Elon Musk Meets French President Macron At 'Choose France' Summit

French President Emmanuel Macron hosted the annual "Choose France" summit in Versailles, where he met with global business leaders, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Macron and Musk discussed various topics, including the European response to the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act and France's progress in attracting investment and developing electric vehicles and energy. Musk also attended a roundtable on "Green Industrialisation" and a dinner with other CEOs. French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire presented Musk with new tax credits for investments in green technology. France had previously attempted to convince Musk to build a European gigafactory in the country but he chose Germany instead.
