00:04 Okay, before we show you these headlines in the NFL,
00:08 Chauncey Gardner Johnson of the Detroit Lions was hurt in practice today.
00:14 And it looks like it's a non-contact injury and
00:17 when those happen it could potentially be serious.
00:19 We won't speculate beyond that, but
00:20 this is a very key contributor to the Lions this season.
00:23 So if we get something for you,
00:25 we will give it to you a little bit later in the show.
00:28 Let's get to now the very latest in the National Football League.
00:31 The star running backs in the NFL have met on a Zoom to discuss the state of
00:35 the position.
00:36 And this obviously stems from the contract negotiations with Saquon Barkley and
00:41 some of the other one year deals like Dalvin Cook still sitting out.
00:45 Running backs are trying to find a way to get paid and
00:49 not have their careers ended in like four years.
00:51 Kedarious Toney, who's been often injured with the Giants and
00:54 the Chiefs, exited practice with a knee injury yesterday.
00:57 Now this is the one that just broke a short time ago.
01:01 Naheem Hines, who's now on the Buffalo Bills,
01:03 if you remember he got traded there last year, he's expected to miss the entire
01:06 season.
01:07 There is a report that he was on a jet ski and another jet ski ran into him and
01:14 created the injury non-life threatening.
01:16 But my gosh, like crazy, gonna miss the entire season because of this.
01:20 Hines out for the season for the Buffalo Bills.
01:22 They're gonna have to find another returner/third running back.
01:25 Of course, James Cook was one of the primary guys there going into the season.
01:30 Florida A&M, FAMU, they've paused their football activities after somehow
01:35 a rap video was shot in their locker room.
01:38 Their head coach came out and said, we do not endorse this.
01:41 We do not know exactly how this ended up happening.
01:44 But naturally, it looks like maybe some stuff was happening behind the scenes,
01:48 potentially with their football program allowing this to happen.
