A Moment of Mishearing is part memoir, part essay film and part performance. It is a chronicle in words, songs and images of Amit’s personal journey through ideas, cultures and cities.
Directed by Amit Chaudhuri and Don Boyd, a Hibrow Productions film. Visual inputs for the show, which was made possible by a major grant from the Arts Council, England, came from Roger Elsgood and Pascal Mindlin. Additional footage in Calcutta was shot by Neal Ghosh. Band members that evening included Adam Moore (guitar), Matt Hodges (keyboard), Paul Williams (bass), and Hanif Khan (tabla).
