. That is a lot. That's too much. It is. What else could it be.
01:01:23 Which is also just like you not. Well obviously I run this tape back when it's a kiss card. I think it's going to be honestly I feel you are onto something. OK.
01:01:32 But I also think it's to be like you're safe from elimination. Yeah. Also just unfair because it's up to Joey. Yeah. Well I mean that's how you said that was that's how up to Joey.
01:01:44 But they love doing this shit now. That's like when they gave the the Brianna. What was her name. Yes. When they gave her back season when they had America's Rose.
01:01:55 She had a rose the first night already and we gave it to her. Not Zach. There cannot be an America's Rose. Yeah. That's what I'm saying.
01:02:04 Well see here's the thing. We have like we have September October November. We got four months to decide what's in that. And here's the thing. Now I really want to know what's in that card.
01:02:15 Maybe so maybe we can like don't worry I'll find out. I was going to say why don't why don't we like DM her find her Instagram. Bring her on open the envelope. Yeah. Yeah. What's in the envelope.
01:02:27 Well we'll figure it out. She can hand it to us. We'll open it. She won't get in trouble. Yeah. It was a good finale all in all. Yeah I was very happy for them.
01:02:34 It's one where you get a good ending like that is just like love wins. They get charity and dine are going on a beautiful vacation.
01:02:41 Grease got a trip to Greece out of this thing. He's going on dancing with the stars. He's going on dancing with the stars which I said during cutting stems makes me a tad nervous because sometimes the couples don't make it out of dancing with the
01:02:52 Gabby and what's his face dynamic. They did not. It's it's it's too much. And there's been many past ones. Nick and the girl Vanessa Vanessa. They didn't. I think I feel like Nick to dance with the stars then Nick and Vanessa
01:03:07 dated a while before they broke up. Yeah. But he was on days with stars. I'm just saying about Caitlin on the stars while she was with Jason. No I'm saying it did not end well.
01:03:21 I'm pretty sure one grocery store Joe was on days with the stars. He was still with Kendall.
01:03:25 Oh so you're saying if you want to answer the stars it's basically because of that. It's like the Madden cover. Right. Yep.
01:03:34 I it's just too much. Yeah it's it's just too much at once. Like Brown went on dancing with the stars and she was single. She was single. It was like that's the best way to go on. That's it. Yep yep.
01:03:44 Yeah I hope they were rooting for them. I really want to. And it just lasts forever. I was saying like what if she didn't necessarily want to go on dancing with the stars and they just sprung it on or like you're going on dancing with the stars.
01:03:58 She was like oh my God. It's like well I didn't even have time to think. Right. Right. She probably said at one point was just like oh yeah maybe I would do that.
01:04:04 Right. But when you just get engaged to somebody and then you can finally be in public together and now you're like oh wait now I have to go to do dance with the stars.
01:04:11 No but you're doing you're going to say yes. Yeah. You're gonna be like I can't say no to dancing with the stars. I say this as respectfully as I can. That show still has some cash.
01:04:22 Right. Sure does. OK. We're back on ABC baby. We were on Disney plus Sabrina's back to the big screen.
01:04:28 Really. Yeah. What.
01:04:30 Bringing us back. It was live on Disney plus last season and they said no bring it back. Have they announced the lineup like other big stars.
01:04:36 As of right now we only know that it's charity and Ariana from Vanderpump Rules.
01:04:41 OK. Yeah. So we'll see. But yeah. And Julianne Hough is the new host. Wow. Tyra Banks got the boot because she.
01:04:49 Oh did she. Yeah. Wow.
01:04:53 How all the time. How are you terrible at that job. She couldn't read a teleprompter. I don't think I've got a lot of names wrong. She had a she had a she had a why am I spacing on his name.
01:05:05 Steve Harvey she pulled a Steve Harvey and the wrong name on somebody being eliminated. She sounds electric. Yeah.
01:05:14 Did you guys ever try to read a teleprompter. It's also just like it became the Tyra Banks show you know like she had a big the outfit changes the mock like it was just teleprompters go really slow.
01:05:27 You can set the speed. It depends on. I get so anxious. I've done it once and I was like I don't like this. She was just the kind of host. We're not alive.
01:05:35 So it has to remind everyone that they're alive. You know you never. Hey guys you never know what's gonna happen. We're live. We're live. She probably said it three or four times.
01:05:43 Yeah you can't have someone make the show about them. They got to be a part. Yeah. No it's. And it didn't feel like she did that. She didn't immerse herself in the experience. Now Alfonso Rivero.
01:05:53 That's my guy. Yeah. He is co-host. Oh he's great. He has fully immersed himself into the dance.
01:05:59 He he is a huge golfer and he comes on our show a couple of times a year and he is he's an entertaining guy. You know what this is actually the time for me to do this.
01:06:07 I would like two minutes to discuss claim to fame. You guys have no idea what I'm talking about. OK. But I want the people to hear me on my thoughts on this show.
01:06:16 Claim to fame. Trent. Yeah. On ABC hosted by Kevin and Frankie Jonas. OK. Famous siblings go on and the whole game is like you got to guess who everyone's famous sibling is.
01:06:26 OK. Or relative. It could be an uncle could be a father grandfather whatever cousin second. This guy is skating through to the end because nobody can figure out who he is.
01:06:37 And these are the dumbest contestants of all time. If you're not up to date skip over this. But if you are these contestants know that this guy's and maybe and you know what's more embarrassing is like you either are your relative is either so famous that it's guess right away or they're not that famous.
01:06:55 And people can't figure it out. And then it's like that's kind of embarrassing or they're like like they're like famous from years ago and some people can like name any famous person ever and other people just like they cut off age and they're like is given the hint.
01:07:11 Yeah this guy is the sibling and not a sibling. The guy is a relative of a 70s teen icon. He had a Vegas residency. He wore colorful coats. He's from Utah. And those are like basically the big clues that you show with somebody else as well.
01:07:31 Like he had a female partner. Yes. I don't know if that's a clue. But yes yes yes yes.
01:07:37 I think I know the answer. And it's because I was in the room when you guys are talking about it. We were you were in the room. It's Donny Osmond. It is Donny Osmond. I could have played it off like I just knew but I wanted I was here when you guys were talking about it.
01:07:47 Would you have known otherwise. Do you know who Donny Osmond is? I know who that is but I don't think I would have. Who did he do the show with the girl. His sister. Is this whole family. Like they were a whole famous family. It was like Donny and Marie. Donny and Marie. Yeah that came to me.
01:08:02 So. All right. So my question. So here we go. So the contestants they all have these clues. They're throwing out names. Billy Idol Elton John. Not from Utah.
01:08:14 70s teen idol. Let me tell you something. When these when Ellen John was thrown out four of these people were like yes we got it. This is it. Like we nailed it. And they have a guessing ceremony and it's somebody has to guess.
01:08:30 There's a guesser guessy. If you are the guesser and you're wrong you're sent home and your relative is revealed. So this guy goes up there he's like look at him in the eye. He goes Elton John.
01:08:41 If Elton John's relative would be on clean. And like it was literally someone did say is Elton John from Utah. It's like oh my God. Would Elton John be considered a 70s teen idol.
01:08:56 It's honestly it is really unbelievably embarrassing. And let me tell you something this guy looks exactly like Donny Osmond which is why I think it's going to be so embarrassing. I think he's going to win.
01:09:09 And it's like that's kind of embarrassing. The only reason he won. People have guessed him three or four times. The only reason he's going to win is because nobody knows who Donny Osmond is.
01:09:17 How old are the people who are guessing.
01:09:20 They're younger. They're probably in their 20s and 30s. Yeah. That's the nobody's going to get it.
01:09:25 Yeah. Nobody. So it's just like Donny Osmond. But the thing is he is very famous that nobody's going to get him.
01:09:32 If me and you know Donny Osmond why wouldn't these people know him. Right. Or that you know that Elton John wasn't born in Utah. Yeah.
01:09:40 Got to know that. Got to know that. At the very least. I mean even Billy Idol is like a British superstar. You got it. You got it. You got to know which ones are from our country and which ones aren't.
01:09:49 At the very least.
01:09:51 But the way it was gold the way that these people freaked out when they thought about Johnny's son.
01:09:57 His fucking son. We looked at a picture last night. Looks just like I think the funniest. I like want to go back and watch this episode because I only heard about it and read about it online.
01:10:07 Was Tom Hanks's like cousin.
01:10:09 Yeah Tom Hanks is a niece or Tom Hanks's niece had an absolute meltdown.
01:10:15 Really meltdown. First episode.
01:10:17 For being like sent home or something like arguably the most famous person but it's like the really famous people don't get like their children on the show you know it's like they get a cousin or a or a niece or a nephew like that's my aunt.
01:10:31 Like you know it's not.
01:10:32 That was my next question. How involved are the famous people in the show. Not at all. Not at all. Wow. Maybe they do it. They send a video message when you say I can't imagine being like no.
01:10:42 They just put up a picture of Tom Hanks. Let's be real. Tom Hanks has no control over his like Lil Nas X. Lil Nas X his brother was on.
01:10:51 And like at the end he got sent home Lil Nas popped up and he's like that's my brother. Love you. Like so proud of you. Tom Hanks did not make that video message.
01:10:57 I think Tom Hanks just throws his hands in the air and goes I cannot control the rush.
01:11:01 She had a hilarious meltdown. Yeah it was like I should be here. Like it was it was great.
01:11:07 But it's really alarming what has happened in the last couple episodes and I needed to share that somewhere. And thank God I have a podcast to do that.
01:11:16 Yeah I'm actually I'm far more interested in the show than I was before. I didn't know. Yeah I mean and then sadly the other one I think is so blatantly obvious but they don't know it either.
01:11:26 They know that it's a. Oh can I try to guess. Yeah it's you'll know it in two. You'll know it immediately. A comedian. He was on SNL and he is on Curb Your Enthusiasm and it's not Larry David.
01:11:39 Jeff Garland. No he is. I will give you a hint too because it helps when you can visually see them. She is black and it's her relative. J.B. Smoove. Yeah.
01:11:50 OK. But they're not but they they're not. They are not coming up with his name. Yeah that's a tough one too I guess. But like you almost go why do we know it and they don't.
01:12:00 Well it is our job. True. You know that is like that does come into play. And yeah but they got when they got that clue like they really got like SNL Curb Your Enthusiasm the whole thing laid out and they have their like they have no idea.
01:12:15 Wow. Yeah. Interesting. Throwing out Eddie Murphy like they were just. Yeah no clue. No no clues. A lot of people don't seem to watch Curb on this on this show. This is a point. I can't wait for the new season.
01:12:25 But it's going to come down to those two because nobody nobody is going to be able to guess those relatives. Have you guys ever seen Coming to America. Actually no. I just watched it for the first time. Really. Days ago. Yes. Incredible.
01:12:37 It's like one of the best comedies ever. Right. Yeah. And I forget what I was watching. I've never seen it. Like I think a podcast brought up Coming to America 2 because I guess they made a remake that it was not a dog walk because I feel like they talk about that all the time.
01:12:49 What it was. But then I just I just threw it on. I think it was Sunday. Really good movie. Yeah. Breaking news. Yeah. I've heard great things. Eddie Murphy.
01:13:00 Arsenio Hall. James Earl Jones. Incredible movie. So for people out there check that out. We want to have heard about it a ton. This movie came out in 1980.
01:13:10 Check it out. A good one. Okay. That's I think that wraps it up on our ABC programming. We've got stars. Yeah. Claim to fame. You're welcome. Shout out to Murray.
01:13:25 All right. We have a great interview with charity and Dotton coming up. They are the winners. I got my nice cold Coors Light ready to go.
01:13:33 You know we had a little bit of a late interview with them. It is on Zoom because I don't know where they are. We're going to find out where they are but they're not in New York. So we had to hop on with them a little bit later.

01:14:45 All right, everyone, we are here with two very, very special guests. We are joined by Charity and Dotton from this season of The Bachelorette. Congratulations to you two. We are so excited to talk to you guys and we're so happy for you guys.
01:15:00 Thank you. We're so excited to be here. Finally free.
01:15:05 Out of jail. Out of relationship jail.
01:15:07 That is so true. Thanks. Thanks for taking the time. I know it's busy. I saw a couple of yawns. How exhausted are you guys?
01:15:18 I did see that as well.
01:15:20 Not gonna lie. We are very tired, but we're hanging in this. It's been fun. So that's the good part of this. It's exciting.
01:15:28 Yeah, I mean, as soon as it ended last night, it was like, boom, you're going on Dancing with the Stars. Everything's happening so fast. What has the past 24 hours been like for you guys? It's a big build up and then there's a huge relief at the end of it. And then another build up.
01:15:46 Yeah, the last 24 hours have been just kind of similar proposal full of emotions, right? Like it's another chapter closing. This time, obviously, knowing what I get out of it, knowing what we get out of it. And so there's the looking forward to the relief and then the freedom, like I said, to just be public and do normal things.
01:16:06 But yeah, it's just it was a beautiful moment to just think about the journey from filming to post filming up until that moment until we can finally just like let it go and let the world know about our love. So all the feels, but they're all great. And it's just continue to be that way.
01:16:21 Yeah, I've been floating, I feel like. So trying to make sense of my emotions. But like you said, very similar to just like proposal day, day one of starting all of this. Like it's definitely full circle. So right now just basking in it all and enjoying each other.
01:16:36 What was, you know, we got to watch the proposal and then obviously it goes right to you guys sitting there live in the studio. How did it feel watching those final moments back?
01:16:50 It was insane. Tears before we came out because that was obviously our first time watching it. And so just to like be reminded of what that moment was, like, obviously, like we both lived it and we were there in real time.
01:17:06 Obviously, like parts of parts of that I did black out, but just to be able to hear those words back and really just they have so much more meaning and weight now after just being in hiding for these months and just continuing to grow our relationship. Like it was a beautiful and pure, pure moment for us.
01:17:26 It was like you mentioned a really good point in terms of like hearing it back. Like that's how I felt in that moment. It's how she felt. But it's only been even more true right in the last three months of us getting to know each other more.
01:17:38 And so it just made everything feel so right as if it wasn't already, but even more so to make us feel like this really is the love that we feel and have. So yeah, just just was beautiful. Tears were falling down my face too. I'm like dehydrated from all the tears.
01:17:54 Watching that back, which I knew would happen, but I'm just appreciative of that moment.
01:17:58 Yeah, I think everyone can agree that watching you guys, you know, especially towards the end, everyone could feel your love. And and we were rooting for you guys. And at the end, we were like, this is a true love story that we're getting out of this show. And I think it was an amazing finale. Everybody can agree on that.
01:18:15 Now, Don, you mentioned that you like weren't too familiar with the show. So you didn't really know how this finale was going to go. You you don't know after the final rose. What surprised you the most? And is that like 100? I trust you. I think I think you're telling the truth. But I think a lot of people were surprised to hear that. And they're like, Hmm.
01:18:42 No way this man didn't do research. Yeah, explain it. Rightfully so. If I was watching, I'd be like, he's full of crap. But that was the truth. Like I said, I had really little exposure to the show. I'm not a reality show kind of guy. In fact, I used to like despise them. This is change. I'm changed now. I'm reformed. I kind of went with the Bachelor Bachelorette series. I think there's more control of the contestants than it actually looks like. But I had no idea. And so I didn't have enough time. Those two weeks I was too busy going through the process.
01:19:11 To even like watch an episode or look into it. The only time I had was that week before filming starts. I was able to watch a little bit of her season on Zach just to kind of get a little bit more insight into who she was. That was about it was just bits and pieces. But I didn't get to the end. So I actually had no idea. I knew it was obviously about love and finding someone at the end. But I didn't know if it was like you just end up dating or engaged or wedding. I had no clue. And so it wasn't until halfway through. I was like, so how specific and how this ends and they were like, it's an engagement. I was like, Oh, I don't know.
01:19:40 I had to put that hat on. But luckily, I was already kind of on the way there. Just from knowing who she was.
01:19:46 And that's like, very pure. You know what I mean? Like you got your true feelings and charity. I bet for you, you realize you're like, this is really his feelings and he wants to get down and propose and be with me for the rest of our lives. And like, that is really how you feel. So I actually think that's very sweet. And trust me, we do believe you.
01:20:07 So you said it was a very short amount of time that you had there. I'm always interested to hear people, you know, how they even got on this show. So what was your process like? Was was it a nomination or or your you know, how'd that go?
01:20:28 I wasn't nominated or recruited, really. My roommate knew someone from college, they were in a text thread. His friend was in the running, I guess he dropped out due to personal reasons. Said in his group chat, like, Hey, if you know anyone who wants to take my spot, let me know. My roommate thought of me, I fit the bill. And then he reached out to me and he texted me at two o'clock in the afternoon. I was just working. And then I remember it like, I thought he was kidding and like messing with me.
01:20:54 But he wasn't. But then I got a text from the casting agent. And then that was two weeks before filming started. So that's how everything kind of came up. It was just how I mean, it really does feel like fate, right? Charity, like it's like how you know, the stars really had to align for that to happen.
01:21:10 Yeah, I'm so grateful that that happened in the way it happened. It is insane to think about, but it definitely is fate for sure.
01:21:26 That is too good. That's amazing. And now, Charity, we learned from you, you know, when we first interviewed you and at the beginning of the season that you are an indecisive person. That's what you were most worried about. And what you want to accomplish the most out of this season was making a decision, which you did.
01:21:54 And it was a great decision. But obviously, we had to watch this all go down. I think there were a lot of questions about Aaron coming back. And you know, he was not even like the third, he was the fourth. And so he was allowed back and then you gracefully sent him home, you know, took him aside, sent him home during the rose ceremony.
01:22:15 What was the thought process there when he showed back up and letting him stay to fill out the rose ceremony?
01:22:35 I was like, did I do it too soon? And I always say like, I always wish I had more time. Like if I had all the time in the world, I really think like, obviously, this process works for what it is. But like, truly, you would maximize every opportunity with every single person. So when he got to Fiji, that was always in the back of my head. It's like more time. So I'm like, clearly this man flew over here. And it's like, okay. At that point, it was post the whole Xavier thing.
01:22:59 And I was fed up with that. And I was like, honestly, like, yeah, let me see if we can get there. I don't know what that will look like. But it's worth a shot. I think I would have probably been more regretful if I didn't take the opportunity. So that was kind of my thought process and all of that. And I think I got confirmation that like, yeah, like, much respect to Aaron, but it's just not at the level where I need in order to be like, yeah, I'm super ready for 100% engagement with.
01:23:27 It was almost like a double check. And I also have to give you credit for the conversation that you had with Xavier. I think everyone felt the same way, where everyone was just proud that you, you know, stood your ground. And you were like, hey, this is not gonna work. Like, I think I said that when we were talking about it on our show, that I think every girl has had that moment where they get like, really flustered with what's going on. And they're like, wait, no, like, this is not happening. And you could see it in your face.
01:23:55 And I was so happy because I was like, she cannot let this man stay up all night with her.
01:24:01 Imagine if I did. No way. No way. A couple years ago, probably Charity probably would have been, but here we are. Like I said, Charity Lawson in 2023. No way.
01:24:12 How did you feel about the knit rows at the Men Tell All? Because from our standpoint, we were like, sir, this is not, you are not the bachelor.
01:24:28 I mean, that's why I'm like, that whole panel, everyone was like, you know, doing what they need to do to get their rejection moment. But, you know, it was a sweet gesture. Obviously, you see me take it.
01:24:39 But, you know, at that point, I think it was just a way for him to feel, you know, better. And I wanted to provide that space for him to do so. Yeah, that's all.
01:24:49 And can confirm you don't have it anymore.
01:24:52 Can confirm it is not in my possession.
01:24:56 Your family obviously is a huge part of the finale. They got to meet the two men. You had your sister, your parents. I saw a lot of people on Twitter were curious as to where your brother was.
01:25:08 You know, he was the big star at the beginning of the season. And then they were waiting for him to show up. What happened there?
01:25:15 Yeah, we actually had a lot of like just conflicts around that time. My brother is a dentist, but he does like theater on the side. So he ended up having to do like a show. So he was like one like the main characters.
01:25:27 And so I was like, can the understudy like step in? I don't know. But he couldn't make it. So that's what he was off doing. But he we got to talk and chat and meet him right after. So we're all on.
01:25:42 We also saw in the finale, like Fran said, your families were heavily involved. And you had a conversation with your mom where she was like, no charity, you need to make this decision.
01:25:53 And we all said like, wow, major respect to her, because number one, none of our parents would be able to hold back their opinion.
01:26:00 And two, it just goes to show that you did what you wanted to do going into that season and to make a decision for yourself and your family helped guide you to do so.
01:26:12 And I think that was probably the best case scenario for you.
01:26:17 Looking back, like in the moment, obviously very frustrated. I'm like, you know, I just need something. Give me something, mom.
01:26:25 But I do respect her not giving honestly what she probably thought was best in her sense of whatever her take on it, because she only has a glimpse of the two guys from brief moments of meeting them.
01:26:39 But I've had this time up until that point to really get to know them. And so I think I would have regretted had I, you know, gotten direct answers from any of my family members about who they would have like, you know, sided with or lean more towards.
01:26:54 So very proud of myself for that. And I absolutely agree that I made the absolute best choice.
01:27:02 And Dotton, we all fell in love with your family at Hometowns. They were amazing. And your grandmother was just it was just it was such a great hometown.
01:27:12 And I'm assuming since you didn't really know a lot about this show, they didn't really know about this show. What do they think of this actually ending in a proposal for you?
01:27:23 First of all, I'm a little jealous. I feel like America loves them more than me.
01:27:28 But whatever, it's fine. But no, this I actually found this out again in the two weeks of the process and afterwards that my grandma, first of all, does watch the show a lot.
01:27:37 My mom watches the show as well, not too often, but often enough. So they actually had some insight into the background into who Churdy kind of was.
01:27:47 And I think that kind of helped ease the process a little bit. They're obviously still extremely skeptical. I'm like, this is not what we want for our son, per se.
01:27:54 We kind of want to be a normal thing. They're Nigerian, so it's like no nonsense. But I think once they saw us together, that's when they really lit up.
01:28:02 So, yeah, it was truly, you know, just a beautiful moment for everyone to kind of experience this particular part of it and being involved in it together,
01:28:12 despite them kind of knowing a little bit how things go and they see that it works. So hopefully that answers your question.
01:28:18 Yeah, no, yeah, yeah, it does. And how have have your parents, all your families got a chance to to meet and spend time together?
01:28:28 Or have you guys been kind of still undercover? A little bit of both.
01:28:32 So we have been in hiding a lot of FaceTimes, obviously, because we're just all over the place in the world.
01:28:39 But last night or at the finale, they got an opportunity, like our parents, to be together and his cousin and sister was there.
01:28:46 So that was like the first real time that they were all meeting and it could have not been more beautiful.
01:28:52 Like everyone just was just embracing each other. And it was like, obviously, like what we all wanted for our family.
01:28:59 So, yeah, it's perfect. What's going to be the first date night for you guys now in the public?
01:29:05 Yeah, you can answer that. What is it? I mean, what's the definition of a date night?
01:29:13 Like, honestly, just going to dinner. I mean, it's going to be a lot of little things, grocery shopping, dinners.
01:29:19 But we've got some fun stuff planned, some concerts ahead of us, a little bit of travel ahead of us.
01:29:23 Obviously, Greece is coming. So, yeah, it's going to be a mix of everything, just the little things and doing things together and riding in the same Uber.
01:29:30 You know, and from that and going to see some some some of the people that we like to watch on stage.
01:29:36 So, yeah. Is Greece happening before the Dancing with the Stars?
01:29:43 I'm like, we're hitting the ground running yet again. I don't know.
01:29:48 We have no we have not planned anything. So we'll squeeze it in when the time is right.
01:29:53 I think, like Jesse said, we'll definitely need it after the Dancing with the Stars.
01:29:57 So we might save it for a little treat. That is that is very true.
01:30:01 Charity, I want to ask you about like, you know, Rhea and I were joking, like, do you think she really had had no idea?
01:30:07 Like, was that a true surprise that you were asked to be on the show in that moment?
01:30:12 To officially join the cast? Absolutely. I did not know.
01:30:16 It was brought to my attention and like, you know, they were like asked if I was interested.
01:30:20 I was like, oh, my God. Yeah. Like, I love the show. But never at any point was it like, you know, you're going to do like, you know, I didn't know.
01:30:27 I had no clue. So to have him deliver the news, I was like, oh, this is the confirmation.
01:30:32 I was like, all right, here we go. Yeah, I was like shocked in that sense for sure.
01:30:37 Yeah. When we were watching, we were like, oh, my gosh, what if she didn't want to obviously want to say yes.
01:30:43 We were like, oh, no, now she has to do it. Imagine.
01:30:48 What I mean, we know, obviously, there's the the cheer background for you.
01:30:52 And we talked about that last time you were on the show. But what's like how how excited are you to get into the ballroom dance situation?
01:31:01 I'm so excited because I think like it's honestly a skill that is so like I don't want to say underestimated by how hard it is, but it's not easy.
01:31:10 So like I'm excited to take on it in that way to learn something new.
01:31:15 I'm no dancer, so it's going to be challenging for sure.
01:31:18 But I think the most important thing, obviously, is to have fun with it. And that's how I'm kind of just going into it.
01:31:23 Like, I'm not going to do anything perfect. I don't have anything to prove to anyone. Just embracing it and having fun. Yeah.
01:31:30 And you were I believe where you were living in New York before you did this show.
01:31:36 I still am. Yeah. Yeah. OK. OK. So that's you know, that's a bi coastal.
01:31:41 That's where you think you're going to spend a lot of time in L.A.
01:31:46 I'm not staying over there. Yeah. No, I know.
01:31:51 There is support and watch her while she's on the other stars after that.
01:31:55 We might relocate. Yeah. So he'll be with me. He'll be with me for it for that duration.
01:32:00 And then we might we might go back to New York. We'll see. Yeah.
01:32:04 You got some time to figure it out. You can go anywhere. Well, we would love to have you in New York.
01:32:10 You know, we're we're we're New York. So, yeah, yeah.
01:32:14 We're we're both. Ria lives in Jersey. I live in the in the city and we work out of our office in Manhattan.
01:32:21 So we love when everybody starts to there's more people who are starting to come live in New York and have that experience, which is always a lot of fun.
01:32:30 Right. Because sometimes you hear San Diego and then you're like, everybody's going there.
01:32:35 And I'm like, oh, San Diego for us.
01:32:41 Charity, I know like you got your happy ending. You have done. There was another guy at the end of this.
01:32:47 Right. Joey was not the guy for you, but he's apparently the guy for America.
01:32:51 So what do you think about him being in the next bachelor?
01:32:55 I think it's a fantastic choice, if I'm being honest. Like I said, so much respect and love for Joey.
01:33:01 I think he's going to do great. I really do. I hope that he finds his person.
01:33:05 And he's an incredibly intentional person. So I think his mindset going into this is going to be great.
01:33:11 He's going to be great. I know. And him are fairly close. And he has so much respect for him.
01:33:16 So I don't know. We'll see how I think it'll be a very interesting season for sure.
01:33:20 And we will be watching and supporting him. So.
01:33:24 And the guys this season really felt like there was not a lot of drama.
01:33:30 There wasn't really any big things, maybe, you know, something here or there with Braden.
01:33:34 And that, you know, but other than that, felt like everybody really got along very well.
01:33:38 Was that how it actually was? I mean, I'm going to assume the guys are posted all the fanatic as we've been up to by now,
01:33:46 because there's a lot of love in that group. There truly was.
01:33:49 We were able to realize that in the moment that like our times in San Diego was just amazing.
01:33:54 And the drama that you see was like nothing compared to like past season.
01:33:58 So I believe they cast it really well to, you know, give give her a fighting chance to find the love that she deserves.
01:34:04 And they killed it because all the guys I love in the death truly even Braden.
01:34:08 Let me write in. This really was a great season overall.
01:34:12 We thoroughly enjoyed it. And I think it had the perfect ending. Yes, I think so, too.
01:34:17 Yeah, I know we were saying that. I think they they did a great job casting and charity.
01:34:22 I know you've gotten a lot of compliments on how you handled this whole season and so well deserved.
01:34:30 Even, you know, on the men tell all we had this past bachelorettes come out and really just applaud you for what you've done, what you have.
01:34:36 And I think a lot of people have fallen back in love with this show again.
01:34:40 Watching your season, there was not a lot of B.S. added stuff.
01:34:45 I felt like a authentic love story again.
01:34:50 How nervous were you like now that you can talk about it?
01:34:55 Because we asked you this question when you were with us. It was like, how nervous are you for everybody to watch it now that it's over?
01:35:01 Do you feel pretty good about it? I feel great. I really do.
01:35:05 Were there things like, you know, that I could have done differently? Sure.
01:35:10 But I like I said, I have no regrets. And I think I handled every situation with what I knew at the time, the context, everything as best as I could.
01:35:19 And so now knowing like, obviously, I got my happy ending. He got his happy ending.
01:35:25 Everyone's happy. Yeah, it's just great. It's just great.
01:35:29 I think no matter like who or what, there's always going to be things where you watch back and go, I could have done that differently.
01:35:36 But I truly think you handled everything to the best of your ability. I think everyone felt that way watching.
01:35:43 Don, was there a specific moment that you were like, this is really going to happen? I'm proposing.
01:35:48 Like, do you recall any maybe there was a date or any moment that you were like, this is really going to happen?
01:35:54 Well, after hometowns, right, that's a big deal to meet the family. And, you know, I honestly went into hometowns already knowing that I think I wanted her to be my wife.
01:36:02 And I was pretty positive about it. But then the confirmation of my family, getting that external validation of like, no, you guys are something and there's something special there was huge.
01:36:10 And so that's when, like, for me, things really kicked off. And Fiji was a very as beautiful as it was a very somber experience and just settling into the emotions of like, my life is going to change forever if she chooses.
01:36:21 And so, yeah, it was a beautiful progression from start to finish.
01:36:25 How was Neil Lane? Did he give you help on picking a ring? Did you pick that one out yourself? It's absolutely stunning.
01:36:32 Beautiful ring.
01:36:34 No, Neil is the man because obviously I've had relationships, but never really got close to a proposal.
01:36:41 So I've never thought about rings and I had no idea what I was doing. I'm like, I'm going to just fall flat on my face with this.
01:36:47 But he has a purpose and a rhyme and reason for how he makes every ring. So I was going through each one, just explaining it.
01:36:53 And like the first couple were like really flashy. And I was like, yeah, that's just like, I don't know. It just wasn't doing it for me.
01:36:58 Then he brought this one up and he mentioned it. You know, it's classy, it's elegant, it's the oval shape.
01:37:04 And, you know, most of the diamonds are in the center at the heart, you know, inside.
01:37:08 And so just perfectly described her was this gorgeous person on the outside, obviously, but her real value just lies in who she is on the inside.
01:37:16 And I just knew that was the one I was like, you know, you keep going. Just that's the one right there.
01:37:21 That's so great. I mean, we watched we everyone watches the guy's face.
01:37:26 Right, because he says he says his his speech. And then there's the moment it's like charity has to react.
01:37:33 And you charity, you started talking and I still think, Don, you weren't sure where it was going.
01:37:40 And then finally, you know, you broke out into a giant smile and you felt like you got the clear. Were you worried there for a second?
01:37:47 Yes, I said, were you were you worried there for a second?
01:37:52 Because I feel like charity said a couple of things where you like you didn't know how to react.
01:37:57 I was extremely worried. And we talk about it to this day.
01:38:00 She's like she's like hates me for like being so concerned, not literally, but like because like, you know, when I showed up, like she did have a small smile on her face.
01:38:08 And I should have taken those as good signs. But I was, again, just so nervous about being devastated and heartbroken.
01:38:14 And if I've learned anything about the show is that like anything can go.
01:38:17 And I didn't know how strong relationship was with Joey and the night before she had mentioned it.
01:38:21 And that so some doubt in my head. And so I went into it just like trying to be even.
01:38:26 So I'm not like crushed if I don't end up with her. And so I just tried.
01:38:30 That's why I was keeping that face on it. But until she said those words and like, like, I want to do this thing forever.
01:38:35 I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:38:39 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:38:43 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:38:46 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:38:49 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:38:52 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:38:54 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:38:56 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:38:59 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.

01:39:08 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:39:11 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:39:14 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:39:17 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:39:20 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:39:23 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:39:26 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
01:39:29 And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever. And I was like, I'm going to do this thing forever.
