(On the original release: backing vocals by Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg.)
The Mellotron uses analogue samples, recorded on audio tape.
The British musicians' union tried to get the Mellotron banned.
They were concerned that it would be used to replace session players.
Now that is an example of pure narrow mindedness, nearly backwardness...
In the USA some unions were (are?) lead by the maffia.
The unions world wide have proved to be good, but their major, I write MAJOR downside is: they keep asking for higher wages.
Sure yeah, we all want higher wages, but look where it has led to: life for the common man keeps getting harder, for we ALL pay for those higher wages.
And where has it also led too? Factories closing down and moving to low income countries... so that we now have to import most of our goods from China, with its backward, narrow minded, totalitarian regime, trying to rule the world...
Is there more? Yes, there is more: that backward, narrow minded, totalitarian Chinese regime imprisoned the medical doctors who gave early warnings about the corona virus, a very stupid way of trying to maintain their facade of false slimy laughing friendly faces of "everything is okay here"... a dangerous killer ! regime, responsible for the death of more than two million people (Covid numbers on January 15, 2021) ! ! ! And another three exclamation marks ! ! ! And yeah, the sports people just don't care, just like in Hitler Germany in the thirties... what a shame...
