The rescue operation at a gas explosion in Swansea has come to an end after 1 man was found dead and three others were taken to hospital, including a child who has since been discharged. Many people in the area have since been left unable to go home, and the council have said temporary accommodation is being provided.

Second home owners and those with long-term empty properties in Cardiff will now pay more in council tax. A Cardiff City cabinet member for housing said the decision was to bring empty homes back into use, and hopes this will create more accommodation to the city.

Wales manager Rob Page has announced his squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Croatia and Latvia, his first since Welsh legend Gareth Bale retired. 4 uncapped players have been called up, as a number of veteran players announced their retirement including Jonny Williams, Chris Gunter and Joe Allan.
