Free school meals cut for summer holidays

With only a week or so left of the summer term, the welsh government last week announced that free school meals will not be provided throughout the summer holidays. Figures show up to 50,000 children rely on these provisions, so politicians at the Senedd question the decision from the Welsh government, who say there simply isn’t the money for it.
