00:00 Hey guys! Today I'm doing a tutorial on Mad Moxie from Borderlands. She's in Borderlands
00:06 1 and 2, a really cool character. I just felt like doing a cosplay of her, so this is just
00:10 a tutorial of how to do her makeup. So she starts with a really white face, so I'm just
00:16 using a regular white cream to put on my face. I'm just going to apply it with a regular
00:21 cover up pad. You could also use the wedges, but I just ran out of them. So just evenly
00:27 put it on everywhere and blend it all together. Okay, so after getting the white all over
00:34 your face, I just get a powder. This one's shade is called No Color, so it's as close
00:47 to white as I could find that's a good powder. And then I just put it all over just to set
00:52 it and make it look a little more nicer. So next I will do her really rosy cheeks. So
00:59 they're just like little red circles, like a dark pink. So for her blush, I use the Forever
01:09 Blush from Coastal Scents. It's the sweet color. It's a really dark, well pigmented
01:14 one. They're really circular, so I'm going to try two different brushes just to make
01:20 sure that I get it right. Okay, so this brush isn't too great. That's why I wanted the second
01:27 one. So I have another really circular brush. I'm just hoping it's not too big. I'm kind
01:35 of just going to twist it in a circle. Okay, and then I'm going to do the eyes. I'm going
01:43 to do the eyeshadow. It's kind of a similar color to her cheeks, so I'm just going to
01:50 actually use the blush as the eyeshadow. I do have some pink eyeshadows, I just don't
01:59 find the pigment strong enough, so I'm just going to use the same one. And I'm not going
02:05 to put it all the way up, I'm just going to go closer to my eyelid and then out a little
02:10 bit. Just because I find a little bit of too much pink around the eyes makes you look sick.
02:15 Well, me anyways, not everybody. And then I'll just add a little more white in the crease
02:22 just to make it look a little more... So I'm just using a white eyeshadow for this part.
02:37 Okay, now I'm going to do the eyeliner. So it's just like a thick eyeliner on the top
02:44 and the bottom. I'm going to use liquid eyeliner for the top to do my wings and then just a
02:57 regular stick eyeliner for the inside and the bottom. And then I'll draw on the tears
03:03 as well. Okay, so I'll start with the upper line. I do have a little bit on from earlier,
03:09 but I'm just going to thicken it up and extend my wing here. And if ever I mess up on my
03:28 line I just use a q-tip just to touch it up. Okay, so that's one side, now I'm going to
03:35 go ahead and do the other. Okay, so I have my wings done, now I'll just apply my stick
03:57 eyeliner to the bottom. Okay, so next will be the teardrops. They go on your left eye.
04:23 So I'll use my liquid eyeliner I believe for this. I'll have to wait. This liquid eyeliner
04:47 isn't good for this. Okay, so I'm going to do my teardrops. I'll just apply my liquid
04:55 eyeliner. Okay, so I'm going to do my teardrops. I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay,
05:02 so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay, so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay,
05:09 so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay, so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay,
05:16 so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay, so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay,
05:23 so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay, so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay,
05:30 so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay, so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay,
05:38 so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay, so I'll just apply my liquid eyeliner. Okay,
05:46 so I've got my teardrops and then I will just thicken the eyeliner. Okay, so I've got my
06:13 teardrops and then I will just thicken the line a little bit with the pencil, or actually
06:19 I will use the liquid eyeliner. Just around the edges to make it look like a bit of a
06:26 more smudge. Okay, now I'll take a smaller eyeshadow brush and use like a black eyeshadow.
06:43 This is the Kat Von D Interstellar one. I'm just using the black one that comes in it
06:50 right there. And I'll just go around the edges of my eyes just because hers are a bit more
07:09 smudged. Next will be the eyebrows. They're kind of just like black lines, similar to
07:15 the shape I already have, which is great. So I'm just going to go over it with my stick
07:20 liner a little bit. Okay, so I'll just go around the edges of my eyes just because hers
07:27 are a bit more smudged. Oh shoot. Okay, so I'm just going to go around the edges of my
07:34 eyes just because hers are a bit more smudged. Oh shoot. Okay, so I'll just go around the
07:41 edges of my eyes just because hers are a bit more smudged. Okay, so I'll just go around
07:48 the edges of my eyes just because hers are a bit more smudged. Okay, so I'll just go
07:55 around the edges of my eyes just because hers are a bit more smudged. Okay, so I'll just
08:02 go around the edges of my eyes just because hers are a bit more smudged. Okay, so after
08:25 you're done your eyebrows, I'm just going to just dot the little on a row here. Just
08:32 like that. And now it's time to do the lips. So they're outlined in black and then have
08:41 like a little bit of a dark red, so I'm going to use two lipsticks for that. Okay, so I'm
08:49 just going to go around the edges of my lips. Okay, so it looks a little weird right now
09:14 without anything, but once I put the lipstick it'll look a lot better. So I'll be using
09:21 just a bright red lipstick. Okay, so I'm just going to go around the edges of my lips. Okay,
09:32 so I'm just going to go around the edges of my lips. Okay, so I'm just going to go
09:39 around the edges of my lips. And then I have another one that's a lot darker that I will
09:46 just put on top. I'm just going to correct a little bit with the lipstick. Okay, so I'm
10:06 just going to correct a little bit with the white face powder. This goes black and can
10:13 be quite messy. So just a little line there. Okay, so this is Mad Moxie's face almost complete.
10:34 All I have to do is add green contacts, but first I'm just going to do the body paint.
10:41 It's just really easy. You just easily draw a line there and then...oh, it's difficult
10:48 on the other side. God. Okay, so I'm just going to do the body paint. I'm just going
10:58 to do the body paint. God. So a few lines like that and then she has a heart. Okay,
11:05 so I'm just going to do the body paint. I'm just going to do the body paint. Okay, so
11:13 a few lines like that and then she has a heart. And then you'll just fill that in with
11:20 pink. So I think I will use the blush for that. Okay, so I'm just going to do the body
11:40 paint. Okay, so after I have this done, I just have to add mascara and then I'll put
11:47 my contacts in. You could also put fake eyelashes on too just to make your eyes look a little
12:04 bit better, but I don't like wearing them. Now I will just put in my green contacts.
12:28 Alright, so that's my Mad Moxie makeup tutorial. Once I'm finished my costume, I will show
12:35 you that as well all together. The hair, I'll probably...I don't know if I'll just keep
12:45 it like this. I do have a top hat I'll be putting on top, but she has shorter brown
12:48 hair with it flipping a little bit at the ends. I'm not sure what I'll do there yet.
12:54 The eyebrows I think are a little thick, so I'll probably do those a little thinner. But
12:58 yeah, this is kind of what it looks like with the, you know. Alright, well hopefully this
13:04 helped if you guys needed to do your makeup like her too. And thanks for watching! See
13:10 you guys later. Bye!
