Bader Content Studios team was on site at Tulane University for the three day inaugural New Orleans Book festival

The more than 30 sessions over a three day period brought huge authors to the campus for discussions on racial and social justice as recurring themes, as was the U.S. political divide in the country.

The author signing sessions offered something for everyone from fiction to history, history of New Orleans Jazz, Katrina 17 years later and for David Brooks, just hope to be a better person.

Authors Michael Lewis, Malcolm Gladwell, Charles M. Blow, Bakari Sellers and David Brooks kept people riveted in their seats.

The opening session featured legal thriller author John Grisham and Imani Perry, a Princeton University professor of African American studies.

The Festival featured both fiction and non-fiction and convened readings, panel discussions, symposia and keynote speeches. It will also provided an opportunity for outlets, authors and readers to interact with each other in one of the most vibrant and culturally diverse cities in the world.
The impressive, diverse lineup of authors, chefs and musicians were from a vast array of genres and disciplines with the audience experiencing the vibrant synergy between the authors and their audiences in each engaging session.

The New Orleans Book Festival offered something to readers of all ages and backgrounds and provided an opportunity for members of the New Orleans community to come together over a shared love of reading. The panels and sessions featuring bestselling and beloved authors lead lively conversations.

The mission of the book festival is to attract and captivate book enthusiasts of all ages from all over, especially in New Orleans, Tulane University and surrounding communities. This is sure to become one of the nation’s premier literary destinations.
