SA opposition, crossbench call for inquiry into university merger deal

After years of debate and false starts, the University of Adelaide and UniSA have agreed to merge in a $444 million move which will create one of Australia’s largest tertiary institutions. As the proposal heads to parliament, there are calls for an inquiry to look into the costs and risks of a merger.
