0-100km/h Acceleration 5.2 Seconds, 528 Km Range, New Kia EV6 GT SUV 2024
The new car is built based on the new E-GMP electric architecture and offers regular, GT-Line and GT models. The new car was previously unveiled at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show. The most powerful model is the GT version, equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a maximum output of 430kW and 740Nm and an acceleration of only 3.5s.
The EV6 was built according to the "Opposites United" design concept. The front of the new car adopts a thin grille with backward-sloping headlights, and around the headlights are matrix daytime running lights with a very strong resolution. The housing under the front face can visually expand the front face, effectively reduce the wind resistance and optimize the aerodynamics of the vehicle.
The side profile of the new car uses sharp body lines and a false roof design to create a very dynamic visual impact. At the rear of the car, the slightly slippery rear is paired with a unique roof spoiler and extravagant piercing LED taillights that not only accentuate its high-tech look, but also have a strong sense of movement. Its length, width and height dimensions are 4695x1890x1545mm and the wheelbase is 2900mm. While the body size can be classified as compact in the traditional sense, the wheelbase is precisely mid-car. This is one of the features of the new electric car.
The interior of the new car uses dual 12-inch curved screens, matching touch buttons, a knob-type shift mechanism and a dual-spoke bi-colour multifunction steering wheel, making the new car look sci-fi and avant-garde. It is also worth noting that the new car is equipped with Kia's innovative vehicle interconnection system "Kia Connect", which supports rich functions such as locating electric vehicle charging stations and charging prices.
In terms of power, the Kia EV6 has quite a variety of options, providing all-wheel drive and two-wheel drive, alongside a long-range version with a 77.4kWh battery pack and a standard endurance version with a 58kWh battery pack. Among them, the EV6 standard endurance rear-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 125kW (170PS) and a maximum torque of 350Nm; The EV6 standard endurance all-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 173kW (235PS) and a maximum torque of 605N •m and completes 0-100km/h in 6.2 Seconds. The EV6 long-life rear-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 168kW (228PS), a maximum torque of 350Nm and a maximum endurance of 528km (WLTP), 0-100km/h acceleration completes in 5.2 seconds.
