00:00 Kayleigh, you can't blame this one on the dog. Kayleigh Cuoco is driving people
00:05 Cuoco. Like cuckoo. Let's do this whole one in cold open. Just keep going. Actress Kayleigh Cuoco shared this on
00:13 Instagram on the 4th of July. "Thank you, the pet handler, for taking care of the
00:17 squad while I'm out of town. 4th of July pups." But that American flag, a symbol of
00:22 all that is perfect in the world, is being desecrated by dog butts. People got
00:26 very angry. Greg Popovich said, "That's not a towel. I believe in the right to
00:32 burn the flag in protest as long as it is in context, but that's why so many
00:36 gave their lives for freedom. But this is not that. This is simply disrespectful.
00:41 That's a flag, a symbol of what people have sacrificed." So he's fine with
00:45 burning it? Cuoco has since removed the image and posted an apology to Instagram
00:50 that reads, "Yesterday I made a mistake by posting the picture that was taken of my
00:54 sweet dogs posing on an American flag. I sincerely apologize to anyone that was
00:59 offended by my previous post. This in no way reflects my feelings toward what the
01:03 American flag represents." One of the funniest parts of this controversy is
01:07 that Clickhole on the 4th of July posted this video making fun of the exact same
01:11 thing.
01:19 It's called, "This video of bunnies hopping around on the American flag is
01:23 meant to be cute, not disrespectful." Hungry for some actual flag desecration?
01:27 This happened this weekend too. 22-year-old Brighton Mellet was arrested
01:31 in Illinois for posting this photo to Facebook with the hashtag, "You better
01:35 burn that flag." On Facebook he wrote, "In this moment, being proud of my country is
01:39 to ignore the atrocities committed against people of color, people living in
01:43 poverty, people who identify as women, and against my own queer community on a
01:48 daily basis." He was arrested under an old Illinois flag law, but that doesn't
01:52 matter since the Supreme Court ruled in 1989 that flag burning is a legal free
01:57 speech expression covered under the First Amendment.
01:59 Meghan Tonjes said, "Bless! People want to be mad about dogs sitting on a flag, but
02:03 they will put on a flag bikini for the 'gram." OhMaphoo said, "The First
02:07 Amendment does cover flag burning. It just doesn't protect the burner from
02:11 getting punched in the throat though." For more trends like this, go to
