Akin Famewo discusses Sheffield Wednesday's Luton Town defeat and his left back role
Transcript
00:00 Yeah, it was good. It was good to really get the hang of what the coach was asking for us and it was good to implement it.
00:07 Obviously, we always want to win every game we play, but it's a great step in the right direction.
00:11 No credit to them as well. Obviously, they've achieved something great in us.
00:14 But yeah, I think we really held our own.
00:16 I enjoyed playing the way that we played and it felt like there wasn't, with no disrespect, there wasn't too much difference between us.
00:23 I hope he sees me as someone that can play in both positions because, to be honest, as long as I'm on the pitch and helping the team, I don't really mind too much.
00:28 But yeah, I mean, I enjoyed it today, but I still got some learning to do.
00:33 When I was younger, yeah, to be fair, I was a left back before I became a centre-half, but it's different when you're playing professional level.
00:39 So yeah, I haven't played left back too much in professional level, but I mean, I hope today I showed that I can at least hold my own.
