00:00 Wow, this looks like a crocodile.
00:04 My name's Stephen Foster, I'm Centre Director here at White Rose Shopping Centre based in South Leeds.
00:10 White Rose has gone prehistoric, we've seen the arrival of 11 dinosaur sites up and down the Mall
00:16 and yes, we've got a dino discovery trail which is now live until the 3rd of September.
00:22 We've got flying pterodactyls, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Brontosaurus which is stood behind me
00:27 and the idea is that the family will take one of our trail maps, mark them off as they walk around,
00:33 answer the quiz questions that are there, then at the end they'll take to our customer services desk
00:38 where they'll get a sticker and a headwear as well to say thank you for taking part.
00:42 So, you know, nice free fun for the family.
00:45 It's our biggest installation we've ever had at White Rose, which will be fantastic.
00:49 We've had some challenges, getting some of the dinosaurs through some of the doors that the guests come through
00:54 as you can appreciate has not been easy.
00:57 Just behind me you can see we've got Brad and Daisy, that we've named them.
01:01 These are 17ft tall, which are effectively slightly bigger than a double-decker bus,
01:05 so you can imagine the logistics of trying to bring dinosaurs in of that kind of size.
01:10 What do you think about the dinosaurs, Oliver?
01:19 What's your favourite dinosaur?
01:21 T-Rex.
01:22 Have you found the T-Rex on the map yet?
01:24 No, not yet.
01:26 Which dinosaurs have we seen so far?
01:28 The T-Rex and the Lop-Lop.
01:31 Are you excited to see the rest of them?
01:34 Yes.
01:35 Do you like the dinosaurs, Hallie?
01:38 Can you roar like a dinosaur?
01:41 It's a really nice free event for the children to do, especially who've got two little dinosaur fans,
01:47 so we're looking forward to a busy morning of dinosaur hunting.
01:51 It's been lots of fun. We've found 12 or 13 dinosaurs, haven't we?
01:55 Even ones that were flying up in the ceiling.
01:58 Which were your favourite?
02:00 The Stegosaurus.
02:05 Lots and lots of big ones and small ones, and you got to hide in the eggs as well, didn't you,
02:10 which was fun, and poke out. So, yes, it's been a really good fun day.
02:13 In addition to the trail that we've done, we wanted to make sure there was a special occasion.
02:18 Every Friday we do Dino Days between 11 o'clock and 4 o'clock,
02:22 normally held outside in the village.
02:24 We're giving people a chance to get up and close to the dinosaurs,
02:27 bring more dinosaurs in that move.
02:29 There's a bit of education going on, so people learn more about baby dinosaurs as well.
02:33 What we're trying to do is combine fun with learning as well for the family.
02:37 I still watch Jurassic Park and Jurassic World with my family now, many, many years.
02:41 I think dinosaurs, people just really love getting involved with them.
02:44 The fact that they move, they make noise, derisates the scariness.
02:48 There's a little bit of fear with dinosaurs that make people,
02:51 and you can hear now on the sound, the roaring that's coming.
02:54 So, full of our sites up and down the mile will have roaring noises as well.
02:58 So, keep people on their toes and don't go too close to them.
