02:16 we've not brought any such action against those that are in the bedrocks.
02:19 Everybody chooses his victim.
02:21 So, we've decided that we're bringing Katie Amo.
02:24 Maybe another day it will be somebody else.
02:26 So, today we have chosen our victim to be Katie Amo.
02:29 This is Joseph Akable, and Katie Hammond,
02:33 the head of the court's committee, in the Edina City Court of Appeal.
02:37 In fact, we spoke to the NDC side, and they said that as far as they're concerned,
02:41 you have committed contempt of court.
02:44 That's what they think.
02:46 But ultimately, it's not for them to decide.
02:48 The arbiter of these matters is the presiding judge.
02:51 But I was misinformed.
02:53 I was told that the hearing was at 11.30.
02:56 It actually took place at 9.
02:58 No, no, no. You got it wrong.
03:00 I'm told that it was sometime past 10 o'clock.
03:03 But my lawyers were there.
03:05 My understanding is that it's been again to October, sometime October.
03:10 So, you have a point to get first before the process is completed.
03:13 You know all this.
03:15 We questioned from Malibu on why they picked you.
03:18 Because a lot of people talk about you.
03:20 Katie, I'm always your target. You do know that.
03:22 You don't have to do it.
03:24 Actually, a good man.
03:26 [speaking in Swahili]
03:40 [speaking in Swahili]
04:06 [speaking in Swahili]
04:15 Your house is not a bank.
04:17 It is your personal money.
04:19 Your house is not a bank.
04:21 So, senior city, traditional leaders, and opinion leaders should wake up.
04:26 Do thorough investigation about this matter.
04:30 As we are speaking now,
04:33 all the regions, particularly the northern region,
04:37 the one kingdom, I'm talking on behalf of my kingdom,
04:40 the kingdom, all the darkness and the heap refuse us.
04:44 The heap refuse us.
04:49 There's no vehicle to convey them.
04:52 And all the darkness has been destroyed, not replacement.
04:56 Why?
04:57 And such money kept in your house.
04:59 And it's under remuneration.
05:01 We will not let it go free.
05:04 [speaking in Swahili]
05:13 Entitled is not about wearing smocks around town, amici, amici.
05:17 Went by the title.
05:19 This is what we are doing.
05:21 So, government must wake up.
05:23 To do serious investigation on this matter.
05:27 And opinion leaders.
05:29 It's not only the one kingdom who fight over this.
05:32 It's our money.
05:34 It's not their money.
05:36 It's our money.
05:38 It's a country money.
05:40 So, Nenadu and his government should wake up to do serious investigation.
05:44 If not, the other ministers will also go that way.
05:47 [speaking in Swahili]
05:53 Sorry, I hope you don't mind.
05:55 [speaking in Swahili]
06:07 Engineers of all fraud or harm any of you see an institution of engineering and technology Ghana.
06:14 As a woman to my brother, what's wrong professional exam you a year would try engineers if a free.
06:20 [speaking in Swahili]
06:49 [speaking in Swahili]
07:01 Which is not right.
07:03 [speaking in Swahili]
07:05 Going forward, no.
07:07 [speaking in Swahili]
07:26 [speaking in Swahili]
07:37 [speaking in Swahili]
08:06 [speaking in Swahili]
08:09 Contemporary.

09:19 Last two years, 50 kg fertilizer, MPK, was around 98 GANACIDES.
09:29 This year, last year, it increased to 210 GANACIDES.
09:34 But all of a sudden this year, we are going as high as 450, 460 GANACIDES.
09:43 As a result, most of them could not project into the future, even if they projected.
09:51 This quantum of leap was not expected.
09:55 [speaking in Swahili]
10:07 The famine period is going over and nothing of the sort is in.
10:14 So we are appealing to the government that if they want...
10:20 [speaking in Swahili]
10:39 [speaking in Swahili]
11:07 In this room we have exemption requests since 2021.
11:11 2021!
11:13 And it is giving us problems, it is giving headaches.
11:16 Are you telling me that any serious investor coming to this country who has borrowed money from the bank
11:22 should sit down for two years before they get the exemption to create a good for the poor?
11:26 What are you doing to industry? You are killing industry.
11:29 [speaking in Swahili]
11:43 This house rejected those referrals and asked the finance committee to re-look and do further research into the matter.
11:51 It is not right and it is wrong for you to think that the finance committee of which I am a member has failed to sit on the referrals.
12:01 We sat on it, we brought it to this house, this house rejected it and referred it back to the finance committee to look at it again.
12:09 And that is why we are not able to submit those referrals.
12:12 [speaking in Swahili]
12:18 That somebody is deliberately stifling the passage of tax waivers.
12:23 And let me remind you that we have granted tax waivers to many companies who are actually not doing anything.
12:34 And you know about it.
12:36 So encouraging us to be giving tax waivers just because the people have demanded it is not correct.
12:42 [speaking in Swahili]
13:01 [speaking in Swahili]

15:46 So let's get closer home and look at the cancer burden in Ghana.
15:49 And here I'm looking at a five year prevalence.
15:53 Breast cancer tops the list.
15:56 For every hundred thousand Ghanians, about 66 of them would have breast cancer.
16:04 So that brings it, if you work with 31 million, you are talking about over 20,000 breast cancer cases.
16:11 Then it is followed by cervical cancer, which doesn't appear at the global level because it's a preventable disease.
16:18 But we are still battling with it. And it's number two.
16:22 For every hundred thousand, we have about 39 people with cervical cancer.
16:27 President of the Ghana Medical Association, Dr. Frank Sribo, also added to just say,
16:33 [speaking in Swahili]
16:39 This is a disease that when you get, your chance of survival is even very low.
16:45 And so there is no question about the fact that we are having an epidemic.
16:50 And clearly, we need to do something about it.
16:54 And I am worried, especially with our lifestyle and the things that we are doing currently,
16:59 relating to even the issue of cancer.
17:01 Shisha. Almost all our girls are smoking shisha. Our boys are smoking shisha.
17:05 And sadly, it's the girls who are even doing it more.
17:08 And if you are told that with one shisha session, you would have smoked, it means you have smoked 106 of cigarettes.
17:16 [music]

20:26 You can invest $145 million in the provision of infrastructure.
20:34 You are renovating Games Village.
20:37 You are building the world-class rugby field.
20:39 You are making sure that all our tracks are going to be certified by the World Athletic Federation.
20:47 All these things are done.
20:49 Then when they come to the competition, then we don't get medals.
20:53 I know the media, you crucify the NEC and myself.
20:56 [speaking in Swahili]
21:25 [speaking in Swahili]
21:53 [speaking in Swahili]
22:22 [music]
22:25 [speaking in Swahili]
22:38 When it happened, I called Rich.
22:40 I was like, "Richie, how many times or for how long will these things happen?"
22:45 And we say, "Enyeshe."
22:46 You know, Ghanians, we like peace.
22:47 Maybe they say, "Oh, enyeshe."
22:49 How long will we have to keep doing this?
22:51 Because people are taking advantage, obviously, as you can see.
22:54 There needs to be some course of action.
22:56 But upon a lot of conversations and stuff, we decided to not feed our energy into it too much.
23:02 Let's move on from it.
23:04 But were you indisposed?
23:07 Yeah.
23:08 Okay.
23:09 But how did people know?
23:11 How did people know what?
23:12 That you were indisposed?
23:14 Because, yeah, we are, yeah, we are.
23:16 I mean, you are human.
23:17 Everyone can get sick.
23:18 But it came from the fact that I canceled my North American tour.
