00:13 On today's episode, we are taking a trip
00:15 to Kern County's number one place
00:17 for all your wedding dresses, tuxedos,
00:20 and accessories for your big day.
00:21 Let's check out Ladies and Gents Bridal.
00:24 Wedding season is upon us, Kern County,
00:26 and there's no better place to be in town
00:28 than Ladies and Gents Bridal.
00:30 Now, we're gonna go inside and talk to some of the people
00:32 about the services that they have to offer,
00:34 and in addition to that, I'm gonna try on a suit
00:36 because I need one.
00:38 So with all that being said, let's go check it out.

00:43 Okay, now that we finally made it inside,
00:47 I think I found the right person to talk to.
00:49 She goes by the name of Allie.
00:50 Allie, how are you?
00:51 - I'm good, how are you?
00:52 - I'm great.
00:53 Now, could you tell Kern County a little bit
00:54 about what you do here at Ladies and Gents Bridal?
00:57 - Yeah, so I've been working here about five years now,
00:59 and Ladies and Gents is a locally owned business.
01:02 Coming up April of next year, actually, it'll be 30 years.
01:05 We've been open, so we decided to expand
01:07 and now have our second location here in the Northwest.
01:10 - So what have been some of your favorite moments
01:12 while helping people with their big day?
01:14 - I don't know that I could pick a favorite moment,
01:17 honestly, I think just working here in general
01:18 is a really special job.
01:20 We start finding the dress, go through alterations,
01:22 we pick out all their stuff for bridesmaids, tuxes,
01:25 and then we're really working with them
01:27 up until their wedding day,
01:28 and we really just become such a big part
01:31 of such a special time for them.
01:33 - In addition to weddings, do you fit people for proms,
01:35 maybe just special events?
01:36 - Yeah, so we do a lot.
01:37 We do wedding dresses, bridesmaids' dresses,
01:40 flower girls, mothers, tuxes,
01:43 and then we have a ton of formal and prom gowns as well,
01:46 and then we have an alterations department too,
01:48 so that doesn't just have to be our product.
01:50 We work with anything outside as well,
01:52 wedding attire or not, they can bring it in
01:54 and we'll definitely check out what we can do with it.
01:56 - So for those that are watching at home

02:04 - So we have our location here on Coffee Road,
02:07 and then we still have our location off of Oak as well,
02:10 which is strictly to buy items off of the rack.

02:19 We have a lot of exciting stuff coming up.
02:21 We have a grand opening event, a lot of different specials,
02:24 and then with the holidays coming up,
