00:00 Okay then Becky, just a few words for the nursery and what Sam's done for your kids
00:04 over the last year or so.
00:06 Oh, indescribable. This experience for the children, for my two, Willow and Kylika, has
00:12 been invaluable. They have grown just immeasurably in their confidence, their self-assertion,
00:19 their expectation that their education is about joy, about being met, about feeling
00:26 safe and held within a real, almost like a family unit. They have transformed into these
00:33 self-possessed, fiercely skilled little beings because little acorns, they just deliver on
00:40 every level. They are in the moment with all of our children. They follow their learning
00:46 just to every little degree and the children end up just exploring at their own pace and
00:51 their skills just blossom and it's just so apparent. I have never seen an early years
00:58 institute like it so I cannot speak more highly of how the children have transformed in only
01:03 seven or eight months of being little acorns with Sam and her team.
01:08 How did parents feel when they found out the news was going after Klaus?
01:12 Devastated, really devastated. Obviously myself, I felt like that. First and foremost for the
01:19 children, this is a home from home for all of these children and they expect to be met
01:29 with love, joy and excitement in their learning and how they're developing and so to think
01:36 that they won't have that at the end of the year was just devastating. It was really,
01:41 it's quite hard to put into words. This is such important work that Sam and her team
01:47 do. She's fostering so much more than education. Their personal development is coming on so
01:54 much and foundational skills that they take forward in their life and to know that that
01:59 just wasn't going to be there, I know from parents and myself that was devastating. We
02:04 also felt very sad for Sam and her tight knit small team because it's had a massive impact
02:13 on their lives and foremost they want to be able to continue doing the great work that
02:17 they do and that became not an option anymore so devastating I think is the word.
02:22 I know Sam hasn't given a report yet of possibly failing a premises to continue with the nursery.
02:27 If someone sees this video, reads this article, what would your message be?
02:30 Oh please reach out to Sam. Sam's work is so important with children and you never know.
02:38 I think Sam could do magic with something very minimal. She just needs a premises and
02:43 I know she has absolutely not given up hope and I'm sure that she will find somewhere.
02:47 If you have any thought that you might have something to offer, you would be about to
02:53 embark on something really exciting. Contact her. She's really in need of just a little
02:59 bit of help to start up again. So yeah, just don't hesitate to contact her.
03:05 Ta-ta.
