00:04 the health department is worried about the diseases that can be contracted here.
00:08 There is leptospirosis.
00:10 It can infect people who have wounds, usually in the feet or other parts of the body,

00:23 Most of the animals we see are infected, their bodies are sick, and they turn yellow,

00:38 To avoid leptospirosis, avoid getting wet.

00:46 According to the DOH, there are 2,000 cases of leptospirosis that were recorded this year.
00:51 Meanwhile, there were more than 4,700 cases in 2022.
00:55 In the past month, 182 new cases were reported.
00:59 The agency expects that this will increase due to the late reporting.
