00:00 What do you think Sheffield needs more of?
00:02 More public toilets.
00:04 I remember as a child there was toilets in FitzAlan Square, you know, cafes had toilets,
00:13 there was big department stores with toilets.
00:18 I mean, you could never be far, you know, too far without a toilet.
00:24 Instead now you have to say, "Oh, do you mind if I go into a pub or something? Do you mind if I use your toilet? I'll pay, I'll pay 50 pence or something."
00:34 But yeah, toilets are really, you know, as I gain older.
00:40 What do you think Sheffield needs more of?
00:42 I think good quality shops. Sadly, they're losing that because the internet's taking all the sales away.
00:50 When Coles was here it was a lovely shop. Not that I'm a big shopper, but to come into Sheffield,
00:57 do a bit of shopping with a wife and then end up at Mamma's for a nice Italian food, yeah, it's great.
01:04 So it could do with more shopping outlets, I think.
01:08 What do you think Sheffield needs more of?
01:11 More toilets in the city centre, shops, some nice, lovely shops, which most of them are closed down now,
01:22 and more cleanliness. It's got to be cleaned up, Sheffield. It's so disappointing.
01:30 Very disappointing when I came to town today. It was very disappointing.
01:36 What does Sheffield need more of?
01:38 A complete new revamp in the city centre. It's absolutely disgusting.
01:44 Is there anything in particular that you'd like to see more of in terms of anything?
01:48 Clean shops, I'm watching it. No graffiti. When you walk down the sidewalk and you see graffiti, it could do with a good clean.
01:55 So more clean-ups?
01:57 Absolutely. We must have the worst city centre in England.
02:02 What do you think Sheffield needs more of?
02:05 Everything. For me, it's just changed beyond anything. I don't come to town anymore.
02:12 The only reason I come to town, like today, is because there's a particular reason, like going to the bank with my daughter,
02:19 or going to the theatre maybe. It's just totally changed. It's a very hard place to get around if you're disabled like me.
02:26 Access is a real problem nowadays.
