00:02 So what better place to start then,
00:04 who is going to lead the league
00:06 with the most touchdown passes?
00:08 Now we know the normal cast of characters here
00:11 from the "Fanville Sportsbook."
00:12 Patrick Mahomes a plus 300,
00:14 Josh Allen at a five to one,
00:15 Justin Herbert at a plus 550,
00:17 Kirk Cousins 11 to one,
00:18 Aaron Rodgers 12 to one,
00:20 and so on and so forth.
00:21 Is it just so easy?
00:23 Because I always equate this, Joe,
00:24 to when, you know, you're making a bet
00:26 on a regular season football game
00:28 and you go, "Now, hold on now.
00:29 "The Chiefs are getting a point and a half."
00:31 You almost don't care where they play,
00:32 who they play, as long as Patrick Mahomes is healthy,
00:36 it's hard to bet against the Kansas City Chiefs.
00:38 The reason I bring that up once again,
00:40 Patrick Mahomes is the favorite here
00:42 to lead the NFL this season in touchdown passes.
00:44 Number one, do you agree with that?
00:46 And number two, is there anybody
00:48 you're eyeing up in this market?
00:49 - Well, you know, it's interesting.
00:52 At this point in the game, you know,
00:55 if it ain't broke, don't fix it, Donny, right?
00:57 We know that that list there with Mahomes up at the top,
01:01 but of course, right?
01:03 They're not getting any younger,
01:04 that core group in Kansas City,
01:06 but we're not at that particular point yet.
01:09 What we are at a point is going,
01:11 "Listen, how many more times do we have to see Mahomes,
01:15 "Andy Reid, Kelsey, and the rest of the K?
01:18 "How many more times do we have to watch them,
01:20 "you know, throw over 5,000 yards,
01:22 "light you up the entire season?"
01:24 And then we're going, "I can't believe I didn't bet them
01:26 "to go over any of these before the season started."
01:30 The interesting question is the other guys on that list,
01:35 which one of those, Donny, let me ask you,
01:37 which one of those quarterbacks on those teams
01:39 has the best running game, has the best defense?
01:43 Because if we deconstruct it,
01:45 which team is going to be running the ball more
01:48 because they're up in the second half?
01:50 Which defense is gonna make it the ability for them
01:54 to be able to score way more points than their opponents?
01:57 So there are some other factors into here,
02:00 but I would say Aaron Rodgers, Mahomes,
02:03 and maybe even the Chargers and Justin Herbert,
02:06 simply for the fact that they are not going to have a choice
02:10 'cause the defense is bad.
02:12 It's gonna continue to be bad,
02:14 and they're gonna have to throw the ball an awful lot
02:17 in order to be able to win games.
