LIVI Deane, 25, from Horsham, UK was just 12 years old when she was diagnosed with retinoblastoma - a rare eye cancer. Terrified, Livi told Truly: "The first thing I thought in my head was I'm going to die." Enduring rounds of chemotherapy, Livi fought the cancer but the only way to save her life was to have her right eye removed. Post-operation, looking in the mirror for the first time, Livi said: "I felt like a monster, I hated the way I looked." Bullied at school, Livi's confidence hit an all time low. But a few years ago, Livi decided to embrace her disability, even ditching her prosthetic eye for Instagram photos. Now a model, Livi is proud of who she is. She says: "I love myself. What's easier than being yourself?"
