00:00 Hey guys, this is my how-to video and today I'm going to be showing you how to bake a
00:05 cake.
00:06 Okay, so the first step would be to preheat the oven.
00:08 So you want to preheat it to 350 degrees.
00:13 Okay, so you need a 13 by 9 pan, oil, 3 eggs, a box of cake mix, a whisk, a spatula, and
00:23 a bowl.
00:24 Okay, so the first thing you want to do is grease the pan.
00:28 So we just have non-stick cooking oil, so we'll go ahead and do that.
00:35 Eggs in the bowl because it makes the cake fluffier, so we'll go ahead and do that.

01:19 next step is to add the cake mix to the beaten eggs, so we'll do that.
01:44 Now you want to add 1 1/4 cup cool water.
02:03 And now you add a 1/2 cup of oil, you can use any type, this is coconut oil.
02:20 The next step is to mix all your ingredients together.
02:24 You want to just make sure that there's no dry mix left.
02:41 Once you have it mixed, you want to go back through with a spatula to make sure that you
02:45 got the sides and the bottom of the bowl.
03:00 Now you want to add all the mixed ingredients to the greased pan.
03:21 Then you want to go back and just spread it around to make sure that it's all even, so
03:38 you don't have raw parts when you cook it.
03:44 Now we're going to set it in the oven.
03:51 You want to put it in the middle so it cooks evenly.
04:02 Then you want to set the timer, so it said 35 minutes.
04:17 So the timer went off, so now we want to see if the cake's done.
04:27 It looks done, but we'll stick a knife in the middle, and if it comes out clean, then
04:32 it's done cooking.
04:35 So it looks clean, so we're going to take it out.
04:49 Now you want to let it cool 10 minutes before you remove it from the pan, and it has to
04:53 cool completely before you can frost it.
04:57 Now that the cake is completely cooled, we took it out of the pan and can begin frosting.

05:38 Once you're done frosting, you can just add sprinkles to the top, and then you're done.
