Um seinem Leben und seiner verlorenen Liebe zu entfliehen, setzt Buster in seinem kleinen Boot Amor die Segel, stößt aber auf den Walfänger "The Love Nest". Der Kapitän ist ein gnadenloser Kerl, der seine Mannschaft schon für das kleinste Vergehen bestraft. Nachdem der Steward ihm eine Tasse heißen Tee über die Hand gegossen hat, wirft er ihn kurzerhand über Bord und ersetzt ihn durch Buster. Trotz einer Reihe von Missgeschicken gelingt es Buster schließlich, dem Schicksal der anderen Besatzungsmitglieder zu entgehen.
