00:00 Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. I hope you're having a lovely day
00:03 This video is a very dramatic, but very glam New Year's Eve makeup tutorial
00:08 So we're going to start out with some primer
00:10 Obviously if you've got a long day or a long night planned
00:13 It's best to make sure that our foundation is locked in place. So the same goes for foundation
00:18 This one is actually a long wearing one as well. So then I'm going to apply some under eye concealer
00:24 Whatever normally works for you
00:26 I don't think New Year's Eve is the best day to experiment with new products
00:30 So I'm going to stick with what I know. I'm going to apply some setting powder underneath my eyes
00:35 This won't add any coverage. It's just going to lighten up the concealer a little bit. Then I'm applying the normal powder
00:40 I always use all over my face just to make sure that my foundation yet again isn't going to move during the day or night
00:46 Now time for contouring. So I'm going to just apply a little bit not too much
00:51 Just because their eyes are going to be quite dramatic
00:54 So I don't want to have really really heavy contour plus
00:56 I don't really like to contour very much these days just a very very lightly just so it looks as natural as possible
01:01 Then I'm going to apply some blush so whatever color compliments your skin tone or whatever color you feel looks prettiest on you
01:08 Personally I do think this look looks best with a fuller space
01:12 But of course it is always up to you. Now time for highlight
01:15 I'm going to use this Mary Lou Manizer
01:17 Which I have not used in a million years
01:19 And I'm going to apply that to the highest points of my cheekbones down the bridge of my nose on my
01:23 nostrils
01:25 And then on my cupid's bow and now I'm going to go on to my brows
01:28 I normally don't show this but I thought it's a whole complete tutorial
01:32 So why not all I do is honestly just fill them in to the shape that I want and then I yeah
01:38 It's all just kind of very slowly precisely just adding little bits and pieces
01:42 That's probably a good way of explaining it
01:45 And then I just go in afterwards and I set it with a gel
01:48 Setting with a gel is very very important because otherwise they get all messed up and all that hard work was pretty much for nothing
01:53 I have been contemplating filming a video just on how I do my eyebrows
01:57 So if that's something you think could be interesting
01:59 Please do let me know in the comment section now for the scary part which is black cream shadow
02:04 So the trick here is to keep on applying it until you get to a very dark black and don't apply it too far up
02:10 Towards the crease because what you'll do is make it look like you've been punched in the eyeball
02:15 Which I know is everyone's main concern with a black smokey eyes
02:18 so if you do what I do and just end it a little bit before the crease and then use a small blending brush and
02:23 Just blend and blend and blend and blend and blend and blend
02:26 And then you want to apply underneath the eye as well
02:29 But I honestly just kept on blending that and blending that
02:32 And if you do find it hard you can always add a bit of black to help blend it out
02:36 But whatever works for you
02:38 And now I'm just obviously tight lining my whole entire eyes and then choosing a kind of reddish dark
02:44 Brownie shade with a big fluffy brush and blending that into the crease just to aid in the
02:49 gradient or the blending of the black
02:52 Then I'm going to apply this kind of mahogany red shade from L'Oreal
02:58 It is a pressed pigment, and I'm going to apply that all over the black
03:02 So just absolutely everywhere, and you may want to hold a tissue against your cheeks that you don't get any fallout
03:08 But this black base just makes the red a little bit more subtle, but still noticeable
03:14 So I love how this turned out and then I'm also going to apply that underneath my eye obviously
03:19 So as much as you blend on top you want to blend on the bottom and make it all look very very flawless and seamless
03:24 I'm taking a smaller brush
03:25 And I'm applying that in the inner corners of my eyes
03:28 Just a little warning because of the color of this product if you do go too close towards your nose
03:33 It will look like a black eye unfortunately
03:35 Then I'm taking this Stila magnificent metals product and applying this all over my eyelid this stuff is just like incredible
03:42 I can't even get over it
03:43 It gives you the effect of glitter without all of the mess and it lasts so long and it just looks so nice and it's
03:49 Such a rare color to find in the glitter
03:51 Love it!
03:52 Because I want this look to be very dramatic
03:54 I am going to apply this underneath my lower lashes as well just all over the whole entire eye
04:00 So a huge big sparkly eye, then I'm applying Jordana best lash extreme all over my lashes
04:06 Making them as thick and as long as I possibly can so that we have a nice base for these lashes
04:11 Which are the one three eights by red cherry
04:13 They give you a nice thick base to sit on
04:17 Obviously, then I'm applying them straight to my eye these ones are quite intense quite long
04:22 But I do have long lashes naturally so I can just pull it off. I think but
04:27 The 47s are a great alternative if you don't have if you don't have long eyelashes
04:32 Then I'm going in and lining my lips of course as you all know I like to overdraw them
04:36 Just a little bit just to give them a much fuller poutier look so that is exactly what I'm doing right now
04:42 I have pretty much come to terms with the fact that this is the perfect shade for my lips
04:46 It is just a little bit darker, but the same exact like color and tone how exciting
04:51 I'm very very pleased that I found my ultimate lip liner
04:55 dramatic
04:57 Next I'm using the line crime lipstick in coquette just one layer over my lips
05:01 I don't really you know use this too much. It's just kind of wow. I'm so tongue-tied today
05:06 It's just to provide a nice base for the next lipstick
05:10 Which is the Mac pure zen and I just overdraw my whole entire lips with this one even the lip liner because it just brings
05:16 It all in together as you would have seen in my video on how to create big eyes and big lips in
05:23 Summary I know this is a lot of makeup, but it is New Year's Eve
05:26 So I thought why not go all out, and I hope you guys enjoy as much as I do it is very intense
05:32 But I love the colors. Hope you have a great New Year's, and I look forward to seeing you all next year. Bye guys
05:36 Bye guys!
