07:58 Honorable Minority Leader, let me assure you that we're going to have a time of bipartisanship.
08:08 I want to assure you of my commitment. The situation is when you are playing No. 5, you are the defender.
08:18 You are supposed to be abrasive. But now as a striker, I cannot use that strategy.
08:24 So there will be no more A at all.

09:06 with immediate effects that is consequent upon this communication.
09:12 [Speaking in Swahili]
09:18 We cannot help, Mr. Speaker, but respect his decision to take a bow.
09:24 Without a doubt, the venerable former leader of this House will be fondly missed.
09:33 Mr. Speaker, as he leaves the majority frontbench now, towards his final bow,
09:39 my earnest wish is that he will be kind to avail his wealthy experience and knowledge to members of this House from both sides to tap in.

20:53 [Speaking in Swahili]
20:56 Because without justice, there can be no peace.
20:59 And so I urge that all the faith-based organizations, including Amadea,
21:07 you include in your advocacy for peace, also the advocacy for justice.
21:12 Because it is the lack of justice that leads to an abrogation of peace.
21:22 And I can give two recent examples.
21:26 We all know what happened during the by-election in Ayahuasca West Wagon.
21:31 Yes, the President set up a commission of inquiry.
21:34 The commission of inquiry gave its recommendations, which asked that some people be sanctioned.
21:39 As I speak, nobody has been sanctioned because of Ayahuasca West Wagon.
21:44 It also recommended compensation for the people who were injured.
21:48 As of now, they haven't received any such compensation.
21:51 And that's why I say, in addition to advocating for peace, we must also advocate for justice.
21:57 [Speaking in Swahili]
22:05 To have justice, we must have an electoral commission that is fair and neutral.
22:12 We must have an electoral commission that is fair and neutral.
22:16 Not one that springs surprises on the political stakeholders.
22:22 Wake up one morning and announce that you are shifting the election date.
22:26 And but for our protest, the electoral commission was determined to hold presidential elections in November this year.
22:33 Wake up one morning and say, "We won't use indelible ink anymore."
22:37 Everybody knows that. You cannot refuse to use indelible ink unless you introduce a new constitutional instrument into Parliament.
22:45 And as long as you don't have a new constitutional instrument, you cannot unilaterally declare that you are not going to use it.
