‘Chemical leak’ at Walton Summit Industrial Estate

Three fire engines from Leyland and Preston attended a “hazardous materials incident” in Brierley Road, Bamber Bridge, shortly after 10.55am on Monday (July 18).
The incident involved a “chemical leak”, according to Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
“Firefighters are working with United Utilities and other partners to make the scene safe,” a spokesman added.
“No injuries have been reported.”
