00:14 Hi guys, today I'm going to be showing you how to do this makeup.
00:18 It's kind of inspired by Skye Ferreira or... what's her face? Kate Moss.
00:24 So it's like a... I'm thinking I'm going to call this a heroin chic makeup look.
00:29 So it looks like you're a drug addict, but in a good way. If that's even possible.
00:33 It's a bit on the grungy side. It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but if it is yours, then keep on watching.
00:39 So first things first, I'm going to be taking my e.l.f. primer, just to prime the lids a little bit,
00:43 as we're going to be putting a lot of eyeshadow on top.
00:46 So just placing that on the eyelid and then smudging it in.
00:56 The first shadow I'm going to be taking is from the Sleek palette from Storm 578,
01:01 which is like my all-time favourite.
01:03 I'm going to be using this colour right here, and it's just this matte light brown.
01:07 You can hardly see it because I've hit pan like so much, I need to get a new one.
01:11 And I'm just taking that on a fluffy brush and placing that just like all over the lid sort of thing.
01:18 Blending it up all the way into almost the brow bone.
01:22 [Music]
01:32 Next I'm using the same palette and I'm taking this matte brown kind of chocolate colour,
01:38 and taking the same brush, I'm just going to be applying that onto like a lash line sort of thing,
01:45 and blending that upwards.
01:47 [Music]
02:04 Now I'm going to take the same eyeshadow and kind of place it on the inner part of the eye
02:09 to create more depth and more of a sunken in look.
02:13 [Music]
02:23 The next layer of colour I'm going to be applying is from this Clarins Quad,
02:27 and I'm going to be using this really nice dark plum colour.
02:31 So I'm taking that on a smaller fluffy brush and I'm actually placing that underneath just a tiny bit
02:37 to add a bit of colour to the eye.
02:40 And I'm going to blend that out a lot so it's not too harsh and doesn't look like your eyes are irritated.
02:47 [Music]
02:49 Moving on, I'm actually going to be using a blush from Sleek as a colour for my eyelids too,
02:54 and I'm going to be using this really gorgeous plum/red kind of blush, and this is in Flushed 935.
03:02 I really, really like this colour and this is the first time I get to use it in a tutorial, so I'm really excited.
03:07 I'm taking it on a smaller fluffy brush once more and I'm actually applying that in the crease,
03:13 just ever so slightly, and it's just going to add that kind of pop of colour
03:19 and really make your eyes look kind of tired and drowsy, but that's the look we're going for.
03:25 [Music]
03:31 Now I'm just going to return back to that brown shadow from the Sleek palette
03:34 and just add a bit more depth to the places where it's appropriate.
03:39 [Music]
03:44 Now I'm just going to return back to that Sleek blush that I used for my eyes
03:49 and I'm taking a Bobbi Brown blush brush and just applying that very, very slightly onto my cheeks.
03:55 [Music]
04:05 So for this look, you want your face very angular and very prominent,
04:08 so I'm going to be using this e.l.f. bronzer and the e.l.f. kind of contouring brush to just give my face a bit more shape.
04:15 [Music]
04:24 So I'm going to return back to the eyes now. I know, I'm breaking rules, such a rule breaker.
04:28 I'm going to be applying mascara now, but first I'm going to curl my lashes with the e.l.f. eyelash curler
04:35 just to give my lashes a bit more volume and curl, I guess.
04:42 [Music]
04:44 And now I'm going to be using the Benefit They're Real mascara.
04:47 I really, really like this mascara because it really defines your lashes and makes them very long,
04:52 longer than they really are, so this is probably one of my favourite mascaras right now.
04:57 [Music]
05:01 So this is the final look. I think that maybe if you wanted something a bit more dramatic,
05:06 you could add like a plum or red lipstick, but I think I'm just going to keep it very simple
05:11 as the eyes are very extreme anyway and so is everything else, so I think I'm just going to keep it like this.
05:17 As I said in the beginning, this look isn't for everyone, but for those of you who are more exotic
05:23 and extreme and experimental with makeup, then I think this is a very cool, kind of like grungy look.
05:29 You could wear it for a night out or maybe you could wear it as a daytime look.
05:33 I mean, I'd totally rock this as a daytime look.
05:36 So if you're brave enough, then try it out. Tell me what you think down below
05:41 and if you have any more suggestions for what makeup tutorials I could do then,
05:46 tell me down below too and I love you all and I'll see you in my next one. Bye!
05:50 It's the first time I get to use it in a tutorial, so I'm really excited.
05:57 I'm taking it on a smaller fluffy brush, one that's small, and I'm actually applying that in the crease,
06:03 just ever so slightly, and it's just going to add that kind of pop of colour
06:09 and really make your eyes look kind of tired and drowsy, but that's the look we're going for.
06:15 [music]
06:21 Now I'm just going to return back to that brown shadow from the Sleek palette
06:24 and just add a bit more depth to the places where it's appropriate.
06:29 [music]
06:34 Now I'm just going to return back to that Sleek blush that I used for my eyes
06:39 and I'm taking a Bobbi Brown blush brush and just applying that very, very slightly onto my cheeks.
06:45 [music]
06:55 So for this look, you want your face very angular and very prominent,
06:58 so I'm going to be using this Elf bronzer and the Elf kind of contouring brush
07:03 to just give my face a bit more shape.
07:05 [music]
07:14 So I'm going to return back to the eyes now. I know, I'm breaking rules. Such a rule breaker.
07:18 I'm going to be applying mascara now, but first I'm going to curl my lashes with the Elf
07:23 and I'm going to be using this really gorgeous plum/red kind of blush, and this is in Flushed 935.
07:32 I really, really like this colour and this is the first time I get to use it in a tutorial, so I'm really excited.
07:37 I'm taking it on a smaller fluffy brush, one that's small, and I'm actually applying that in the crease,
07:43 just ever so slightly, and it's just going to add that kind of pop of colour
07:49 and really make your eyes look kind of tired and drowsy, but that's the look we're going for.
07:55 [music]
08:01 Now I'm just going to return back to that brown shadow from the Sleek palette
08:04 and just add a bit more depth to the places where it's appropriate.
08:09 [music]
08:14 Now I'm just going to return back to that Sleek blush that I used for my eyes
08:19 and I'm taking a Bobbi Brown blush brush and just applying that very, very slightly onto my cheeks.
08:25 [music]
08:35 So for this look, you want your face very angular and very prominent, so I'm going to be using this Elf bronzer
08:40 and the Elf kind of contouring brush to just give my face a bit more shape.
08:45 [music]
08:54 I'm just going to be using a bit of that same shade, a bit of that same shade,
08:57 and just kind of blending that upwards.
09:00 [music]
09:16 Now I'm going to take the same eyeshadow and kind of place it on the inner part of the eye
09:21 to give it more of a sunken in look.
09:24 [music]
09:34 The next layer of colour I'm going to be applying is from this Clarins Quad
09:38 and I'm going to be using this really nice, dark plum colour.
09:42 So I'm taking that on a smaller fluffy brush and I'm actually placing that underneath,
09:47 just a tiny bit to add a bit of colour to the eye.

10:29 and I'm taking a Bobbi Brown blush brush and just applying that very, very slightly onto my cheeks.
10:35 [music]
10:45 So for this look you want your face very angular and very prominent,
10:48 so I'm going to be using this e.l.f. bronzer and the e.l.f. contouring brush to just give my face a bit more shape.

11:04 So I'm going to return back to the eyes now.
11:06 I know, I'm breaking rules. Such a rule breaker.
11:08 I'm going to be applying mascara now, but first I'm going to curl my lashes with the e.l.f.
11:13 and I'm going to be using this really gorgeous plum/red kind of blush, and this is in Flushed 935.

11:36 and it's just going to add that kind of pop of colour and really make your eyes look kind of tired and drowsy,
11:43 but that's the look we're going for.
11:45 [music]
11:51 Now I'm just going to return back to that brown shadow from the side, more drowsy, but that's the look we're going for.
11:57 [music]
12:03 Now I'm just going to return back to that brown shadow from the Sleek palette and just add a bit more depth to the places where it's appropriate.
12:11 [music]
12:16 Now I'm just going to return back to that Sleek blush that I used for my eyes,
