00:00 Sunday the 18th of June 2023, members of the lower house of parliament have intensified
00:23 work in session questioning government officials studying bills and validating them for ratification.
00:31 The National Communication Council under its president Joseph Chebonken Kalabutu launches
00:41 an all-out fight against the promotion of homosexual practices in the country through
00:47 foreign TV channels, a move saluted by traditional rulers and juries. Plus, Cameroonian-born Pina
00:55 Humphrey alias Buffalo beats Nigerian opponent Okolo Hapi alias Mighty Man in wrestling combat
01:03 in Yaounde to emerge as the first Cameroonian heavyweight champion in Africa. Those are our
01:09 top stories. I am Benin Bumagana. This is the 730 News. Let's get to parliament to begin. The bill
01:19 to authorize the president of the republic to ratify the defense cooperation agreement between
01:25 the government of Cameroon and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria signed in 2022
01:31 has been examined by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly. The bill was defended
01:36 this afternoon by the minister delegating charge of defense Joseph Betis Asumo assisted by external
01:42 relations minister Mbela Mbela. Esther Kimo has the details. A defense and cooperation agreement
01:49 between the Republic of Cameroon and Algeria to strengthen bilateral ties based on trust
01:56 and the availability to exchange expertise in the field of military capacity, the minister
02:01 delegated the president of the republic in charge of defense Joseph Betis Asumo expounded on the
02:08 accord concluded for a period of 10 years. Renewable by tacit agreements for an additional year,
02:15 the legal undertaking is intended to counter terrorism, the procurement of military equipment
02:21 and armaments as well as maintenance and repair. Prior to formalizing the cooperation framework
02:28 which external relations minister Mbela Mbela affirms comes to foster training already offered
02:33 to over 100 Cameroonians in the military domain, the accord provides for the maintenance of
02:39 contracts between the ministries in charge of defense in Cameroon and Algeria. The reservations
02:45 made on the bill by the committee on foreign affairs led by Honorable Emmanuel Mbangni will
02:51 be presented before the house and plenary for general debates before its endorsement for
02:56 ratification by the president of the republic his excellency Paul Bia who's been engaged in laying
03:02 the foundation for a diversified cooperation with the people's democratic republic of Algeria.
03:08 The national communication council is stepping up the fight against the promotion
03:14 of homosexual practices in Cameroon. In a recent statement signed by the president George Mbengke
03:20 Nkala Boutso, the NCC is calling on distributors of foreign television channels to stop the
03:26 proliferation of programs that are detrimental to social order or face sanctions. Tonina Nyungo
03:32 comes back to the NCC's press release condemning the proliferation of homosexual practices on the
03:37 media. Generally from foreign channels the programs with homosexual scenes are featured more and more
03:46 in cartoons meant for children and minors. This is the observation made by the national communication
03:52 council which in a recent press release drew the attention of satellite and cable tv channel
03:59 distributors to such content which is detrimental to social order. We found out that it was increasingly
04:08 being promoted on the media we had to make a statement which falls squarely within the
04:16 competence of the national communication council. How we intend to enforce this remains more of a
04:24 secret to the national communication council because we are determined. As stated in the
04:29 press release that underlines articles three and four of the decree of january 2012 reorganizing
04:37 the national communication council it is working within its mission to ensure the respect of the
04:43 freedom of mass communication in accordance with the constitution as well as the protection of the
04:49 dignity of persons particularly of children and youths. We can suspend the media outlet
04:56 according to the law from one month to six months or suspend its broadcast or its presence in cameroon.
05:07 Promoters of broadcasting channels are therefore called to work within professional ethics and
05:14 in line with the laws of the country. Traditional rulers, juries and anthropologists in the country
05:21 have commended the national communication council for recently castigating the population of the
05:27 proliferation of homosexuality on some media channels. They say it is a salutary move that
05:33 falls within the ambit of the cameroon penal code. Gilbert Ongene edited the reactions in this report.
05:39 The recent outing of the national communication council of cameroon against acts of homosexuality
05:52 on some foreign and national media outfits is seen by legal luminaries and traditional authorities
05:59 as a move in the right direction. The national communication council coming out against the
06:05 propagation of homosexuality is welcome because our society does not tolerate homosexuality. Let
06:12 american europeans mind their own business because we have our own challenges. They however
06:21 recognized the fact that the national communication council could be powerless in the face of content
06:28 being broadcast through satellite and the internet by media houses based abroad. To have universal
06:35 media, media that broadcast to the world, it is difficult to control its contents. The penal code
06:41 of cameroon is unequivocal in its condemnation of homosexuality and other deviant sexual behaviors.
06:49 Section 3171 of the penal code punishes homosexuality and it says whoever has sexual
06:56 relationship with a person of the same sex shall be punished with imprisonment for from six months
07:01 to five years and a fine from twenty thousand francs to two hundred thousand francs. The national
07:07 communication council outing is within their powers. Anything that is happening is an act of
07:17 incivility. Parents, educationists, religious and traditional leaders have the duty to educate
07:24 children and young stars to be careful about what content they watch on television.
07:30 Let's flip open another chapter. Government has reiterated its determination to fight
07:37 femicide in Cameroon from the observation that cases of woman slaughter are on the rise.
07:43 Speaking to journalists in yon, the women's empowerment minister Marie-Theresa Bena-Ondo
07:48 indicated that about 30 cases of brutal killings of women have been recorded since January 2023.
07:55 Hence, they need to stop the femicide. Beatrice Ngum says more. The killing of a woman because
08:02 of the agenda is what government is decrying at this press briefing. Since January 2023,
08:09 inhumane acts against women and gruesome murder of women in families and in the community are
08:17 alarming. The situation is serious and worrisome. About 30 women and girls have been murdered
08:25 in cold blood. The most despicable case was that of Vanessa Yubi, murdered by her boyfriend. Horror
08:33 on girls and women that government says can't go unpunished. The perpetrators of femicide should
08:40 know that they are liable to penalties laid down by our country's laws and regulations. While
08:49 government intensifies efforts to stop femicide, moves to reinforce the structure of the family
08:55 are well on course. Continue to implement family and marital life education programs, as well as
09:03 the positive parenting program. Accelerate the implementation of the national strategy to combat
09:10 gender-based violence. Intensify the denunciation of perpetrators. The ball has been set rolling.
09:17 Perpetrators and sympathizers of all forms of barbaric acts of woman slaughter and gender-based
09:23 violence must refrain or face the law. National community-driven development project PNDP
09:32 continues to wage a climate battle for the people of Matamin Kuseri who have lost lives and property
09:38 to merciless floods annually. PNDP is championing the construction of a 1.2 kilometer dike
09:45 to better the lives of the people as you tell us.
09:48 A flood-proof system comes to the rescue of families of the flood-prone locality of Matam,
09:58 west of Kuseri, where the river Sebel overflowed its banks, putting habitations underwater only
10:05 last year. The bitter memories are still fresh. In 2022, we witnessed the worst floods in the last
10:14 40 years. Lives were lost, houses and farmland destroyed. Matam's 15,000 inhabitants could do
10:24 with this help from the national community-driven development program PNDP to prevent the flow of
10:30 floodwaters landward, waiving off future threats. The construction of a 1.2 kilometer dike will
10:37 surely change their story for the better. The entire village is applauding our contribution
10:44 in the construction process of this dike to help stop the floods. We suffered a lot last year.
10:50 The money I make from here has helped me to acquire bags of fertilizer and a crop
10:57 sprayer to kick-start my rice farm. The dike helps build resilience in Matam, where annual
11:04 floods kill people, rendering others homeless and depriving some of their property and livestock.
11:11 Elites of Kupemwa Nunguba, that is in the southwest region, have carried out a sensitization
11:18 campaign to underline the importance of peace and harmonious living. The tour this weekend
11:25 was under the leadership of the Minister Deputy Secretary General of the Presidency Elom Polche.
11:31 The peace crusade by the Minister Assistant Secretary General at the Presidency of the
11:39 Republic Elom Polche, expected to be organized in the three subdivisions in Kupemwa Nunguba
11:45 Division, was launched in Tambel. Life has come back to normal and we think it is time
11:51 to reconnect with the base to get a feeling, a touch, how they are living. A cross-section of
11:58 the population of the cosmopolitan town of Tambel, including traditional rulers, politicians,
12:03 commercial motorcycle riders and the Muslim community among others, were receiving audience
12:09 by the Minister. Before 20th May we had a small incident that one of our military officers was
12:17 killed and he has been disturbing us in Tambel and so he came and to encourage us and to tell us that
12:25 we are supposed to act like gendarmes. He can in his own way to give a touch so that
12:33 all the chiefs of Tambel, Ubunji and Bulutu are put in place. The message of peace, harmonious
12:42 living together and unity was re-echoed. Making sure that they live in cohesion, avoid hate speech
12:50 and then communion. Also make sure that we can sustain this the peace that reigns in Kupemwa
12:57 Nunguba now. Minister Elom Polche also challenged law enforcement officials, the defense forces and
13:04 administrative authorities to enforce security measures in order for the town of Tambel to fully
13:10 return to the once flourishing municipality. Over 100 secondary school students have graduated
13:18 to higher cycles from Lai Giti International School Complex here in Dyaunde. During the
13:23 graduation ceremony some staff of the school were awarded labor medals for their hard work
13:29 throughout the school's 27 years of existence. We will get to that story but come with me
13:35 to the National Commission for Bilingualism where some officials have received medals for the hard
13:40 work they have been putting in since the creation of the commission. Let's get details from Clovis
13:45 Bowie. They have been tried and tested and have proven to be worthy of professional confidence.
13:52 These men and women in start to serve at the National Commission for the Promotion of
13:57 Bilingualism and Multiculturalism are now ready to act in their respective functions.
14:02 It's an enormous challenge. The missions assigned are quite huge. The population is expecting a lot.
14:09 The head of state is expecting a lot. It calls for harder work because we've been working hard already.
14:16 While commissioning into office the new officials on behalf of the national president,
14:20 the secretary general exalted the new appointees to live up to expectations. I gave them
14:27 the orientation that they will follow in the future discharge of their functions.
14:32 Timeliness, promptitude
14:38 and performance. Concerning the regional services they have to be
14:46 an appropriate relay of the central services at the regional level. To whom much is given
14:55 much more is expected. That is to say duty has been conferred on these men and women.
15:01 Now great output is awaited. Over in the northwest region the public independent conciliator Simon
15:09 Tamfu Faye has noted with dissatisfaction that some municipal authorities in the region
15:14 are managing councils like a one-man business sidelining the population from key decision-making
15:19 process. Simon Tamfu Faye has started a tour of all the divisional headquarters in the region.
15:25 He also intends to create branches of the public independent conciliator's office
15:30 to tackle rising conflicts. Kilo Valerie Sala reports from Bamenda.
15:35 The office of the northwest public independent conciliator in a 2022 survey observed that most
15:45 municipal authorities in the region embark on council projects without consulting the population
15:52 for their needs assessment. During his first ever outing out of Bamenda since appointed more than
15:58 two years ago the region's PIC frowns at decentralization of power by councils in an
16:05 era of decentralization. We surveyed quite a number of councils last year and one of the
16:12 selling point that came out was that most of the councils in the northwest were managed like
16:18 one-man business. Municipal officials in WUM insist that locals are often involved at various levels
16:26 in the development agenda of the council area. The council building has provision for a ram,
16:33 it has provision for two leaves, one for the mayor and one for the general public because it's the
16:37 right fundamental right of any disabled person to see the mayor. The WUM visit is the start of a tour
16:43 that will take the northwest PIC to all the seven divisional headquarters of the region but it's a
16:49 challenging one. Challenging indeed Sala. Ex-students of St. Joseph College Sase of the
16:57 2023 batch have organized several activities highlighting the importance of consuming
17:03 traditional dishes for better health. As they celebrate gastronomy day today they carried out
17:08 a spot work from post central to the Damask neighborhood where they also receive educative
17:13 talks on the art of food. Details with Gladys Asugwana. Fraternizing along the streets of Yaounde,
17:22 ex-students of St. Joseph College Sase 2003 batch are catching up at this sports and relaxation
17:29 walk commemorating this year's sustainable gastronomy day. By accepting to be sustainable
17:34 ambassadors they are advocating for a healthy lifestyle for all. It's part of the activities
17:42 that we carry out throughout the year and we thought that we can give back to our community
17:46 in our own way. The aspect of understanding gastronomy, the art of food is stressed on here
17:52 by experts as they gather for an educative talk just like in the old days. We need to start
17:58 noticing that eating in a sustainable way, eating the things that we grow, eating the things around
18:05 us, eating healthily especially, eating healthily, the things that we grow, the things that are around
18:12 us is actually the number one step to keep away illnesses. The Sase old boys of 2003 are not only
18:21 promoting wellness this day but also using the opportunity to celebrate father figures in their
18:26 midst. We go over to Douala this time where several students have also graduated from the secondary
18:35 schools and have received the prizes for the great work that they have been doing. We get details of
18:41 that report from Maria Tujika. Not even the scratching heat could water down the joyous
18:50 mood of the students of the government bilingual practice in high school, eagerly anticipating
18:58 their end of year awards. I have passed my exam to go to Form 2 with 18.04 average. I am happy to
19:07 have this exam and I encourage others to work hard so they may be able to have this gift next year.
19:14 The last day of the school year was a moment to make a balance sheet of accomplishments which
19:20 the principal sees as satisfying. It has been better than last year. I've been here for two years
19:27 and this year is better than last year. I can rate it at say 95 percent success. In the presence of
19:35 several administrative authorities, the principal seized the occasion to call on students and staff
19:42 to be honest and rigorous even while on holidays. Let's make an adjustment on that. That was the
19:49 government practice in high school in Yahonde. From Lysse Bilenk, I told you about the graduation
19:57 of students from Lagayete International School Complex here in Yahonde. Let's follow the story
20:03 with Saklovis Bawe. Hard work, determination and braving all challenges have finally paid off.
20:11 These young boys and girls of Lagayete International School Complex are now set to
20:17 embrace their fate. I'm very proud because I've waited for this moment since this course offers
20:23 great opportunities to students and they make us feel proud of ourselves to graduate. Staff members
20:30 of the school too were on the spotlight with the award of label medals in recognition for
20:35 outstanding performance throughout the 27 years of the school's existence. So far, the school
20:42 administration records a positive balance sheet. We've had a huge free school year and this is an
20:48 opportunity for us to continue giving our best. The teachers keep striving tirelessly to ensure
20:53 that excellence is attained. It is on this basis that they have been awarded medals.
20:58 This newly graduated barge of students are therefore mandated to put into practice
21:06 all lessons learned and knowledge acquired during their stay in the establishments.
21:11 It should be the same noise at the Bona Bari Government Bilingual High School where the most
21:18 outstanding students have received prizes in cause of a ceremony marking the end of the school year.
21:25 Committed teachers also received awards for the work that they have been doing as you tell us in
21:30 this report. Sophia Afopanje. After a year of studies, this was the moment for students of
21:37 the Government Bilingual High School Bona Bari to take a break for the long holidays.
21:42 Some students returned home with hands full of rewards. We are also honored to have the ex-students
21:48 of this school. They are here to support us, to honor our very good students, encourage them so
21:55 that they work even harder. Ex-students of the school joined in this year's end of year feast.
22:01 Permit us to ask our children to perform, to put their heads in the school. A form two student
22:13 emerged overall best with an average of 19.6. We need to work very intensive in greatness.
22:22 The students and teachers have said their goodbyes and have taken a rendezvous for the next school
22:28 year. Honorable Ngimbop Simo Josephine, member of the National Assembly for the Bambutu's
22:37 Galim constituency of the West Region, has explained the importance of being stable in
22:42 parliament to members or to her constituents. The member of the Committee on Constitutional Laws,
22:49 Human Rights and Laws of the National Assembly also came along with gifts,
22:54 including farm input and building materials for the local population. Elvis Takei reports.
22:59 The Galim Grandstand was transformed to a cultural fair as the population turned out to welcome the
23:07 Honorable Ngimbo Simo Josephine, who came with the consignment of donations to contribute to
23:13 the structural and educational development of the constituency. During the event, chaired by
23:18 the senior divisional officer for the Bambutu's, the member of parliament outlined measures taken
23:24 at her level to empower the women and youth of the division. We have decided to train 100 women
23:31 and 70 youths in ICTs, e-comments, infography, digital economy and computer maintenance.
23:38 The event was also occasioned to sensitize the population on parliamentary activities
23:45 and the importance of bills examined at the National Assembly.
23:50 Let's get updates from Saudi Arabia, where hundreds of Cameroonians and Brajans from other
23:55 parts of the globe are getting set to perform the Hajj this year in the holy city of Mecca.
24:01 Several steps leading up to this pillar of Islam have already been taken in the course of the
24:06 journey between Medina and Mecca. CRTV's Maimou N'Joya brings peace from the holy city.
24:17 The Hajj begins with a firm intention and this intention is taken on the outskirts of Medina.
24:24 Miqat, as it is called, is the starting point of this fifth pillar of Islam. Here, pilgrims perform
24:32 a few prayers and immediately embark on a journey to the holy city of Mecca. The main prayer on
24:40 every leap is what is known as the Talbiya, translated in the following terms, I quote, "O
24:47 Allah, here I am, here I am, answering your call. All praises belong to you and you have no equal."
24:55 This is said repeatedly throughout the close to five-hour trip to Mecca.
25:03 Since it is the first time I'm coming, I am really, really feeling honoured.
25:06 Now that we have arrived at the holy ground in Mecca, we are looking forward to go around the
25:14 holy sites. In fact, not too long from now, we're going to perform the Hajj at the Kaaba.
25:22 Pilgrims are now expected to get set for the different Hajj rituals and, most importantly,
25:30 pray harder from next week.
25:34 Some personnel of the Cameroon Telecommunications Regulatory Board, TRB, have been schooled on new
25:39 methods of regulating electronic communication. The personnel are preparing for the integration
25:44 of the 5G technology and are anticipating the advent of new technologies. The key speaker at
25:50 the Kribi workshop coming after the board meeting is Professor Justine Diffot-Chukam,
25:55 Board Chair of the TRB. El-Sinji reports from Kribi.
26:00 The high velocity of change in technology, as well as the services offered by the electronic
26:07 communication equally demands a qualified and skilled personnel to meet up with the change
26:12 in the digital economy world. In prelude to the board meeting, the Cameroon Telecommunications
26:19 Regulatory Board members, directors and administrators met in a capacity-building
26:24 workshop in Kribi, aimed to make understand and apprehend new regulatory methods in order
26:31 to upgrade their financial and managerial skills.
26:35 The CEO of TRB presented the project and then to understand and to appreciate ourselves,
26:44 the board meeting of the TRB asked him to call on the consultants so as to allow us to understand
26:53 what is it about. On another theme, restitution of job referential projects, skills and competencies,
27:01 experts could participate on the new regulatory methods which could help them better respond
27:07 to the needs of the sector. Today we really understood why we have to train, we have to
27:13 reinforce capacity, we have also to coach, we even have to mentor our personnel to align
27:20 their performance on the objective of the society. Satisfied, the board chair expressed a joy.
27:29 We are really satisfied. Today we know if you have to recruit a jurist, an economist,
27:34 an engineer, we have to know why. Today we are talking about 5G, tomorrow we are going to 6 or
27:43 7G, we are going to innovate the quality of the tool to also ameliorate the quality of services.
27:50 It's now left to the Cameroon Telecommunications Board members to adopt and implement the new
27:56 regulatory method for a qualified and skilled personnel in the digital economy world.
28:03 The recently appointed executive secretary of the Economic Commission on Cattle, Meat and
28:09 Fishery Resources in the Semak sub-region, Dr. Bison Laura Tabot-Egbe, who died last April,
28:15 was finally laid to rest in her residence in Ujairin, Yaounde. She was raised posthumously
28:21 to the National Order of Valor by the representative of the President of the Republic, Minister
28:26 Alamin Usman Mbaye. Senior reporter Caroline Okye brought back the dirge.
28:31 The loss is huge and so was a crowd of distinguished personalities, family members,
28:38 friends, the Semak family for the home-going ceremony of Dr. Laura Bison Egbe.
28:42 She was a very vibrant woman. Each time we go to the house,
28:49 we know that we have a wife in the house, irrespective of our position of status.
28:53 Kind, God-fearing, sympathetic, hard-working and selfless, Dr. Laura Bison was an incarnation
28:59 of those and much more. We've been together for 25 years. It is very difficult to explain
29:09 how I feel, but unfortunately, today is a day which is beginning to dawn on me that I've lost
29:21 my wife. She was very faithful to us, her family, and all I can say is a really great loss for all
29:28 of us. Presiding over the Erechian Mass, which was centered on the Beatitudes, the Reverend Father,
29:34 just like the deceased husband, described Dr. Laura Bison as a peaceful person with a good heart.
29:39 A veterinary doctor by profession, she was Technical Advisor No. 1 at the Ministry of
29:44 Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industry prior to her appointment on March 17, 2023, as Executive
29:50 Secretary of the Economic Commission of Cattle, Meat, Fisheries Resources in the Semak Sub-region
29:56 in Jermina, a position she will never occupy, cut short by death. She leaves behind an
30:02 unconsolable husband, five children, friends, biological and professional family to mourn her.
30:07 She was decorated by President Paul Bia's personal representative,
30:11 Minister Alamin Ousmane Mbaye, with the National Order of Valor.
30:14 May her soul rest in peace. Cameroonian professional wrestler Pina Humphrey, alias "Buffalo",
30:23 is winner of the African Super Heavyweight belt. He beat Nigerian opponent Okolo Hapi,
30:29 alias "Mighty Man" last evening at the Multi Sports Complex to qualify for the World Championship
30:34 in the United States of America next year. Pina Humphrey, alias "Buffalo", becomes the first
30:39 Cameroonian to emerge as Super Heavyweight Champion in the continent. Romeo Kenya watched
30:45 the fight and counted the final three. The confrontation was highly awaited and both
30:53 Buffalo and Mighty Man are present in the ring at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.
30:58 And just within 9 minutes, Cameroon's Pina Humphrey, alias "Buffalo", got the job well done.
31:04 Age 35, "Buffalo", a native of Bui Division from the northwest region of Cameroon,
31:27 has now become the first ever professional wrestler to win the African Super Heavyweight belt.
31:32 For three years now, Cameroonian professional wrestlers have emerged
31:50 champions in four major international competitions organized home and abroad.
31:55 We saw lots of techniques, skills of the catch that we had never seen before
32:01 and I think Cameroon should be proud. Aside the Super Heavyweight belt handed to "Buffalo",
32:07 other distinctions were given to other wrestlers, referees and officials of the
32:12 Cameroon Wrestling Federation. PWG Social Club of Bamenda and Fuhu Football Club of Baham have
32:19 joined Start Football Club of Banjun and Colom of Deja and Lobo to set up the semi-final pairings
32:25 of the Football Cup of Cameroon 2023. PWG of Bamenda qualified on a 7-6 penalty win
32:32 while Fuhu of Baham beat Victoria United 2 goals to 0 to advance. Details with Nana Walter-Wilson.
32:39 PWG of Bamenda and Dinamo Football Club of Douala had a remake of the 1979 final of the Cup of
32:48 Cameroon this Sunday at the Military Stadium in Waikele, Yawende. Unlike 44 years ago,
32:53 the victory this time was for the Abaca boys who forced Dinamo Football Club of Douala to a 1-0 tie
32:59 before making the difference in post-match penalties, 6 as against 5 for Dinamo Football
33:05 Club of Douala. This to the joy of their players and management. It's a fantastic game for PWG of
33:12 Bamenda and for our late president who just, we just off late, want to dedicate him, to him this
33:20 victory. We didn't start the game the way we wanted to start. We took a very early goal but
33:26 again the guys came back early enough at the beginning of the second, during the second half
33:30 we controlled the game from start to end at the second half but we didn't create the opportunity
33:36 that could score the goal. The penalties were 50-50. I want to say that we were lucky. In the
33:43 second game, FUVU of Baham showed their experience over Elite 2 champions Victoria United Football
33:48 Club of Limbe beating them 2-0. Done with the quarterfinals, football fans are now looking
33:53 forward to the same years in the days ahead. Quarterfinals. Now staff of CRTV Sports and
34:03 Entertainment took off time yesterday, that is on Saturday and Friday, to be able to celebrate
34:09 and think about the work that has been done these past four years covering live competitions in and
34:14 out of Cameroon. Let's follow how the party went on with Ekonde.
34:19 And flair in Friday's soiree in Yaoundé celebrating the fourth anniversary of CRTV Sports
34:30 and Entertainment. The staff headed by the station manager Raphael Kwa and guests assembled
34:37 to commemorate June 6th 2019, a period when the channel went operational.
34:43 Live music, comedy and pleasantries were all on the shelf. The words are the words of
34:52 congratulations and encouragement. This channel is progressing day by day and four years after
35:02 we can say that we have a great evolution. Ever since it was launched up till now I think that
35:09 the channel is living up to its expectation in providing live commentaries of important sporting
35:16 events. Also attending the event, former Indomitable Lions coach Jean-Paul Lacuno and
35:22 veteran football commentator Abel Mbingi attested to CRTV Sports' role in bringing live action to
35:29 Cameroonians. A fourth anniversary may remain a path to many more years of sports broadcasting
35:41 and service to the nation. Thank you for following up the 7.30 news at 8.30. Atta Badinoma is going
35:49 to be here with the news in the French language. I'll be back another time. Have a wonderful time
35:54 and we wish you a very blessed start of the new week.
