Serbia: Russian activist opposed to war targeted in Belgrade

Serbia is one of the few countries in Europe that grants Russian citizens visa-free entry. Russian activist Ilia Zernov from the city of Kazan publicly opposed the invasion of Ukraine while still in Russia and eventually had to flee the country. He ended up in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, where he was targeted by pro-Russian Serbs for his opposition to the war.
