Trump May Face 'Humiliating Experience' When Searched In 'Huge Open Area' With 'Nothing Private,' Says Lawyer

Former President Donald Trump is set to surrender to Georgia authorities this Thursday on charges related to election interference. However, the experience is expected to be a “humiliating” one if Fulton County mets out a treatment equivalent to that of any other accused offender, Business Insider reported.

Atlanta attorney Michael Harper, who has previously sued the jail three times on behalf of inmate families, suggests Trump could anticipate a “humiliating experience” during his booking process.

“He can expect a humiliating experience. Just being searched, photographed, and fingerprinted amongst other people,” Harper said.

The process of booking into Fulton County Jail can take several hours, Harper noted, describing the intake area as a “huge open area” with “nothing private.”
