Water to be released from Qld's Wivenhoe Dam ahead of looming wet season

Predictions of another wet season have prompted the state government to open the flood gates on Wivenhoe Dam this weekend. More than 100,000 megalitres will be released, the equivalent of about 50,000 olympic sized swimming pools.
