Tata Motors launched the facelifted version of the Tata Nexon SUV in India. The automaker already has very high expectations for the new Tata Nexon facelift SUV given the demand for its predecessor in the Indian automobile market.

00:00 Welcome to Drivespark, my name is Vedant Johari and the Tata Nexon ICE, the facelifted version
00:06 has been launched at a price of Rs 8.09 lakhs ex-showroom.
00:10 The Nexon ICE comes in two powertrain options, a petrol one with 1.2 litres and 3 cylinders
00:17 that puts out around 118 horsepower and 170 Newton metres of torque.
00:21 It also comes in a diesel powertrain option, puts out around 113 horsepower but 216 Newton
00:26 metres of torque.
00:27 Also, the diesel powertrain option comes with 4 cylinders instead of the petrol one which
00:31 comes in 3 cylinders.
00:32 Taking a look at the ICE version up close, it gets sequential DRLs in the front and it
00:40 gets angular fog lamps that we see in the EV and this variant comes with steel wheels.
00:49 Also on the side of the car we see a lot of body cladding as we saw on the EV such as
00:53 on the fenders, below the door frame, on the door frame and on the window frames as well.
01:01 Also at the rear we get this really small antenna and we also get the same roof spoiler
01:09 that we saw in the Nexon EV and underneath this is a hidden windshield wiper for rear
01:16 windscreen.
01:17 Now at the back, similar strip of the light that we have in the EV, we also get the Nexon
01:23 badging at the back.
01:24 Apart from that we get these two really nicely designed reflectors, again adding on to the
01:30 safety, the Nexon being one of the most safest cars in the market, scoring 5 stars on the
01:35 GN cap.
01:36 So this was the Nexon ICE from the exterior, now let's move inside the car.
01:44 As we sit inside the Nexon ICE, we get this really nice carbon sort of finish, it's not
01:50 really carbon but it has that slight look and has a very nice tactile feeling on it.
01:56 Also gets a two spoke steering wheel and just like the EV, once you switch on the car it
02:02 gets an illuminated Tata logo right in the centre of the dash and on top of this, this
02:10 version comes in a manual, great seeing a manual as we're only seeing automatics nowadays.
02:16 Comes with piano black inserts where our controls are, pretty much those are the only piano
02:22 black inserts.
02:23 AC vents are, we get this really nice finish throughout the dash that spans all the way
02:30 to the driver's side and in the centre we get this really big vent that's separated
02:34 into two, again adding to the whole cooling of the car and in the heat it would really
02:40 come into use.
02:42 Also this comes with a 5-speed H-pattern gearbox, also it gets three driving modes,
02:48 city, eco and sport just like we saw on the EV.
02:51 Apart from that we get storage space over here, here as well making it just a whole
02:56 lot convenient to use and the seats of the car is just a black glossy finish, it's a
03:03 really really nice interior, it's a very comfortable interior, seats are super comfortable as well
03:09 and yes so this was the Nexon EV from inside.
