00:00 Hey friends in this video
00:02 I'm gonna show you how to do this cute little hairstyle and I have to tell you this was like by far one of
00:06 Secor's favorites in a while. So I first started off by making a part from ear to ear
00:12 I should also mention that I did spray her hair with my water bottle
00:17 I just got it all nice and moist so that it would be easier to work with
00:20 So friends I've been trying something new in my water bottle
00:23 I just wanted to switch things up a bit and see how it works in her hair
00:26 I've been using olive oil and some of the shea moistures leave-in conditioner and as well as filtered water
00:31 Whereas I usually use the coconut and just a conditioner that tries to me
00:35 That's what I usually use but I'm trying something new out and I've been using that in the last couple of videos
00:40 I never mentioned it. I would just always leave it in the description box
00:43 So I thought I should mention it since I get a lot of questions about it
00:46 But that's what I'm using in my water bottle for now, and I actually love this mixture
00:50 So I just clipped that top part now. I'm making a
00:54 part in the middle and if you need a guide I would just use her nose as a guide and just kind of like trace
00:59 It in the air all the way back and it works out perfect
01:03 And now I'm just adding the elastics at the back of the hair and I'm just basically creating two pigtails at the back
01:08 Before I got that elastic in there
01:12 I did make sure that it was
01:13 Detangled and I also added some of the control paste to her edges before I put that elastic in as well
01:19 and
01:21 Then I just put one ponytail at the front and again
01:23 You just want to make sure it's detangled and get some of that control paste in there before you add that ponytail in
01:29 Now I'm gonna start creating my braids and you just want to make sure that when you do your braids, you know
01:36 Just to moisturize it a little bit. Maybe even put some cream or some
01:40 Oil or something in there if you're gonna keep this style in for a while
01:44 And
01:46 Friends I did my braids in fives. I did like five braids on
01:56 The left side five braids on the right side and in those back two ponytails. I also did five braids
02:02 I don't know. I just wanted to keep it even you could do as many as less as you want
02:07 You kind of want to I guess make sure that they will fit into those the beads
02:11 So I try to make mine, you know in between so friends. I didn't record all the braiding and this is for all my beginner friends
02:18 Hey, do you guys it was that too fast? Like should I've recorded?
02:21 You know
02:22 It's step by step and you know
02:24 At least maybe sped it up a little bit because I know and I totally understand that if you know
02:29 You're just learning something you want to see things all the way through
02:33 So let me know in the comments below if you're a beginner and that was you know
02:37 You would like to see a sped up version of pretty much the whole thing
02:40 I this video was just way too long and I didn't want to make it longer than it might not have needed to be
02:45 So friends let me know
02:47 So now on to the beading I got this beading thing off of eBay. Oh my gosh
02:52 I've had it for a while, but I haven't used it yet. This is my first time in this video using it
02:56 So I just grabbed my beads
02:58 I got about five beads and I am just putting it through that beater thing and let me tell you the first couple times
03:04 it was kind of you know, it was
03:07 Weird putting it on I guess I wasn't fast enough but after the third or fourth time it was like BAM
03:11 And then I grabbed some of my olive oil and I added it to her ends because man did the beads slide on like butter
03:20 After I put it on
03:22 Now you just put that tip of the hair like the end of the hair in that loop
03:27 Like you'll see here and you want to try to go as close to the end as possible
03:32 And then you just slide those beads up. It's gonna be a little bit slippery with the oil, but it works
03:38 Look at how amazing that goes on. So
03:40 BAM BAM BAM BAM and then I use these elastics at the end
03:46 I've seen some people use foil
03:48 But I'm just gonna use these amazing color elastics and I was so excited when I went to my beauty supply store and seeing these
03:55 Colorful rubber elastics because I was using colorful plastic elastics and plastic always breaks
04:00 So I'm so happy and they have nice colors
04:03 So check this out friends. I'm sure this is why this long beater was made because I've seen a lot of small beaters
04:10 I thought they were so cute
04:11 But I'm so glad I had this long one because I put ten beads on here at once
04:14 So that I can you know, just do two big two braids pretty much not at once
04:20 But I mean so I do one after another and it just made things so much faster
04:24 So if you could get a long beater, I think I would suggest doing that
04:27 *music*
04:31 So friends here's a closer look and if you notice I actually
04:34 Beaded like all the braids in the ponytail first and one ponytail
04:38 I did I did it, you know ponytail by ponytail and then I added the elastics
04:43 It just made things so much faster rather than getting the beads then adding the elastic and then getting beads and then adding elastic
04:50 I just did the beads all the beads and then the elastic for me it goes by faster
04:54 I mean you'll find your rhythm how it will work best for you. So this just works. I think faster for me
05:00 I should mention that I got these beads from Michaels
05:04 These beads are actually used to make like bracelets and all that kind of stuff, you know for kids
05:08 But I really like them so you can also get them at I'm sure beauty supply stores
05:13 *music*
05:17 So I wanted to show you another way that you can add the elastic just to hold the beads in place
05:21 You just take the tip of the hair like the end of the hair
05:25 Sorry, and then you fold it over that last bead. So you're taking that last bead and you're putting that
05:30 Elastic in between the last bead and the second last bead. It was difficult for me to do that
05:36 Maybe it's because I had so much oil on my hands
05:38 But so I didn't really that's why I didn't use that and also I like it
05:42 I don't mind it at the bottom with those colorful elastics. I think it looks good
05:46 But it's up to you and now to finish off the look I'm gonna add some of this blueberry bliss control paste to her edges
05:53 And bam, how freaking adorable is this hairstyle friends? I just love it. She looks so cute
06:00 But friends we're not finished
06:02 I wanted to show you guys what I did when it was her bedtime because I wanted to you know
06:07 Try to keep it in for a couple of days
06:09 So I just took off that ponytail and I'm just making a loose braid at the top
06:13 I don't want to keep it in the ponytail. That's my problem
06:15 It's just I don't want it to be too tight on her head all night
06:18 Like I don't like her sleeping in tight ponytails
06:20 So I took it out and I tried to braid it all the way to the end
06:23 The only thing is that it is a bit crinkly like when you take it out and then put it back in that ponytail her
06:28 Her braids are crinkly in a bit, but I don't have a problem with that
06:33 It looks still looking very cute
06:35 So I did that to the rest of the hair and then I just grabbed this scarf
06:38 Hoping it would stay on her head all night. But of course it didn't
06:41 I've had a lot of questions asking if Sakura if I put a bonnet on her head
06:45 But I don't because I had one but it didn't stay on her head and she didn't even like it
06:50 And but she was only like three at the time. So I might have to try again
06:53 Actually, I do really want to try again because I know that it would really help her hair. Anyways friends
07:00 I hope you liked this video. Please don't forget to Like and subscribe to her channel for more. We love you friends. Bye
