00:00:03 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:00:09 And we've been waiting for a while.
00:00:18 We've been waiting for 745.
00:00:22 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:00:25 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:00:45 So in the meantime--
00:00:48 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:00:54 But as you guys can see, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:01:22 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] let's start with Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:01:24 So what do you make of Vivek Ramaswamy going from cringe
00:01:27 ultra pro max to cringe ultra pro max on steroids?
00:01:32 It's like me being labeled far-right Hindutva ideologue.
00:01:39 No, but what do you make of his campaign as of now?
00:01:43 It's fantastic, dude.
00:01:44 I like it.
00:01:44 He's sticking-- look, he's basically--
00:01:46 I think he was aiming for the presidency.
00:01:49 But he's basically set it up in a way
00:01:51 where he'll have to be--
00:01:54 see, basically, he's going after the Trump constituency.
00:01:59 Yeah, I know.
00:02:00 Which is a very important constituency in this thing.
00:02:04 So if Trump gets it, he sees Vivek as a loyal second,
00:02:09 unlike, say, Pence or somebody else.
00:02:12 On the other hand, if, say, Ron DeSantis or somebody else
00:02:15 gets it, assume Trump gets convicted or something, right?
00:02:20 And what ends up happening is, to keep the flock together,
00:02:24 they'll have to take Vivek, because he'll become the flag
00:02:26 bearer of the Trump business.
00:02:29 Yeah, but what is interesting is that Vivek Ramaswamy has
00:02:32 clearly--
00:02:34 so look at it this way.
00:02:36 So who were on the debate podium?
00:02:39 Who were players in that discussion, right?
00:02:42 The Republican debate.
00:02:43 There was-- obviously, Ron DeSantis was the number one
00:02:46 guy.
00:02:46 So let's focus on Ron DeSantis first.
00:02:49 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:02:51 Did you see that video of he just--
00:02:53 [AUDIO OUT]
00:02:55 See, you have to look at what he's going through right now.
00:03:01 He would have been the most acceptable Republican
00:03:04 some years back, because he's an institutional Republican,
00:03:09 right?
00:03:10 But he's realized that the Republican Party has become
00:03:13 so anti-institutional, justifiably so,
00:03:15 given how the entire justice system is being abused
00:03:18 to go after Trump.
00:03:20 How is he even meant to remain institutional?
00:03:27 How?
00:03:28 It's the classic case of the right cannibalizing itself,
00:03:31 which is what happens in India as well.
00:03:33 But see, Abhijeet, what I'm not able to understand
00:03:39 is Ron DeSantis is very popular in Florida.
00:03:42 Ron DeSantis, before he ran for president,
00:03:46 was very popular as the so-called presidential
00:03:49 candidate across America.
00:03:51 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:03:53 They look good until they open their mouth,
00:03:56 and then they open their mouth.
00:03:58 And therein lies the problem.
00:04:00 But remember, he's still running second.
00:04:03 Yeah.
00:04:03 He's still running second in the polls.
00:04:06 So he's still got a chance.
00:04:07 There's still that large part of the Republican Party
00:04:13 that supports that kind of institutional presence
00:04:16 and not going too far off the rocker.
00:04:20 Yeah.
00:04:21 I don't think it's going off the rocker, by the way.
00:04:23 I think it's a very accurate assessment.
00:04:25 But you look at the polls.
00:04:27 Yes, he's consistently either number two or number three
00:04:30 in most polls, right?
00:04:32 But what does it say about Trump and his popularity
00:04:35 that without participating in the debate,
00:04:38 pre- and post-debate, his numbers remained the same?
00:04:40 Nothing changed.
00:04:42 Yeah.
00:04:43 And in fact, what happens is after he put his mugshot,
00:04:46 his popularity skyrocketed.
00:04:48 OK, yeah.
00:04:48 What did you make of that mugshot?
00:04:50 Let's talk about that mugshot.
00:04:51 How stupid do you think the Democrats were?
00:04:54 Don't they understand politics?
00:04:57 Look, they're caught up in an echo chamber of their own.
00:05:01 All these people who are claiming
00:05:03 that Trump was abusing the system for personal gain,
00:05:06 they are actually supporting this witch hunt of Trump.
00:05:09 See, what is the rule of law?
00:05:12 The rule of law is if you come across some wrongdoing,
00:05:17 you prosecute it.
00:05:18 Yes.
00:05:19 Committee after committee is being set up specifically
00:05:22 to investigate Trump and find wrongdoing,
00:05:25 which is the very definition of what
00:05:27 the USSR and the East German police used to do.
00:05:31 OK, committee is set up or police investigation
00:05:34 set up to go after people you don't like.
00:05:37 This used to be the great differentiator
00:05:39 between the East and the West.
00:05:43 They've essentially become the USSR.
00:05:45 It's that simple.
00:05:48 But what do you make of this entire case
00:05:54 itself against Trump about collusion and all of that?
00:05:59 It's very big.
00:06:00 There's less evidence I can see against Trump
00:06:03 than there was against Hillary Clinton.
00:06:05 And believe me, there's a heck of a lot more
00:06:07 against Hillary Clinton and under Biden.
00:06:09 Under Biden, there is too much shit against him.
00:06:13 So it's also the contrast.
00:06:14 It's not just the specific targeting.
00:06:17 It's also the contrast between what
00:06:18 is happening with Hunter Biden and what's
00:06:20 happening with Trump.
00:06:23 Yeah, to me, you know what fascinates me
00:06:25 about this entire shit show about Trump
00:06:31 is that, look, I've never made my side unclear.
00:06:36 I'm not a Trump fan, but I find him entertaining.
00:06:39 I've never been a fan politically, but entertaining.
00:06:42 But what I'm doing against Trump, I'll tell you why.
00:06:48 You need that kind of a disruptor to change policy.
00:06:52 And how?
00:06:54 Like, imagine the kind of peace he brought to the Middle East.
00:06:58 Yeah, that is true.
00:06:59 Who could have done that?
00:07:01 Had it been that same system of revolving doors,
00:07:04 the same kind of uni-party in and out thing,
00:07:07 you would have never seen what you saw
00:07:09 happen with the Middle East.
00:07:10 Of course, it was very convenient
00:07:11 to have Mohammed bin Zayed and Mohammed bin Salman
00:07:14 in the right place at the right time.
00:07:17 But it could have been done.
00:07:21 So you needed that.
00:07:23 You absolutely needed that.
00:07:24 On the other hand, Trump did, in many ways,
00:07:27 aggravate because the Dems went sending arms to Ukraine.
00:07:31 The entire training and arming of Ukraine was started by Trump.
00:07:36 OK, yeah, so the Middle East peace, I agree.
00:07:39 Trump did the right thing.
00:07:41 But then, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:07:43 Jerry or James Key on Afghanistan.
00:07:46 So Trump messed up Afghanistan, too.
00:07:48 It was not like Trump wanted to not leave Afghanistan.
00:07:52 In fact, the only difference between Trump and Biden,
00:07:55 as per that book-- and these two are no fans of Biden.
00:07:57 That book destroys Biden, by the way.
00:07:59 Everybody read the book Kabul.
00:08:02 I am insisting everybody read that book.
00:08:05 You will-- I mean, they have done
00:08:08 a thorough investigative work on what Biden
00:08:10 and his administration did in Afghanistan.
00:08:13 And if anything, India should learn from that
00:08:16 and know how dangerous American friendship is.
00:08:19 It's that damning.
00:08:21 But Trump also wanted the same thing, no?
00:08:23 Every time Trump wanted to withdraw,
00:08:27 these guys would prevent.
00:08:29 Yes, yes.
00:08:30 OK.
00:08:31 And remember, there was a big difference
00:08:33 between what Biden did and what Trump wanted to do.
00:08:37 Trump wanted accountability because he
00:08:39 felt that there was zero accountability happening
00:08:41 in Afghanistan.
00:08:41 There was no correlation between money spent and returns
00:08:45 on investment.
00:08:49 And remember, it was the Democrats
00:08:50 that used to keep going after him and saying, no, no, no, no.
00:08:53 You can't do this.
00:08:54 You can't do this.
00:08:55 You can't get out of Afghanistan.
00:08:56 It's surrender.
00:08:57 It's surrender.
00:08:58 It's surrender.
00:09:00 Remember?
00:09:01 So there would have been very significant differences even
00:09:04 in the withdrawal phase.
00:09:06 But I'm glad it happened under Biden.
00:09:07 I'm glad he prevented Trump from doing it
00:09:09 because it's a shame that Biden will have to live down.
00:09:13 I'm surprised it isn't being used more by the Trump campaign
00:09:20 really.
00:09:20 I think it will come out later on sometime.
00:09:24 It could be.
00:09:25 But as of now, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:09:29 But then I don't take any poll with that level of seriousness
00:09:38 because polls are a direction, not an absolute fact.
00:09:41 And one percentage point difference
00:09:42 is very bad news for Trump, even after the mugshot, by the way.
00:09:46 This is post the mugshot.
00:09:49 So even post the mugshot, only one percentage point
00:09:52 above Biden is not a good show.
00:09:55 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:09:56 No, no, no.
00:09:57 It's now become seven or eight percentage points, boss.
00:10:00 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:10:01 Yeah, yeah.
00:10:02 The latest one I saw was seven or eight
00:10:04 after the mugshot came out.
00:10:06 Latest poll after Trump mugshot.
00:10:10 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:10:12 Trump improves lead over Republican primary rivals
00:10:15 after mugshot release.
00:10:16 Abhijit.
00:10:16 No, no, no.
00:10:17 No, no, no.
00:10:18 I saw something on this thing, boss.
00:10:20 The-- [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:10:23 OK.
00:10:23 Democrat analyst says, yes, Trump's mugshot
00:10:28 helping him in polls.
00:10:29 OK.
00:10:30 No, no, I saw something on this thing.
00:10:35 Politico.
00:10:39 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:10:40 Politico is the best place.
00:10:41 They have a summary of all polls.
00:10:45 Wait.
00:10:45 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:10:48 I just keep scanning everything,
00:10:50 because you never know, no?
00:10:52 And somehow I don't trust Politico either.
00:10:54 Anyway, I can't find it now, but it's somewhere on my timeline.
00:11:04 I think I retweeted it.
00:11:06 OK.
00:11:07 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:11:19 Pierre is so far ahead of Justin Trudeau.
00:11:23 Yeah, 38%.
00:11:24 Pierre is 38%, and Justin Trudeau is around--
00:11:29 20-something.
00:11:30 20-something percent.
00:11:31 And in one poll, Pierre Pellivier
00:11:33 is like 41% or 42%, and Justin Trudeau is down to 25%.
00:11:38 Yeah.
00:11:39 Yeah, so it was very interesting.
00:11:41 At least in Canada, it is quite clear
00:11:43 that Pierre Pellivier is the leading lead.
00:11:47 But the irony of Canada is, even after being
00:11:49 miles ahead in the polls, he may still not be the PM,
00:11:53 and they will have a coalition government.
00:11:56 Remember, even the last election,
00:11:58 Justin Trudeau technically lost it.
00:12:00 He only managed to make the government because
00:12:02 of Hagmeet Singh.
00:12:05 Yes.
00:12:07 Oh, can we discuss this third-rated statement
00:12:09 by the Hagmeeta?
00:12:11 I'm going to play it for everyone.
00:12:13 Where is Sham, yeah?
00:12:15 I know he had a--
00:12:16 His computer has gone for a toss.
00:12:19 Don't you see?
00:12:19 He's in the studio, but he still can't join us
00:12:22 because his mic and this thing, it's become super slow.
00:12:25 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:12:29 Yeah, I'll tell him to join from the phone.
00:12:31 Let him try.
00:12:32 This is his last shot.
00:12:33 Let him try.
00:12:34 But did you hear what he does here?
00:12:37 Just listen to this piece of shit.
00:12:40 Just listen to him.
00:12:40 It's a two-minute clip.
00:12:41 Listen to him.
00:12:43 May I ask you, what are your thoughts
00:12:45 about the recent Palestinian attack on the Hindu temple
00:12:47 in Surrey?
00:12:49 We're opposed to any violence against communities.
00:12:52 Communities shouldn't-- we don't want to see violence
00:12:54 against people.
00:12:55 That's always wrong.
00:12:57 And any time there is those type of disruptions or violence
00:13:01 or communities are fighting each other,
00:13:03 we lose sight of our real goal, which
00:13:05 is to tackle the inequality in society,
00:13:07 the fact that the super-rich keep on getting richer
00:13:09 and making everyone fall behind, the fact
00:13:11 that our grocery prices keep on going up
00:13:13 and working people are struggling.
00:13:15 So when there's violence or struggles between communities,
00:13:20 we lose sight of the bigger problems, which
00:13:22 are the problems that we all are in the fight together.
00:13:24 And in your opinion, what impact these incidents
00:13:27 might have on relations between Canada and India?
00:13:31 Well, in terms of relationships with India,
00:13:33 I think India is a country that has a very abysmal human rights
00:13:37 track record.
00:13:38 And we've been long calling for a strong sanction
00:13:43 and strong language that condemns
00:13:47 the abuses of human rights.
00:13:49 Whether it's treatment of women in India,
00:13:51 systemically there's abuse of the rights of women.
00:13:54 Whether it's the abuse of rights of minority communities
00:13:57 based on religion, based on caste,
00:14:00 there continues to be ongoing--
00:14:02 Based on caste.
00:14:03 And the current government is a government
00:14:05 that is clearly promoting a very divisive rhetoric.
00:14:11 They're designing and building a country where
00:14:14 they are promoting violence against minority communities,
00:14:17 promoting a country that is not welcoming to people
00:14:21 that are different.
00:14:23 And that is a very big problem.
00:14:24 And Canada and other international community
00:14:27 members, countries should condemn
00:14:29 that type of policy that is divisive,
00:14:31 that is dividing people, and that
00:14:34 is based on oppressing minority communities.
00:14:37 That should be condemned.
00:14:38 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:15:01 What do you think of the Khalistani attacks,
00:15:04 first of all?
00:15:05 Full marks to the reporter for using the word Khalistani.
00:15:09 And he refused to answer the question.
00:15:11 He sidestepped it completely.
00:15:13 Yes.
00:15:14 No, the question started with Khalistani attack,
00:15:17 and his answer ended with human rights in India.
00:15:20 Communities fighting each other.
00:15:22 Yeah, communities fighting each other and human rights,
00:15:25 women's rights in India.
00:15:26 How the fuck do you get from Khalistani attack
00:15:29 on Hindu temple to women's rights in India?
00:15:31 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:15:32 Let us take each and everything that this piece of human debris
00:15:36 says, right?
00:15:38 He talks about caste.
00:15:39 Jackass, your entire movement, Khalistan,
00:15:42 is off the jut by the jut for the jut.
00:15:46 Yeah.
00:15:46 You asshole.
00:15:47 Yeah.
00:15:49 But he's never going to talk about that, no?
00:15:51 Yeah.
00:15:52 No wonder he's Hagmeeth.
00:15:54 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:15:56 Why don't any Khalistanis accommodate any Hindus?
00:15:59 Why don't any Khalistanis ever talk about [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:04 They never talk about what will happen to minorities
00:16:07 when Khalistan comes into existence.
00:16:09 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:11 Minorities.
00:16:13 Jackass.
00:16:15 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:18 And yeah, Stephen Harper [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:20 The amount of groundwork that Stephen Harper had laid
00:16:23 in terms of developing better India-Canada relations.
00:16:27 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:30 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:31 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:33 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:34 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:35 Imagine that.
00:16:37 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:16:39 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:17:03 Congratulations to the Indian-Americans,
00:17:05 because Bill SB403 has been passed, I think,
00:17:13 by the Canadian--
00:17:15 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:17:16 It's now official, or has it just been passed in one house?
00:17:19 Yes.
00:17:20 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:17:21 It's official now, right?
00:17:22 Yeah.
00:17:22 So yeah, massive congratulations to Indian-Americans.
00:17:26 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:17:27 They tried very hard to be part of the same victimhood complex
00:17:33 group, but it didn't seem to work.
00:17:37 So yeah, good luck for the future.
00:17:39 Good luck getting jobs.
00:17:40 Good luck getting surveilled by the Californian government.
00:17:44 Good luck being surveilled by the Washington government,
00:17:47 by the Oregon government.
00:17:50 And yeah, have fun.
00:17:52 Have fun trying to be a victim now.
00:17:54 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:17:57 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:17:58 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:00 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:03 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:04 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:07 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:09 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:10 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:11 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:13 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:15 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:18 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:19 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:21 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:23 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:24 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:28 I don't even know how you delay--
00:18:33 your computer is going to do--
00:18:36 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:38 So I don't know how you schedule updates.
00:18:40 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:43 I don't know how to do that.
00:18:45 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:47 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:49 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:50 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:51 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:52 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:54 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:18:55 [LAUGHTER]
00:18:57 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:19:00 It's very clear that Shyam was making out with Trishki
00:19:03 Bhabhi before he came.
00:19:04 [LAUGHTER]
00:19:07 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:19:09 Last week's show flopped only because Shyam
00:19:11 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:19:13 [LAUGHTER]
00:19:16 [LAUGHTER]
00:19:19 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:19:27 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:19:30 By the way, this is--
00:19:49 I can tell you, I can exclusively reveal to you
00:19:52 that Shyam is planning on bringing Audrey to India
00:19:57 because he wants her on a lecture tour of India.
00:20:00 Yes, that's correct.
00:20:02 So remember, all our viewers, part of your funding
00:20:05 to the Shyam Sharma show is going to pay for Audrey to--
00:20:08 Well, what I want to do is I want
00:20:10 her to experience empty theaters all across India.
00:20:13 So I want her to see empty auditoriums in Delhi,
00:20:16 empty auditoriums in Jaipur.
00:20:18 Actually, what's going to happen is--
00:20:20 It's going to be called the empty auditorium tour.
00:20:22 Because I bet you, I bet you, 90% of Audrey's followers
00:20:27 and Rana Ayyub's followers are all bloody Sangees.
00:20:29 [LAUGHTER]
00:20:30 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:20:32 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:20:34 But on a very serious note, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:20:49 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:20:54 Yes.
00:20:54 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:20:57 Yes.
00:21:05 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:21:07 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:21:09, yes.
00:21:11 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:21:13 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:21:37 Yes.
00:21:39 So North America, basically.

00:21:44 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]

00:22:39 Yeah.
00:22:40 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:22:41 Hello.
00:22:48 [LAUGHTER]
00:22:49 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:22:50 Hello.
00:22:51 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:22:53 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:22:55 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:22:57 And you have the interest of sponsoring the show.
00:23:00 And you want to sponsor it, we are more than welcoming you.
00:23:04 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:06 Yes.
00:23:06 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:08 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:10 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:12 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:13 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:15 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:17 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:20 And once again, I want to congratulate everyone
00:23:25 in California on the passing of the--
00:23:28 Please, I want to hear more.
00:23:30 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:31 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:33 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:23:59 By the way, for the record, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:02 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:05 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:08 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:10 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:12 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:14 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:17 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:18 So yes, congratulations to Rokhanna and all the Hindus
00:24:22 of California on the passing of this wonderful bill.
00:24:26 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:27 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:29 Ultimately, ultimately, Hindus are getting
00:24:32 exactly what they deserve.
00:24:34 Yes.
00:24:35 You've got your comeuppance.
00:24:37 I wish more of this on you.
00:24:39 All you California Hindus, you've
00:24:41 gotten exactly what you deserve.
00:24:42 Now enjoy yourselves.
00:24:44 Yeah.
00:24:45 Yes, absolutely.
00:24:47 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:24:50 And start losing your jobs and your green cards.
00:24:53 And get permanently blacklisted and have an internet campaign
00:24:58 run against you, which destroys your families.
00:25:00 I will be sitting here and laughing
00:25:03 because you people are getting exactly what you bloody
00:25:05 deserve.
00:25:07 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:10 Let's talk about the [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:19 of the Hindu.
00:25:21 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:23 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:27 Deeply Hindu phobic remarks.
00:25:29 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:31 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:34 Anti-Hindu.
00:25:35 Anti-Hindu remarks.
00:25:37 He's a devil worshiper, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:25:40 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:42 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:43 Republican debates.
00:25:44 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:47 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:25:50 Rama swami, right?
00:25:52 Rama swami.
00:25:54 Rama swami.
00:25:55 And then somebody else co-tweeted,
00:25:57 which she approved of, Rama scamming.
00:26:00 Yeah, and then she apologized for the record.
00:26:03 But there was this another Jack Aswa.
00:26:06 And he made the most racist remark.
00:26:10 How many of you looked at that Jack Aswa?
00:26:13 And I'm calling him a Jack Aswa in our style.
00:26:17 This handle was Kevin M. Cruz.
00:26:20 The replies are making a strong case for court.
00:26:23 Rama, lama, ding dong.
00:26:25 Oh, yeah, I did see that.
00:26:26 And I have to agree.
00:26:27 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:26:30 Kevin Chache, a person like me, has received real life death
00:26:43 threats on a phone call.
00:26:47 On a phone call.
00:26:49 Not on the internet.
00:26:51 So shut the fuck up.
00:26:54 Stop your racist bullshit.
00:26:56 All it took was one Hindu to say, I'm a conservative,
00:27:00 and I'm a conservative, and I'm an American nationalist.
00:27:02 Yes, Vivek Rama swami said, I think America matters.
00:27:06 Nothing else matters.
00:27:07 Isn't that what every American is supposed
00:27:09 to think, that America matters?
00:27:12 If you look at what Americans often talk about,
00:27:16 like a dream immigrant, is an immigrant
00:27:18 that completely assimilates.
00:27:20 What is a better example of an immigrant completely
00:27:24 assimilating than somebody like Vivek Rama swami?
00:27:26 Oh, yeah, he's so assimilated that he's even
00:27:28 [INAUDIBLE]
00:27:29 This is where I disagree.
00:27:31 This is where I disagree.
00:27:32 Yeah, that's true.
00:27:33 No, I'm sorry.
00:27:33 That's how much he's assimilated.
00:27:36 He is not assimilated.
00:27:37 Jindal and this one are assimilated.
00:27:40 Jijas.
00:27:41 Jijas.
00:27:43 He's integrated, not assimilated.
00:27:45 Sure, very good.
00:27:46 Very good.
00:27:46 I agree.
00:27:47 That's a good point.
00:27:48 Integrated is where your cultural identity
00:27:51 remains intact, which for Vivek, it has.
00:27:53 He's very proud of it.
00:27:54 Yes.
00:27:55 Assimilation is basically a cultural genocide
00:27:58 that wipes out your cultural identity.
00:28:00 Yeah.
00:28:02 Yeah, exactly.
00:28:02 Bobby Jindal.
00:28:03 Bobby.
00:28:04 [INAUDIBLE]
00:28:06 Who incidentally used to eat ethnic food.
00:28:10 Oh my god.
00:28:11 Yeah, I remember.
00:28:12 Do you remember ethnic food?
00:28:14 Yeah, did you have chutney?
00:28:16 Did he have that amazing ethnic chutney?
00:28:18 What's amazingly ironic is the guy
00:28:21 that gave up his cultural heritage almost completely
00:28:24 for political reasons has absolutely
00:28:26 no chance of getting anywhere near the presidentship.
00:28:30 Hallelujah to that.
00:28:31 That's the funniest part about this.
00:28:32 There was a fantastic meme about it, which was what?
00:28:36 It was Piyush Jindal saying, damn,
00:28:40 you mean I didn't have to convert?
00:28:44 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:28:48 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:28:50 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:28:55 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:28:58 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:29:00 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:29:04 But the point that I was--
00:29:06 But what did you make of the fight between Nikki Haley
00:29:09 Shyam and [INAUDIBLE]
00:29:11 That was the most fun part of the debate.
00:29:14 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:29:15 Fuck you.
00:29:15 You fucking bastard boy.
00:29:17 Oh, bastard bitch.
00:29:18 Fuck you, bastard bitch.
00:29:22 Fuck you, bloody.
00:29:23 No, fuck you, bloody.
00:29:26 There were only two Indians fighting on the stage.
00:29:32 But you have to admire the fact that Indians have risen up
00:29:37 in the Republican Party.
00:29:38 Yes, let's talk about that.
00:29:41 They've had so many Indian governors.
00:29:43 It doesn't matter if they're Christian.
00:29:45 Nikki Haley, Bobby Jindal.
00:29:47 Bobby.
00:29:48 Bobby.
00:29:49 It's not Bobby.
00:29:50 It's Bobby.
00:29:51 Bobby Jindal.
00:29:52 Bobby Jindal.
00:29:54 Now, Vivek is getting a huge bloody voter
00:29:57 base in the Republican Party.
00:30:01 The thing is, it completely busts this whole racism argument.
00:30:05 And the people most opposed to Indian politics in America
00:30:10 are actually the Hispanics, very surprising.
00:30:14 Really?
00:30:15 Yeah, Hispanics and, to a lesser extent,
00:30:18 Blacks, but mostly Hispanics.
00:30:21 Yeah, so it's actually quite curious
00:30:24 that even though they are not in competing income categories,
00:30:29 because Indians are much higher up the income ladder
00:30:31 than Hispanics are, the Hispanics
00:30:34 were the primary beneficiaries of Christian evangelical
00:30:42 and the need to brownwash the white Republican Party.
00:30:48 And they feel that that entire platform is actually
00:30:52 being taken away by this thing, by the Indians.
00:31:00 Really?
00:31:01 Yeah.
00:31:02 So a lot of the thing within the Republicans, in fact,
00:31:05 to Indian candidates comes from Hispanics.
00:31:07 Less so Black people, but mostly Hispanics.
00:31:10 OK.
00:31:11 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:31:17 I've added some of them in the meme review,
00:31:19 but we'll cover it there.
00:31:21 But the funniest thing has been the meltdowns of the British.
00:31:28 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:31:31 Even the Pakistanis have kind of like a gallows humor
00:31:34 attitude about it.
00:31:36 But the British seem to be the most mad about it.
00:31:38 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:31:43 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:31:46 Has been the best of the lot.
00:31:48 And I just admit, they have been the best.
00:31:53 You know, underdog humor is always the best.
00:31:57 Yeah.
00:31:57 Yes.
00:31:58 It's like how the best spoofs of Indians
00:32:01 actually come from West Africa.
00:32:03 Yes.
00:32:04 I love them.
00:32:06 They are the best.
00:32:08 We treat them the worst, and yet they're
00:32:10 the only ones who have any respect for you.
00:32:13 And they're the one that actually spoof you
00:32:15 in a culturally sensitive, really hilarious way.
00:32:18 Yeah.
00:32:19 Right?
00:32:22 But that's the way it is.
00:32:24 So it's--
00:32:25 I think it's because they understand Indian culture.
00:32:28 They understand the little nuances
00:32:30 that make those serials funny, which is why they're
00:32:34 able to spoof it so well.
00:32:36 But I don't think Indians think those serials are funny.
00:32:39 They actually take them seriously.
00:32:41 I know.
00:32:41 Exactly.
00:32:42 Auntie-G will watch it with complete seriousness.
00:32:44 But they understand--
00:32:46 My mom--
00:32:47 --why it's serious to them.
00:32:48 Yeah.
00:32:48 My mom, who taught me how to read
00:32:51 some of the most complex books like Nietzsche
00:32:53 and whatnot shit, sitting for two, three hours every evening
00:32:57 watching these serials.
00:32:58 And she gets irritated if I start making fun.
00:33:01 You know, if I'm just--
00:33:02 what is this shit?
00:33:04 She's like, do I interrupt you while you're watching?
00:33:06 Go away.
00:33:07 This is something very serious.
00:33:08 And then every one of them is about the mother-in-law
00:33:11 torturing the daughter-in-law.
00:33:13 OK?
00:33:13 Everyone, without exception.
00:33:15 Yeah.
00:33:16 And when it's happening, she's like, oh, pavo.
00:33:20 Feels so bad.
00:33:21 I'm sad.
00:33:22 I'm like, it's such bad acting, mommy.
00:33:24 What the hell's the matter with you?
00:33:25 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:33:26 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:33:28 And they come up with new ways to do it also.
00:33:31 They come up with new ways to torture the daughter-in-law.
00:33:35 You know, because you can't do the same thing
00:33:37 that [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] did like 20 years ago.
00:33:40 You have to do something new.
00:33:42 The funniest was [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:33:43 and she got entangled in the curtain and--
00:33:45 [LAUGHTER]
00:33:48 Yeah.
00:33:49 There was another one.
00:33:50 There was another really good one
00:33:51 where the daughter-in-law accidentally
00:33:53 washes the laptop in the dishwasher or something
00:33:56 or in the washing machine.
00:33:57 Yeah.
00:33:58 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:00 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:02 And she put it in the washing machine.
00:34:05 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:07 And then there was that famous line,
00:34:09 remember, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:11 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:12 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:13 And you know, they made such a big issue out of non-issues.
00:34:17 Somebody was in the kitchen, so what?
00:34:20 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:22 But the matriarch needs to know.
00:34:25 The matriarch must know.
00:34:26 Matriarch needs information.
00:34:27 That's how she controls the household, information.
00:34:33 But the funny thing to me is--
00:34:39 Honestly, yeah.
00:34:41 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:43 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:51 I don't think--
00:34:52 I've seen people do it.
00:34:55 I've seen--
00:34:55 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:34:57 Yeah.
00:34:59 There was a family that owned some stores in Patna.
00:35:05 And we went to their house for dinner one time.
00:35:07 And the lady was fully decked out in sari, gold jewelry,
00:35:11 and she was in the kitchen cooking.
00:35:12 So it might be exaggerated, but there are people like this.
00:35:16 There are people like this out there in the world.
00:35:19 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:35:26 What seems interesting to me, the last thing
00:35:29 I want to talk about with the Chandrayaan thing,
00:35:31 and then we can go to watch the memes.
00:35:34 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:35:35 But the last thing that it surprised me a little bit--
00:35:40 I don't think it's surprised, but it just stands out--
00:35:45 because the Chandrayaan 3 is not--
00:35:47 yes, it is the Modi government's achievement technically.
00:35:50 But it really is ISRO's achievement.
00:35:53 It's India's achievement.
00:35:54 It's a very proud thing for India.
00:35:56 Most Indians were quite happy with it.
00:35:58 But there's always a group of people
00:36:00 that are genuinely upset that Chandrayaan won.
00:36:05 They were hoping and praying [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:36:10 I don't understand that mentality,
00:36:12 because I'm sure--
00:36:16 I think social media has politicized the discourse
00:36:18 to an extent [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:36:22 So some people may have said [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:36:26 But why over Chandrayaan?
00:36:30 There's so many things that you can politicize the discourse
00:36:32 over, but I feel like you will have absolutely no support
00:36:37 for something when you badmouth Chandrayaan,
00:36:39 because the people of India are so strongly behind it.
00:36:42 They're so strongly hoping for it to succeed.
00:36:45 So you're basically screaming into the ether.
00:36:48 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:36:49 But some people still do it.
00:36:51 I don't get it.
00:36:54 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:36:56 I mean--
00:36:57 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:37:01 Yeah.
00:37:02 I mean, it's very hard to explain.
00:37:06 At times, I feel human stupidity is
00:37:08 the only consistent feature that we find in the entire world.
00:37:11 So the reactions I have seen post-Chandrayaan
00:37:18 in the Indian left and the Indian non-left,
00:37:21 from the, why does the scientist go to a temple,
00:37:25 to our scriptures know everything,
00:37:29 has exposed me to such a plethora of [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:37:36 Why do we need to go to the moon?
00:37:38 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:37:40 Why do we need to go?
00:37:41 On one side, we have a self-hating asshole in the left.
00:37:47 And on the other hand is a deeply inferiority complex
00:37:51 ridden jackass in the right.
00:37:53 That's all I can say.
00:37:54 But I just throw the ball to Abhijit.
00:37:56 Let him shit on these.
00:37:57 Abhijit, what do you make of the whole claim
00:37:59 that [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] why are they going to the moon?
00:38:05 So look, this is the food versus arms binary.
00:38:08 It really shows you the low level of sociology
00:38:15 these people have studied.
00:38:18 So it's the rantings of illiterate people,
00:38:20 and I don't take it seriously.
00:38:23 So just let that be.
00:38:24 That's like the Medha Patkar argument,
00:38:26 that as long as you have four people,
00:38:27 you can't have air conditioners, you can't have cars,
00:38:30 you can't have private houses.
00:38:34 This is bullshit.
00:38:35 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:38:36 But I don't find either the Indian right or the Muslims
00:38:42 right's reaction very out of place.
00:38:48 People tend to see things as validation
00:38:52 of their pre-existing beliefs.
00:38:54 So every time there's a new discovery,
00:38:56 and this is a good thing about Muslims, they'll say, see,
00:38:59 the Quran already said this.
00:39:00 So Allah knew this before you.
00:39:02 And it's very important to remember
00:39:04 that Islam was what kept education alive when Europe was
00:39:08 going through its dark ages, because for them,
00:39:11 science is how Allah reveals himself to his followers,
00:39:15 as opposed to Europe, where science took away
00:39:18 from the mysteries of creation.
00:39:20 The Eucharistic mysteries are very important to Christianity.
00:39:23 There are things about God we must not question or inquire,
00:39:27 whereas a Muslim will.
00:39:29 But then what happened?
00:39:30 What closed the door on us?
00:39:31 Not the South Asian Muslim.
00:39:34 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:39:37 I'm talking about real Muslims in the place of origin,
00:39:41 not the bloody fake who's out here pretending to be something
00:39:44 that they're not.
00:39:46 So in Hinduism as well, this dichotomy--
00:39:50 so even for Islam, just much more so with Hinduism.
00:39:54 For Hinduism, a lot of the validation for science
00:39:58 came from religion, right?
00:40:00 Because it is the existential questions, especially
00:40:03 astronomy.
00:40:04 It also went into astrology, but especially astronomy,
00:40:07 Aryabhatta and things like that, where
00:40:09 wearing bloody poonals and langot and angavastra
00:40:12 and all of that and sitting and doing puja and meditating.
00:40:16 Your Vedas itself is an inquiry into cause and effect
00:40:20 of the universe.
00:40:21 What was?
00:40:22 Why was it?
00:40:23 Why did it come about?
00:40:24 What was creation?
00:40:25 Where did it lead to?
00:40:27 Why, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
00:40:29 So I don't see anything wrong with seeing science
00:40:34 as a validation of your beliefs.
00:40:35 I actually find that much healthier.
00:40:39 I haven't seen anyone except that weird Sikh guy
00:40:47 who said that the moon has no surface,
00:40:49 and therefore you can't land on it.
00:40:51 And it was-- do you remember who I'm talking about?
00:40:54 Yes, that Khalistani.
00:40:55 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:40:58 So except that cocksucker, I don't
00:41:02 know anybody else who's come off as being deranged on any
00:41:06 of this.
00:41:06 Right.
00:41:08 Right.
00:41:09 Yeah.
00:41:11 Kushal, what do you make of the argument?
00:41:13 Do you have any response to the argument
00:41:15 that why is Gareeb Desh spending so much money on a space
00:41:19 program?
00:41:21 Only stupid people make such arguments.
00:41:23 Why would we make such an argument?
00:41:25 I mean, it is ridiculous.
00:41:27 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:41:29 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:41:46 Shyam, these investments are long-term investments
00:41:49 that are made for multiple things.
00:41:52 I mean, why would they--
00:41:56 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:41:59 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:42:00 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:42:03 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:42:05 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:42:07 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:42:32 Neil deGrasse Tyson, who was asked the same very question,
00:42:35 why don't we use the money to take care of people on Earth
00:42:38 rather than space exploration?
00:42:39 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:42:41 There's so many things, from bloody, I think,
00:42:50 toothpaste to microwaves or something like that.
00:42:53 There's so many things that have been developed out
00:42:55 of the space program and out of the research
00:42:57 that NASA has done.
00:42:59 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:43:01 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:43:04 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:43:06 Yes.
00:43:08 But [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:43:10 Something very simple, something very, very simple.
00:43:14 Your space program, why go to space?
00:43:19 OK, very simple.
00:43:22 Today, your entire satellite navigation
00:43:24 and your economy of Zomato services,
00:43:26 all of this communications, this and that,
00:43:30 is a direct derivative of your space program.
00:43:34 It is your space program, because the problem
00:43:36 of terrestrial weather prediction
00:43:38 has always been that it is based on measuring pressure,
00:43:43 atmospheric pressure.
00:43:44 And in areas like Saharan or sub-Saharan Africa,
00:43:49 which directly impacts us because we're only one sea away
00:43:52 from them, where there is huge gaps
00:43:54 in meteorological institutions, it
00:43:58 plays havoc with your meteorological models, which
00:44:02 is why you need space-based measurements
00:44:04 for your agriculture, and your agricultural prediction,
00:44:08 and things like that.
00:44:11 Science is required to lift the poorest of the poor, like UPI.
00:44:16 What use was the internet?
00:44:17 Well, the internet has now seen to it
00:44:19 that all the dallas who are taking money meant for the poor
00:44:23 are completely cut out, and money
00:44:25 is going directly into their accounts through UPI.
00:44:28 That is what science does.
00:44:30 Science directly-- and this is not just the BBC making
00:44:35 this mistake.
00:44:37 When Niels Bohr started talking about quantum mechanics,
00:44:41 Einstein refused to even listen to him.
00:44:43 He thought it was complete bullshit.
00:44:46 And yet today, Niels Bohr, I think,
00:44:49 has had a much bigger contribution,
00:44:50 because all your touch, these things,
00:44:56 which are enormously useful--
00:44:58 and touch is just one part of it,
00:45:01 because there is also visual symbolism here.
00:45:03 You can be language illiterate, but you can be
00:45:10 symbol and numerical literate.
00:45:14 It helps you overcome so many problems.
00:45:16 This can help you overcome educational problems,
00:45:20 because you can stream top quality learning and content
00:45:23 from a top teacher somewhere to--
00:45:25 of course, ed tech in India is a joke.
00:45:27 That's a different matter.
00:45:28 But what if the government actually
00:45:29 chose the best teachers at explaining and streamed it,
00:45:34 say, in Tamil, Oriya, Malayalam, whatever,
00:45:36 to each student in their house?
00:45:39 The problem with house is always that it's been--
00:45:41 you're indisciplined, like work from home.
00:45:44 But ignore that.
00:45:46 Everything has a downside, but it solves--
00:45:49 all of the signs solve so many problems.
00:45:52 It's not even funny.
00:45:54 So it's just shocking the kind of crap that you have.
00:45:58 And imagine, even Einstein did not
00:46:01 see the value of quantum mechanics.
00:46:03 Yeah.
00:46:05 Yeah, exactly.
00:46:07 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:46:10 Yes.
00:46:10 Let's do it.
00:46:11 I think there are a few in there.
00:46:13 I don't know if all of them are there, but there are a few.
00:46:15 Start with Zubair's reaction after Chandrayaan landed
00:46:24 on the moon.
00:46:25 [LAUGHTER]
00:46:28 [VIDEO PLAYBACK]
00:46:31 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:46:34 [LAUGHTER]
00:46:37 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:46:40 [LAUGHTER]
00:46:43 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:46:46 [LAUGHTER]
00:46:49 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:46:53 That's good, man.
00:46:54 Well done.
00:46:55 Well done.
00:46:56 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:46:59 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:02 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:05 [LAUGHTER]
00:47:07 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:08 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:12 Shambhav, for God's sake, feature this meme.
00:47:15 This is literally a meme.
00:47:16 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:17 These are politicians that are talking about Chandrayaan.
00:47:19 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:22 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:24 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:27 [LAUGHTER]
00:47:29 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:31 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:35 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:52 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:54 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:47:57 [LAUGHTER]
00:47:58 [SPEAKING HINDI]
00:48:00 science space research.
00:48:01 Canada
00:48:03 I
00:48:05 Mean
00:48:07 NASA
00:48:09 NASA
00:48:11 I
00:48:13 Mean
00:48:15 You
00:48:17 Can I
00:48:19 Do
00:48:21 A
00:48:23 Little
00:48:25 Bit
00:48:27 Of
00:48:29 Time
00:48:31 To
00:48:33 Come
00:48:35 Back
00:48:37 To
00:48:39 Canada
00:48:41 Canada
00:48:43 Canada
00:48:45 Canada
00:48:47 Canada
00:48:49 These people are politicians, they are law makers.
00:48:55 This is my Pakistani favorite.
00:49:01 This person has taken such good care of his country and his society.
00:49:07 This is satire.
00:49:09 We are paying for the trip. We are already living on the moon. You don't know.
00:49:13 How? We are not living on the moon.
00:49:16 The moon has water.
00:49:16 There is no water.
00:49:17 This side doesn't have water either.
00:49:18 There is no water.
00:49:20 There is no water.
00:49:21 There is electricity.
00:49:22 No.
00:49:23 See, there is no electricity.
00:49:24 We are already living on the moon. You don't know.
00:49:28 How? We are not living on the moon.
00:49:30 There is water.
00:49:31 There is no water.
00:49:32 There is no water.
00:49:32 There is no water.
00:49:33 There is electricity.
00:49:35 There is no water.
00:49:36 There is no water.
00:49:36 There is electricity.
00:49:38 No.
00:49:38 See, there is no electricity.
00:49:40 There is no water, electricity, gas, nothing. We are living on the moon.
00:49:44 We are living on the moon.
00:49:46 He is a smart man.
00:49:47 He understood.
00:49:48 He is the best.
00:49:49 He understood.
00:49:50 He is the best.
00:49:53 He was very good.
00:49:54 Lappad Raj.
00:49:55 He is the best.
00:49:58 Pakistani moon.
00:50:00 See, he is very good.
00:50:03 See, see.
00:50:04 Prime Minister, greetings.
00:50:07 Sir, we have achieved soft landing.
00:50:11 Why are you getting beaten up like this?
00:50:40 This was a nice photo.
00:50:44 Well done, political insect.
00:50:47 See, see.
00:50:49 Chandrayaan 3, you are the first reporter to land.
00:50:55 Does anybody have that photo?
00:51:03 There is a report before Chandrayaan lands.
00:51:08 There is a photo of a reporter standing on the surface of the moon and talking about Chandrayaan landing.
00:51:15 I think it is in reference to that clip.
00:51:18 I am the first one to land.
00:51:23 Well done, Abhijeet.
00:51:25 Well done, Abhijeet.
00:51:27 I like this.
00:51:29 I like this a lot.
00:51:31 I am the first one to land.
00:51:33 Yeah, special shout out.
00:51:36 Honestly, I have to give a special shout out to Deepak Charasia.
00:51:39 Deepak Charasia walked so Chandrayaan could run.
00:51:43 Okay.
00:51:44 So if anybody needs to be thanked for the success of the Chandrayaan mission, it is Deepak Charasia.
00:51:50 He was the first person to go onto the moon.
00:51:53 Many months before Chandrayaan, Deepak Charasia was on the moon.
00:51:58 So yeah, big big props to Deepak Charasia.
00:52:01 The nation owes him a debt.
00:52:03 Charasia and Aaj Tak especially.
00:52:04 And Aaj Tak especially.
00:52:05 I think the nation owes them a debt.
00:52:07 They paved the way.
00:52:09 I think under Arun Puri and Kali Puri, the nation has progressed more than ISRO.
00:52:16 Because ISRO was like, listen, if an Aaj Tak journalist can go onto the moon, then why can't we?
00:52:23 It was a real kick up the butt to ISRO.
00:52:27 It was so funny.
00:52:32 It was so funny that these people actually indulge in such rubbish.
00:52:37 And they don't even feel ashamed.
00:52:39 No, no, why should they feel ashamed?
00:52:41 This is a daily thing.
00:52:43 This is not a normal thing.
00:52:46 Whenever it rains in India, they stand in the studio with umbrellas.
00:52:51 Oh, oh, very very strong winds.
00:52:55 I don't know why they do that.
00:52:58 Dude, because you know our people love it.
00:53:01 Don't pretend that you don't know why they do it.
00:53:04 Our people love that shit.
00:53:06 We eat that shit up.
00:53:08 Indians are the cheesiest motherfuckers on planet earth.
00:53:13 They love drama.
00:53:14 That's why the K-series do so well in India.
00:53:17 That's why they do it.
00:53:19 Wait, I want to find that photo.
00:53:23 Deepak Chaudhary was wearing a scooter helmet.
00:53:27 Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is the one.
00:53:30 This is from Being Humor.
00:53:34 I'll share this photo.
00:53:37 This is the photo we are referring to.
00:53:40 The journalist is already on the move.
00:53:44 Let him come.
00:53:46 Zoom in, I can't see.
00:53:49 Zoom in.
00:53:51 The journalist is already on the move.
00:53:55 Anjana is the one.
00:53:58 Anjana Omkar.
00:54:00 Let her come.
00:54:03 Oh God.
00:54:06 People love this shit.
00:54:08 Where is Deepak Charasia's photo?
00:54:11 I'm looking for it.
00:54:13 I don't know Deepak, but Anjana is a friend.
00:54:16 I was talking to her and she was telling me,
00:54:18 for all the crap that they get parodied on,
00:54:22 apparently the amount of support and viewership
00:54:25 they get precisely for those graphics is insane.
00:54:28 Oh yeah, that's what I'm saying.
00:54:30 That's exactly what I'm saying.
00:54:32 The public loves that shit.
00:54:34 The public will eat it up.
00:54:36 That's my whole problem.
00:54:38 Why are Indians so fucking tacky?
00:54:41 That's our brand.
00:54:43 Our brand is loud and tacky.
00:54:46 This is the one.
00:54:51 This is the one that I was showing you in public.
00:54:55 This man walked so Chandrayaan could run.
00:54:58 You're late to the party.
00:55:00 Deepak Charasia landed on the moon in 2019.
00:55:04 He's wearing a scooty helmet.
00:55:08 Deepak Charasia was there since 2019.
00:55:14 You should have landed there 4 years ago.
00:55:21 I think this one was the winner of all the Chandrayaan analysis.
00:55:25 This could well be.
00:55:27 Rakesh Roshan was the first man to land on the moon.
00:55:33 Why can't I hear you?
00:55:35 What was the sound?
00:55:37 Rakesh Roshan was asking the moon how it feels to be in the sky.
00:55:55 Rakesh Roshan.
00:55:58 He's our leader.
00:56:02 I want to find this photo also.
00:56:06 We should side with him.
00:56:09 She loves Bollywood and Bollywood stars.
00:56:12 She drops Naroor Khan to the airport when he comes to Kolkata.
00:56:16 What ends up happening is,
00:56:18 this is a slip of the tongue.
00:56:21 She meant to say Rakesh Sharma but she just said Rakesh Roshan.
00:56:26 Who hasn't slipped a tongue?
00:56:28 Look at this.
00:56:30 This is my favorite part.
00:56:32 This is from Rahul Roshan who says Mamata Banerjee is not alone in the Google searches.
00:56:37 Rakesh Roshan astronaut.
00:56:39 Rakesh Roshan moon.
00:56:43 People actually went to Google and started looking for pictures.
00:56:48 Rakesh Roshan astronaut on the moon.
00:56:51 In all of this,
00:56:55 I think everybody ignored the story of Rakesh Sharma.
00:57:00 One magazine that covered his current life,
00:57:03 where he's leading a retired life somewhere in Haryana,
00:57:06 will far be.
00:57:09 Next one is one of the greatest photos I have seen.
00:57:13 This is peak behavioral patterns shown by ICC.
00:57:21 This is the greatest ad.
00:57:23 Harpic kills 99% of the germs.
00:57:25 What about the remaining 1%?
00:57:27 Harpic mascots for the cricket world.
00:57:35 Okay, I have a serious question.
00:57:37 What are these mascots?
00:57:38 For the biggest and richest.
00:57:41 Go ahead Abhijit.
00:57:43 But see this is a scam.
00:57:45 Everyone inside Tata is saying that
00:57:49 some money has been laundered in this rebranding of Air India.
00:57:53 It was such a third rate rebranding.
00:57:55 A lot of money has been given as kickbacks to some executive in Tata.
00:58:00 This is clearly a byproduct of kickbacks.
00:58:03 Where did Tata come from?
00:58:06 Where did Tata come from?
00:58:08 No, I'm just giving you an example.
00:58:10 This is what happens with marketing and ad agencies.
00:58:12 This Air India thing is corruption.
00:58:15 This is a clear case of corruption.
00:58:17 Such a third rate product for the crores.
00:58:20 This is the largest and richest cricketing body in the world.
00:58:24 And they would have paid crores for this particular so called mascots.
00:58:32 The imagery would have cost them at least 50 to 20 crores for the entire campaign.
00:58:37 Because it's not just drawing the mascots.
00:58:39 It's also the entire campaign to popularize this and shit.
00:58:42 What is that?
00:58:45 What are those two things?
00:58:48 I don't know which idiot designed this graphic.
00:58:52 I have no idea what those things are supposed to be.
00:58:57 Is it representative of cricket in any way?
00:59:01 No.
00:59:02 What the fuck is it supposed to be?
00:59:04 What are those things?
00:59:05 Our old ads where we used to show the "Kitanu Jeevanu"
00:59:10 The hit and his.
00:59:12 Yeah, yeah.
00:59:14 Kitanu Jeevanu.
00:59:16 One was Kitanu and one was Jeevanu.
00:59:18 Yeah, yeah.
00:59:20 What is that supposed to be?
00:59:21 I don't even know what those things are.
00:59:23 I want to find out who designed it.
00:59:25 I discovered something.
00:59:27 Do you know what sperm is called in Hindi?
00:59:32 Shukranu.
00:59:37 Shukranu.
00:59:39 Is that what they are?
00:59:41 Shukranus?
00:59:43 Those are sperms.
00:59:46 It says Megh Tatia.
00:59:49 Dude, honestly, it will be better than what we have right now.
00:59:54 Make it Tatia Vichu.
00:59:57 The mascot.
00:59:58 You don't know Tatia Vichu?
01:00:00 Here it is.
01:00:01 You don't know Tatia Vichu?
01:00:02 Tatia Vichu, yeah.
01:00:03 The red cap.
01:00:04 Yeah.
01:00:06 I don't know.
01:00:07 Oh my God.
01:00:08 We will have to find a photo.
01:00:09 Non-desi, man.
01:00:10 Tatia Vichu.
01:00:15 Show him what Tatia Vichu is.
01:00:17 You don't know Tatia Vichu?
01:00:19 Here it is.
01:00:20 Akhilesh's cartoon character.
01:00:25 Here it is.
01:00:26 You don't remember Akhilesh after seeing Tatia Vichu.
01:00:28 This is Tatia Vichu.
01:00:31 See?
01:00:32 This is a better mascot.
01:00:35 This is a better mascot than whatever the fuck they made, man.
01:00:39 We should totally, honestly.
01:00:40 This looks like a Muppet from Fraggled Rock.
01:00:42 Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
01:00:44 Put a fake bat in his hand and the mascot is ready.
01:00:47 Yeah, this is much better.
01:00:50 Seriously, I want you guys to trend.
01:00:53 Someone will call you Tatia Vichu.
01:01:00 I want everybody to go on social media and trend #TatiaVichufor2023worldcupmascot.
01:01:07 Yes.
01:01:08 Okay?
01:01:09 Let's start a petition.
01:01:10 Let's start a global movement.
01:01:12 A global trend.
01:01:13 Tatia Vichu for 2023 World Cup mascot.
01:01:17 Let's do it.
01:01:18 Together we can make this happen.
01:01:20 Yes.
01:01:21 Tweet it on Jacketbeater.
01:01:22 Next year, I posted on Reddit that Bhaski ji is trolling Bollywood, basketball, football, tennis, and golf fans at the same time.
01:01:30 We should believe in Bollywood.
01:01:32 This is actually, before you play this, one second.
01:01:35 This might be the most complex, intricate movie shot that Bollywood has ever created.
01:01:44 If you're a fan of movies, Abhijit, this is probably the most complex and intricate shot ever made by Bollywood.
01:01:52 Watch this.
01:01:53 Yes.
01:01:54 Watch this.
01:01:55 Kareena Kapoor.
01:01:56 No, Karishma Kapoor.
01:01:57 Karishma Kapoor.
01:01:58 Playing basketball with football, wearing tennis outfits on a golf course.
01:02:04 [Music]
01:02:11 Who picked this?
01:02:12 [Music]
01:02:15 Like, it's time to get everything wrong, right?
01:02:19 Maybe you get one or two things wrong.
01:02:21 This is typical of India, right?
01:02:23 This is typical of Indian creativity.
01:02:26 They really have a very low opinion about their audience.
01:02:30 They have a genuinely low opinion.
01:02:32 Audience itself has very low standards.
01:02:37 Yeah.
01:02:39 So I think they've got a very correct gauging of their audience.
01:02:43 Yes.
01:02:44 This is truly like, this is like some inception level, interstellar level shit right there.
01:02:49 You know?
01:02:50 On a golf course, playing basketball with a football in tennis clothes.
01:02:56 Brilliant.
01:02:57 Tennis clothes on a yoga pants or something.
01:02:59 Yeah.
01:03:00 Okay.
01:03:01 So this.

01:06:08 Abhijeet, what is that YouTube channel that shows how dirty airplanes are?
01:06:12 It's not a YouTube channel. It was just one teaming.
01:06:16 Why aircraft cleaning is so expensive or something.
01:06:20 I'd shared the link when I'd spoken about it.
01:06:23 It's such cleaning up plane is so complex.
01:06:30 Essentially, even the person who vacuum cleans your plane
01:06:34 or at least supervises the vacuum cleaning of your plane
01:06:37 and the cleaning of the toilet of the aircraft
01:06:40 has to be a trained, experienced aviation engineer.
01:06:45 Yeah.
01:06:47 Okay. He has to understand what things will reduce efficiency, etc.
01:06:52 It's very complex.
01:06:54 In India, do you think any IIT graduate is ever going to
01:06:58 or any engineering graduate is ever going to
01:07:01 agree to be Air India's cleanliness worker or something like that?
01:07:06 So, you know, it was in that context.
01:07:10 Right.
01:07:11 Varun Narayan Swamy is saying,
01:07:15 "Does Vivek stand any chance of swaying the votes in the Republican primaries
01:07:19 from the hardcore Christian conservative Trump loyalists?"
01:07:22 I very highly doubt it, to be honest.
01:07:24 I think his best bet is what he's actually doing
01:07:28 because he's a smart guy.
01:07:30 He's basically playing for vice president irrespective of who.
01:07:35 But I would disagree with you on Christian conservative Trump loyalists.
01:07:40 They would much rather vote for a devil worshipper
01:07:43 than vote for somebody who supports baby killing or fetus killing as they see it.
01:07:49 Yeah.
01:07:51 They'll vote for the lesser evil over the greater evil.
01:07:54 Basically, that's my take on it.
01:07:56 Yeah. And he's one of the, I think, probably the only candidate
01:08:00 that hasn't openly attacked Trump or doesn't openly hate Trump.
01:08:04 And if you look...
01:08:05 Supports Trump a lot.
01:08:06 Supports Trump. Yeah.
01:08:08 And if you look at the current polls, the Republican primary polls,
01:08:11 Trump is leading by a humongous margin,
01:08:14 like something like 50 fucking points or something.
01:08:16 So if he doesn't get convicted, if he gets convicted, he might still be able to run.
01:08:21 But if he doesn't get convicted, most likely he's going to end up as the presidential candidate.
01:08:26 And so if that happens...
01:08:27 And he's going to lose the election.
01:08:28 What's that?
01:08:29 And he's going to lose the election given the level of institutional subversion
01:08:34 that Democrats have done and will do.
01:08:36 Do you think he'll lose?
01:08:38 Do you think he'll lose against this guy, Biden?
01:08:40 Now everybody's seen what Biden's like.
01:08:42 Look, he's already lost against Biden once, boss.
01:08:45 But then that was Obama's Biden.
01:08:47 That was cool Uncle Joe.
01:08:48 No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
01:08:51 He lost against Biden.
01:08:54 He will lose against Biden again because Biden has shown how blatantly
01:08:59 he will subvert systems and institutions.
01:09:02 And he will do it again.
01:09:04 The level of election rigging and vote changing and whatever that's going to happen this time
01:09:11 is going to be insane.
01:09:13 Yeah.
01:09:15 They will pull no stops in winning.
01:09:19 So, you know, for the Democrats, as far as Trump is concerned, this is do or die.
01:09:25 For Trump and the Republicans, it really isn't...
01:09:28 It's important, but it's not as important as it is for the Dems.
01:09:32 Why?
01:09:34 Simple.
01:09:35 You don't see the level of determination and unity of ideology you see in Republicans
01:09:40 that you see in the Democrats.
01:09:43 So you think the Democrats are more ideologically together is what you're saying?
01:09:47 Yeah.
01:09:48 You look at Hindus in the Bay Area, they're going to continue to vote Democrat in massive numbers.
01:09:54 Yeah.
01:09:56 Tomorrow, if laws are passed, that a Hindu has to sit at the back of a tram or train in San Francisco
01:10:06 and every time somebody comes, the Hindu should open their mouth and receive their spit.
01:10:12 They'll do it.
01:10:13 They will still vote Democrats.
01:10:14 Yeah, they'll do it.
01:10:15 Bay Area, I...
01:10:16 Remember, you know, a country of 300, well, 150 million being conquered by about 100,000 Brits.
01:10:24 Yeah.
01:10:25 And 360 odd million being ruled by about 100,000 odd Brits.
01:10:30 Right.
01:10:31 That only happened when you are...
01:10:34 They did not conquer us.
01:10:36 We allowed ourselves to be conquered.
01:10:38 It's that simple.
01:10:39 Yeah.
01:10:40 Yeah, but my point is the same.
01:10:43 Why in the case of Trump, Trump creates a visceral response from the Democrats unlike any other candidate.
01:10:52 So, what happens is while Trump might charge up his own Republican base or Trumpian base,
01:10:59 he equally gets a visceral response from the other side.
01:11:02 So, their voting increases.
01:11:05 So, it might be a close election, but I won't be surprised if Biden wins again, uncle.
01:11:12 There was another question which was similar to this, which was,
01:11:15 does Vivek have any chance of actually converting people from Democrats to Republicans,
01:11:20 Indian Americans from Democrats to Republicans?
01:11:22 That is there.
01:11:23 There will always be a chance for that.
01:11:26 Vivek needs to be better in his climate change response.
01:11:30 I think even though he says the climate change,
01:11:33 basically what he tries to say is the doomsday peddling around climate change is a hoax.
01:11:39 He should not use such irresponsible words.
01:11:42 He should be better in his communication.
01:11:44 If he was, I think he will attract more people, but I still think he's a smart man.
01:11:49 Look, politicians all play a game.
01:11:52 If you think what you see on the screen is the real Vivek or the real Trump or the real Biden,
01:11:57 you're lying to yourself.
01:11:58 They're not.
01:12:00 Look, you can't make so much money as a businessman in America and be stupid.
01:12:05 I can assure you Vivek Ramaswamy is not stupid.
01:12:07 He's a very high IQ individual.
01:12:09 Yeah.
01:12:10 Yeah.
01:12:12 What is your take on the reignited Adani issue?
01:12:16 It's funny because somebody didn't somebody predict this like a couple of weeks ago that this is going to happen.
01:12:21 I think it didn't Hawkeye had a thread about it.
01:12:24 Abhijit.
01:12:25 Yeah, it's for the last two weeks.
01:12:27 It's been predicted.
01:12:28 But what is new about the new report?
01:12:30 It's just saying it's regurgitating what Hindenburg said.
01:12:34 So it's the same thing essentially.
01:12:36 Money came in through Mauritius.
01:12:37 You tell me like I'll ask you tell me one Indian company that hasn't gotten money through Mauritius.
01:12:42 Mauritius is the state sanctioned route for bringing in black money into white.
01:12:50 Everybody's done it.
01:12:53 The Tata's have also done it.
01:12:55 Right.
01:12:56 There is not a single company in India that you know of that has not got investment from Mauritius.
01:13:01 Mauritius GDP.
01:13:03 GDP.
01:13:14 Yeah, it gives it to me in crores.
01:13:16 Yeah, nine billion dollars.
01:13:18 Okay.
01:13:20 Oh, nine thousand dollars per capita GDP.
01:13:24 And it gives it to me in crores.
01:13:25 I don't want to know.
01:13:29 GDP of eight billion.
01:13:31 No, that was in 1993.
01:13:33 11 billion dollars.
01:13:39 11 billion dollars.
01:13:42 Still a GDP of 11 billion dollars.
01:13:46 Now let's look at Mauritius investment in India.
01:13:51 FDI in 21.
01:13:55 Now the GDP of Mauritius is 11 billion dollars.
01:13:59 In 2021-22 FDI inflows from Mauritius to 9.39 billion dollars.
01:14:05 How?
01:14:11 I like Mauritius.
01:14:13 Yeah.
01:14:14 See, I don't blame people routing it through Mauritius.
01:14:18 If only conservative economics was sold to Indians in a larger way, this would not need to be happening.
01:14:27 Exactly.
01:14:28 So many people open their companies in Singapore, in Mauritius, in the United Kingdom.
01:14:33 Yes, people, United Kingdom is another big money laundering Adda of the world.
01:14:38 The entire Middle East launders their money in the UK.
01:14:44 Saudi, Qatar, UAE, they're all laundering their money in the UK right now.
01:14:49 By the way, somebody's asking about PPP.
01:14:51 I don't do PPP.
01:14:52 I only do nominal GDP.
01:14:53 It's a much better case.
01:14:54 This PPP is, I don't, I never go by PPP measure.
01:14:58 The question here is, Pikachu Man is asking, what is the Democrat ideology?
01:15:05 Well, right now it is whatever.
01:15:08 Well, they do have an ideology.
01:15:10 First of all, you cannot strawman the Democrats stating they don't have an ideology.
01:15:14 It depends on which Democrat you're talking about.
01:15:17 Yeah.
01:15:18 The Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez squad has borderless world, trans activism there, but they are not the mainstream Democrats.
01:15:27 So even when I will not vote for the Democrats, I have to be fair to them.
01:15:31 In my opinion, I still think there is a huge centrist bent in the Democrat Party.
01:15:36 It is under challenge, but they have lost their way clearly.
01:15:40 And they believe in redistributionism in a very big way.
01:15:45 They believe in running the fiscal deficit target of the haywire streets wherever they want to.
01:15:54 They are what they are.
01:15:55 They believe in standard socialist democratic politics, which most of the people do.
01:16:01 Yeah.
01:16:02 Yeah.
01:16:03 And when it comes to foreign policy, I think there isn't really any difference between the Republicans and the Democrats.
01:16:08 There is no difference.
01:16:09 Obama was Putin's friend in one term, he became Putin's enemy in the second term.
01:16:17 Trump was the enemy first.
01:16:20 How do they know that today Russia is good for the Republicans, tomorrow Russia is bad for the Republicans.
01:16:25 There is no change in America's foreign policy.
01:16:28 Abhijit told me many years ago that these assholes are not friends of anyone, they are just friends.
01:16:34 In foreign policy, they are all the same.
01:16:36 Yeah.
01:16:37 They are not of anyone.
01:16:38 Yeah.
01:16:39 They look after themselves and the military industrial complex.
01:16:43 That's it.
01:16:44 That's their ideology, at least when it comes to foreign policy.
01:16:48 AIM, how do you reconcile astrology with atheism?
01:16:52 Do you mean astronomy or astrology?
01:16:54 Astrology.
01:16:55 Yeah.
01:16:56 It's written there.
01:16:57 Are you interested in astrology or something, Abhijit?
01:17:01 I am.
01:17:02 Okay.
01:17:03 And so I have a friend who I can't name.
01:17:08 He doesn't want to be named mostly.
01:17:12 I was also seeing, you know, a lot of things where this wasn't.
01:17:17 So, you know, when I was a kid, my mom used to take me to this lady called Aavi Amuda.
01:17:24 Aavi means spirit.
01:17:26 And she used to channel some spirit of somebody and, you know, it used to be like
01:17:30 [imitates Aavi Amuda]
01:17:35 And then my mom would be
01:17:37 In our language, it's called 'mata ana'.
01:17:39 Yes, 'mata chal gayi hai'.
01:17:41 Will my son pass his maths exam?
01:17:46 She'd be like, 'If he studies hard, he will pass the maths exam.'
01:17:51 [imitates Aavi Amuda]
01:17:57 So this wasn't shit like that.
01:17:59 It was very, very specific crap that I've been seeing over the last four or five years.
01:18:04 And, you know, this guy explained it to me very well.
01:18:09 I don't think it's an IP kind of an explanation for his book.
01:18:14 So I'm not allowed to talk about it.
01:18:16 There's still about a 70% to 80% failure rate.
01:18:21 But think about it technically.
01:18:26 You know, the Hindu calendar, for example.
01:18:30 You might think it's a bad calendar in terms of how unpredictable it is.
01:18:34 Ek baar Diwali august mein aajaata hai. Ek baar Diwali December mein aata hai. Ek baar Diwali October mein aata hai.
01:18:40 Itna nahi hota.
01:18:42 It's quite variable.
01:18:44 There's at least a two month variation in Diwali dates that can happen.
01:18:48 At least.
01:18:51 Abhayar, it's always either last week of October or like first couple of weeks of November.
01:18:56 Basically always that gap.
01:18:58 That range.
01:19:00 When has it ever been in like any time else?
01:19:03 Diwali aaktoobar November mein hi hoti hai. Kya hai yaar bol raha hai tu?
01:19:07 Diwali is either last end of October or beginning of early couple of weeks of November.
01:19:12 There's huge variations in Diwali dates.
01:19:15 Tu ne August mein kab manai hai Diwali?
01:19:17 Diwali saale hai.
01:19:19 Wait.
01:19:20 Let's check.
01:19:21 Nahi nahi.
01:19:23 Nahi nahi.
01:19:24 Nahi nahi.
01:19:26 Mai August mein Diwali bana ke dikata hoon.
01:19:28 Mai bana ke dikha aega.
01:19:30 August mein Diwali bana aega.
01:19:32 This year Abhijit will be celebrating Diwali in September.
01:19:37 So next week.
01:19:38 Next year he'll celebrate it around Christmas.
01:19:41 It was 26th October on 2001.
01:19:44 It was 14th November.
01:19:46 Kutte October November hi toh bol rahe hain hum log.
01:19:49 That's the range always.
01:19:50 Haan haan jo bhi hai.
01:19:51 But there's always a big variation in dates.
01:19:53 Anyway.
01:19:54 Now the Western calendar does not predict the blooming of the Japoneka Scholastica tree.
01:20:04 You know that smell that you get?
01:20:06 That beautiful smell that you get?
01:20:09 From what?
01:20:10 From the oranges?
01:20:12 It's the blooming of a tree.
01:20:14 It's the Diwali smell.
01:20:15 I call it the Diwali smell.
01:20:17 I think anybody who lives in Delhi knows the smell.
01:20:19 It's an incredibly beautiful, very very strong perfume.
01:20:24 It will always happen to a tea two weeks before Diwali.
01:20:33 To a tea.
01:20:35 Without exception.
01:20:38 It doesn't matter when Diwali is.
01:20:41 It never conforms to the Western calendar when that tree starts blooming.
01:20:45 So remember ours is an agricultural calendar for different measures.
01:20:50 The Western calendar is a historical timekeeping calendar which is different.
01:20:55 Okay.
01:20:57 So it's one of those things where I find that a lot of things that were explained to me.
01:21:02 I'll wait for when his book comes out and then I'll recommend it to all of you.
01:21:06 I'm still not sold completely on astrology by the way.
01:21:10 I'm not sold on it.
01:21:12 But let's just say I don't discount it.
01:21:16 It's very popular among Gen Z here in the US right now.
01:21:20 Astrology.
01:21:21 Very very popular.
01:21:23 But I also want you to remember that 99.99% of astrologers are conjobs.
01:21:29 I'm not going to say anything.
01:21:35 I just want to move on.
01:21:37 It's very very popular here which is funny because it's like in America.
01:21:42 There's a bit of an astrology panic among like Christian circles because they consider it like a gateway drug to paganism.
01:21:49 Which makes me very happy that it's so popular.
01:21:51 My thing is again notice the kind of dichotomy that was brought in with the question.
01:21:57 Why would you have to be an atheist and not believe in astrology or anything like that?
01:22:04 Think about it simply.
01:22:06 The position of the moon determines the tides.
01:22:11 So it has a direct impact.
01:22:14 So why will you not accept that different gravitational forces no matter how small the butterfly effect and things like that have an impact on.
01:22:24 The way it was explained to me was that it was more gravity dynamics really.
01:22:29 Interesting.
01:22:30 And it's impossible to localize it to individuals.
01:22:34 I mean you can only predict the general trajectory but it's impossible to localize it.
01:22:40 You can generalize it though.
01:22:43 Pretty damn well.
01:22:45 Can you still check if moon soil is good enough to grow?
01:22:50 [Laughter]
01:22:54 Okay last couple of questions.
01:22:56 What does Kalu AIM think about Assamese food?
01:23:00 I honestly I don't think I've ever had any Assamese food.
01:23:03 User's name is Nunnu Butter Masala.
01:23:05 Nunnu Butter Masala asking about Assamese food.
01:23:09 I don't think I've ever had Assamese food.
01:23:11 What is good Assamese food?
01:23:13 So Assamese food is lots of really good food like the pitikas that they make, the mashes like Bharta kind of thing that they make are fantastic.
01:23:21 They do this, it's called, you'll get it in America easier than you'll get it here in India.
01:23:27 You know it's called fiddlehead ferns, it's called Deghiya Haak.
01:23:30 It's a very unique kind of a green leaf.
01:23:34 Again fantastic.
01:23:36 It's very simple veg and non-veg food that focuses on the freshness and the quality of the ingredients.
01:23:44 So you know things like the chicken curry or the Masoor Tenga which is their fish curry and things, they're amazing.
01:23:49 You have to know the technique.
01:23:50 The problem is a lot of Assamese food like Bengali food has gone down the drain because people don't understand the techniques of cooking it.
01:23:58 They interpreted a recipe as a checklist rather than as a learning of technique.
01:24:07 What is wrong with Bengali food do you think today compared to before?
01:24:11 So a Machher Jhol or a Masoor Tenga, what we call Machher Jhol which is a thin, patla machhi ka gravy or Masoor Tenga which is again their version of a patla machhi ka gravy, very different by the way.
01:24:24 They will be watery and runny.
01:24:29 Because people don't actually know how to get the collagen out of the fish bone into the gravy.
01:24:34 They've forgotten how to do that.
01:24:35 That's a very technical thing.
01:24:37 Technically that patla gravy shouldn't be that patla, it should be gelatinous because of all the gelatin coming out of the fish cupboards.
01:24:48 Okay, so they've forgotten about it.
01:24:53 Or they pressure cook things which destroys the flavor of the greens or whatever and things like that.
01:24:59 So they have some really amazing food in Assam which the whole of the North East has some really because it's very Indian and yet it's very not Indian.
01:25:11 Which I love.
01:25:13 So but anyway.
01:25:15 Question for Kushal from Kapil Goenka.
01:25:19 Kushal were there any laws or policies that were passed in the parliament that would benefit businesses and any specific laws that decriminalize?
01:25:27 Decriminalize what?
01:25:28 That you approve of?
01:25:29 Well, RERA was a great law, the insolvency and bankruptcy code that was a fantastic legislation.
01:25:36 I've given you two examples that has done.
01:25:39 I think as far as rationalization of laws is concerned, people don't realize that if you have rationalized the federal laws, but most of the laws are at the state level.
01:25:49 So how will you do that?
01:25:50 That's on individual states.
01:25:52 Like the Vivek Debroy committee has anybody followed their work headed by Vivek Debroy in Rajasthan?
01:25:59 Please go and check it out.
01:26:00 They rationalized all the laws in Rajasthan under the Vasundhara Rajya government.
01:26:05 Now that was great work being done by that committee.
01:26:09 There are very few such committees.
01:26:11 So they don't believe in a lot of things.
01:26:15 In terms of decriminalizing, our country doesn't believe in that.
01:26:21 They keep making it more.
01:26:23 In fact, a friend of mine, Ajay Davey, he always says the Indian Babudham does not believe in letting businessmen live in peace.
01:26:34 You see punishments in the tax code.
01:26:37 Ajay always sends me because that's his profession.
01:26:40 He looks at punishments and everything.
01:26:42 So yeah, you should.
01:26:44 Go read Gautam Chikarmani's paper on punishments for doing business in India.
01:26:49 The government actually translated that into a law.
01:26:52 I don't know why it wasn't brought in the last session of Parliament, but it is going to be brought in.
01:26:55 Yeah, I read the whole paper on that book.
01:26:58 I also did a podcast on the book with Gautam and his co-author.
01:27:01 I know most people on the right don't read books.
01:27:04 So go watch this Kabul podcast that Kushal did.
01:27:10 And go watch this Gautam Chikarmani podcast that also Blackie did.
01:27:15 Abhijit is smiling so much.
01:27:18 You guys are all idiots.
01:27:20 And last question.
01:27:24 I never claimed, I also admit I'm an idiot.
01:27:27 So if I admit I'm an idiot, then all our viewers should also admit they're idiots.
01:27:32 Because according to all Jazeera, remember this is a Hindu nationalist homosexual bigot.
01:27:36 We will only get reality checks out here.
01:27:38 If you want me to come and massage your ass and say, oh, you guys are so smart.
01:27:43 Just because you watch me and provide me with viewership, you're very intelligent.
01:27:46 How does one massage ass?
01:27:48 If you need to get your ass massaged, guys, you need to get on Grindr.
01:27:52 Let us discuss ass massaging before we go.
01:27:56 So ass massaging is one of the great pleasures of life.
01:28:00 If you haven't had your ass massaged, you know your gluteal muscles can be a lot of stress.
01:28:08 A good masseuse would know how to work out the knots of your gluteal muscles.
01:28:14 And ass massaging is one of the most pleasurable parts of massage.
01:28:19 I think we can end on this perfect message.
01:28:24 Okay.
01:28:25 We are all idiots.
01:28:27 We are all idiots.
01:28:29 Yeah.
01:28:30 So get on Grindr if you need an ass massage, right?
01:28:33 That's where you got to go for an ass massage.
01:28:36 Okay.
01:28:37 Can I just officially declare this complaint?
01:28:39 This bastard Abhijeet.
01:28:41 He's ruining my and Shyam's reputation in the world.
01:28:44 He's a scoundrel.
01:28:46 He's a dog.
01:28:48 He's a dog.
01:28:53 And Shyam and I don't have any response to him.
01:28:58 What can we say?
01:29:00 We can't even answer.
01:29:02 What can we do? What can we say?
01:29:04 That's also there.
01:29:06 That's also there.
01:29:09 All right. So before we go, last thing guys.
01:29:12 Remember what Kushal talked about in the beginning?

01:30:25 No.
01:30:26 When is GameCook apologizing for remarks on Dal Bati Litti Choka?
01:30:31 I am not. Fuck you.
01:30:33 Sanjukta Basu wrote a wonderful article on that deli smell.
01:30:46 Lovely to know. I'll talk to Sanjukta about it.
01:30:48 And...
01:30:50 There you go.
01:30:51 And some start questions.
01:30:53 We'll decide.
01:30:56 You want to answer all of them?
01:30:58 You want to answer all of them?
01:30:59 I'll grow old in that.
01:31:01 Remove his comment.
01:31:04 He's a dangerous man. I won't let him read the comments.
01:31:07 There are so many start questions.
01:31:09 80% of the comments are like...
01:31:15 Shyam was one of the payloads on Chandrayaan 3.
01:31:21 Kushal, unlock UPID.
01:31:24 I won't do it. You send one rupee each.
01:31:26 You've blocked everyone.
01:31:28 He's saying it.
01:31:32 Do you think Prigoshan is actually dead? Yes, I do.
01:31:36 He wasn't going to survive.
01:31:38 What's the process required to evict illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas? Will Jumla Baba ever do it? No, he won't.
01:31:44 What is the Sanskrit for Peeche Wala Massage?
01:31:48 I don't know.
01:31:50 Why do you say that is Sanskrit?
01:31:52 I don't know.
01:31:54 What is Sanskrit for Glute?
01:31:58 I know rectum is Maldwar.
01:32:05 So you know the outer stuff too.
01:32:11 What did you make of the new book by Sujan Chinoy, former ambassador?
01:32:18 I haven't read it. Sorry.
01:32:20 I haven't read it.
01:32:22 What is the book even called?
01:32:24 Can Indian government stop Biden from election winning?
01:32:27 What is happening?
01:32:32 We don't take questions for this.
01:32:34 You keep reading.
01:32:36 Did you know they tried to cancel J.Sai Deepak today, called him an Islamophobe and complained to the power council apparently.
01:32:43 Some college, right?
01:32:46 I might disagree with JSD on decoloniality, but if they try to cancel him, these bastards, then I'm with JSD.
01:32:55 Where was he going? Was he going to some college or something I heard, right?
01:33:01 Anand Ranganathan has a tweet about this.
01:33:04 Does Shahid are responsible for British invasion? What does that even mean?
01:33:10 I have no idea.
01:33:11 This is why I keep the guest comments off because you fucking read all of them.
01:33:15 Also, here it is. All India Lawyers Association has written to the Karnataka State Bar Council demanding to cancel its upcoming lecture by J.Sai Deepak on the uniform civil court, calling him an Islamophobe.
01:33:30 So he was going to this DM page.
01:33:33 As is called Shroni for people who did not know.
01:33:38 Shroni massage.
01:33:39 And what if the massage?
01:33:41 Shroni massage.
01:33:44 Is massage Sanskrit?
01:33:47 Massage is in Sanskrit.
01:33:49 What is massage in Sanskrit?
01:33:51 What is massage in Sanskrit? If you have told me Shroni, then tell me massage.
01:33:57 What is massage in Sanskrit?
01:33:59 Abhyanga, Shroni Abhyanga.
01:34:02 Shroni Abhyanga.
01:34:03 Champi is not in Sanskrit.
01:34:06 Champi is on the head.
01:34:08 Where do you come from?
01:34:10 Someone is saying Nitamb. Are you sure it is Nitamb?
