00:11 - Greetings grapple fans,
00:35 and welcome to the latest edition of Kent Pro Wrestling.
00:38 Here on KMTV, I'll be your host, Mr. Dow Jones,
00:43 and I will be bringing you the action
00:45 from UKPW in Canterbury.
00:48 We have four, that's right, four phenomenal matches.
00:52 When Harry Sefton takes on Jaco Grady,
00:55 Rex Armstrong takes on Stuart Shepard,
00:58 and in our main event,
01:00 it is the Inter-Regional Championship,
01:02 when Danny Black defends the championship
01:05 against the Intergalactic Styles of Truman Roswell.
01:08 But first, grapple fans, we take you to women's action,
01:11 when debuting Reign Leverkusen
01:14 takes on Meme Team's Artemis.
01:17 Let's take you to the commentation station by ringside.
01:21 - Representing Meme Team,
01:24 cheers for Frozen Feelshots, Artemis,
01:27 and her opponents, headed from HoloVis,
01:33 and making her UKPW debut,
01:36 please welcome Reign Leverkusen!
01:40 (bell rings)
01:43 - As we see Artemis and her debuting Reign Leverkusen.
01:46 - What we're gonna see here as well is a contrast in styles.
01:53 I've trained extensively with both of these guys.
01:56 Reign is more of a technician,
02:00 more of a speedy character,
02:02 whereas Artemis, as you can see, is a powerhouse.
02:06 - She is indeed a powerhouse.
02:08 - And she is gonna use that, I promise you.
02:12 - She's well into her lifting, is Artemis.
02:15 Reign Leverkusen looking to make a name for herself
02:18 on her debut here in UKPW.
02:20 - She certainly does lift.
02:23 - Oh, look at that.
02:24 Artemis just not fazed at all.
02:30 I think we'd call it, I think that might be it.
02:32 - Well, Reign's, well, if Reign can get to her feet
02:35 and continue this match, which she, yep, she's doing,
02:39 it's gonna be very interesting to see how,
02:42 just how is she going to find a way to defeat Artemis.
02:46 Oh, that was quite impressive.
02:49 - Extremely crafty, I would call it.
02:52 You've gotta watch her.
02:58 - Back to that wrist, back to that wrist.
03:00 - She is using that technical ability on Artemis.
03:06 And Artemis looking to use her strength to back out.
03:09 Look at that from whence she followed through
03:11 and kept it locked in.
03:13 - You see that tape, that K-tape on that wrist as well.
03:15 She's clearly seen her target.
03:18 There you go, that's what you gotta do.
03:23 - Yeah, whatever works.
03:25 - And Reign again, slippery like a little serpent
03:27 getting out of that headlock.
03:29 - Having another standoff.
03:30 She went for that arm dragging.
03:32 No, Artemis is not gonna go over that easy, Reign.
03:35 - That's the power, oh!
03:37 - Pulsar over, and not even a one.
03:39 And Artemis, shows you she's starting to look
03:42 very, very annoyed.
03:45 She's not the Artemis we expected.
03:50 - Go behind.
03:52 And there's that power game again.
03:56 - I think it is.
03:57 (crowd cheering)
04:00 - Oh, look at that from Reign.
04:03 And I love when you see Guru there from Reign,
04:05 sending Artemis down.
04:06 - Matrix action, man.
04:08 And this audience is digging it.
04:12 She's about to make it, Reign.
04:16 - Shuffling away.
04:17 (crowd chanting)
04:20 - Oh, Artemis just shuffles her away.
04:25 - That's it, man, you can backstab her.
04:28 - Beautifully executed from Reign.
04:30 - Does not matter how powerful you are,
04:34 two knees to the back will take you down.
04:36 - And that's exactly what we've just witnessed.
04:38 And what's she trying to do?
04:39 She's trying to get her over.
04:41 - I would assume for a Boston Crab.
04:45 - Maybe.
04:45 - Working.
04:48 - Maybe a line tamer.
04:49 - She think at the beginning of this match,
04:52 she was working that wrist,
04:53 but it looks like she's now working that back.
04:56 - Indeed.
04:57 - Yeah, looking to be going for what she calls Storm's End,
04:59 which is a version of a line tamer that she uses.
05:02 - And what are you doing back there, Mr. Wayne?
05:03 I thought Harry Sefton ejected you.
05:05 - Well, I mean, once he left,
05:06 I felt he was fairly taut out.
05:07 - You better hope he doesn't see you out here again.
05:09 - Let's hope.
05:10 - But let's not wait, he's back with us as well.
05:11 - Hello, guys.
05:12 He's been taking it in thus far.
05:15 - And Artemis now looking to assert her authority
05:21 and her domination in this match.
05:23 - Look at that.
05:24 - As she chokes out with that high boot.
05:27 - Absolute athlete.
05:28 - And another one.
05:30 - One, two, three.
05:32 - Got the strength, she's got the technique,
05:34 she's got the flexibility.
05:36 She is not messing around.
05:39 - She's a true specimen, is Artemis,
05:44 of power and strength.
05:49 And Rain Lett, who's been fighting her out.
05:52 On her debut with, oh my goodness.
05:54 - Right on her back.
05:56 - Oh, I think stop was like wrong.
05:59 - And count of two.
06:03 - The audience here trying to will Rain back into this one.
06:06 I don't think it's gonna be enough.
06:07 I don't think that there's enough claps in the world
06:11 to stop Artemis, I'm not gonna lie.
06:13 - I think you may be right.
06:16 There's that knee to the chest.
06:18 - Going for another Irish.
06:21 - Oh.
06:22 - Oh, wait a minute.
06:22 Oh, that's from Rain.
06:23 - Up and over.
06:24 - Oh, back down low, sending Artemis down.
06:27 - Impressive debut showing from Rain Lebekuzin.
06:30 - Oh my goodness, a two count.
06:33 - Just a two, just a two.
06:35 You gotta do more than that.
06:39 - Not for the cross body, but Artemis caught her.
06:43 - That power, man.
06:44 You cannot.
06:45 - Oh, and a power slam.
06:51 That's gotta be it.
06:52 - Oh, and a two count again.
06:54 - So close too, every time it's close.
06:57 - She's a tough cookie, this Rain.
06:59 Gotta give it to her.
07:00 - Absolutely.
07:01 Already connected with the crowd in her debut
07:07 and she's only a few minutes in.
07:08 - Look at that.
07:13 Driving her face into the canvas.
07:16 Just a straight up foot to the head.
07:18 What else do you need to say?
07:21 - Oh, Rain desperately fighting back.
07:23 Another knee there from Artemis.
07:25 - Irish whip, and there you go.
07:31 Targeting that midsection, that lower back.
07:34 And again, worked the first time, it's gonna work again.
07:40 - Look at the look on Artemis' face.
07:42 - She's loving it, man.
07:43 - She really is.
07:44 - She loves giving out pain.
07:47 - Oh my God.
07:48 And Rain surely doesn't have much left.
07:52 - No, those...
07:53 Ah, just a two count.
07:54 - Still enough to kick out.
07:56 - Still just enough in the tank to...
07:57 - Those kitchen sink knees,
07:59 they will drive the air out of you.
08:01 - It's gonna go well now, here we go.
08:03 - Here we go.
08:04 - I cannot...
08:05 - And the crowd's already trying
08:06 to get Rain back in this fight.
08:08 - How unappreciated this hold is.
08:11 You have someone's knee in his spine,
08:12 you are pulling your arms and shoulders
08:15 back in the opposite direction.
08:17 (crowd cheering)
08:18 - But somehow Rain...
08:19 - Nah.
08:20 - Oh, but Artemis straight puts her...
08:23 - Rain trying to reverse the momentum there,
08:24 but Artemis obviously saw it coming.
08:26 - That's the other thing about Artemis.
08:31 We've heard about her strength, her technique,
08:33 her flexibility, but she's also got that brain.
08:36 She's got such a good brain for this business.
08:38 - No argument there.
08:45 - And the foot again.
08:46 You talk about working body parts,
08:52 Rain has had multiple body parts work today.
08:57 - Artemis hooking that leg,
09:00 that's a fisherman's...
09:03 No bridge, which I thought she might have gone for.
09:05 Kick to the shoulder.
09:07 - Going back to that arm.
09:08 - Just a straight up, nothing pretty about it,
09:14 just your face to the canvas.
09:16 And again, just grinding the bottom of her foot
09:21 along the back of the head of Rain.
09:23 - Oh.
09:24 - And look at that, Rain very little left in that tank.
09:26 She got very little left in that tank,
09:28 but she's still...
09:28 - Pathetic, to be honest, pretty pathetic.
09:31 - Well, it's desperation more than anything.
09:33 She's had a lot taken out of her.
09:35 - I think there's a lot of heart being shown here.
09:37 - Absolutely.
09:38 - It's gonna take more than heart.
09:40 It's gonna take much more than heart
09:41 to get rid of Artemis.
09:43 - You might be right there.
09:44 - Just gonna be honest,
09:46 just gonna tell the truth, you know?
09:49 There you go, that's it.
09:50 Boot to the face, one, two, three,
09:52 come on, Artemis, get it done.
09:54 That's it.
09:56 One, two.
09:58 Oh!
09:59 - Rain is still not letting this one drop.
10:02 She's determined to put in a strong showing for her debut,
10:05 and I think so far she's done an admirable job.
10:07 - Absolutely.
10:10 Boot to the midsection.
10:13 What's going on here?
10:14 No way, no.
10:16 Oh!
10:16 - Over the shoulder.
10:19 Rain in all sorts of trouble here.
10:22 - Gut wrench, oh!
10:23 - Oh, on her feet.
10:25 Oh, what a far shot to the midsection.
10:28 Oh, and another one,
10:29 that would have just taken him right out of you.
10:30 - That has to feel good to be rain.
10:32 - But Artemis still in the reversal.
10:35 - Splashing the corner, she's going for another one.
10:43 She did not like that one, didn't get all of it.
10:45 Oh!
10:45 - Rain evades.
10:46 But you can see, you might mention earlier, Trim,
10:52 and she's favoring that arm
10:53 because she's had so many body parts
10:55 worked over the course of this match.
10:56 Artemis has been never letting her rest up,
10:59 never letting her retreat.
11:00 - Oh, what a kick!
11:01 Did you see that kick to the face?
11:02 - That was huge.
11:04 - Absolutely, I heard the leather smack off her cheek.
11:07 - Throw it into the ropes.
11:12 Oh, she takes rain with her.
11:14 - Oh, on the shoulders.
11:15 - Trying to get her out.
11:17 There you go, with a German suplex.
11:18 - Oh, suplex.
11:20 - Huge German suplex.
11:22 It has to cover at this point.
11:23 - Has to, she has to get this.
11:26 - Oh.
11:27 - And Artemis.
11:27 - Two, that must, 2.9, if anything.
11:31 - How much did they take out of rain
11:33 just to get that move in, though?
11:34 - Look at the frustration on her face.
11:36 That tells you everything you need to know.
11:38 And she's going for the, what's it called?
11:40 What's she called?
11:41 - She calls it Storm's End.
11:42 - Storm's End.
11:43 Can this end Artemis?
11:45 - She made it rain earlier, and then this is Storm's End.
11:48 If she can lock it in, which it's proven difficult.
11:51 - She's about to kick her off.
11:52 As she catches rain in her back.
11:54 - That is that.
11:55 - Across that back again.
11:56 - Back again.
11:56 (heavy metal music)
11:59 - I mean, she's a phony, she's a fake,
12:04 she's a sellout, but she has heart.
12:06 - Now something has to give.
12:11 - Oh.
12:12 - Oh, whoa, wait a minute.
12:14 Out of nowhere, what's rain doing?
12:16 - She's got it.
12:17 - She's trying to get Storm's End from here.
12:18 - It's the rain's end.
12:18 - She's got a moment, but she's been holding the rope.
12:19 - She's on the ropes.
12:21 Break it up, referee.
12:22 - She almost locked Storm's End in there, that was close.
12:25 - Much to the delight of Artemis.
12:27 - On the shoulders again.
12:32 - Artemis looking to put her all away.
12:35 Can she?
12:35 - Can she get her up?
12:36 - No, there's no extra step.
12:37 - Rain's fighting to get off.
12:40 - Oh.
12:41 - She plants her, that'll do it, she's got it.
12:43 - That's it, that's it.
12:45 - That is it.
12:45 - That might be all she broke.
12:47 - One, two, three.
12:49 Artemis.
12:50 - Artemis victorious.
12:52 - The winner of this match and the result of the pinfall,
12:59 Artemis.
13:00 - With an injured wrist, no less, takes away the victory.
13:07 - What fantastic match there in the women's division.
13:10 Commiserations to Rain Leverkusen, this close to winning.
13:13 However, congratulations to Mean Team's Artemis.
13:16 Can't help but think we're going to be seeing more of
13:18 Artemis over the coming weeks.
13:20 However, grapple fans, those in attendance in Canterbury
13:22 were treated to what some would say was a technical
13:25 spectacle when wrestling great Harry Sefton was challenged
13:29 by Orpington's own Jake O'Grady.
13:31 Let's go to ringside to see this instant classic.
13:34 - Making for a cavalry in Storm.
13:37 Please welcome Harry "Sefton" Orpington.
13:40 And yes, he is the changer, Jake O'Grady.
13:45 - And Ben Armstrong, as I was saying, Rob,
13:49 we know he's here today.
13:51 We'll be watching upon this match very closely.
13:53 - Absolutely, they've got a match later on in the year,
13:55 which they're both building to.
13:57 Obviously it's been a source of tremendous friction
13:59 and tension between them already.
14:01 - And here we go.
14:03 As I say, lock up here in the center of the ring.
14:06 And who's going to get the upper hand down here?
14:11 Sefton into the ropes and there we go.
14:12 You cannot turn your back on Sefton for one second.
14:16 Here he comes.
14:17 Oh, he teased him.
14:19 Well, okay.
14:21 Okay, see, just when you think Sefton's going to be,
14:25 you can call it with him, he might just surprise you.
14:29 - Grady grabs the arm.
14:32 (crowd cheering)
14:35 - As you say, he's a tricky customer, Harry Sefton.
14:37 You know, actually turning your back on him
14:38 might not always be the best move
14:40 because he might have something cooked up
14:41 ready to hit you.
14:42 - Absolutely, he has a very, very interesting style
14:45 to play as Sefton.
14:46 - Absolutely.
14:47 Plus he has a rather impressive submission hold
14:53 which he used on Jay Alexander at the Pentagon,
14:54 so just a few weeks ago, and that was, you know,
14:58 almost, it was a pretty quick submission from Jay Alexander.
15:01 - Jay Alexander, no pushover.
15:02 - Corner, wrong way back.
15:06 - He's got the flawed crucifix pin almost.
15:09 - Yeah.
15:10 - And Sefton into the corner.
15:12 - More than up to it.
15:14 - So about Sefton's arsenal of submission moves as well,
15:18 you've got to be careful if you're injured
15:21 or you're hurt during the match,
15:23 not to make it completely,
15:24 not to Harry Sefton.
15:25 He will target that injury and he will make it even worse.
15:28 - Absolutely.
15:29 - He is a gifted submission wrestler,
15:31 he's a chain wrestling specialist,
15:32 there's very few vectors by which you can relax
15:36 with Harry Sefton.
15:37 - Indeed.
15:38 - Thanks.
15:39 - And this is working on the arm,
15:40 as though Brady can roll this through.
15:42 - Oh, he's up.
15:43 - That's well into the cover here,
15:45 just gets him to count,
15:46 to count corners in the referee.
15:49 So Brady, that's gonna work with the body manipulation.
15:57 - Sefton not a fan of that manoeuvre there,
16:00 hear him audibly in discomfort.
16:02 But again, he's on the edge.
16:05 - Oh, he's up, took that recovery,
16:07 Brady just trying to get this match over and done with.
16:09 - Oh, he's caught in the rope.
16:10 - Sefton got hold of the ankle,
16:11 got hold of the foot, and twisted ankle.
16:14 - Brady not enjoying that very much at all.
16:17 - Ladies and gentlemen, watching at home,
16:20 might not look quite much,
16:21 but he is twisted and it is excruciatingly painful.
16:24 And now Brady was gonna try and go for his own,
16:26 but Sefton smartly grabs the bottom rope.
16:29 Referee has to break it.
16:31 - Yeah, Sefton with a lot of experience,
16:34 and no doubt if you're a submission specialist,
16:36 you know how to keep yourself out of one as well.
16:38 - Sefton all over him like a rash.
16:44 And there we go, just taunting him,
16:46 and a stamp on him as well.
16:48 - Just a good measure.
16:55 - Crowd not happy with Sefton's performance thus far.
16:58 - Oh, it gives him one of his own,
17:03 oh, and two stamps on him.
17:06 - Oh, catches him in the headlock.
17:08 - And now he's got that, almost like a cross face.
17:10 - Looking to protect his face there,
17:12 obviously wearing that protective mask.
17:14 - Harry Sefton's a handsome young man,
17:17 I'm sure he does it on his looks really.
17:20 - I wouldn't blame him in his position.
17:22 - That from Sefton, a bit unorthodox, but very clever.
17:25 - It's effective.
17:26 - Front face lock.
17:29 Now going to work on the arm again.
17:32 - Oh, going to work on that arm again.
17:34 - Roll him over, yes he is, and will this be enough?
17:41 No, not ready, it's one down.
17:43 - Now both of them trading short falls at the moment so far.
17:47 - We're almost at a stalemate at the moment,
17:49 neither guy has, neither wrestler has yet got a full hold
17:53 on this match, which is quite surprising,
17:57 because normally Sefton's more aggressive than this.
18:00 And I don't rule out that we will not see that
18:04 at some point, nice little headstands to take down there.
18:06 That was brilliant from O'Grady.
18:07 - And then Paul, it's a smart move,
18:09 pulling him away from the rope,
18:09 so it's hard for him to break the hold.
18:12 Oh, look at that.
18:13 - Sefton's not working out to breathe properly
18:14 in a situation like this.
18:15 - A lot of pressure being put on that chest.
18:17 - You think it is?
18:18 - Smart move from O'Grady, he's reaching for that rope,
18:21 he knows it'll break the hold.
18:23 - What is Sefton gonna do?
18:24 Sefton's not usually in this sort of predicament.
18:27 Oh, look at that get from O'Grady.
18:28 And it's almost like a shout of desperation from Sefton.
18:34 He doesn't know what to do.
18:35 Oh, he's rolled over.
18:37 - He's got a lot of strength to roll out of these holds.
18:41 - What athleticism there.
18:43 Oh, and Sefton manages to get out of there.
18:44 - Rolls through, O'Grady equal to the task.
18:47 Back into a headlock.
18:48 - Side headlock.
18:50 (players grunting)
18:53 - All right.
18:54 - Oops, Sefton, there's that look in his eye.
18:59 There we go.
19:01 Play time's over.
19:02 This is the thing, if you're gonna take it to Harry Sefton,
19:10 you need to make sure you put him away.
19:11 Because if you antagonize him,
19:13 if he starts getting frustrated,
19:14 that's the Harry Sefton you do not wanna be facing.
19:17 - That's true, we saw against Jay Alexander
19:19 how quickly that moment came.
19:21 The red mist must have descended
19:22 and he went brutally on that eye.
19:24 - I mean, for a moment there,
19:26 Sefton had that almost trademark cravat hold on O'Grady,
19:31 who broke free and is now working on Sefton's arm.
19:35 Oh, and he's not letting go.
19:40 Tried to send him into the ropes there,
19:44 but a vice-like grip on Sefton's arm.
19:47 And he's got it again.
19:49 - Same with you, Sefton, seems to have broken it.
19:51 O'Grady smartly just latches it back on.
19:55 Oh, look at that from Sefton.
19:57 Oh my goodness.
19:59 And he's still got it on O'Grady.
20:01 I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this.
20:05 - No, it's a lot of unorthodox maneuvers
20:07 and lots of unorthodox applications.
20:09 - He's still got it on, ladies and gentlemen.
20:12 And everything Sefton tries.
20:15 - He's got the answer for O'Grady.
20:18 - Trying to get the crowd here,
20:19 trying to get Harry Sefton to tap.
20:20 They want to be careful getting chance on
20:22 while he's in predicament.
20:23 He might take that as support.
20:24 - Oh, weirdly.
20:27 Oh, and he rolls through.
20:33 - Oh, looks like he's going for a cover.
20:33 - Oh no, he's going for the leg.
20:34 - Going for the leg.
20:35 Looking to work these limbs again.
20:37 - What's he doing?
20:39 - Tying him up like a passer.
20:41 - What is he doing here?
20:44 - That's unorthodox.
20:45 Sefton does seem to be tied in a knot.
20:49 - I don't even know what Sefton's doing.
20:51 I'm in shock.
21:02 - O'Grady here looking to...
21:04 I'm sure Harry Sefton would like to be...
21:07 He's definitely lining something up here.
21:09 - Oh!
21:10 - And a football punk kick to the barrier.
21:14 And Sefton will definitely be feeling that one for a while.
21:39 - Well, I am not sure.
21:41 - Yeah, O'Grady looking to try and do that
22:02 with a high knee there.
22:03 To the corner.
22:05 Looking for a monkey flip.
22:06 - Oh!
22:07 - Definitely done there by O'Grady.
22:08 That monkey flip now.
22:09 O'Grady's still had his opportunity here.
22:12 He's going for another one here.
22:13 And he does!
22:14 - Oh, flips him again.
22:15 - I've never seen Sefton toyed like this.
22:18 - No, he does seem to be at the mercy of...
22:20 - Oh, there we go.
22:21 - Oh, spoke too soon.
22:22 - No sleep frog.
22:25 Oh, and Sefton over again.
22:28 I don't know if Sefton's mind is fully in this match.
22:33 I don't know whether his mind is elsewhere with Rex Armstrong.
22:35 - Well, Rex Armstrong's here.
22:37 And he's wrestling later on tonight.
22:38 - It's incredible how athletic he is
22:49 to stay in that position for so long.
22:51 Sefton, he's not happy about this.
22:57 - O'Grady looking for...
23:05 - Oh, it's a one-on-one.
23:07 - It's a close two.
23:11 - O'Grady just can't quite close the door on Harry Sefton for right now.
23:20 Sefton just resilient enough to stick in the game.
23:23 - Oh, out to the outside.
23:27 - Oh, there's a foot thrust.
23:33 - That is going to hurt.
23:34 - You know, that is not... that is proper fear.
23:43 - This is exactly what we've...
23:45 This is where he's at his most dangerous, Harry Sefton.
23:49 - Oh, close two.
24:06 Sefton looks to be getting visibly annoyed here.
24:10 - And rightly so as well, because O'Grady has joined with him in ways that he's not been at before.
24:16 There's that face plant into that...
24:18 - Into a Russian leg sweep.
24:20 - It's like a Russian leg sweep roll through.
24:22 - Oh, and he's not trying to submission manoeuvre.
24:24 - Cobra clutch, try and move, manoeuvre, hold.
24:27 - O'Grady already flagging.
24:29 - Oh, there we go.
24:30 - This is putting a lot of pressure on that already injured throat.
24:32 - Oh, tap.
24:33 - Oh, what an impressive submission victory there.
24:39 - Morning of the Slam, and moving on to the submission, Harry Sefton!
24:45 - Impressive.
24:53 - Harry Sefton picking up the submission win.
24:59 What an instant classic we had there, Grapple fans.
25:02 But moving on to another rival of Harry Sefton,
25:05 it's now Rex Armstrong taking on the Last True Superstar, Stuart Shepard.
25:10 However, Grapple fans, I don't think it's a spoiler if I were to say the phrase,
25:14 Harry Sefton is still in the building.
25:17 Probably going to see him, aren't we?
25:19 Let's go to ringside.
25:21 - Introducing first, from Kensington, West London,
25:24 he is the Last True Superstar, Stuart Shepard.
25:29 Please welcome, Tyron Soares, Rex Armstrong!
25:35 - Are you ready?
25:36 - Yeah!
25:37 - Are you ready?
25:38 - Yeah!
25:39 - Oh, wait a minute.
25:42 Wait a minute, what's this?
25:44 - You don't know this, do you?
25:47 - Oh, of course. Wait a minute.
25:49 - I don't want him here any more than you do, Rex. Sorry.
25:53 - What's this going on here?
25:56 - Harry Sefton, he's had a big slam.
25:58 - He doesn't want to wait until later in the year, he wants to do this right now.
26:01 - Rex Armstrong, as we know, is not allowed to put his hand...
26:05 I think we might be coming... Oh, he might be joining us.
26:09 - What if we do? I mean, you'll see.
26:11 Are you sure? We've got enough microphones to go around.
26:13 - I think...
26:14 - No?
26:15 - Oh, I think you'll be dismissed, Rob.
26:19 Yes!
26:22 Bye, Rob!
26:23 Bye!
26:25 Bye!
26:26 Bye!
26:27 Well, Harry Sefton, ladies and gentlemen, is joining us.
26:30 Harry, first of all, welcome. Second of all, thank you very much.
26:33 You've just saved me for the rest of this afternoon.
26:36 I think it goes without further ado...
26:40 I think we can assume why you're out here.
26:43 - I'm just out here to watch some wrestling.
26:46 - Yeah, and rightly not.
26:47 - If you hate Harry Sefton, clap your hands!
26:50 - What?
26:51 - If you hate Harry Sefton, hate Harry Sefton, hate Harry Sefton, clap your hands!
26:57 - Are you trying to start my fight?
26:58 - I didn't clap my hands.
26:59 Nobody said we'd do it.
27:00 Well, as we know, Rex Armstrong, he can't put his arm...
27:11 - UKW faithful, being the sheep they are, chatting along for this Muppet.
27:14 See if his hands go as fast as his mouth, as Stuart Shepard, already establishing control.
27:21 Very well done, wrist lock.
27:22 - Already covered the fact that Stuart Shepard is a master in all various styles of wrestling.
27:28 - Reminds me of someone I know.
27:30 - Side headlock by Armstrong.
27:34 Takes him down to the canvas.
27:37 As we know, Rex Armstrong, as we know, cannot touch him.
27:41 - No, he cannot. Stuart Shepard can, and he already proved that, you know, he's one step ahead.
27:46 Nice head scissors there.
27:48 - Armstrong trying to find a way out of these head scissors as Stuart Shepard's gone locked on, almost like a vice-like grip.
27:56 - Rex feeling off the energy of his fans.
28:01 - What's he doing here?
28:02 - Well, give that to Rex, that was pretty nifty.
28:06 - Cover out of nowhere.
28:08 There's that waist lock.
28:10 Shepard, as I said.
28:13 - You know, Rex Armstrong likes to say all these nasty things about me, but I would never say he's a bad wrestler.
28:17 He knows what he's doing.
28:18 - I don't think you've ever said anything derogatory like that about Rex Armstrong.
28:21 - I've just told the truth, to be honest.
28:23 You know, at the end of the day, I'm the reason why Rex Armstrong is as successful as he is in UKPW.
28:28 - I mean, nobody can ignore the fact that you were very successful when teaming with Rex Armstrong.
28:34 - It was 11 months ago.
28:36 Got a call in the group chat, JJ and Inch couldn't make it.
28:39 Harry, can you step in? Yes.
28:41 - Lordswood.
28:42 - From there on, yeah, I was his partner.
28:44 Beat BDSM for him. Didn't like the way I did it.
28:48 - A win's a win.
28:49 - Win's a win, yeah.
28:51 And of course, size now.
28:53 - Oh, what a throw!
28:54 - Take a make when it matters.
28:55 - Side out, Jocken.
28:59 - Stuart Sheppard deciding that, you know, he's just going to remind Rex Armstrong of his place.
29:04 - Shots to make six of them.
29:10 - Might want to watch those shots, referee.
29:12 - Sheppard into the ropes.
29:14 Shoulder block.
29:15 Need a man moving.
29:17 - He is a unit, Rex, I'll give him that.
29:21 - Come on, come on, JJ, come on!
29:23 - Stuart Sheppard, a big man in his own right.
29:29 Rex Armstrong seems to have the energy of Canterbury keeping him up.
29:35 I wonder if it will last.
29:37 - We'll see.
29:40 - Oh, there you go, there you go. That's how you get a man like that.
29:46 - Oh, but Rex Armstrong!
29:49 - Momentum was on Rex's side right there.
29:52 Stuart Sheppard had a game plan, but Rex was one step ahead on that one, I'll give him that.
29:56 - Oh, but I spoke too soon.
29:58 - Dropped there too early, maybe looking for that back body drop, but brilliant from Stuart Sheppard.
30:03 - Classic commentator's curse, I am guilty of, right there.
30:06 Stuart Sheppard, back of controller, oh, Rex.
30:09 And these fans feeding Rex Armstrong, because let's be honest, that's the only way he can win.
30:16 - And now Armstrong was signed, had luck on his own.
30:19 - Can't get anything done on his own.
30:21 - This time, sending Sheppard down.
30:25 Oh, he caught him!
30:29 - Caught him like a sack of spuds.
30:31 - Big scoop, oh, it's a power slam!
30:33 Oh, and a two count there! So close to a marathon.
30:37 - Maybe instead of going to these fans, Rex, you should just pick him up and finish him.
30:45 - Oh, wow, what power, what strength from Rex Armstrong here.
30:55 Oh, my goodness!
30:59 - Could have gone for the full minute, but decided against it.
31:04 - And Armstrong, now finding, oh, again, commentator's curse, there we go, over.
31:14 - Look at that.
31:16 - A nice move, nice move there from Stuart Sheppard.
31:20 - Oh, my goodness, I mean, I'm shoulder first.
31:25 - Oh, that reminds me of someone I know, working on the shoulder, breaking him down.
31:32 Stuart Sheppard obviously been studying certain someone's tapes.
31:36 - Indeed, he may just have been doing that.
31:41 - Oh, again, a certain somebody who after tonight is still undefeated in UKVW, sir.
31:46 I'd have a word with UKVW about that, I think, you know, Danny Black, Alexander Roth, fighting champions, we'll see.
31:58 Maybe you should stay down for this one, Rex.
32:09 Could have dislocated a shoulder on that one, he might want to live to fight another day.
32:13 Just live to fight another day, Rex. It's not worth it, sunshine.
32:21 But there it is, there's that doggy determination.
32:27 - Absolutely pounced on him, Stuart Sheppard.
32:30 Oh, my God! Wow!
32:38 - We need some quality control here, Stuart Sheppard's UKVW, two bloody world actors. I'm just going to say it.
32:43 - Working on that arm, that left arm and shoulder.
32:47 - I do jest slightly, I know Stuart Sheppard has been around for a while.
32:50 And he is an accomplished technician, much like myself.
32:53 And he's proving like I would that you can have all the speed, all the power, all the explosiveness you want,
32:59 but when you get a man's arm, you get a man's leg, you get his head, you're in control, there's nothing you can do.
33:06 - Absolutely. And as a submission, I would say a submission specialist such as yourself,
33:11 I'm sure you can appreciate the manipulation and the damage on that targeted left arm.
33:17 - I appreciate all of that, but I also appreciate the aggressiveness.
33:22 I appreciate the tenacity.
33:25 Just like that, he's just thrown his arm straight into the man, taken him down.
33:29 And look, Rex gives him a bit of attitude, he gives it right back.
33:35 There's a contest, Mr. Cross.
33:37 A lot of people think sometimes it's maybe a bit of a dance thing,
33:40 "Okay, I'll give you something and then maybe try and take it from me."
33:43 No, I'm going to take your arm and you're going to have to fight like hell to take it from me.
33:47 That's what me and Stuart Sheppard have in common.
33:50 And Rex Armstrong is finding out the hard way.
33:53 And if anything, this is a preview of what our match is going to be like when it happens down the line.
33:57 - If Rex Armstrong even makes it.
34:02 If he even makes it, I mean, your words, not mine.
34:05 - I'm looking at what's going on in the ring at the moment, and the way that Stuart Sheppard is dishing out the punishment, who knows?
34:10 - Oh, come now, Mr. Cross. You're selling Rex a bit short there, I think.
34:13 - I'm not selling him a bit short. He seems to be...
34:16 - Look at him right now.
34:18 - ...trying, and there, that's exactly what I mean.
34:21 He's over in that left arm of his.
34:23 - Oh, what's he got there?
34:27 A overhead wrist lock, very nice.
34:31 - This is going to do no favours at all.
34:35 - Almost key locking the arm there, I love it.
34:38 Master of his craft, Stuart Sheppard.
34:44 Once again, Rex going to the easy option, the claps, the cheers, the applause of all these people out here who are just like him.
34:56 You know, just like the late, great, well, in their eyes, J.J. Lynch.
35:00 Late as in, he is retired, everyone, just to make that safe. He is very much alive.
35:06 - Well, we've yet to hear official confirmation, but...
35:09 - He's retired. I broke his... I apparently broke his leg when in reality I didn't really, I just broke his spirit.
35:17 - Well, look at this, from Armstrong, powering out.
35:21 And Sheppard...
35:25 - Oh, the spear hits him!
35:26 - Sheppard, you left yourself way, way open there, I wouldn't have done that.
35:30 - Armstrong is in so much pain because of that left arm.
35:33 - Can't capitalise.
35:35 Sheppard left himself open, but he has done the damage.
35:38 He hit the spear on Sheppard, I think Sheppard's the first to get to his feet, maybe. No!
35:47 - Oh, the stripes are coming down.
35:50 - The stripes are coming down, apparently that means he's going to get mad.
35:54 - Sheppard to his feet, race!
35:55 - He might want to get out of the ring.
36:02 I felt that in my feet over here, Mr Kross.
36:08 - Oh, the two count there.
36:10 - Almost sent him through the mat.
36:12 - Clothesline.
36:22 - Oh, he can't.
36:23 - No, he can't.
36:25 Maybe instead of giving the fans what they want, he should be just trying to win for himself.
36:29 - Face first into the top turnbuckle.
36:31 And there it is, the second.
36:33 Maybe it's the third.
36:35 - He's leaving himself way too open here.
36:42 - And again, face first into the turnbuckle.
36:46 - Sheppard may be paying possum.
36:48 - Well, he's not.
36:50 - Possum.
36:51 Oh no, he's going for it.
36:52 - One arm.
36:54 - Going for the stampede.
36:58 - And he hits it, but wait!
37:00 The referee hasn't noticed.
37:02 I think his leg's on the rope, I want to go and check that.
37:04 - What, Harry, what are you doing?
37:08 - Harry Sheppard is at ringside.
37:14 - Harry, Harry, Harry!
37:15 - Get down, get down!
37:17 - Get off the ring!
37:19 - Get off the ring!
37:21 - Wait a minute, it's not a package.
37:28 - Oh, Sheppard!
37:33 - Out of nowhere!
37:36 - Stuart Sheppard with the upset victory over Rex Armstrong!
37:44 I can't believe it, Mr Cross!
37:45 - The Us Crew Superstar, Stuart Sheppard!
37:49 - Grapple fans, I have no words to describe the hatred between Rex Armstrong and Harry Sefton.
37:57 I'm sure they're going to come to a collision at some point soon, Grapple fans.
38:01 We will keep you posted.
38:03 But right now, it is time for our main event.
38:06 When the Interregional Champion, the Kid Without Fear, Danny Black,
38:11 defends his Interregional Championship against the Intergalactic Stylies of Truman Roswell.
38:16 Let's take you to ringside.
38:18 - Introducing first, hailing from off the grid,
38:22 please welcome Truman Roswell, Interregional Champion.
38:28 Please welcome, the Kid Without Fear, Danny Black!
38:36 - And the bell rings, the match is officially underway, as I am being joined on commentary
38:42 by our ring announcer for today, Mr Rob Wade. Welcome, Rob.
38:46 - Hello, sir. How are you doing?
38:47 - I'm very well, thank you. Danny Black and Truman Roswell locking up here as they...
38:52 - One, two, three, and four!
38:56 - Absolutely, and these are two phenomenal competitors who we know have the endurance.
39:01 I mean, Danny Black has defended his title four times in as many weeks.
39:05 - Absolutely. Three days in a row recently as well, and all successful.
39:12 Danny Black has only suffered two pinfalls in his career at UKPW so far,
39:18 on his debut against Joe Lando, that was before he won the Interregional Championship,
39:22 and recently he has a three-way match by Sapphire Reed.
39:27 - That's right, at the Pentagon Centre in Chatham.
39:29 - Absolutely, and Danny Black has corrected those issues, so to speak.
39:34 Look at his agility here from Danny Black, look at this!
39:37 - He's almost playing with Roswell.
39:39 - Roswell down, and no doubt Roswell will think that kind of manoeuvre from Danny Black
39:45 was a conspiracy, but here we'll go.
39:47 - He must have built up a heck of momentum with all those repeat jumps.
39:50 - Indeed they do, as they lock up again. Danny Black has progressed one slot,
39:56 and Roswell manages to get out of it, picking up that wrist, and now working on the arm.
40:02 Nice little step-over into a lovely arm drag, and Truman Roswell wants some recognition for that,
40:10 but the people in Canterbury are not going to give it to him, Rob.
40:13 - Danny was already up and ready to hit the arm bar, the arm drag.
40:18 - Danny Black with one of his own, onto the apron now.
40:21 - Down to his feet, oh!
40:23 - A little kick there, to highlight the arm.
40:27 - Oh, Hurricane Rana.
40:30 - Nice little springboard, another arm drag.
40:33 - And a beautiful standing drop kick there from Danny Black.
40:37 - So much momentum in those arm drags.
40:39 - Absolutely, both men individually, as well as collectively, they are human highlight moves.
40:43 - Roswell on the outside, and Danny Black...
40:47 - Looking to take it to him. Not going to give him a moment to rest.
40:51 - ...elbow to the back of the neck.
40:54 - Nice European uppercut there.
40:58 - Remember, if there's a count out, the champion will not lose the title,
41:03 the title will not change hands on a count out.
41:06 - Indeed, the only way it's going to change hands is by pinfall as a mission in a title match,
41:10 unless otherwise specified.
41:11 - Absolutely, Danny Black.
41:14 - In the second...
41:15 - ...going for that cutter, but Roswell scouts the...
41:18 - Oh!
41:19 - ...but a beautiful reverse inverted suplex.
41:22 - Caught himself hard there.
41:24 - Danny Black...
41:25 - Two count.
41:26 - Full impact to that on the face.
41:28 - Yeah, he looks to be nursing the chin there, and the lower jaw.
41:33 - Roswell straight into capitalizing on that.
41:36 - Smart guy.
41:38 - Indeed, it is smart from him there.
41:41 - Roswell looking for an opportunity, and he seems to be taking advantage of that.
41:46 - Look, Danny Black's in some sort of discomfort here.
41:49 - You see him just banging his fist on the canvas there.
41:53 - Now he tries to fight back.
41:56 - Nice forearm shot there from Danny Black.
41:59 - That's a great accountability.
42:01 - Trying to give him some amazing close fight there from Truman Roswell.
42:04 - That won't help. He's already nursing that facial area.
42:07 - Two count.
42:09 - The two count, yeah. He's definitely favoring that jaw.
42:13 - And Roswell driving the boot into that jaw that seems to be injured.
42:21 - Injured.
42:24 - You're going to see a nice deep crouch.
42:26 - Very well executed there.
42:28 - Beautiful impact.
42:31 - Another two count.
42:34 - He's been one second away from winning the title multiple times here.
42:38 - He has, and I mean this is the thing, despite the encouragement from these people in Canterbury,
42:42 Danny Black really seems to be struggling in the early going for this match.
42:46 - Yeah, he does seem to have started with a little less momentum than Roswell here.
42:51 - Danny Black, as we know, very resilient performer.
42:57 - We'll test him where he ducks underneath that close line.
43:00 - Oh!
43:01 - Reverse elbow!
43:02 - Another hit to that lower jaw.
43:04 - Indeed!
43:05 - Another two.
43:08 - You've got to wonder how much more Danny Black can take with those impact hits to the jaw.
43:14 - Yeah, he really is.
43:15 - And all it would take is a well applied submission move at that point, and he's going to be in a world of hurt.
43:22 - Big scoop slam, Roswell.
43:24 - Looking to go up top, I think.
43:25 - This is part where Roswell is at his most dangerous.
43:30 - Going up top, as the boos echo the Northgate community centre in Canterbury.
43:36 - Goes for a moonsault!
43:37 - Oh!
43:38 - Oh my goodness!
43:39 - Takes some damage to the jaw of his own.
43:41 - And here's the opening Danny Black was looking for.
43:43 - Oh!
43:45 - Danny Black building some momentum now, wants to get the crowd behind him, that feeds off that energy.
43:50 - Beautiful for a front flip heel kick.
43:54 - Making Rika Roswell down.
43:59 - Fellow Black.
44:00 - Oh, look at that!
44:02 - Such agility.
44:03 - Boots on the face!
44:06 - Going to the opposite corner here, looking to hit a corner move.
44:09 - Nice.
44:10 - Nice running European hammer.
44:12 - Coming in.
44:13 - Going for another maybe, no he goes for the kick.
44:16 - Oh, the reverser from Roswell.
44:18 - And look at that again from Danny Black, over to Evanson, over to Bridger!
44:23 - Bridger's in.
44:24 - Oh!
44:25 - Oh, close, two.
44:26 - Only a two count.
44:29 - That was Danny's first fall of the match, it's probably the closest we've seen to a match being entered.
44:33 - Absolutely.
44:35 - Certainly to Danny retaining his championship.
44:40 - Danny Black.
44:45 - Roswell catches him.
44:46 - Oh, across the back there.
44:50 - Oh, another shot to the back.
44:55 - Oh, close, two.
44:56 - Wow, impressive stuff from both men.
45:05 - Danny Black picking up on the crowd's chants there, trying to get some channeling, trying to channel some of that energy into some momentum.
45:17 - The thing is, I think in Roswell's mind, he thinks these claps are for him, but nice reverser there from Danny Black, rolls him over.
45:26 - And a close two.
45:30 - Great back and forth action.
45:32 - Oh, but that time Roswell managed to...
45:37 - Oh, Black jumps the baseball slides.
45:40 - Oh, Danny moves off the apron.
45:42 - Oh, Danny lands on his feet.
45:44 - Roswell didn't see it.
45:45 - Oh, brutal kick to the face there.
45:48 - Danny looking to recuperate.
45:51 - Oh, he's going for the springboard, moves off the tip.
45:53 - Oh, goodness me.
45:54 - Oh my goodness, into the front row.
45:56 - Into the front row.
45:57 - Lucky he didn't catch a member of the crowd there.
45:59 - That is unbelievable. We see something very similar at Tables, Ladders and Stairs.
46:05 - Which is, of course, the last time they had a high profile engagement of their own.
46:09 - Together they did, yeah.
46:10 - Absolutely.
46:11 - Last time these two clashed in the ring.
46:16 - And that will definitely take it out of Danny Black.
46:18 - And Roswell's going to be looking to finish him off here.
46:21 - Oh.
46:22 - Falcon arrow.
46:24 - Oh, the closest fall we've had so far.
46:26 - Oh my goodness.
46:27 - Within an inch, within an inch of a new regional champion, Rob.
46:33 - I can't believe how close that was.
46:36 - I'm still processing it.
46:38 - I look at the welts across the back shoulder blade, the left shoulder blade of Truman Roswell.
46:44 - They've both given each other as good as they've got there.
46:48 - Looking to finish him this time. Oh, Danny Black.
46:51 - That was a three.
46:53 - Oh, and a three.
46:54 - Almost stole one.
46:56 - Stole by Bin Siguri.
47:00 - It's the second rope.
47:01 - Oh, gets it on the counter. Beautiful.
47:06 - He's got it.
47:08 - Danny Black retains his title.
47:15 - The winner of this contest is the London Pit Bull.
47:19 - And still UKPW Interregional Champion, the Pit Bull of the Year, Danny Black.
