Labor promising $2.4b upgrade to national broadband network ahead of upcoming election

Federal labor is promising to spend $2.4 billion upgrading the national broadband network to deliver faster internet speeds for more than a million homes. It's the first major policy unveiled by the opposition in months as the party prepares for a looming election.
