00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark, I'm Prameet and in this video we are going to talk about
00:05the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition.
00:08Now this is going to be a video that we are going to discuss the top highlights that this
00:12vehicle gets.
00:13So let's start off with this video and first of all let me tell you a few days back Mahindra
00:18also launched the Scorpio and Carbon Black Edition and now they have come up with the
00:22XUV700 Ebony Edition.
00:25The prices for this vehicle starts at Rs 19.64 lakh ex-showroom and as the name suggests
00:30it is a blacked out version of the same car with changes on the outside as well as on
00:36the inside.
00:37Well this edition is very similar to the one that was launched in the Australian market
00:42and the New Zealand market where the car was called the Black Edition but in India it has
00:47been named as the XUV700 Ebony Edition.
00:50So let's talk about the changes that are there on the exterior, well however the car
00:55gets a full black paint scheme which looks absolutely fantastic and apart from that it
01:00also gets beautiful 18-inch blacked out wheels that go overall well with the car's stance.
01:07Now it only gets the skid plate that is finished in silver tone, well however we wish that
01:11the skid plate and the front logo and the rear logo as well would have been finished
01:16in all blacked out, the car would have looked really really nice.
01:19Now the changes on the inside is obviously you get a full blacked out interior that looks
01:24really fantastic, sporty and you get blacked out trims all over the interior of the vehicle.
01:30Now the variants that the Ebony Edition is available in is the AX7 and the AX7L but it's
01:37only available with the front wheel drive, however the AX7 gets features like Level 2
01:42ADAS, TPMS, Power Driver Side Seat with Memory Functions, Rain Sensing Viper, Dual Climate
01:47Control and there is a lot more features, however the AX7L variant in addition to the
01:53AX7L gets a Blind Spot Monitoring, a 360 degree camera, knee airbag, wireless charger and
01:58obviously ventilated seats.
01:59Now if you talk about the powertrain, the powertrain is available in both petrol and
02:03diesel, the petrol is a 2.0-litre producing 197bhp and 380nm, however the diesel is a
02:082.2-litre, it produces 182bhp, 420nm and both engines are offered with either a 6-speed
02:14manual or the 6-speed automatic.
02:17Now once again with that Mahindra has joined the dark or the black club which includes
02:22other manufacturers like Hyundai, Kia, Tata, Renault, Honda, Maruti and of course Mahindra
02:27has now joined the list.
02:29Now if you once again talk about the pricing of the XUV700 Ebony Edition, well the car
02:33stats are at a price of Rs.19.64 lakh with the AX7 variant and goes all the way up to
02:39the Rs.24.14 lakh with the AX7L Diesel Edition and all these prices are ex-showroom.
