00:06 - Nine, eight, three, five.
00:19 Nine, eight, three, five.
00:22 (speaking in foreign language)
00:28 (speaking in foreign language)
00:33 Professor Mike Aaron Oquee.

01:59 - The election was held in 17 polling stations.
02:10 16 regions by the head of this one, making it 17.
02:15 And when we put the results together,
02:18 these are the figures.
02:20 Had 132 votes.
02:26 Alan Kojo Chidamatin had 95 votes.
02:29 Joe Gatti had four votes.
02:33 Kojo Poku had three votes.
02:37 Osu Afuya Koto had 36 votes.
02:41 Kobuna Ejei Ajepon had six votes.
02:45 Francis Adeyemomo had nine votes.
02:50 Kofi Kunaduapako had zero votes.
02:54 Kofi Kunaduapako had zero votes.
02:57 Boakye Ajakun had nine votes.
03:00 Mahmoud Bamiya had 629 votes.
03:03 So when you ask them to give you five people,
03:10 so clearly you can see from these figures
03:13 that Ken Ejepon is selected among the five.
03:17 Alan Kojo Chidamatin is one of the five.
03:22 Osu Afuya Koto is one of the five.
03:25 And Mahmoud Bamiya is another one of the five.
03:29 Then when it comes to the fifth position,
03:31 two people tied.
03:32 So there's a tie between Francis Adeyemomo, nine votes,
03:38 and Boakye Ajepon, nine votes.
03:41 Meaning we have the four for you, and the two are tied.
03:45 So the party will have to take a decision
03:47 with respect to breaking the tie.
03:49 (speaking in foreign language)
03:53 - We appreciate the work you've done.
04:19 Mr. Wangwa has mentioned the tie, just as Dr. Kwaku did.
04:23 In any case, you see, we had made all our regulations
04:28 in totality, looking at all relevant possibilities.
04:32 So this is actually nothing new.
04:35 Someone mentioned the possibility of the two persons
04:39 joining the four to make six.
04:44 I said that is not possible under NPP terms.
04:48 The present arrangement and exercise must produce five,
04:53 and no more than five.
04:57 Therefore, accordingly, we had earlier put into regulations
05:00 that in case this should happen,
05:03 which now you see has happened,
05:05 next week Saturday, there will be a runoff between the two
05:09 so that one will bow, which means win,
05:12 or otherwise we continue to have them contest
05:16 among themselves until we have won.
05:18 And that is the essence of a runoff.
05:21 So a week today, if no one has stepped aside for the other,
05:25 then you look forward to another election
05:30 for the fifth person.
05:32 At the end of the day, we are going to present
05:34 five contestants for the grand finale.
05:39 (speaking in foreign language)
05:43 - It will take more hard work.
05:55 I want us to remember that the hard work
05:59 is still ahead of us.
06:01 We will have to win November 4th,
06:03 by the grace of God we will.
06:06 And then win December 7th, 2024.
06:08 I think it's very important
06:13 that we remain united as a party.
06:16 Whilst we celebrate, let us remain very conscious
06:23 that we have to keep this party together.
06:26 All my colleagues who contested, everybody did well.
06:31 We have to bring everybody together.
06:35 And so as we celebrate, let's mind our words.
06:39 And let's keep this party together.
06:42 Because this is an internal, but once we finish,
06:45 we'll bring everybody together and take on the NDC.
06:50 So I'm most grateful to all of you.
06:55 You have done so much work.
06:57 I think today you deserve to eat some (speaking in foreign
07:01 language)
07:03 (cheering)
07:05 (speaking in foreign language)
07:12 (speaking in foreign language)
07:31 (speaking in foreign language)
07:35 - I'm sure the delegates have decided
07:57 they want to go to the city hall.
08:00 That's what I can see.
08:02 And we also thank you, nobody has sent any negative reportage
08:06 so far, we hope that we continue in that manner.
08:10 We should send that everything was peaceful,
08:13 anybody who voted, nobody has voted.
08:16 When the results was announced,
08:18 nobody is voting, because there's no winner
08:22 and there's no loser in this election.
08:25 Because it's a family business,
08:27 and the delegates decided that this is the way
08:30 that they want to go.
08:31 (speaking in foreign language)
08:35 - We have taken the second position,
08:55 and today is not easy to come back.
08:57 But for me, it's an impressive result.
09:00 It's a signal that, inshallah,
09:02 we're into the main election, we're going to make it.
09:06 And Ken is going to emerge the winner,
09:09 come November 4th.
09:11 (speaking in foreign language)
09:15 (speaking in foreign language)
09:19 (speaking in foreign language)
09:42 (speaking in foreign language)
09:46 (speaking in foreign language)
09:50 (speaking in foreign language)
09:54 - I am seriously disappointed in NPP
10:19 for what we are seeing,
10:20 because we were called to come and cover this program,
10:23 only for us to be told that we are not going to be allowed
10:26 inside the voting ground.
10:28 For whatever reason, we don't know.
10:31 (speaking in foreign language)
10:35 (speaking in foreign language)
10:39 - I thought, say,
10:41 (speaking in foreign language)
11:07 - We are frustrated, because since in the morning
11:10 that we have come here, they refuse to allow us to enter,
11:13 and it's raining.
11:15 You can imagine our gadgets, our equipment,
11:17 the cameras and other things,
11:19 we are holding it in the rain.

16:54 but we do very little on the continent amongst ourselves,
16:59 and there's so much value,
17:00 and there's so much that we can do together,
17:03 and this partnership is going to show just that,
17:06 that there's value and a lot can be achieved,
17:08 and from my side,
17:09 I'm really looking forward to this relationship
17:12 growing from strength to strength.

18:30 but with a robust system,
18:31 now, (speaking in foreign language)
18:34 you'll be prepared for it and manage it well.
18:37 Government has done well,
18:39 as I said, COVID has presented an opportunity
18:42 to boost our healthcare system,

43:54 And there's a lock or something.
43:56 As far as the first one, it happened.
43:59 You can continue doing it,
