Edit 2 for headphones, August 2024. Recorded by the Stones at Chess Studios in November of 1964. Never released in the US or UK, but it was released by mistake in 1983 in West Germany on the album" The Rest Of The Best". When the LP was put together, this song, which was titled in a session log as "Tell Me Baby", was mistaken for the Jagger/Richards song "Tell Me", and included on the album and listed as "Tell Me" on the LP sleeve. The actual title of the song is "Tell Me Baby, How Many Times", but officially listed by the Stones as a cover called "How Many Times".
Source cd of the edit: the bootleg "Around And Around" by Invasion Unlimited - IU9531-1.*

HOW MANY TIMES (a.k.a. TELL ME BABY)
(Lee Conley Bradley)

my friends all told me
and as a boy was I told
about all you baby´s
I love her so
tell me baby
tell me darling
how many times?

jump up and tell me
woah tell the truth
I didn´t sleep last night baby
I was that kind of fool
tell me baby
oh darling
how many times?

I called this morning
about half past four
I heard somebody
run out your back door
tell me baby
tell me darling
how many times?

you´re bound to tell me
woah Tell the truth
before I get Mad baby
and all is through
tell me baby
tell me darling
how many times
