Smoking is one of the major causes of preventable deaths worldwide. It is a leading cause of lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart disease, and stroke. The toxic chemicals and carcinogens in cigarettes can damage organs and tissues, leading to a host of health problems. It’s important to recognize the harmful effects of smoking and the importance of quitting smoking to prevent or minimize the risk of health complications. Therefore, we must promote awareness about the dangers of smoking and encourage individuals to take steps towards quitting, both for their own health and for the health of others around them.
