00:00 The problem is that many students have to go to school, now they have to go back to school.
00:05 They say that this is being done by the solution of the school administrators.
00:08 And this is the first news of Bernadette Reyes.
00:11 This is Rizal High School, one of the most extensive schools in the Philippines,
00:19 which has a size of more than 7 hectares.
00:21 I was just a little bit confused because it's so big.
00:24 I just came here recently.
00:26 In 1993 to 2005, Rizal High School entered the Guinness Book of World Records
00:32 as the largest secondary high school in the world.
00:35 But this year, the number of students has decreased to more than 12,000.
00:40 But despite the decrease in the number of students,
00:44 there are still a lot of students in the Senior High School.
00:47 A grade 12 student named Ashley Halimbawa,
00:50 transferred from Bicol to study in Rizal High School.
00:55 In Rizal High School, the four tracks are complete for academic,
00:59 arts and design, sports, and technical vocational livelihood.
01:03 I will be a STEM student, but I ran out of slots.
01:07 So I made a second choice of tourism.
01:10 In grade 11, Halimbawa reached more than 4,000 early registrants.
01:15 The capacity of the school is twice as much as the Baitang.
01:19 Because of this, the number of students in the Senior High School reached 55 per classroom.
01:24 Compared to the Junior High School, where there are only four classes.
01:28 Because of the limitation, we reached the maximum absorptive capacity in the Senior High School Department.
01:36 We received only 2,500 plus.
01:41 We passed the target of 2,100.
01:47 We added more people or students to the classroom to accommodate the learners.
01:58 The problem of Palawan National High School is also a number of students.
02:03 More than 11,000 students lack their classes.
02:08 The 21 classrooms in the nearby East Central School were required to rent.
02:13 This is a big help to return the normal schedule of classes instead of implementing shifting.
02:19 This is the first news, Bernadette Reyes for GMA Integrated News.
