01:32 The Boom Studios comics expanded on his character
01:35 and gave him more history with the Ranger legacy
01:37 for those who loved this extra teammate.

01:45 - Number 19, Aiden Romero, aka Levi Weston,
01:50 Power Rangers Ninja Steel,
01:52 and Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel.
01:54 - You're messing with the wrong cowboy, partner.
01:56 - And you're messing with the wrong monster!
01:59 - Gold Ninja, Power Star, lock in!
02:03 - When we first met the mysterious Gold Ranger,
02:05 he turned out to be famed country Western star, Levi Weston.
02:10 He was abducted by Madam Odius
02:12 when he found the Gold Power Star and eventually escaped.
02:15 However, there was more to his story
02:17 that even he didn't know.
02:19 It turned out that he was also
02:21 Red Ranger Brody's missing brother, Aiden.
02:24 The Gold Ranger didn't remember
02:25 because the evil Odius had stolen the memories of his family.
02:29 But when he and his brother finally reunited,
02:32 there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

03:03 - Decades ago, Leonbo was the virtuous and courageous leader

03:11 At the end of the battle, he was presumed dead.
03:14 But he was actually cursed
03:15 into becoming Korag the Nightwolf.
03:18 While he had no memory of his former life,
03:20 Leonbo's sense of honor remained with his new form.
03:24 Once he broke away from his corruption,
03:26 he fought alongside the Mystic Force Rangers
03:28 as the Wolf Warrior.

03:47 Number 17, Tizon Tai, Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
03:52 Years ago, Tizon was part of a rescue team
03:56 on the planet Mercuria.
03:58 Unfortunately, most of his team was destroyed
04:00 by a mining ambush.
04:02 He was turned into a monster
04:04 and forced into servitude against his will.
04:07 Thankfully, the Rangers cured him
04:08 and he eventually joined them as the Mercury Ranger.

04:13 - I won't allow you or anyone else
04:15 to terrorize this planet.
04:17 I'm a rescuer and a Power Ranger.
04:19 - Tai's survivor guilt made him hesitant
04:21 to be part of a team again.
04:23 But as he grew closer to the Rangers,
04:25 he became more eager to learn more about them.
04:28 Tai also trusted his new friends so much
04:31 that they helped him heal his heart and mental scars.
04:34 Best of all, his new Ranger abilities
04:37 allowed him to take his role as a rescuer to new heights.

04:51 Unlike Jaden and his team,
04:52 Antonio wasn't born into the life of a samurai.
04:55 He was Jaden's childhood friend
04:57 and grew up to be a charismatic fisherman.
05:00 Antonio trained himself up
05:02 and eventually made a big entrance
05:04 as the Gold Samurai Ranger.

05:14 which perfectly fits his lightning fast fighting techniques.

05:23 to hold his own on the battlefield.
05:26 He's also an expert tech whiz
05:28 who built his own morpher and even programmed two zords.

05:35 to be a hero and a samurai.

06:42 Originally, Nate was forced to make a robot to host Evox.
06:46 Thanks to his tinkering,
06:47 the robot absorbed human and beetle DNA
06:50 and became the Silver Grid Battle Force Ranger.
06:53 Steel can be pretty vain and self-obsessed,
06:56 but he's also honest and noble.
06:59 Steel's also the big brother figure Nate always wanted.
07:02 His biggest arc throughout Beast Morphers
07:05 was his wanting to be human.
07:06 He even sang a huge musical number about it.
07:09 ♪ People say I was a very gorgeous robot ♪
07:13 ♪ But now I've got great teeth and hair ♪
07:16 In the final battle, Steel's wish was granted
07:19 when he heroically sacrificed himself
07:22 and was miraculously revived fully human.
07:25 He even became a movie star.

07:29 Steel's willpower was just as authentic as any human's.

07:40 - Number 13, Sir Ivan of Xandar,
07:43 Power Rangers Dino Charge
07:45 and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge.

07:49 When I pledge my loyalty, it is for life.
07:52 - Centuries ago, Sir Ivan was a virtuous knight of Xandar.
07:56 One day, he discovered the gold Energem
07:59 and came into conflict with the monstrous general, Fury.
08:02 He became trapped within Fury's body for 800 years
08:07 before finally escaping in modern times.
08:10 Ivan was then ready to face his captor
08:12 as the gold Dino Charge Ranger.
08:15 Being literally ahead of his time,

08:36 But Ivan would gladly return to the present

08:47 - Number 12, Jem and Jemma, Power Rangers RPM.
08:52 When Dr. K was abducted by Alphabet Soup,
08:54 she met a pair of twins named Jem and Jemma.
08:57 Although she was cold and distant with them,
08:59 the two still saw her as a friend
09:01 and even helped her escape the facility.
09:04 They disappeared for several years
09:05 before finally returning as the Gold and Silver Rangers.
09:09 The two can act childish and reckless,
09:12 earning them the nickname the Boom Twins.
09:14 - Listen to me.
09:15 If we plan to triangulate our fire, then we can--
09:18 - Then it's boom time!
09:20 - Jemma, wait!
09:21 - But their loyalty to their team and Dr. K is unquestioned.
09:25 Even though their methods can get a little messy,
09:27 seeing them get deleted in the penultimate episode
09:30 was heart-wrenching.
09:31 Fortunately, they returned triumphantly in the finale
09:35 to show the evil Venjix what happens
09:37 when you mess with the Boom Twins.

09:45 - Number 11, Zane, Power Rangers in space.
09:49 While Andros is the serious type,
09:51 there was only one person who could make him laugh,
09:54 Zane, the Silver Ranger.
09:56 - Whatever it is you just said,
09:58 I'm gonna make you eat your words.
10:00 - Years ago, Zane fought alongside Andros as his best friend.
10:04 However, he was mortally injured
10:06 and kept in a cryogenic tube,
10:08 becoming a symbol of the risks of being a ranger.
10:12 Luckily, he was awoken two years later,
10:14 ready to fight again after fixing his morpher glitch.
10:18 - Here goes nothing.
10:19 (dramatic music)
10:21 - Though he's a little cocky,
10:25 Zane's dependability is unquestioned,
10:28 and he is more than ready to aid anyone in need,
10:31 sometimes through more unorthodox means.
10:34 Unfortunately, Zane teaches us another lesson of value,
10:38 the risks of dating your team's arch nemesis.
10:41 Number 10, Ryan Mitchell, Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue.
10:46 - Who are you?
10:47 - I'm your worst nightmare.
10:49 - To save his life, Captain Mitchell reluctantly allowed
10:52 Diabolico to take his only son, Ryan,
10:55 never to be seen until his 20th birthday.
10:59 Raised by Diabolico's lies,
11:01 Ryan stole a prototype morpher
11:03 and became the very first US exclusive ranger,
11:06 the Titanium Ranger.
11:08 Much like another famous Sixth Ranger,
11:11 Ryan returned to the light as a loyal ally,
11:14 even overcoming one of Diabolico's deadly curses.
11:17 Due to the lack of Sentai footage,
11:19 Ryan couldn't fight as much after his introduction,
11:22 but he made himself useful while he was away,
11:25 gathering information to help defeat the demons
11:28 before joining in the final fight.

11:35 Number nine, Robert "RJ" James, Power Rangers Jungle Fury.
11:41 At first glance, RJ doesn't seem like your typical mentor.
11:46 - You're him, you're our master.
11:48 - Oh, just call me RJ.
11:52 Now, my students, the real journey begins.
11:56 - He's a laid back surfer dude who owns a pizza parlor,
12:00 but when you see him in action during a fight,
12:02 you'll see how he more than earned his stripes.
12:05 While RJ's teaching methods are unorthodox,
12:08 they're effective, and he brings his A-game even more
12:12 as the Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger.
12:14 Along with being the series' very first purple ranger,
12:17 RJ sends the bad guys running
12:19 with his kickboxing-style combat.
12:22 He certainly wasn't the jungle master anyone expected.
12:25 However, the rangers are very fortunate
12:28 to have RJ in their corner,
12:30 whether he's helping them grow through his wisdom
12:32 or fighting right beside them.
12:34 - Wolf Morpher!
12:35 (RJ grunts)
12:39 - Number eight, Merrick Balaton, Power Rangers Wild Force.
12:44 3,000 years ago, Merrick was an ancient warrior
12:47 sworn to protect Princess Shayla.
12:50 He helped win the war,
12:51 but he was cursed to become the Duke Org, Zenaku.
12:55 He put the rangers through the ringer in the present day
12:58 before they finally helped free him from the curse.
13:01 After that, Merrick vowed to atone for his misdeeds
13:04 and was given the chance to do so as the Lunar Wolf Ranger.
13:08 - Sniper mode!
13:09 It's time to get the crystals back.
13:12 - While the rangers are happy to have him,
13:16 Merrick prefers to keep to himself,
13:17 a lone wolf through and through.
13:19 Despite his loner attitude,
13:21 Merrick is dedicated to the cause
13:23 of protecting the Earth from the Orcs
13:25 and will happily fight beside the other rangers
13:28 to make it happen.
13:29 - Being a team player doesn't mean
13:31 we always have to be with each other.
13:32 When you need me, the wind will let me know.
13:37 - Number seven, Cameron "Cam" Watanabe,
13:41 Power Rangers Ninja Storm.
13:43 Cam is Sensei Kanoi's son, a snarky technical genius
13:47 that built the rangers' gadgets,
13:49 including the zords and vehicles.
13:51 - These are your Power Ranger wind morphers.
13:54 - He gave them a hard time at first
13:56 since his overprotective father wouldn't let him be a ranger
13:59 even though he has the skills.
14:01 However, when the other rangers lost their powers,
14:04 he traveled to the past to retrieve the Samurai Amulet.
14:08 - The Samurai Amulet has found its rightful owner.
14:11 - But this is yours, I can't take this.
14:12 - You must.
14:13 It's why you came here, isn't it?
14:14 - This not only restored their powers,
14:17 but also granted Cam the powers of the Green Samurai Ranger.
14:21 Since then, his relationship with his fellow rangers
14:24 improved greatly, and he even made his own cyber clone
14:28 to help run the dojo, allowing Cam to take his rightful place
14:32 fighting on the battlefield.
14:34 (roaring)
14:35 - Samurai Saber, power up!
14:38 - Number six, Trent Fernandez Mercer,
14:41 Power Rangers Dino Thunder.
14:43 - Don't come any closer.
14:45 You'll force me to do something I don't wanna do.
14:47 - Not unlike Tommy's origin,
14:49 Trent was the new kid in Reefside
14:51 and the adopted son of Anton Mercer,
14:54 the human half of the evil Mezzogog,
14:57 an artist by trade, he dreamt of being a superhero.
15:00 Unfortunately, the wild white dino gem granted him his wish.
15:05 - Why do we have to fight at all?
15:06 We're both rangers.
15:08 - You're good, I'm evil.
15:09 It's a pretty simple concept.
15:11 - Trapped as the evil white ranger
15:12 and slowly corrupted by the gem,
15:14 he became one of the rangers' most deadly foes,
15:18 until Dr. Mercer helped set him free.
15:21 He kept his father's Jekyll Hyde situation a secret
15:24 from the others, adding on to the rangers' trust issues,
15:28 but he's a true teammate who just wanted to save his father
15:31 from his monstrous half.
15:32 - This isn't finished.
15:34 - Losers can't be choosers, Zeltrax.
15:36 - Number five, Michael "Mike" Corbett,
15:39 Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
15:42 Leo's brother Mike was the one
15:43 who pulled the red quasar saber,
15:45 but he passed it on to Leo
15:47 when he fell to his supposed death in a chasm.
15:50 - No!
15:53 No!
15:55 - Fortunately, he was saved by the Magna Defender Spirit,
15:58 who used his body as a host.
16:00 When the warrior sacrificed himself,
16:02 Mike was set free and later given the tools
16:05 to become the new Magna Defender.
16:08 - This is unbelievable.
16:09 - Mike can be protective of his little brother,
16:11 but he wouldn't have given him the saber for nothing.
16:14 He may come off as a goody-goody Boy Scout,
16:17 but he's willing to do anything to protect his colony
16:19 and friends, including giving up his powers.
16:23 - Mike!
16:24 - Leo!
16:25 - No!
16:26 - Number four, Eric Meyers, Power Rangers Time Force.
16:30 Eric was a former prep school classmate of Wes's,
16:33 but he was bitter about his friend's success
16:35 when he had nothing.
16:37 - You had the money, all the right friends,
16:40 but you didn't know how to use them to your advantage.
16:42 - Jealousy drove him to try and outshine Wes,
16:45 eventually becoming captain of the Silver Guardians
16:48 and then the Quantum Ranger.
16:50 His stubbornness didn't help him as a team player,
16:53 but it did show his ambition to prove himself
16:55 all on his own, making him the perfect anti-hero ranger.
16:59 Near the end, he finally managed to let go of his pride
17:03 and reconcile with Wes, the two of them becoming
17:06 joint leaders of the Silver Guardians.
17:08 However, he still leaves a troubling first impression
17:11 with others.
17:12 Just ask the Wild Force Rangers.
17:15 - Hey!
17:15 You're the one who gave me a ticket this morning.
17:18 - Number three, Jason Lee Scott, Power Rangers Zeo.
17:22 There were plenty of red herrings
17:24 for the Gold Rangers' true identity,
17:26 but he revealed himself as Trey of Triforia.
17:29 - Okay, now it's my turn!
17:31 - Unfortunately, Trey was split into three
17:34 and couldn't wield the Gold Ranger powers,
17:36 so they transferred the powers to someone just as worthy,
17:39 the original Red Ranger himself, Jason.
17:43 - May they aid and protect you in the future.
17:45 - Thank you for trusting me with it.
17:47 - The roles from the first season became reversed.
17:49 Now Tommy was the Red Ranger's slash leader,
17:52 while Jason became the Sixth Ranger.
17:54 The one thing that'll never change,
17:56 Jason is still a dedicated ranger,
17:59 ready to take charge when needed, and never giving up.
18:02 Sadly, like when Tommy first lost his powers,
18:05 Jason had to return his to Trey in the finale
18:08 or lose his life.
18:10 - No matter what happens, man, we'll always be friends.
18:13 I know.
18:16 - Number two, Anubis "Doggy" Kruger, Power Rangers SPD.
18:21 Commander Kruger is the head of the SPD Delta Base.
18:25 He may run a tight ship, but he has a vulnerable side,
18:28 often haunted by the day his home planet
18:30 was destroyed by Grum's forces.
18:33 Though he vowed never to pick up his sword again,
18:35 an enemy from the past forces his hand.
18:38 Using the morpher Cat Manx made him,
18:40 he joins the fight as the SPD Shadow Ranger.
18:43 - This is what you get for messing with SPD.
18:47 Fire!
18:48 - Don't ask us how he fits his muzzle in that helmet.
18:51 Even though he's a formidable fighter
18:53 and an expert swordsman,
18:54 he firmly believes that no one ranger is more important.
18:58 Teamwork is the ultimate strategy
19:00 to bring justice throughout the universe.
19:03 - Now they match.
19:04 (explosion)
19:06 - You'll pay for this, Kruger.

19:51 However, Tommy would later make a rebound
19:53 as the white ranger/leader of the pack
19:56 before taking the reins as two red rangers.
20:00 - Guess who's back?
20:01 - Several years later, he'd be back in black
20:03 as the Dino Thunder's team mentor.
20:05 - Aren't you a little old for this, Tommy?
20:08 - I may be old, but I can still pull it off.
20:11 - It's hard to top the ranger that's done it all,
20:13 but no matter the color,
20:15 no matter how many times he retires,
20:17 Tommy is living proof that once a ranger, always a ranger.
20:21 Even with his actor's tragic passing in 2022,
20:25 the legacy of the greatest ranger of all time shall live on.
