00:00 Hey guys! Today's video is going to be a makeup and hair tutorial inspired by
00:04 Adelaide Cain's character Mary in the show Reign, and I'm just really inspired
00:09 by her cool looking hair and her really simple and easy kind of makeup look. And
00:15 so to start off, I am taking my elf eyelid primer to prime my eyelid so that
00:20 the eyeshadows do not crease or smudge or anything like that.
00:29 Then from the Lorac Pro palette, I'm taking Cream and I'm just going to brush
00:33 this all over my eyelid to kind of set the eyelid primer and just make other
00:39 eyeshadows later on easier to blend. And then I'm taking Taupe, and this is also from the
00:44 Lorac Pro, and I'm going to apply this to my crease with a fluffy brush.
00:56 I'm then going in with the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny, and I'm going to
01:00 also apply this to my crease to just kind of warm it up some.
01:03 And then I'm going in with White and Cream mixed together, and I'm going to apply this to my
01:12 brow bone as a highlight.
01:25 Then I'm mixing White and Nude together, and I'm using that as an inner corner
01:28 highlight.
01:31 Then I'm taking black and using a liner brush, I'm just going to kind of smudge
01:42 this all over my upper lash line.
01:45 And then whatever's left on the brush, I'm just going to take this and run it on my
01:53 lower lash line too.
01:55 Then I'm using my Maybelline Master Drama Eyeliner, and I'm going to tightline my
01:59 upper lash line.
02:02 And then I applied the Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara on my upper
02:07 lashes, and the CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara on my lower lashes.
02:12 Then I'm using the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, and I'm mixing Naked
02:30 2 and Faint, and I'm just using that to fill in my eyebrows.
02:35 I'm using the CoverGirl Outlastay Fabulous 3-in-1 foundation, and I'm just
02:51 going to use a damp beauty sponge to apply that to my face.
02:55 Then I'm using the Physicians Formula ConcealRx Concealer to cover up any
03:14 blemishes and my really dark under eye circles.
03:17 I'm using the Bare Minerals Mineral Veil, and I'm using this to set my
03:34 concealer and my foundation.
03:37 I'm also contouring, and I'm using the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer again to do that
03:55 as well.
03:58 I'm using Benefit Posy Tint as blush, and the Benefit Hybene to highlight my
04:04 cheekbones as well.
04:07 For lips, I'm using this NARS kind of lip pencil that I got for free from
04:24 Sephora for my birthday. I'm not really sure what it's called, but I'll put that
04:29 down below. For hair, I'm using the Tresemme Heat Protectant, and I'm just
04:33 taking a one-inch curling iron and curling really small pieces about halfway
04:37 up. I'm making them really small and just kind of randomly curling them in
04:41 different directions. That's all I did for the entire hair look. I just kept
04:45 alternating which direction I curled the hair, and I didn't hold it on for that
04:49 long. I'm just setting that with the Suave Touchable Finish Hairspray.
04:53 I noticed in the show, Mary always has her front pieces of hair clipped back,
04:59 so I'm just going to tie those pieces of hair at the front back. She also
05:03 always has intricate braiding and cool braids kind of all over her hair and
05:08 just in different places, so I just decided to take a small piece of hair
05:12 kind of around my ear, and I'm just going to braid that down and tie it.
05:16 (music)
05:19 And because she's the Queen, she's always wearing cool headbands and crowns and
05:35 stuff, so I just took a cool little headband and put that in as well just
05:39 for the look. And that's the finished Mary Rain makeup and hair! Thank you guys
05:45 so much for watching, and I'll talk to you soon! Bye!
