"Kawaida" is the first album as leader by American jazz drummer Albert Heath, released under the pseudonym Toudie Heath-Kuumba. Afrocentric spiritual jazz feeling that constantly balances between regular bop and slightly free jazz. The songs are often introduced with percussion and piano.
