00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark, I am Prameet and today we are gonna talk about traffic
00:11jams and yes news has come that in Prayagraj there is a massive traffic jam going on and
00:19that traffic jam is reportedly about 200 to 300 kilometers
00:36and why is that?
00:37That is because of the 2025 Prayag Mahakumbh Mela.
00:42Now a little bit about the Mahakumbh Mela, now the Mahakumbh Mela is a Hindu pilgrimage
00:48festival that is celebrating a full orbital revolution of the Jupiter around the Sun and
00:54specially this year that is the 2025 Mahakumbh, why is this important?
01:00Because this auspicious gathering of people, Mahakumbh happens every 12 years but this
01:07specially the 2025 edition of Mahakumbh, this auspicious day has come after 144 years.
01:16So this is a very very important and an auspicious thing for people who attend Mahakumbh every
01:2112 years.
01:22So this 2025 year has been really really great and because of that there have been an estimate
01:29of about 40 crore, more than 40 crore people have gone to Mahakumbh and if so many people
01:35go at one place you know what happens, there is a huge traffic jam, there is a sea of people,
01:42roads have been blocked, houses are having problem, shops, commercial, all everything
01:48has to be shut down over there, yeah so because of this Mahakumbh Mela this traffic jam has
01:54come across and it is a nightmare for some people.
01:59Now let me tell you a little bit about the traffic jam, so as I mentioned traffic jam
02:04stretching more than 300 kms blocking major roads and the authorities also had to stop
02:12traffic from Jabalpur to enter that place because of that massive massive congestion.
02:18Now the police is also actually requesting people to literally go back and not go forwards
02:24into Prayagraj because the scene is very very bad, I mean just imagine a traffic jam that's
02:31almost 300 kms long, you are waiting for more than 48 hours, that's almost 2 days, people
02:37are just standing at one place, I don't know if they have food, if they have water, what
02:43about your like toilet facilities, so everything is a major problem and because of that this
02:51traffic jam has taken place and why is this very important to some people is because from
02:57January 13th the Mahakumbh started this year and it will go up to February 26th and as
03:03I mentioned we are expecting over 40 crore citizens from India, outside India to take
03:10and visit the holy dip which they also call as the Snaan at the Sangam where the rivers
03:17Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati merge, so it's a very auspicious thing for some people but
03:23because of this as I mentioned that the traffic jam is just enormous, I mean if you are planning
03:30to go to Mahakumbh, you please think 2 times, not even 2 times, 3 to 4 times because I mean
03:37if the traffic jam is right now there, people are not moving left, right, centre, forward,
03:42backwards, so I mean if you are just going, you are just adding more traffic over there,
03:47so yeah, if you are going to Mahakumbh, I know it's a very auspicious thing for a lot of people but please take care,
03:55do your research before going or go at a time where you see that people have started moving,
04:01traffic has started moving, you will be updated on social media or various news organizations
04:06or on our platform as well, so if you feel and like this video, please give it a thumbs up,

04:15thank you so much for watching, take care, be safe and drive safe.
